Katy Perry and Dolly Parton at ACM Awards: Watch the Duet!

Katy Perry is known for donning all sorts of outfits while performing on stage.

But viewers of the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night were treated to something few had ever seen before:

The pop star in boots!

That"s because the pop star put on her figurative cowboy hat for the evening, heading over to the country music side of things for an incredible duet with Dolly Parton.

The artists rocked some bright colored ensembles as they belted out three of Parton"s most memorable hits: “Coat of Many Colors,” “Jolene,” and “9 to 5."

It was the first time Perry and Parton ever shared a stage, but we"re guessing both would be up for doing it again.

"MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED. I shall remember though that I am but one sequin on this living legend’s costume!” Perry Tweeted in response to the duet.

It was a big night for Parton all around at the event, whose fashion you can grade HERE.

The icon"s biographical television movie, Coat Of Many Colors, was this year’s Tex Ritter Award recipient, which is an honor handed out to a film from the preceding year that “either features or utilizes country music."

Check out Perry and Parton both being more than just a little bit country now:

Emily Ratajkowski: I"ll Get Naked For Whatever Reason I Want!

As a rule, when Emily Ratajkowski gets naked, it’s best to just sit back and enjoy the view.

But surprisingly, some folks are able to pick their jaws up off the floor long enough to question why EmRat is gracing us with the sight of her nude figure.

Last month, Ratajkowski took a naked selfie as a show of support for her fellow naked selfie enthusiast Kim Kardashian.

That was followed by a photo of Emily and Kim posing topless together in a show of feminine solidarity.

It’s hard to imagine anyone having a problem with that, but unfortunately, the Internet is a beast that feeds on outrage – and it’s always hungry.

Emily was subjected to a barrage of moronic comments after posting the pics.

Some of them even posited the ridiculous argument that because she’s a model, she has no place commenting on issues like fat-shaming and body positivity.

Thankfully, Ms. Ratajkowski is more than just a pretty face (and smokin’ physique), and she fired back with a series of insightful tweets:

“On anther note: re nude selfies & the politics of my physicality & sexuality: The politics of my body and figure are not my problem.

“I am not shamed or apologetic of what my body might represent to you…It’s the body I was given. I’m no less wrthy of making pltical pnts abt feminism or fighting for the reclaiming of female sexuality bc of it.”

“However sexual our bodies may be, we need to hve the freedom as women to choose whn & how we express our sexuality.”

Well said, Emily. Now feel free to post more nudity.

Jessa Duggar: Slammed By Parenting Critics For Latest Instagram Photo

Back in February, Jessa Duggar was criticized for posting a photo of her son Spurgeon in a diaper online. Several commenters stated that they felt the pic was disrespectful of the infant’s “modesty,” thus setting off a debate on social media.

Now, Jessa is once again taking heat for a photo of little Spurgeon, but this time, for a very different reason:

The above photo of Spurgeon and his father, Ben Seewald, sitting in an Arkansas coffee shop may seem harmless enough, but some of Jessa’s Instagram followers have expressed their misgivings about what they feel is evidence of her shoddy parenting.

The problem, it seems, is that Spurgeon is lying in his car seat – a safety hazard to which Jessa has now been alerted dozens of times.

She posted the photo for her 1.8 million followers last week with a caption reading, “Coffee shop with my guys,” but many fans weren’t appreciative of the candid glimpse into the new parents’ daily life.

Many took to the comments section to point out that toddlers sleeping in car seats face an increased risk of choking due to the possibility of becoming entangled in the seat’s straps.

“Not supposed to leave a child strapped in their car seat, too many babies have died that way,” wrote one follower.

“It’s when a child is left in a car seat for an extended period of time such as during a nap and their airway becomes compromised when their chin is tucked to their chest,” another pointed out.

Thankfully, many others pointed out that the danger comes when babies are left in car seats unattended, and Spurgeon – who will be five months old this week – clearly had both parents at the ready.
