Groundhog Day 2016 Prediction: NO SHADOW! Early Spring to Come, Punxsutawney Phil Declares!

Groundhog Day 2016 is upon us again, and the forecast is in from the Weather Capitol of the World, a.k.a. Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

Today marked that magical, annual moment when Punxsutawney Phil emerges from Gobbler’s Knob to answer the million-dollar question …

Will we have to endure six more weeks of snow, wind, ice and other winter fun before spring arrives? Or will our reprieve come ASAP?

Only Punxsutawney Phil and his shadow can say with clarity.

And he has done so, just moments ago. The verdict:

NO SHADOW! Early Spring is coming, baby!!!!!!!!!

Phil, who emerged from his burrow moments ago to find conditions not bright enough to see his shadow in Western Pa., has spoken.

According to folklore, this is all we need to know.

The appearance of Phil’s shadow, which has been sighted 101 times since 1887, means winter will carry on as per usual in N. America.

When Phil does not peep it, spring comes early.

Such was the case today, as the prognosticator “told” this to the president of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club, Bill Deeley, at 7:20 a.m.

As to whether scientists agree? The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration believes that Phil’s accuracy is marginal at best.

NOAA’s October predictions for America’s winter included colder and wetter than normal conditions for the Southeastern U.S. in 2016.

Mild weather in the West and warmer weather in the Midwest and Northeast have been the norm this year so far, though. So stay tuned.

The accuracy of the venerable, meteorologically inclined rodent’s prediction is secondary, of course, to the true meaning of Groundhog Day.

Which is … we have no earthly idea honestly.

It’s basically just a silly, light-hearted reason to get out there and appreciate the wondrous power, mystery and majesty of nature.

And recite Groundhog Day quotes, because obviously. And no matter what, 2/2 is the mid-point between the winter solstice and spring equinox.

So at worst, winter is still half over.

Demi Lovato: No Makeup on These Mondays!

Demi Lovato is wearing some sexy attire these days, and you better not have a problem with that.

But the singer also remains dedicated to being a role model… to setting a positive example to young women everywhere… to going all natural on No Makeup Mondays.

As you can see above, the singer shared a sweaty selfie right on schedule for this hashtag-based occasion yesterday, puckering up in a sauna suit at the gym.

“Happy #NMM!!! Sweaty kisses for my #Lovatics while wearing my sauna suit in the gym,” Demi wrote as a caption, adding:

“Show me your butt naked faces and show me how #DevonneByDemi works for you!!!”

Yes, she got a shoutout to her makeup line in there, too. Kim Kardashian would be proud.

Lovato, one of our favorite celebrities due to her emphasis on inner beauty, is always sure to post makeup-free selfies to kick off each week:

Lovato may have struggled with self-esteem issues many years ago, to such an extent that she had a drug addiction and an eating disorder.

But she recently told Allure Magazine that she’s never felt better about herself:

“I’ve never felt as confident in my skin as I do today.

“A year ago, on tour, almost every inch of my body was covered by clothing … Once I started feeling better about myself, I felt better about showing more skin.”

That’s what we like to hear!

Beyonce & Jay Z: Working on Post-Nuptial Agreement Ahead of Divorce?

Rumors of Beyonce and Jay Z getting divorced have been circulating for about as long the A-list couple has been married.

Obviously, they’ve all turned out to be bogus thus far, but that doesn’t mean the Carters don’t want to be prepared in the event that they do eventually call it quits.

Several media outlets are now reporting that Jay and Beyonce are working on a “post-nuptial” agreement. The rich are different than you and me:

“They have a pre-nuptial agreement already in place, but so much has happened in terms of their empire that it’s needed updating for some time,” says one insider.

“When they went through their roughest period last year, they both agreed it was time to re-clarify certain aspects of their agreement, but it’s taken months to go through all their assets with a fine-tooth comb.”

Yes, it seems like even Jay and Bey were shook by all that talk of $ 1 billion divorces.

Some have gone so far as to suggest that this is the first sign that a split is on the way. We wouldn’t go quite that far.

The bad news is that it means these two have considered divorce as a very real possibility.

The good news is, having to draft a second prenup because you’re bringing in so much cheddar might be the most baller thing in the history of marriage.

Rob Kardashian To His Family: Blac Chyna"s Not Going ANYWHERE!

This may be the greatest Kardashian production of all time (sorry Kim).

America’s favorite new couple, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, are so in love that he drove from Los Angeles to Austin to rescue his beloved after her January 29th arrest for public intoxication and drug possession. 

“What scares the family the most right now is the fact that Blac Chyna was caught with drugs, because that means that there is a chance that Rob is still doing them,” a source told Radar Online. 

Love is blind, though. 

“Rob’s fallen hard for her and he’s not going anywhere!” the sour added.

“There is nothing that anyone in the family could say that would make Rob stop seeing Blac right now.  He has not felt this way about anyone in such a long time and he thinks that he is actually falling in love with her.”

Before Chyna’s January 29th arrest, Kris Jenner reportedly paid her and Rob a visit to talk about an appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.  

“Blac Chyna had everyone convinced that she was this angel sent in to save Rob from his evil family. But her gig is up now,” the source helpfully pointed out.

“The Kardashians are just beyond happy right now because they feel like Blac Chyna just got the karma that she deserved.”

They might consider this karma, but Kardashian saw it as an opportunity to rescue his girl. 

“Rob knows that people think she is using him to try and get back and Kylie and Tyga,” the source said, referring to Chyna’s ex and baby daddy.

“But Rob just thinks that is total BS and said that Kylie and Tyga need to just grow up because Blac Chyna is not going anywhere.”

For his part, Tyga wished both Kardashian and Chyna well.

“Everybody deserves to be happy,” Tyga said in a video obtained by E! News last week.

Last night, Chyna shared an Instagram video from an event attended by good friend, Amber Rose.  

Rose Instagram’d a photo of herself with Kim Kardashian wearing the same exact outfit from Chyna’s Instagram, leading us to believe that all three women were at the same event.

Call it hatchet-burying.  Call it a PR stunt.  Any way you slice it, this is just weird.
