Elton John and Miley Cyrus Stun With "Tiny Dancer" Duet!

Grammys viewers are still outraged that Lorde wasn"t invited to perform solo and basking in the afterglow of Kesha"s powerful "Praying" performance.

But the Grammys are a celebration of music, and singers don"t have to be winners or even especially relevant to have their time in the spotlight.

Which is why we were all treated to absolute legend Elton John singing "Tiny Dancer" … in a stunning duet with none other than Miley Cyrus. Take a look in the video below!

Elton john and miley cyrus

Before the performance even began, they were introduced by Anna Kendrick.

Anna even acknowledges that she"s introducing them because she is famously tiny.

If you"re tall, pretty much everyone under 6 feet looks the same height — a height called "short." But Anna Kendrick is 5-foot-2. She"s conspicuously small. And therefore the perfect celeb to introduce this duet.

You might think that you don"t know one Elton John song from another, but we have a feeling that most people will recognize "Tiny Dancer" from somewhere or another.

As we said, Elton John is an absolute legend, and he"s been in this game for a long time.

Elton john 2018 grammy awards

Elton John begins to play the piano and sing, as he is want to do.

It"s good to remember that the world was nearly robbed of his talent, as it was less than a year ago that Elton John was still recovering from a potentially deadly infection. Money can buy you first-rate health care, but it doesn"t make you immune to illness.

Even so, Sir Elton is going to retire from music and spend more time with his family. But first, he"ll do a farewell tour.

You"ll notice the white rose sitting on Elton John"s piano. That"s not just artistic whimsy — it"s his nod to the #TimesUp movement.

Other artists wore white flowers on the red carpet.

It isn"t long into Elton John"s performance when Miley steps in.

Miley cyrus and elton john 2

Miley is wearing a gorgeous dress.

Her voice is as lovely as ever, and while we"d never want to overshadow an artist"s talent by talking about their outfit, this is one of those situations when we need to talk about how Miley is choosing to portray herself.

Just as Sir Elton"s colorful, glittery suit is part of his brand, the way that Miley presents herself is relevant to her performance.

For years, Miley talked nonstop about how much she loves marijuana. "Coincidentally," that was also the period in her life when Miley decided to appropriate black culture.

Labeling herself a "hippie," Miley was almost a mascot for white privilege, using black people as props in her wild and outlandish performances and singing constantly about how much she loves a controlled substance that has been used as an excuse to ruin the lives of countless black people.

Recently, however, Miley decided to reinvent herself into the New Old Miley. Just look at her.

Miley cyrus sings tiny dancer

That"s right. Miley quit weed because she dreamed that she would die, even though it might be literally impossible for her to actually overdose on marijuana.

(We"re pretty sure that more people die each year from drinking water than from smoking pot)

Miley also doesn"t show her breasts anymore. While this is all her choice to make, it seems to some people that she sampled what she perceived to be black culture, tried to use it for her brand for a few years, and then got bored and decided to just be a "southern gal" for a while.

We know that Miley didn"t do any of this maliciously, but a lot of people don"t love the way that she spent years being obnoxious in multiple ways, only to seemingly revert to how she was almost immediately post-Disney.

(There"s a middle ground!)

Miley cyrus and elton john 1

That said, though, this performance is absolutely lovely and powerful.

You might not think that Sir Elton"s voice would work so well with Miley"s. They have, well, some very different accents.

But their duet is beautiful and tasteful and really does justice to the song.

And since Elton John is retiring from music, he absolutely deserved this spot at the Grammy awards.

Faith Hill, Cutest Fan EVER Sing Precious Duet

In need of a little pick-me-up today?

Feeling a bit down and need some assistance turning that front around?

Faith Hill and the cutest little girl ever are here to help!

In the following video, we see the 49-year old country music singer meeting a five-year old mega fan named Rosie.

It had been the life-long dream of this precious toddler to make the acquaintance of her favorite recording artist, having actually taken the necessary action to make this into a possibility.

Rosie made a video of herself belting out one of Faith"s chart-topping hits. She then sent it to Hill, waited and hoped.

Left with no choice after watching the cute footage, Hill arranged to meet Rosie backstage during her Soul2Soul: The World Tour with husband Tom McGraw.

“You made my day when I saw your little video,” Hill told Rosie while holding her hands in the clip below. “You’re precious! What do you want to sing?”

The excited young fan then asks Hill if they can sing “Mississippi Girl” together, to which the singer said yes (of course).

The precious pair then sang the first verse and chorus of the track as one… and Rosie didn’t mess up a single note!

They then shared a tight embrace.

“Was so sweet to meet & sing with Rosie, a fellow Mississippi Girl. #soul2soul #speaktoagirl,” Hill captioned her post of the meet, greet and duet on Instagram.

Watch for yourself – and then just try to not be in a great mood!

Bruce Springsteen Plays Duet with Luckiest Fan Ever

For the record, Bruce Springsteen is probably a big fan of school.

We"re sure he"d encourage every young person to attend many years of school and graduate from both high school and college.

However, 14-year old Nathan Testa was in attendance at The Boss’ show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre last Thursday when he held up a sign saying he had skipped school to be there.

Through his homemade sign, Nathan also said he wanted to play “Growin’ Up” with Springsteen, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

“Do you know the song? You do?” Springsteen asked from the stage. “You know it on guitar? You do? Come on up!”

And go on up Testa did, only played the track with Springsteen and the E Street Band, but even received a few lessons in how to hold the guitar like a true rock star.

Internet users have been quick to note that Testa also joined Springsteen on stage four years ago, at the age of 11, to sing “Waitin’ On A Sunny Day.”

Does that mean this latest stunt was staged?

Or is Testa the luckiest person on the face of the planet?

Either way, watch the fun duet below:

Taylor Swift Performs Surprising Duet, Kisses Random Dude on Stage

Taylor Swift sure doesn’t look like someone whose life is totally and completely ruined.

On Saturday night, the singer made what is believed to have been her first public appearance since getting called out in embarrassing fashion by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Rocking a sexy off-the-shoulder crop top and mini skirt, the 26-year old actually performed on stage with Nelly as part of good friend Karlie Kloss’ birthday party in The Hamptons.

Swift had previously wished Kloss a very happy birthday.

It was only Taylor’s second Instagram message in about a month, since the infamous phone with Kanye that Kim leaked online.

As you can see in cell phone footage shared by someone in attendance, Swift and Nelly broke into a rendition of the rapper’s 2002 hit, “Dilemma.”

Swift took on Kelly Rowland’s parts of the song and the two stars sang and danced as the crowd went wild in approval.

“Taylor was in an amazing mood, and super fun all night,” an insider tells E! News, adding:

“She danced her ass off. At first she didn’t want to perform but then Nelly asked her. Everyone was super into it, the crowd loved it.”

Last year, Nelly became one of several celebrities to make a cameo with Swift’s on the pop artist’s 1989 World Tour.

He came out during a stop in St. Louis, Missouri and sang “Hot in Herre” with Haim.

At one point on Saturday night, meanwhile, Swift was joined by on stage by some guy named Mike Hess.

We’ve learned that he’s a Harvard Business School graduate and oil heir that a party goer says was also celebrating a birthday that evening.

And Swift made sure it was a birthday he’ll never forget.

In a Snapchat video shared by jewelry designer Jen Meyer, the singer is seen strutting her sexy stuff toward Hess… prior to giving him a quick smooch on his cheek.

The duo then dances closely together, with Hess sort of wrapping his arm around her waist.

Sorry, Tom Hiddleston. You may want to turn away right about now…

But a source confirms to E! News that Swift spent more of her night with Kloss.

There’s no scandal to report on here regarding her interactions with Hess.

Swift, of course, was outed a liar by Kardashian and West several weeks ago.

They seemed to confirm that Taylor did, indeed, know all about the lyrics in the song “Famous,” even giving Kanye permission to sing some unflattering things about her.

Ever since this incident, Taylor has mostly gone social media silent.

We’ve heard more about Calvin Harris dissing her than we’ve heard from Swift herself.

While many Internet users are excited that Swift is now “over,” however, we’re glad to see her out and about and in a good mood.

She’s clearly not a bad person. Critics gotta lighten up.

See what they’ve been saying about her below and check out her fun duet with Nelly above.

Christina Aguilera: Performing Duet With Whitney Houston Hologram on The Voice??

This is either going to be super awesome or horrifically creepy.

Perhaps a bit of both.

Christina Aguilera is reportedly slated to perform a duet with a hologram of the late Whitney Houston on The Voice, a source tells Entertainment Tonight.

Rumors surfaced that Houston"s hologram would make an appearance on the show last week, but so far, Aguilera admits nothing.

"I am sworn to secrecy," she said.

"I can"t say anything, but I"m very excited about the finale. Very exciting things happening."

NBC declined to comment as well.

Houston, who has been nicknamed "THE Voice," is regarded as one of the greatest singers ever to live, as coaches on the singing competition are often heard repeating.

Contestants who perform Houston songs do so at their own peril, as the coaches are quick to compare and scrutinize, usually unfavorably.

However, Aguilera is also highly respected for her talent and is considered by many to be one of the greatest living vocalists.

Putting these two together could result in an immaculate harmony of runs and high notes, but fans aren"t necessarily thrilled.

"No disrespect to Christina Aguilera, but why is a Whitney Houston hologram not just Whitney by herself? Is NBC paying for it or something?" wrote one critic on Twitter.

"Can people not sing Whitney Houston songs or even sing with a hologram of her please. It will never sound good," tweeted another.

Black Twitter also expressed its displeasure with the pairing.

"Whitney Houston"s hologram in my opinion should be sang with by a black woman IMO. But that"s just me. Don"t @ me," wrote one user.

Two years ago, Michael Jackson"s hologram made its debut, and fans raved at how real it appeared.

But the Jackson"s holographic rendering performed solo.

We have to wonder if it would have received the same backlash if Justin Timberlake appeared alongside the King of Pop"s image.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Perform New Duet, Eye-Bang Each Other

Do you two want some privacy?

Last night on The Voice, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton rubbed our faces in their love a wee bit more by performing their romantical duet, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart."

Having grown up listening to No Doubt, it"s kind of neat to watch a ska-tastic Stefani shake it up with country music, and I think she was jazzed about it, seeing as she promoted the crap out of it via Instagram.

I can"t help but wonder if Miranda Lambert is watching this performance, gritting her teeth while thinking, "that used to be me."

After, Shelton got candid with People about the collaboration.

"I guess I"m nervous in a new kind of way," Shelton admitted.

"I"m excited because this is a song Gwen and I feel so close to for obvious reasons. It"s as brutally honest and straightforward as you can be in a love song."

An onlooker from the set described the couple"s adorable interaction.

"When they were introduced to the stage, Blake gently touched her lower back, helping her up the stairs," the insider told People, adding that the performance only required two takes.

"The moment he saw her, he couldn"t help but smile," the insider added of their first take.

Shelton and Stefani "shared plenty of sweet, intimate moments during their performance, barely breaking eye contact.

"When it came to singing, you could tell they were very much in the moment.

"Once the song finished, Blake embraced Gwen with a hug and a long kiss on the forehead."

The audience caught the first take, but viewers at home were only shown the second take, so NO KISS ON THE FOREHEAD FOR YOU.

It wasn"t necessary though, because judging from their onstage chemistry, Shelton and Stefani most likely engaged in sexy time immediately after the performance.

Shelton summed up our feelings perfectly when he described the song.

"It"s like people getting a look at something personal for the first time," he said.

Accurate.

Katy Perry and Dolly Parton at ACM Awards: Watch the Duet!

Katy Perry is known for donning all sorts of outfits while performing on stage.

But viewers of the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night were treated to something few had ever seen before:

The pop star in boots!

That"s because the pop star put on her figurative cowboy hat for the evening, heading over to the country music side of things for an incredible duet with Dolly Parton.

The artists rocked some bright colored ensembles as they belted out three of Parton"s most memorable hits: “Coat of Many Colors,” “Jolene,” and “9 to 5."

It was the first time Perry and Parton ever shared a stage, but we"re guessing both would be up for doing it again.

"MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED. I shall remember though that I am but one sequin on this living legend’s costume!” Perry Tweeted in response to the duet.

It was a big night for Parton all around at the event, whose fashion you can grade HERE.

The icon"s biographical television movie, Coat Of Many Colors, was this year’s Tex Ritter Award recipient, which is an honor handed out to a film from the preceding year that “either features or utilizes country music."

Check out Perry and Parton both being more than just a little bit country now:

Adele Sings Duet with Autistic Fan Because She"s Adele

Really, you would like more evidence that Adele may be the greatest person alive?

It wasn"t enough that she recently helped a fan propose to another fan in concert?

Or that she surprised a sick young fan by showing up at her bedside?

Okay, fine. How about the following news item in that case?

Video has gone viral of Adele performing at Manchester Arena earlier this month and inviting a 12-year old named Emily Tammam up on stage with her for a duet of “Someone Like You.”

Emily is Autistic and has made it known that Adele is her favorite artist.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Emily – who also has ADHD, along with a disorder that affects connective tissue – held up a sign at the event that read, “It is my dream to sing with Adele.”

After seeing the poster, the beloved singer brought the 12-year-old up in front of thousands of attendees.

Emily, who actually competed on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014, then brought these same people to their feet after impressively belting out the opening lyrics to her hero"s popular ballad.

Check out the inspiring duet below and don"t try to fight it any longer.

Adele is simply the best. Although Emily Tammam is clearly pretty awesome in her own right…

Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake: What a Duet!

Justin Timberlake didn"t bring sexy back at the 2015 Country Music Awards.

Instead, the pop singer went a little bit country for the occasion, teaming up with Chris Stapleton at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to duet on “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Drink You Away.”

And Mr. Jessica Biel proved to be quite the good luck charm for the up-and-coming country singer, as Stapleton went on to win New Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist and Album of the Year.

Timberlake and Stapleton have known each other for years, with news of their unexpected performance breaking on Monday.

The former boy band member Tweeted a photo from rehearsals at the time, writing “honored to share the stage with this BADASS. Wed night. Memphis x Nashville," to which Stapleton replied:

"The feeling couldn’t be more mutual #nashvilletnkids."

And just how impressive were these musical superstars?

They actually earned a shout-out in Miranda Lambert"s acceptance speech for Best Female Vocalist.

"I"m just gonna keep it short, but Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton, thank you very much. I"m gonna go home and practice," the country music sensation said of her fellow artists.

Stapleton released hid debut solo album in May. Prior to going out on his own, he wrote singles for such singers as Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan and Adele.

That"s quite the resume. And this was quite the duet.

Watch Timberlake and Stapleton team up on "Tennessee Whiskey" and prepare to be blown away.

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez: "Strong" Duet Leaks Online!!!!

Wait … did Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber really collaborate on this new duet that leaked online? Is it any good? Are they slapping bodies again?

What the hell do you make of all this?!

There once was a time when you couldn"t talk about Justin Bieber naked without thinking about him flopping around on top of Selena Gomez.

Maybe this upset you, or turned you on a bit. Or it just made you sick. A little of each? All we know is that they were inseparable for a time.

Their intense relationship soon grew toxic, though, and they split for good sometime after he called her a talentless p—y via text message.

That will typically do the breakup trick.

Gone are the days of grinding on Gomez in the studio, egging neighbors and being a general a– wipe for J.B. He has turned things around.

Focusing on his music (whatever you think of it) and saying all the right things, he"s slowly but surely reminded his fans why they loved him.

Selena, too, has forged her own path.

For the past year and a half, the hot young celebrities operated largely outside of the context of one another, though, for better or worse.

Until right f–king now.

Bieber released "Strong," a new track featuring Selena herself. This came out of nowhere, and details are scarce, but we can tell you two things:

  1. The song sucks;

  2. That"s never stopped them from generating massive buzz as solo artists or as a "couple" before, and it sure as s–t won"t now.

BOOM! CLAP! Watch Taylor Swift Duet with Charli XCX

Another day, another fun duet between Taylor Swift and a fellow major name in music.

After taking off her clothes as a back-up dancer to Nelly in St. Louis, Swift moved her "1989" tour to north of the border to kick off October.

On the third of this month, she performed for fans in Toronto and brought Charli XCX out with her at one point to sing a duet of the latter"s smash, "Boom Clap."

"BOOM. CLAP. @charli_xcx just killed it in Toronto," Swift wrote on Instagram along with a video of the pair getting down with one another.

The British singer-songwriter later returned the compliment, writing along with a backstage photo of her and Swift: "Thanks for having me tonight @taylorswift. P.S. My tour manager has the biggest crush on u."

We don"t blame him.

Check out the fun video above and click HERE for a look at all the guests who have joined Taylor throughout her ongoing tour.

Grandmother FLIPS OUT Over Mick Jagger Duet

As previously depicted, Taylor Swift invited Mick Jagger to join her for a duet of "(I Can"t Get No) Satisfaction."

This unexpected duet certainly got the crowd on its feet, but let"s face it: most in attendance were in their teens. Tragically, many may not have even heard of The Rolling Stones.

But that certainly can"t be said of the 72-year old woman featured in this video.

According to the attendee"s daughter, who uploaded this footage to the Internet, the woman "had a lifelong dream of going to a Stones concert, but due to a serious health issue this past year, she missed their tour."

So you can imagine her reaction when – stunningly – Jagger actually came out on stage to sing the band"s best-known single.

Actually, you don"t need to imagine her reaction. You can see it for yourself right here!

(SPOILER ALERT: It"s awesome!)

Taylor Swift: Who Did She Duet with Now?!?

Nashville may be known as the home of country music.

But Taylor Swift turned it into rock "n roll town over the weekend.

First, the pop star teamed with Steven Tyler for a duet of "I Don"t Want to Miss a Thing."

And then she followed up this performance inside Bridgestone Arena the next night with a rendition of "(I Can"t Get No) Satisfaction." Alongside Mick Jagger!

As you can see here, the two artists strutted down the stage"s long catwalk and sang in unison on the classic 1965 smash hit by The Rolling Stones.

Swift then took to Twitter and summarized the unexpected duet in awesome fashion, simply writing: *drops mic.
