Vinny Foti, MTV"s The Challenge Alum, Hospitalized for Heart Failure
Vinny Foti, a former cast member on MTV’s The Challenge, is in desperate need of your help.
A GoFundMe campaign has been created to assist Foti after relatives announced he was hospitalized on Friday due to heart failure.
This is what the GoFundMe page dedicated to Foti reads:
Our sweet, dear friend and coworker Vinny Foti is in ICU with heart failure. He is on a ventilator and is sedated.
He is a loving father and husband. We are trying to help raise money for medical expenses and other things needed for the family.
They have two daughters ages 2yrs , and 2 months old. Please help us pull together and help this beautiful family. Please help if you can.
Foti is a 36-year old native of Boston.
His loved ones subsequently updated followers of the GoFundme page with a statement sharing his current condition, while Foti’s wife, Krista Foti, shared the awful news on Twitter.
“Thank you for the donations, shares, and likes. Our family feels really loved,” reads this message.
It continues:
“I told Vinny what was going on even though he was still sleeping. I know he appreciates everything you guys have done.
“Here’s the only update I have. They had to put another tube is his left lung to drain.
“He’s still in ICU and not getting off the ventilator for a few more days the dr said. Dr said we just got to take it day by day. I ll keep everyone posted.”
Foti may be a familiar face to MTV viewers.
He initially appeared on the Fresh Meat II season of The Challenge in 2010 and later took part in The Challenge: Season 20’s Cutthroat competition, as well as Season 22’s Battle of the Exes.
He’s been involved in reality television for years.
Among other reasons for earning a large fan base during his run on the show, Foti garnered attention for his impressive physique
“I train every day like an absolute animal and I’m ready,” he said during his first run on the hit MTV series. “I’m in peak performance shape.”
The stated goal of the GoFundMe campaign is to raise $ 20,000.
As of this writing, it had raised $ 2,280.

Demi Lovato Hospitalized for Suspected Heroin Overdose
Demi Lovato is in need of your prayers right now.
According to TMZ and other typically-reliable outlets, the beloved singer was rushed to a hospital around noon on Tuesday, July 24.
It is believed she suffered a heroin overdose.
With details still coming in, we"ve recapped what we know so far, along with Lovato"s unfortunate history of drug use below.

1. What Do We Know?
Insiders have told TMZ that Lovato was transported to a local hospital early Tuesday afternoon. She was taken there from her home in Hollywood Hills.
2. What is Her Status?
We wish we knew. The artist is being treated by doctors as we write this, but her condition is unknown right now.
3. The Official Word
“LAPD and LAFD responded to a medical emergency at the 8000 block of Laurel View Dr. at 11:40 a.m.” the Los Angeles Police Department has told People Magazine.
4. Furthermore…
A representative for the Los Angeles Fire Department also told this same publication that they “transported a 25-year-old female patient to a local hospital.” These departments, of course, cannot release the patient’s name.
5. How Serious Was the Overdose?
VERY, it sounds like. Law enforcement sources tell TMZthat Demi was treated with Narcan – an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses – at her house, which is where the incident took place.
6. Could We Have Seen This Coming?
Yes, tragically. For multiple reasons, the most obvious of which is that Lovato is an admitted addict and you know the creed of every addict, right? “One day at a time.” This is a disease of which they are never cured.

George Clooney Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash: Had He Been Drinking?
Frightening news out of Italy today, as George Clooney has been hospitalized following a motorcycle accident.
Clooney suffered several unspecified injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
The actor’s wife, Amal Clooney, reportedly rushed to be by his side during treatment, and he has since been released to recover at home.
“His expected prognosis is 20 days to get better,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
Clooney has yet to speak to the press about the incident, but the driver of the Mercedes that struck his bike says it was a simple case of obstructed vision:
“I had the sun in my face, I did not see anything, I just felt a stroke,” said the driver, who has been identified only Antonello C.
An onlooker who claims to have witnessed the crash and its aftermath says Clooney appeared to be in a great deal of pain:
“Another car, a Mercedes, came from Olbia to Porto San Palo,” Giacamo D’angelo told Radar.
“The other car hit the motorcycle of George Clooney.”
D’Angelo added that Clooney “cried out in pain,” and “held his head in his hands.”
A full investigation has been launched, and it’s only expected to be a few days before the case is officially closed.
But interestingly, as straightforward as the accident appears to be, police have not yet ruled drugs and alcohol as possible causes of the crash.
Though it doesn’t appear that he’s ever had a serious problem with alcohol, Clooney’s love of drinking is no secret.
So perhaps it’s natural that certain media outlets have chosen to fixate on that aspect of the investigation.
But in all likelihood, this is a simple case of one or both drivers being briefly distracted and/or blinded by the sun.
Amal Clooney gave birth to twins just last year, and sources close to the family say George is a natural as a dad.
So it seems unlikely that George is motoring around Lake Como drunk off his ass.
But in order to hedge our bets, we’ll emphasize out that it’s unlikely …
… but certainly not impossible.

Kaley Cuoco Hospitalized for Shoulder Surgery on Her Honeymoon
On Saturday, June 30, Kaley Cuoco married Karl Cook! It’s wonderful news!
After the wedding comes the honeymoon. Not all marriages begin like a fairy tale.
Unfortunately, Kaley ended up spending hers in the hospital while undergoing shoulder surgery.
Kaley Cuoco shared a couple of images of her less-than-blissful honeymoon.
“When your ‘honeymoon’ is shoulder surgery,” Kaley says in the captions. “And your husband looks just as happy lol.”
He was clearly a very good sport about the whole thing. As, of course, we would hope that any spouse would.
Kaley then announces that she is “on the road to recovery.”
That is great news. The sooner that she makes a full recovery, the sooner that she can get back to enjoy her married life!

Kaley offers a shout-out to her fans.
“Thank you for all the love and support,” Kaley writes, followed by a red heart emoji.
“Knowing @mrtankcook,” she says. “I’m sure he will be posting tons of hilarious gems.”
Gems like the photo of her very grumpy face.
“Thank god,” Kaley says. “My hair color is on point”
Though we’re glad to hear that Kaley is recovering, that sounds like some truly miserable timing, right?
Kaley took to her Instagram stories to explain that the surgery wasn’t an emergency situation.
“For everyone asking,” Kaley explained. “Because everyone’s been so sweet and worried about me, this is a planned surgery.”
She reveals that this surgical appointment is one that “I’ve had for over a year.”
“I hurt it over a year ago,” Kaley reveals, adding that she “did not need immediate surgery” at the time.
“So,” Kaley explains. “I brilliantly planned it five days after our wedding. Right, babe?”
That is … not ideal timing.
At the same time, however, it’s certainly better than undergoing surgery prior to your wedding.
You don’t want your arm in a sling when you walk down the aisle.
Sometimes, people recovering from surgery are on medications that do not mix with alcohol. You certainly don’t want that.
And since it’s been scheduled for a year, it’s not like she got injured on their honeymoon and had to cancel perfectly laid plans.
Back in the olden days, honeymoons were high-pressure situations in which a newly married couple was at least assumed to be having sex for the first time and, for the first time, getting to know one another in a domestic setting.
Now, unless you’re part of a Duggar-like fertility cult or simply choose to wait, most couples are comfortable with each other sexually.
And, quite frankly, most have lived with each other well before tying the knot.
The honeymoon is now more of a very special vacation for couples and less of a high stakes opportunity to find out whether or not two near-strangers have made a catastrophic mistake.
In that sense, Kaley’s timing is actually pretty great.
Sure, she’s recovering from surgery — but now she has her husband to look after her. That is so sweet.

Joe Jackson: Hospitalized with Cancer, On Verge of Death
Joe Jackson has been hospitalized with terminal cancer.
And, according to multiple outlets, the father of Michael and Janet Jackson will almost certainly never go home again.
Those close to the Jackson patriarch tell TMZ that loved ones are rushing to Jackson’s side, hoping to say goodbye to the controversial figure prior to his passing.
Joe’s wife, Katherine, is reportedly at the hospital and she has been joined there so far by a handful of kids and grandkids.
“Joe is going to die any day,” an insider says simply to Radar Online, adding of his wife:“Katherine doesn’t think he will live until Monday.”
This same source says Joe’s relatives “are already planning his funeral,” saying that Joe has made his wishes well known:
“Joe wants to be buried next to Michael. So he’ll be laid to rest in the mausoleum, and so will Katherine.
“The Jacksons have already bought multiple plots at Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles, have spoken to police and arranged car services.”
Joe’s health has been in decline now for a number of years, as he suffered a stroke in 2015 and has also been diagnosed with an aggressive form of colon cancer.
“He’s very very frail, he doesn’t have long,” Jermaine Jackson told The Daily Mail this morning. “The family needs to be by his bedside – that’s our only intention in his final days.”
Jackson, of course, is the father of the late Michael Jackson, as well as singer Janet Jackson and nine other kids.
This means he’s also the grandfather of Paris Jackson, the most prominent of Michael’s kids.
Joe was the manager of The Jackson 5 way back in the day, overseeing the group that made Michael into an icon via a rather heavy and scandal-filled hand.
He’s been accused on many occasions of abuse, infidelity and of fathering kids out of wedlock.
Specifically, Michael Jackson went on record before his own death of how Joe would force him to rehearse around the clock and how he was the victim of whippings and other forms of physical and emotional abuse.
Michael did also say that such strict parenting/managing contributed to his eventual success as an artist.
At this point, Joe is estranged from many of his sons and daughters.
A source close to Janet Jackson, for example, says that the star has been denied access to her father.
Joe’s daughter Joh’Vonnie Jackson, his sole child not with Katherine, has also reportedly not been allowed to see her father, despite their close relationship.
Joe does not want to be viewed in his current state, according to these reports.
His handlers have nee feuding with his family members over just who and who is not allowed inside Joe’s hospital room.
Jermaine confirms this account, saying that full access was really just granted on Thursday evening.
“No one knew what was going on – we shouldn’t have to beg, plead, and argue to see our own father, especially at a time like this,” he told the aforementioned British newspaper, adding:
“We have been hurting. We were not being told where he was and couldn’t get the full picture. Even from the doctor. My mother was worried sick.
“It’s what any family would want, but some people around him think they know better…and they don’t.”
