Joe Jackson: Hospitalized with Cancer, On Verge of Death
Joe Jackson has been hospitalized with terminal cancer.
And, according to multiple outlets, the father of Michael and Janet Jackson will almost certainly never go home again.
Those close to the Jackson patriarch tell TMZ that loved ones are rushing to Jackson’s side, hoping to say goodbye to the controversial figure prior to his passing.
Joe’s wife, Katherine, is reportedly at the hospital and she has been joined there so far by a handful of kids and grandkids.
“Joe is going to die any day,” an insider says simply to Radar Online, adding of his wife:“Katherine doesn’t think he will live until Monday.”
This same source says Joe’s relatives “are already planning his funeral,” saying that Joe has made his wishes well known:
“Joe wants to be buried next to Michael. So he’ll be laid to rest in the mausoleum, and so will Katherine.
“The Jacksons have already bought multiple plots at Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles, have spoken to police and arranged car services.”
Joe’s health has been in decline now for a number of years, as he suffered a stroke in 2015 and has also been diagnosed with an aggressive form of colon cancer.
“He’s very very frail, he doesn’t have long,” Jermaine Jackson told The Daily Mail this morning. “The family needs to be by his bedside – that’s our only intention in his final days.”
Jackson, of course, is the father of the late Michael Jackson, as well as singer Janet Jackson and nine other kids.
This means he’s also the grandfather of Paris Jackson, the most prominent of Michael’s kids.
Joe was the manager of The Jackson 5 way back in the day, overseeing the group that made Michael into an icon via a rather heavy and scandal-filled hand.
He’s been accused on many occasions of abuse, infidelity and of fathering kids out of wedlock.
Specifically, Michael Jackson went on record before his own death of how Joe would force him to rehearse around the clock and how he was the victim of whippings and other forms of physical and emotional abuse.
Michael did also say that such strict parenting/managing contributed to his eventual success as an artist.
At this point, Joe is estranged from many of his sons and daughters.
A source close to Janet Jackson, for example, says that the star has been denied access to her father.
Joe’s daughter Joh’Vonnie Jackson, his sole child not with Katherine, has also reportedly not been allowed to see her father, despite their close relationship.
Joe does not want to be viewed in his current state, according to these reports.
His handlers have nee feuding with his family members over just who and who is not allowed inside Joe’s hospital room.
Jermaine confirms this account, saying that full access was really just granted on Thursday evening.
“No one knew what was going on – we shouldn’t have to beg, plead, and argue to see our own father, especially at a time like this,” he told the aforementioned British newspaper, adding:
“We have been hurting. We were not being told where he was and couldn’t get the full picture. Even from the doctor. My mother was worried sick.
“It’s what any family would want, but some people around him think they know better…and they don’t.”
Joe Jackson is 89 years old.

Tyler Baltierra: On the Verge of a Breakdown Himself?!
If you keep up with all the latest Teen Mom gossip, then you know that things have been rough for our favorite middle school sweethearts.
And they’ve been tough for a good while now, too.
In November, Catelynn Lowell revealed that she’d been suffering from suicidal thoughts, and that she’d be checking into a treatment center in Arizona to get help.
She checked herself out early before Christmas because she reportedly felt guilty for being away from her family for the holidays, but it didn’t last — she returned pretty much immediately after leaving.
In late December, she finished her treatment and returned home, but just a few weeks later, she returned for another six weeks of therapy.
She’s been there about four weeks so far, and there’s been no definite word on when she’ll come home this time.
It’s absolutely heartbreaking to know that Catelynn is going through such a hard time, but as the weeks go on, it’s becoming clear that Tyler doesn’t exactly have it easy himself.
He’s been staying in Michigan with their daughter, Nova, and running their clothing business on his own while Catelynn gets the help she needs, and it really seems like he’s running himself ragged.
Last month, he tweeted “I just don’t know if I can do this anymore,” and the next day he revealed that he was getting therapy, too.
“I’m doing a little self care today, you know what I mean?” he explained. “Sometimes you gotta put yourself ahead of other people sometimes in life.”
Since then, he’s posted a few videos that show how much he’s struggling, including one in which he openly cried about his situation.
And sadly, it looks like things still aren’t getting better for him.
In a series of videos he shared on Snapchat over the weekend, Tyler gave a little rundown of his plans for the day, and it was obvious that he was struggling.
“So I literally got to get all these Tierra Reign orders in the poly mailers and then I got to take them to the post office before they close,” he said.
“And then I have to finish this laundry and then I have to pack our bags for a week — my bag and Nova’s bag.”
He has to pack the bags, he says, because “I’m off to Arizona for Cate’s family week program at her facility.”
“It’s going to be a super, super long emotional week and a pretty long day,” he explained. “Yippee.”
He added that “I literally have all those things to do and I just don’t have the energy for it but I have to do it because if I don’t do it, it won’t get done, like usual. What’s new?”
It sounds like Tyler is really and truly exhausted from dealing with all of this, right?
He’s had this certain tone lately that makes it seem like he’s a little bit resentful of Catelynn for being away for so long, which is understandable, but also pretty upsetting.
Unfortunately for Tyler, things may be upsetting for the foreseeable future.
According to a report from Us Weekly, Catelynn is set to leave rehab at the end of this month, but the reunion special for this season of Teen Mom OG is filming in the first weekend of March.
“The reunions are always extremely emotional and grueling,” the source says, and for that reason, Catelynn might skip it altogether.
“Catelynn’s appearance is still very much up in the air and will be determined much closer to the date, even as late as the day before,” the source explains.
“Her treatment team will decide if she should go.”
If she didn’t end up going, that’s definitely fair, and it makes total sense — she’s obviously going through a lot right now, and she doesn’t need to risk her wellbeing for some reality show nonsense.
But if she doesn’t, we’d have to imagine that Tyler will have to show up in her place so that the Baltierras are represented.
And really, he has enough on his plate already.

Kate Gosselin: Going Broke? On Verge of Losing Kids?
According to a new report, Kate Gosselin is not enjoying a very merry Christmas.
And she may have an even worse new year.
The mother of eight (that’s still so very hard to believe… she’s a mother of EIGHT!) is allegedly suffering through some pretty severe financial hardships.
She somehow managed to convince TLC to air a new season of Kate Plus 8 this past year, but only three episodes aired over the summer.
Moreover, Gosselin does not have anywhere near the clout she once possessed.
Ratings haven’t been strong for that program for years now, meaning she couldn’t command a very high salary during recent negotiations.
Those three episodes didn’t yield Gosselin much in the way of revenue – and there are no plans, as far as we know, for any more to hit the air.
Don’t just take our word for these issues, however.
Their parents may suck, but these kids are adorable. We pray for their future.
This is what an insider recently told Life & Style:
“Kate no longer has the income she once had from the show. The money is running out fast …. Private school alone costs about $ 150,000 a year.”
Seriously, simply raising eight kids is a very expensive endeavor.
Many fans of the reality star likely aren’t even aware that Gosselin used to work as a nurse.
This has the potential to be a highly-paid occupation, but there’s one problem:
“She’s let her nursing license lapse,” the aforementioned source explains. “And she hasn’t been a nurse in so long anyway.
Not having enough money to afford basic needs for her kids is one thing; but Gosselin also now fears that her monetary situation will open the door to her actually losing her kids.
“That’s Kate’s biggest fear,” the unnamed insider alleges. “She dreads Jon will have more say and possibly even more custody which she’s fought nonstop to keep from him.”
Annoying ex-husband Jon is reportedly ready to pounce.
Said someone with knowledge of the circumstances to Hollywood Life in November:
“Jon’s one and only goal in life right now is getting more time with his kids. He’s doing everything he can to win their next custody battle.”
Indeed, things may soon get very explosive between the Gosselins.
It’s not as though they’re known for resolving disputes in an amicable and peaceful manner regardless of what’s at stake.
So you can imagine how ugly it may get when the future of their sons and daughters are up for legal debate.
Earlier this year, Jon took an IT job. He now has a steady flow of income.
Combined with Kate going in the opposite financial direction, the estranged former spouses may find themselves standing across from a judge at some point in the near future.
And, as previously reported, Jon will stop at nothing to crush his ex in court.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians on Verge of Collapse as Ratings Continue to Tank
Keeping Up With the Kardashians is bleeding viewers and again causing increased speculation that this season may indeed be its last.
The issue: After an unimpressive ratings start to Season 13, Kris Jenner’s E! baby has yet to get the numbers moving in the right direction.
Once a consistent viewership juggernaut, the latest installment of the Sunday night staple hit a new low in the ratings this past weekend.
According to Nielsen, only 1.41 million viewers tuned in to the show, a significant drop from the previous episode and the one before.
Not that those weeks posted impressive numbers, either.
The first two shows of Season 13 had 1.48 million and 1.58 million, respectively, so the drop to 1.41 signaled yet another tough outing.
“This sucks,” a source close to production commented.
Especially given the buzz around these weeks, “these were big episodes and they were supposed to bring in big numbers. This is bad.”
If Kim’s robbery and aftermath can’t save it, what can?
The show and its niche audience has never received massive overall ratings, but it always performed well in the crucial 18-49 demographic.
Now its performance is suspect even there.
Making matters worse is the fact that KUWTK is more expensive than ever to produce as overhead (read: salaries, security) escalates.
The shifting landscape of TV hasn’t helped.
When the show premiered a decade ago, there simply wasn’t as much competition in the reality TV genre, or on basic cable in general.
The Kardashians, ironically, have struggled to … keep up with the trends in the industry, and coupled with over-saturation and fatigue?
It’s a recipe for disaster for Kris Jenner.
Yes, Kris is fighting to save the show from cancelation, but are there just too many head winds for the Momager to overcome at this point?
Perhaps the biggest obstacle? Fan boredom.
Viewers took to Twitter to rant about the reality show and its recent plot lines, with more than a few calling for it to be canceled ASAP.
“#IHaveBeenThinkingAnd I think the network needs to cancel #KUWTK it’s just no use to anyone anymore…” one Keeping Up wrote.
The Jenners and Kardashians are indeed increasingly worried about their futures on reality TV … or after reality TV, to be more specific.
Says another source close to the situation:
“The entire family is completely freaking out right now. They would not know what they would do with themselves if the show got canceled.”

Selena Gomez: On The Verge Of a Mental Breakdown?
Friends fear for Selena Gomez’s emotional well-being after witnessing her recent behavior.
“She has been having breakdowns and is rethinking her entire music career and life path right now,” a friend of Selena’s told Life & Style Magazine.
Another source claims that the singer “is in a very, very bad place mentally.
“She’s totally spiraling downward. She’s been so unhappy and has been drinking and partying too much to cope,” the friend added.
Selena has reportedly complained of feeling “overwhelmed” and “exhausted,” and told her team “she wanted to quit the tour and cancel dates.
Selena started to show signs of distress at a concert in Indonesia the weekend of July 23rd, where she broke down on stage (she had turned 24 on July 22nd). This show was particularly significant, as it kicked off her Revival tour.
Before performing her single, “Kill ‘Em With Kindness,” Selena got candid with the crowds.
“The next song before I go home, is a song that’s so important to me, because I get really frustrated,” she told fans from the stage.
“I get stupid sometimes,” she continued.
“I say things that I don’t mean, or that come out wrong, just because I care so badly.
“Truth is the last thing we need right now is hate, in any form. But the thing is, at the end of the day, no war in anger was ever won,” Selena said, possibly referencing her friend, Taylor Swift’s feud with Kim Kardashian.
“I do know that deep down in my heart, that I have to believe that we can love each other and always be kind, no matter what it takes.
“I believe that we can do that, no matter what.”
After, she posted a cryptic Instagram, which she later deleted.
Since the tweet, Selena has only posted positive moments on social media. We’re rooting for the little spark plug and hope she takes care of herself.
