Adele Surprises 12-Year-Old Fan With Visit to Her Bedside

Just when you thought Adele couldn’t get any more amazing, she goes and out-amazings herself.

Yesterday, we reported that during a concert in Belfast, she brought a woman onstage to help her fan propose to her boyfriend in epic fashion.

And today, the Daily Mail reports that Adele took some time between tour dates to pay a surprise visit to 12-year-old Rebecca Gibney, a superfan bedridden with health problems that include cerebral palsy and epilepsy. 

Rebecca’s mother, Tracy, had campaigned on Facebook and Twitter to get the superstar singer to FaceTime with or send a video message to her daughter, who she says listens to Adele’s music from the moment she gets up in the morning until bedtime.

She even started a petition on Change.org, pleading. “Please please help for my beautiful sick little daughter.” 

However, Adele thought FaceTime wasn’t enough for this little girl.

Instead, the songstress stopped by the family’s home and spent some time chatting with her young fan at her bedside.

Tracy expressed her gratitude on Twitter by posting photos of Rebecca and her hero together, tweeting, “I am so blessed and thankful that Adele came to my home today.”

“I am in shock, I got my baby’s dream to come true,” Tracy told Belfast Live. “She was so nice, she could not have been nicer.” 

“Adele was sat beside her and she was talking to me and my other kid, she was so nice for wee Rebecca,” she added. “I can not put it into words what it means.”

We’re so happy to see Rebecca’s dream come true. 

Adele, you are one class act.

Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Wedding Could Happen Soon, Source Says

It’s only been four months since we first learned that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are dating, but the couple has gone from friends with benefits to A-list item in record time.

Rumors about Blake and Gwen getting married have been circulating for much of that time, but now, the reports are coming from more legitimate sources like People magazine.

Asked about the likelihood of Stefani and Shelton getting hitched sometime in 2016, a source described the future wedding as “very possible.”

“Gwen thinks of Blake as the biggest blessing,” says the insider. “They share both good life experience, like work, and bad ones, like their divorces.” 

“They seem too perfect for each other for it to just be fluke. For now, they seem happy with their relationship, but Blake is old-fashioned and a future engagement seems very possible.”

We can’t say we’re surprised.

These two are so inseparable that there are rumors Blake is pissed at Christina Aguilera for replacing Gwen on The Voice.

Maybe if he flexes enough star muscle he can get his possible-fiancee her chair back.

Then they can get married and work together on a show where they’re in direct competition with one another. What could go wrong?

Duggars Promote Return to TV, FINALLY Mention Josh

As you may have heard, the Duggars are returning to TV later this month with a full season of Jill and Jessa’s spinoff series, Counting On.

Not surprisingly, the family has been in promotional mode lately, granting interviews, attending premieres for faith-based films and plugging the show on their blogs and social media pages.

So far, it’s unclear if Jim Bob and Michelle will appear on the show, but in any event, the Duggar parents are certainly lending a hand when it comes to scoring ratings.

Today, they took to their official  family blog to remind everyone that the show premieres in two weeks, and to provide a brief glimpse into life in the Duggar household.

The post featured a run-down of every Duggar’s favorite food (Mexican and Italian were the most common answers, which is a bit surprising, as “ethnic” isn’t exactly the first word that springs to mind when one thinks of the 19 Kids and Counting clan.), and that may not sound like a big deal – but it’s worth noting that when we say “every Duggar,” we mean every Duggar.

Yes, in case you wondering, Josh’s favorite food is Frito chili pie.

Nothing surprising about the choice (it’s something of a Southern staple), but it is surprising that the family casually made mention of Josh while promoting their new show.

It would have been odd if they’d left him off the list, but the eldest Duggar is a topic that’s usually avoided, particularly during the family’s recent push to rebuild their reputation.

There have been rumors that Josh will appear on Jill and Jessa’s new show, but that seems highly unlikely at the moment.

For now, the family is making small steps toward re-introducing Josh to the spotlight.

Kim Kardashian Faces Lawsuit Over 2014 Car Crash

Ah, the age-old “sue the celeb” trick.

Two years ago, Kim Kardashian was involved in a car accident on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills.  

Kardashian was taking a left in her Mercedes G Wagon when Rafael Antonio Linares’ car smashed into hers.   Linares reportedly has his right blinker on, despite driving straight.

According to Gossip Cop, Linares filed the suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 1st, specifying that he “sustained personal injuries which caused and will continue to cause pain, discomfort, and physical disability.”

At the time, witnesses at the scene saw both parties pull into the Beverly Hills Hotel, exchange information, then hug it out.

The damages Linares is seeking remain unknown, but he would like for Kardashian to pay for “past and future medical expenses,” repair costs for his car, as well as cover costs incurred while his was in the shop.

The court documents also state that Linares was “gainfully employed” prior to the crash, but was subsequently “deprived of earnings” as a result.

He’ll seek “compensation” for income lost, as well as legal fees.

This looks suspicious and stinks a bit of insurance fraud.  I kinda/sorta can’t wait to see this case unfold.
