Leah Messer and Corey Simms: On GREAT Terms with Kids, Each Other!

Despite reports that Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer “won” custody of her twins from Corey Simms, insiders say it was a mutual decision.

Moreover, the former spouses reached an agreement without any input from a judge, and are said to be on much better terms lately.

As we reported last week, Leah Messer and Corey Simms struck a deal last week regarding custody of the couple’s twin daughters.

Given the contentious history between them – if you watch Teen Mom 2 online, you are well aware of it – this was billed as a “win” for Leah.

Yet it wasn’t quite like that – and that’s a good thing for all involved.

Both parties “were told that they had a few minutes to figure the situation out on their own,” a source close to Simms says, and they did just that.

“The judge then left the room and allowed them to talk alone.”

Messer, 23, and Simms, 26, the parents of 6-year-olds Ali and Aleeah, spoke “very civilly” and agreed to share custody of their daughters.

“The judge only signed off on the settlement,” the source insists, adding that when it came to Leah’s custody, “He didn’t order anything.”

Now, Simms and his wife, Miranda Patterson, are dedicated to remaining on good terms with his ex-wife after years of public feuding.

Corey and Miranda, who are parents to a baby daughter, Remington, have accused Leah of abusing drugs while parenting their children.

Messer went to rehab last year for what MTV described as anxiety and depression (and subsequently divorced Jeremy Calvert).

Time, and treatment have apparently healed this rift.

Simms and Messer have agreed to abide by a shared plan, splitting custody of the twin girls almost equally, and co-parenting together.

For all the reunion show squabbling, cheating accusations and shade-throwing on Twitter, it looks like they’re all in a very good place.

“Corey and Miranda think Leah is doing much better now, which makes it easier for them to get along with her,” the insider explains.

“They’re praying Leah stays on a good path … Corey never wanted to take the girls away from … he felt it was in the girls’ best interest.”

Anna Duggar Defends Decision to Continue Homeschooling Children

After avoiding the spotlight for several months following the Josh Duggar sex scandals, Anna Duggar has been speaking out and sharing her thoughts on what she describes as the most difficult year of her life.

Last week, Anna broke her silence with a blog post in which she described her visits with Josh while he was in rehab.

(The post conspicuously did not address the rumors that Josh got Anna pregnant on one of those visits.)

Yesterday, Anna spoke out once again, this time in an interview for the official Duggar family’s official website.

In her latest remarks, Anna did not directly address the topic of her husband’s indiscretions, but as with everything she says these days, her comments are being interpreted in the context of Josh’s ongoing scandals.

The interview focused primarily on Anna’s decision to continue homeschooling her kids.

At one point, the mother of four revealed that despite rumors to the contrary, she has received some formal training as an educator:

“After high school, I did an online Christian college program in early child education, but what has helped me the most has been taking advice from my mom, my mother-in-law, and other homeschooling veterans,” Anna said.

“It’s great to learn from other women who are further down the road. I find women with teenage children who love the Lord or grandchildren who love the Lord, and I seek to learn from them.

“It’s also important to realize that just because something worked for one family, that doesn’t mean it’s going to work for you.”

As we said, Anna isn’t directly addressing her family’s recent legal and public relations troubles here, but she does seem to be indirectly addressing the question of whether or not she and Josh will continue to homeschool their children.

As several commenters have pointed out on the Duggars’ facebook page, both parents are currently unemployed, so they may as well stick with the program!

Kylie Jenner: I WILL Marry Tyga!

These days, it’s incredibly hard to tell what’s going on with Kylie Jenner and Tyga (or “Kyga,” as the kids call them).

Last week, it looked as though Kylie and Tyga were 100% dunz-o. Tyga even bought a new home more than an hour’s drive away from Kylie’s Calabasas crib.

Just a day later, however, Kylie and Tyga were spotted clubbing together in West Hollywood.

Then yesterday, it was reported that Kyga is back and better than ever, having been brought together by the fallout from Rob Kardashian’s relationship with Blac Chyna.

Like we said, it’s all very confusing – but Kylie may have cleared things up with one word last night.

While walking to her car after an event, Kylizzle was approached by a TMZ paparazzo who asked her point blank if she plans to marry Tyga. 

Kylie’s response? A simple “yes.”

It doesn’t get any more clear than that, folks.

It seems the wealthy, wildly popular 18-year-old is still planning to throw her life away make it legal with the 26-year-old D-list rapper who broke his engagement with his baby mama in order to have illegal sex with a high school student.

Good news for Tyga – not so great news for Kylie’s bank account, future, family, etc.
