Kenya Moore: Fired and Replaced by Marlo Hampton?!

Reports say that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore is fired because, essentially, her pregnancy timeline doesn’t fit the filming schedule. Among other things.

That has yet to be confirmed, and Kenya had dismissed stories of her firing as “fake news.”

But a new report says that not only has Kenya been given the boot, but we already know her replacement.

RadarOnline reports that one of their The Real Housewives of Atlanta insiders says that Kenya Moore has been fired and replaced.

“Marlo is the front runner for Kenya’s slot,” this source reports.

We already know that Marlo Hampton has been filming with the other stars.

Marlo is a familiar face, and apparently “she’s been told they would love her to have a peach.”

By which they of course mean that they’d like for her to be a full-time Real Housewife. That can be a real game-changer.

Of course, that peach is contingent upon “if she’s able to deliver the drama this summer!” the insider reports.

The source goes on to reveal that Kenya was demoted to a part-time “friend” of the Housewives, but sees it as an insult.

“Her pride won’t allow her to be part-time,” the insider says.

That’s understandable. She’s been one of the show’s stars. It’s hard to go back to playing second fiddle.

The source describes Kenya’s views: “She wants to be a full-time housewife or nothing.”

This production source also says that the show is moving in a new direction.

“The theme of this season,” the insider dishes. “Is ‘new beginnings.’”

That sounds more like a motif than a theme, but let’s not split hairs.

Showrunners don’t just want to rehash recent drama, the source says, “and they want to return to bolder, edgier, and classier storylines and trips this year.”

It sounds like producers have lost interest in Kenya as a star.

“They don’t want Kenya anymore,” the insider claims.

Kenya still has fans, but sometimes, things like her reluctance to film with her husband last season come into play.

And then, as we mentioned, Kenya’s pregnancy drama reportedly doesn’t work with the filming schedule. She is due towards the end of the year.

“This season,” the insider says. “Is about just the core characters and their families.”

And while it might sound like pregnant and newly married Kenya would be a perfect fit, the source reports: “that doesn’t include Kenya.”

Astoundingly, a different source — this one reportedly close to Moore — says that she doesn’t really mind leaving the show.

“Kenya doesn’t want to be on RHOA anymore,” the insider says.

That is interesting, since Kenya silenced trolls with a baby bump photo and went on to say that stories about her being fired were every bit as fake as stories about her pregnancy being fake.

“Truth is,” the source says. “She’s got so much else going on in her life and she’s about to have a baby with the love of her life.”

She’s so busy that she doesn’t want that sweet, sweet Real Housewives paycheck? Wow.

“Unlike the other girls,” the insider says shadily. “The show is all they have.”

That seems a little unfair, but that’s what we’d expect from a source close to Kenya, we suppose.

The source says: “Kenya feels like she’s outgrown the drama and believes she’s bigger than the pettiness of the show.”

Reports say that Kenya has been fired or demoted or both, and Kenya has strongly implied that these are fake stories.

In fact, Kenya’s most recent photo on Instagram is of her with fellow Real Housewife, Kandi.

So … what is the truth?

It may be that producers and Kenya are all weighing their options and will reach a decision soon.

Or maybe the clock has run out, and Kenya’s decisions have made that choice for her.

We’ll find out in due time.

Teen Mom OG Has Officially Replaced Farrah Abraham With ...

At long last, months and months after we learned that Farrah Abraham had been fired from Teen Mom OG, we finally have news that MTV has officially replaced her.

And the mom they picked … well, you’re not going to believe it.

Really, you’re not going to believe it, because it doesn’t make any sense.

It’s not Mackenzie McKee, even though she was the obvious choice, and we’d been hearing over and over again that she was going to be taking Farrah’s place.

It’s not any of the other Teen Mom 3 girls.

It’s not even someone from any of the seasons of 16 and Pregnant.

Nope, according to a new report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Cheyenne Floyd will be rounding out the Teen Mom OG cast going forward.

And if your only thought is “Who?”, then you’re not alone.

There’s a chance you may be familiar with Cheyenne though — she has appeared on other MTV reality shows like Are You the One? and The Challenge.

She’s 25 years old, and she shares a one-year-old daughter named Ryder with Cory Wharton, another cast member from The Challenge.

You don’t have to be great at math to realize that that means she was never a Teen Mom, but sure, MTV, great choice.

It’s going to be weird because not only is she going to ruin the “original girls” thing the show has going on now, and not only is she going to be unfamiliar to many, if not most viewers, but she’s also never had the experience of being a teen mom.

Which, you know, is what the entire show is supposed to be about.

Sure, things are different now that the OG cast members have been famous and pretty wealthy for several years, but still … it’s weird.

The Ashley says that while MTV was considering Mackenzie McKee or even Mackenzie Standifer, Ryan Edwards’ wife, for Farrah’s replacement, those options “fizzled out.”

A source claims that they “realizes that the fans weren’t going to be excited about either option. So they continued to look.”

If fans weren’t excited about either Mackenzie, they’re sure not going to be excited about Cheyenne though, right?

Even worse, the report states that Mackenzie McKee was “very interested” in joining the show — and you know it could have been helpful for her to have that MTV money to help with her mother’s medical bills.

But apparently it’s already a done deal, and MTV will start filming Cheyenne next week.

As a source explains, “It’s official. The only way this doesn’t happen is if Cheyenne or Cory backs out, but contracts have likely already been signed so it’s highly unlikely.”

Another source says that Cheyenne and Cory “have been playing up the ‘happy co-parents’ role” for a while now, ever since they were approached for the show.

However, “Their co-parenting relationship is nowhere near as happy as they try to make it out to be on social media. They will fit in perfectly on Teen Mom.”

So there it is.

Honestly, MTV shouldn’t have been so worried about replacing Farrah — many fans thought the show worked well with just Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood.

With all the Ryan Edwards drama, Amber’s new baby, and Catelynn’s mental health struggles, there was more than enough material to make for a good reality show.

Sure, some people might grow to enjoy Cheyenne, and there may be some people who tune in for the first time to watch her.

But several viewers are already complaining about the choice, and more than a few are already prepared to skip her scenes altogether.

MTV … why?

Farrah Abraham Reacts to Being Replaced By Mackenzie McKee!

Well, it’s official.

Mackenzie McKee is joining the cast of Teen Mom OG as the replacement for Farrah Abraham.

And not surprisingly, Farrah has thoughts on the subject.

“I wish them all the best with the show. I’m out on a high note. This is the longest season in history and I’m their biggest star,” Farrah told Us Weekly in an interview published Tuesday.

“I can do my own show, but I don’t want to focus on reality TV. I’m focusing on scripted opportunities but will always enjoy a good reality TV project.”

Yes, it seems Farrah has caught the acting bug.

Although it’s possible the “scripted opportunities” she’s referring to will involve her taking her clothes off.

As you may recall Farrah was fired by the show’s producers in connection with her refusal to stop performing live sex shows online.

“I don’t know what the show is doing,” she added when asked about the future of TMOG.

“You could take all the girls on all the series, but none can bring or do as much as I do for the series.”

Obviously, it’s not terribly surprising that Farrah seems unconcerned about her future.

Anyone who’s seen her heap verbal abuse on the show’s crew knows this is not a woman who’s worried about life after reality TV.

As for income, Farrah has a few prospects on the horizon.

For one thing, it seems she plans to continue doing online sex work for the Cam Soda company.

On top of that, she’s suing the makers of Teen Mom OG, alleging that she was unlawfully terminated from the show.

Farrah says she was “sex shamed” by the producers who decided to cut ties with her due to her continued work in the porn industry.

Attorneys for MTV and Viacom issued a statement on the matter earlier this week:

“We respect Farrah’s decision to pursue other endeavors and we wish her the best. Regarding her suit, the claims are without merit,” they wrote.

Watch Teen Mom OG online to relive Farrah’s many, many ridiculous moments.

She will be missed.

Kenya Moore: FIRED and Getting Replaced By Kim Zolciak?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is apparently due for a major shake-up.

Accusations claim that Kenya Moore faked an explosive meltdown to avoid getting fired, but it looks like it was all in vain.

Because she’s reportedly getting canned. And she’s going to hate who’s taking her place. Oh, wait — she already does.

Kenya Moore has been in hot water with producers and the network ever since her secret wedding to Marc Daly.

Imagine, if you will, that one of the stars of Finding Bigfoot actually found a bigfoot and just decided to keep it secret and didn’t tell anyone else or invite cameras along, and instead just kept their woodsy version of The Shape of Water quiet for a while.

Well, that’s the cryptozoological equivalent of what Kenya did.

She’s a reality star. The whole point of that is that major life events like weddings and children get documented for the cameras. She’s compensated as a The Real Housewives of Atlanta star with a huge paycheck.

Since her husband refuses to go on camera, she’s been keeping an entire facet of her life off of the camera.

RadarOnline reports that Kenye Moore is finally getting fired over her unseen husband.

According to their source:

“Kenya is not going to be back after she refused to let her husband be on the show.”

To be fair, though producers are understandably unhappy with Kenya, who literally signed up to be a reality star and share her life with the world, this isn’t entirely on her.

Marc Daly is the one who refuses to appear on the show. Kenya’s done her best to stay interesting enough to keep her peach, even storming out in a rage at a hurricane relief event.

But as much as Kenya’s likely to hate leaving, she’s going to hate her replacement even more.

According to RadarOnline‘s source, Kim Zolciak will be returning from “friend of the Housewives” status to being a full Housewife again.

“Kenya’s going to be replaced with Kim, who will most likely come back to the show as a full-time housewife and not just a friend.”

Earlier reports that Kim Zolciak was begging to return to RHOA indicate that Kim was probably delighted.

According to this source, their reason for inviting Kim back is because she’s a proven success.

“Viewers know Kim. And they want someone to mix it up with the ladies. Someone new like Kim Fields did not work.”

What’s more — Kim Zolciak isn’t shy about showing her whole, huge, family.

“Kim will easily step up the drama that Kenya refused to give”

From the outset, fans knew that Kenya Moore had to choose between her husband and her job.

As we mentioned, this all stems from Marc Daly’s refusal to let RHOA’s cameras film him.

His reason is apparently that he believes that The Real Housewives of Atlanta portrays black men in a negative light while portraying white men as better partners, husbands, and fathers.

He has a point — not only is a lot of reality television built around editing, but it’s not like Real Housewives are chosen as representative samples of communities. Producers can cherrypick, consciously or subconsciously.

And Marc Daly isn’t the only person who’s noticed this. Entire scholarly articles have been dedicated to the topic (yes, really), and on a broader level, many have observed that reality television tends to paint black people in particular in a negative light.

Of course, none of that explains why Marc Daly and Kenya Moore decided to tie the knot despite this.

As with any unconfirmed report, we should take this one with a grain of salt.

People have been wondering since last summer if Kenya Moore would get the boot over this. It’s no surprise that word is going around that she is, but right now, it’s not confirmed.

Similarly, Kim Zolciak is one of the most recognizable Housewives on RHOA, but that doesn’t mean that she’s actually coming back. Even though she really wants to.

A lot can change leading up to an announcement. Maybe Kenya — or Marc — will find a way to convince producers to let her stay on.

Arrow Season 6 Episode 2 Recap: Who Replaced Oliver as Green Arrow?!

Oliver Queen is officially hanging up his coat as the Green Arrow!

That much was confirmed on Arrow Season 6 Episode 2 after a damning picture of him as the vigilante was leaked to the media.

Naturally, Oliver took to city hall as Mayor to deny that he is associated with the Arrow. That was not enough to put the rumors to bed, so he then claimed that Bruce Wayne could be the person helping the mean streets of Star City.

This confirmed that Batman does exist in the CW DC TV universe, but could we be meeting Bruce before long? It would be a little too soon what with Gotham going strong on Fox, but it’s still fun to have some superhero name-dropping thrown in for good measure.

Oliver realized that he could kill two birds with one stone. William was struggling to connect with him because he felt like his father could disappear just as quickly as his mother did.

“I am going to do everything in my power, forever, to make sure that you never end up alone in this world,” Oliver said to William.

“And I know that you think that that’s not up to me — and that’s a fair, smart point — [but] I think I’ve found a way so that maybe it can be.”

The shocking development involved Oliver asking Diggle to take on the coveted role, and he did so with great pride. This was a big thing for Oliver to ask, and the person he knew who could become a solid vigilante is Diggle.

But, that’s also putting Diggle in the firing line, and he has a toddler to worry about. This is Arrow, so logic is generally thrown out the window for some shock value.

We also found out that shrapnel from the blast on Lian Yu left him with a neurological condition. How long will he really be able to continue his crime-fighting ways?

This could be yet another instance that Curtis comes in handy because he’s actually a very smart man.

In other events, Anatoly returned, and it became clear that his friendship with Oliver is well and truly over. Hey, that’s what happens when you go back on your word, Ollie!

Anatoly kidnapped a diplomat and held him for a $ 20 million ransom. This meant that SCPD’s rebuild was going to have to wait a little longer. Wouldn’t it make more sense to just move to a new office?

Logic!

Felicity was ready to launch a new company, and that meant she needed Curtis to join forces with her because, in the world of technology, he’s the ying to her yang.

Over to you!

What do you think of the show’s fresh new direction? How long will Diggle be the Green Arrow?

Sound off below!

Avril Lavigne Died in 2003, Was Replaced By Look-Alike, Hilarious Conspiracy Theory Claims

You may know Avril Lavigne as the Canadian Hot Topic aficionado who married the Nickelback guy and did a lot of unintentionally comedic sneering in the early 2000s.

But if you’re prone to believing social media conspiracy theories started by people with names like @givenchyass, then you’ll soon think of the self-proclaimed punk princess in a very different light …

… as a corpse!

Yes, thanks to a remarkably detailed tweet thread outlining the case for #DeadAvrilTruthers, the buzz on Twitter this week is that Avril committed suicide in 2003, and her death was covered up by greedy record company execs.

So who’s been belting out all those jams about Sk8r bois and rocking those ironic neckties?

Well, according to @givenchyass, a body double named Melissa Vandella has been masquerading as Avril for the past 14 years.

Yes, Ms. Ass claims that Lavigne hired Vandella early in her career to do appearances on her behalf and generally help her cope with the pressures of fame.

“She was so used to being able to live a normal life and now that she was famous, she couldn’t handle the paparazzi,” the conspiracy tweeter writes.

So, the story goes, Avril did what any skittish overnight celeb would do, and hired a doppelganger:

Dead Avril Lavigne Tweet

@givenchyass goes on to claim that Avril and Melissa “quickly became best friends” and one day while hanging out in the studio, Lavigne decided to teach Vandella how to “sing and sound like her.”

Shortly thereafter, Avril’s career took off like a shot, but at the height of her fame, she was struck by tragedy when her beloved grandfather passed away.

Dead Avril theorists believe that Lavigne was distraught that she hung herself, but those who stood to make the most money from her fame found a way to keep the radio-friendly pop-punk train rolling:

“She was at the peak of her career, so it is said that instead of letting the news of her dying go into the media, they used her look alike,” @givenchyass claims.

Dead Avril Tweet

Hilariously, this theory has actually been around for several years, originating on the appropriately-titled Brazilian blog Avril Esta Morta.

In the past, however, no one has gone into greater detail than @givenchyass, and yes, at this point, we’re just enjoying using that name as often as possible.

Social became so rapt with the notion that Avril was replaced by a punk double that Lavigne’s name trended on Twitter over the weekend, and hundreds have made contributions to the #DeadAvril evidence pile.

Naturally, there have been some doubters, because, well, the whole story is bonkers and ridiculous, but G-Ass has already responded to the haters:

Avril Lavigne Photograph

“I’m not sitting here being like ‘this is 100% facts’ it’s literally just a theory so calm down and miss me w that headass sh-t,” she tweeted.

Yeah! Miss her with that headass sh-t!

Do those words actually mean something?

Avril Lavigne is dead, people named @givenchyass are making international news, and we no longer understand Twitter slang!

Why ya gotta go and make things so complicated, world?

We need a nap.

Blake Shelton: Furious Christina Aguilera Replaced Gwen Stefani on The Voice?

He misses his lobster.

Christina Aguilera was one of the four original judges on NBC’s The Voice, but that means nothing to Blake Shelton.

The country singer “hates the fact that Gwen is no longer with him this season,” a source from the show told Radar Online.

“Everyone knows this and he is taking it out on Christina, and they are not getting a long at all.”

Aguilera made her return on February 29th, but Shelton is hell-bent on making her life miserable to the point where she quits.

“It’s his mission to make this as uncomfortable as possible for her so that she will not want to return next season,” the source added.

Shelton, it’s been alleged, threatened to quit at one point if Aguilera came back, but “execs knew that Blake was bluffing, thankfully,” the source pointed out.

“This is such a huge source of income for Blake and America loves him, so they came up with a plan to bring Gwen back on as a mentor on Blake’s team.”

Aguilera doesn’t give AF about Shelton’s (probably false) attempts to get her to leave the show.

“Christina is acting her normal self,” the source said. “She’s been a diva.

“That’s just who she is and nothing has really changed between this season and past seasons that she’s been on.”

Viva la diva!

Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 5 Recap: Can Abby Lee Miller Be Replaced?

Tension reached its all-time pinnacle on Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 5 – which is saying something for this show – last night on Lifetime.

That’s because Abby literally locked her team the f–k out.

If you watch Dance Moms online, then you’ve been following the saga of Abby Lee Miller’s bankruptcy case and subsequent meltdowns.

One of which caused her to “abandon” the team last week.

Well, fast forward to last night and the moms are gossiping in the parking lot, talking about how she won’t let the team use her studio.

Miller “literally” lives there, according to Jill Vertes.

It doesn’t really make a lot of sense, since despite the fact that she supposedly didn’t want them in her studio, using her name is okay?

We know Abby Lee Miller lied about quitting and that Dance Moms is the most fake show on reality TV, but this is just getting preposterous.

Anyway, the kids showed up to dance, until Holly Frazier realized hers was nowhere to be found and took off running to go find her.

Nia Frazier, it turns out, was so upset about some negative reactions to a video she posted on social media, so how did Holly respond?

By talking about the stress of how Abby wasn’t there, just to keep up the narrative, even though Nia never linked Miller with any bullying.

If we’re expected to believe that the stress of Abby being gone is what’s really bothering Nia in some tangential way, we’re tuning out.

Honestly, you’re better than this, Dance Moms. Get it together.

To see some actual dancing featuring Nakul Dev Mahajan and Debbie Allen (yes, the legendary Debbie Allen), follow the links above.
