Tekashi 6ix9ine Pistol-Whipped, Robbed, Basically Left for Dead
Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, who sometimes goes by the simple moniker of 6ix9ine, was brutally beaten to near-death very early on Sunday morning.
Be warned: the photo down below of the star is not for the faint of heart.
According to TMZ, Tekashi completed filming a music video around 4 a.m. in Brooklyn and then drove home.
Upon arrival, however, three hooded gunmen emerged from a car that had been blocking his driveway and knocked the artist out with their guns.
The thieves tossed 6ix9ine in their car and waited until he regained consciousness.
At this point, they threatned to kill him if he did not hand over his jewelry and money.
Tekashi agreed and remained behind with one of the mugger while the other two proceeded to raid his home. (Sources say Tekashi’s baby mama and child were inside at the time, but were not harmed.)
All told, the gunmen stole approximately $ 750,000 in jewelry and around $ 20,000 in cash.
TMZ reports that the men continued to drive around with 6ix9ine in their car, only for him to finagle his way out and eventually plead for help from a stranger passing by.
This person called 911 and 6ix9ine was hospitalized for his very serious injuries.
The Associated Press has confirmed with the New York Police Department that 6ix9ine alleged he was forced from the car he was riding in around 4:30 a.m.
But he tells a different version of events from the story written out above.
6ix9ine says the men had him call someone to bring personal property to the scene, where they took an “undisclosed amount of jewelry” from the star and then left.
The AP goes on to say that 6ix9ine became “uncooperative” with authorities once he filed his report.
Moreover, there’s no mention in this police report of the rapper seeking medical attention or being treated for any injuries following the event.
Per a follow-up TMZ story, Tekashi claims he drove himself to the hospital and nothing about this was nearly as dramatic as the site initially claimed.
Could this version of events be accurate? Sure.
Could Tekashi also be covering up for what really transpired because he has a reputation of being tough and hard to protect? Absolutely.
We’ll let our readers decide which version they believe.
But there’s no sugar-coating that hospital photo above, dude. Yikes.

Kim Kardashian: Robbed Again, Not Handling It Well

It really, truly seems like, at least when it comes to getting robbed, the girl just can’t catch a break.
It’s been a year now since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, an ordeal that clearly traumatized her.
After that night, Kim made a whole lot of changes is nearly every aspect of her life: she cut back on things she shared on social media, and she also cut back on her material possessions.
She’s said that the robbery made her appreciate the things that are important in life, and as strange as it may seem, money and all the things it can buy really just aren’t so important to her anymore.
But even though she’s changed so much, she’s obviously still very, very wealthy.
And even though her wealth isn’t as big a part of her life as it once was, it still makes her a target for criminals.
That’s why, early yesterday morning, a man tried to pull off another robbery at her Bel Air home.
Around 4:00 on Friday morning, this guy went through several cars parked at the bottom of Kim’s driveway, and he came away with an iPhone that belonged to someone on her staff.
He may have intended to get more of a haul in their actual house, but we’ll never know — armed security guards approached him after he got into the cars, and he ran.
An arrest hasn’t been made yet, but police are searching for him, and they know exactly what he looks like, thanks to a clear shot from Kim’s security cameras.
All in all, this robbery wasn’t nearly as serious as the one Kim experienced in Paris.
There’s a very good chance she wasn’t even aware anything happened until well after the fact.
Unfortunately, it sounds like she’s still pretty shaken by what happened.
According to a source who spoke with Hollywood Life, “Kim is dealing with pretty severe anxiety right now.”
Which, hey, understandable.
“This ended well and everyone is safe,” the source explained, “but it’s triggered her PTSD. She’s experiencing the trauma from the Paris attack all over again.”
“If this had happened a few years ago it would have been upsetting but it wouldn’t have triggered her this badly.”
Poor Kim “already has so much trouble sleeping at night, worrying about someone breaking in and this has just confirmed her worst fears.”
“People are circling, trying to get at her and her family.”
That seems a little dark, but it easy to imagine why she might feel this way.
“Yes, her security can handle this and the guy never actually got in the house,” the insider acknowledges, “but that hasn’t stopped her from imagining the worst; it’s traumatic.”
We bet it is.
Hopefully the man who did this will be found soon, and hopefully Kim can start feeling more secure even sooner.

Kim Kardashian: Being Robbed in Paris Changed EVERYTHING
Kim Kardashian appeared on The View for the first time in 5 years, and she talked about her strained relationship with Caitlyn Jenner.
But after half a decade, she had a lot more to discuss — including her lifestyle and her family, and how everything"s changed since the robbery.
One of the keys to being a businesswoman is turning every disadvantage into an advantage.
Apparently, Kim is applying this even to personal trauma.
Because she"s using having been robbed and fearing for her life to change things about her life.
"I think in life, things happen to you for a reason and you really do have to pay attention and I got the message."
That can be a dangerous point of view.
And a horrible thing to say to someone else who"s just had a horrible experience.
But a lot of people believe that, and it looks like Kim"s one of them.
"I just learned so much and something had to change just of how I live my life."
A lot of people reprioritize after a traumatic experience, especially one that they believed would claim their lives.
"The things that were important to me before and the things I liked to show off before are definitely not the things I like to show off now."
One of those, of course, being sharing her location to the world.
A lot of us do that without thinking.
"Having dinner with" and then tagging your friends" Twitter handles is an innocuous way of keeping friends updated on your life.
But if someone wanted to break into your home, they"d want to keep an eye on your tweets for just such an opportunity.
For most of us, it wouldn"t be worth the effort.
Kim, on the other hand, has obscene amounts of money and some very expensive clothing and jewelry to go with it.
Being robbed wasn"t her fault, but it"s a reminder to all of us to be careful with who knows what.
Make sure that you"re not the easiest target and they"ll rob somebody else, basically.
She"s now terrified to let her kids grow up on social media.
A lot of parents have that fear, and it"s usually misplaced.
In Kim"s case, she"s concerned because her children are famous.
Non-celebrity young people might be bullied by peers, not harassed by literally thousands of trolls who are looking to feel powerful by making a famous person sad.
Even Kim, an adult, isn"t immune.
"I do break down at times… It"s not ok for people to be saying these awful things."
And one of the things that made her conscious of this and how it would impact her children was the Paris robbery, when people on social media suggested that she had faked the horrible event.
"For us to just have these people that have all this keyboard courage to write the craziest things about you and to think that that"s ok and it"s not ok."
You know, keyboard courage is a good term. And for sure an insult.
If you tweet something at someone, it should always be something that you would say to their face.
Overall, being robbed as she was is very nearly a worst-case scenario in terms of the bad things that happen because of fame.
So while it"s good to take some lessons to heart, you also need to take some of this with a grain of salt.
Hopefully, by the time that North is 13 — the age of being old enough to use social media is still 9 years away — Kim will have struck a balance.
Being rich and famous has its cost, but we"d for sure want North to be able to interact with her peers.
