The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: We Talked it Out

We hope you’re sitting down, because (wait for it) The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 10 featured plenty of tension.

Absolutely astonishing, we know. Let’s get into it, THGers …

On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 10, Kyle and Lisa V. planned a burlesque-themed joint anniversary soiree.

Faye Resnick was on Kyle Richards’ guest list though, and if you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online with any regularity …

Well, you know that’s going to be a controversial move.

Kyle got angry at Kathryn for speaking out against Faye as well, so really, Resnick is never more than one degree away from drama.

Perhaps most significantly, though, Lisa Rinna felt it was time to clear the air regarding Munchhausen’s disease and Yolanda Foster.

Oh yes: Rinna sat down with her co-star and copped to the fact that she “engaged” in “outside chatter” about Foster and her illness.

Such as: Were Foster’s Instagram posts appropriate if she’s ailing? Was she even really sick or is Yolanda Foster faking Lyme disease?

You know. Standard gossip. Rinna also mentioned that there was talk of Munchausen syndrome, which Foster knew nothing about.

It was all very confusing and off-putting, but Rinna, who is “not super comfortable” around Foster, did apologize for her role in all this.

Sort of. She also left the door open to more drama.

The cop-out apology clearly didn’t make Yolanda feel entirely at ease, or at all at ease, as she called Rinna “despicable” at the party.

Foster lamented in a statement that sums it all up:

“Who in the world has three years to fake being sick? I wish they would use the energy they’re wasting talking about me to come take care of me.”

Yes, but that would make her RHOBH co-stars entirely too logical, compassionate, considerable, selfness and most of all, human.

Not sure some or any of them qualify TBH.

Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 5 Recap: Can Abby Lee Miller Be Replaced?

Tension reached its all-time pinnacle on Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 5 – which is saying something for this show – last night on Lifetime.

That’s because Abby literally locked her team the f–k out.

If you watch Dance Moms online, then you’ve been following the saga of Abby Lee Miller’s bankruptcy case and subsequent meltdowns.

One of which caused her to “abandon” the team last week.

Well, fast forward to last night and the moms are gossiping in the parking lot, talking about how she won’t let the team use her studio.

Miller “literally” lives there, according to Jill Vertes.

It doesn’t really make a lot of sense, since despite the fact that she supposedly didn’t want them in her studio, using her name is okay?

We know Abby Lee Miller lied about quitting and that Dance Moms is the most fake show on reality TV, but this is just getting preposterous.

Anyway, the kids showed up to dance, until Holly Frazier realized hers was nowhere to be found and took off running to go find her.

Nia Frazier, it turns out, was so upset about some negative reactions to a video she posted on social media, so how did Holly respond?

By talking about the stress of how Abby wasn’t there, just to keep up the narrative, even though Nia never linked Miller with any bullying.

If we’re expected to believe that the stress of Abby being gone is what’s really bothering Nia in some tangential way, we’re tuning out.

Honestly, you’re better than this, Dance Moms. Get it together.

Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Episode 14 Recap: Over His Dead Body

Charlotte DiLaurentis will walk the streets over my dead body.

So uttered Aria’s father on Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Episode 14, prompting one of our heroines to have homicidal thoughts about her very own parent.

Did he actually do it? No way, right?

All we know at the moment is that he ran into Ezra on the evening Charlotte disappeared – and also that he’s desperate to keep Aria’s ex-boyfriend quiet.

Oh, and… well… his nine-iron is missing.

But still. No way, right?!?

Spencer and Caleb, meanwhile, each looked for Toby’s blessing regarding their new romance and it was nice to see the show veer in a mature direction with this relationship.

Toby was pretty much fine with his best friend hooking up with his ex-girlfriend.

Perhaps he could see what viewers have seen for weeks now when they watch Pretty Little Liars online or on television: the chemistry between Spencer and Caleb is undeniable.

It’s also adorable. Case in point:Wen she told him “last night was perfect” and he responded with a sheepish giggle.

Toby has another reason to give this couple his blessing, too.Her name is Yvonne and she’s the daughter of Spencer’s mother’s political enemy. Naturally, right?

She’s very easy to like and Spencer saw Toby carrying an engagement ring around Radley.

Elsewhere:

  • After opening up to Ashley about deleting some of Radley’s security footage to protect Aria, Hanna found herself facing the possiiblity of jail time.

  • That is, until the back-up footage just happened to go missing. (Well played, Ashley.)

  • Things were going well between Emily and Sabrina… until the latter realized tat Emily was just stalling while Aria snuck into Ezra’s apartment to find out if he murdered Charlotte.

That’s enough to ruin any relationship, isn’t it?

Lady Gaga to Sing National Anthem Before Super Bowl 50

Lady Gaga ended 2015 on quite a high note, winning rave reviews – along with a Golden Globe – for her role on American Horror Story: Hotel.

And now the singer’s 2016 is off to an impressive start as well.

She will sing the national anthem this Sunday in Santa Clara, prior to Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.

Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin, meanwhile, will perform in American Sign Language during this rendition of the country’s theme song.

With this honor, Lady Gaga joins an impressive rundown of artists who have opened the most-watched sporting event on the planet with a nod to their nation.

Idina Menzel did the honors in 2015, while past stars who have belted out the track at the Super Bowl have included Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood.

We wish, of course, that Lady Gaga was instead performing at halftime of the game.

Instead, viewers and attendees will be subjected to Coldplay, although the band is at least expected to include such guests as Beyonce in its halftime set.
