Bethenny Frankel on Sonja Morgan: I Pity Her

The Skinnygirl told off The Tipsy Girl on The Real Housewives of New York City Season 8 Episode 7.

In a confrontation for the ages, Bethenny Frankel told Sonja Morgan exactly what she thought about the latter trying to break into the wine business, sitting across from her on a couch and just tearing Morgan to shreds.

It was ugly and it was personal.

“I think you’re a fraud,” Frankel told Morgan upon being asked for her take on Morgan’s Tipsy Girl line of cocktails.

“You’ve come up with six fake businesses, and no one buys any of it. Nobody believes any of it.”

This critique brought Morgan to tears, with the reality star citing her reason Chapter 11 filing and explaining that she hoped this business idea would help her dire financial situation.

You can watch The Real Housewives of New York City online to relive the entire episode and click below to view this awkward exchange:

Having had some time to reflect on her destruction of Morgan, does Bethenny now have any regrets?

It doesn’t really sound like it.

“The Sonja situation was just kind of sad,” Frankel wrote on her blog today.

“Obviously, her idea can’t touch my brand. There is no product or distribution. It is a made-for-television idea, and I have over 20 varieties of wine, vodka and ready to drink.

“You can’t find a city of the Housewives where several women haven’t followed in my footsteps and attempted booze.”

How does the successful entrepreneur feel about this competition?

“Bring it on. The more the merrier. It is a brutal business, and it may look easy, but as you see, it isn’t.”

Bethenny added Tipsy Girl is an “unoriginal name and idea” and it gives audiences a misguided impression “that you just go on TV, and poof a brand is born. That isn’t how it works.”

Frankel is mostly right in this regard.

She does work hard and she has made a ton of money off her Skinnygirl brand.

But she’s lying to herself if she thinks her reality TV career didn’t play a big role in her success.

Frankel really did make Morgan cry on the latest episode of their Bravo hit, but she says now that there’s no ill will between the castmates.

“As for Sonja, well…I have no anger towards Sonja, but I do have sympathy,” she concludes.

“I hope she can find her truth somewhere in the process.

“Ideas and names are a dime a dozen. Execution, drive, dedication and passion push it through.”

Meet the Internet Hero Who Dined with a Homeless Woman

All members of law enforcement deserve our admiration and respect.

But Massachusetts State Trooper Luke Bonin even more than most, we feel comfortable saying.

According to a Massachusetts State Police Facebook post, Bonin spotted a homeless woman named Lynn Murphy on the side of the road this month.

Bonin had just left court, learned that Murphy is a mother of four and proceeded to purchase food for the new friends to enjoy together.

He had no idea anyone was even around to snap a photo of the compassionate act.

“Trooper Bonin, we know you do not want or expect publicity. We know you didn’t want to be noticed, but you were, and the job is proud of you,” the state police’s Facebook message reads.

“We commend you for your selfless act, and for “doing the right thing” for someone less fortunate than most people."

As documented below by CBS Boston, Murphy says she thought Bonin was going to get her in trouble for panhandling when he first approached.

To her very pleasant surprise, however, he presented her with a meal instead.

And that’s not all the police officer did.

“I thought he was just going to hand me the meal but when he said, ‘Come around the back, it’s such a beautiful day, we’ll have a picnic,’ the mother told the outlet.

“It touched my heart.”

And this story continues to tour our heart.

David Procopio, a State Police spokesperson, told The Herald News that this incident speaks perfectly to what Bonin is all about.

"It really reveals his character," Procopio says.

Farrah Abraham: New Reality Show Coming to Netflix???

Really, Netflix? Is it true?

We here at THG are seriously questioning whether the streaming service would do such a thing, but a certain controversial reality star is promoting a sure-to-be controversial reality show starring herself on Netflix.

It’s Farrah Abraham.

The Teen Mom OG personality and amateur porn actress appears to be announcing a new show called Farrah & Chill on her Instagram.

Farrah captioned the image simply “#Netflix #Farrah&chill.”

Of course, it’s missing the Netflix logo and the branding looks entirely off, so it’s possible Farrah just had this created of her own volition.

Fans also weren’t clear if this show has actually been greenlighted.

“Is this for real?” asked many followers.

Response to the idea of a Farrah reality show were a mixed bag.

Some hated the idea: “I’d rather stab my eyes out.”

While some loved it: “I legit cannot wait to watch this. Talk about entertainment.”

Still others loved and hated it simultaneously: “Ew that’s disgusting. But I kinda wanna see her doing porn.”

Indeed, many assumed that since Farrah was in it, the series would be pornographic in nature.

“I’m going too cancel my membership if this is real! Porn on Netflix…smh!” wrote one user.

We couldn’t find news of “Farrah & Chill” anywhere, so it’s possible the mom of one is using this as a tactic to pitch Netflix – or she’s just trying to create publicity for herself.

Like when she called Blac Chyna a “monkey” on Instagram in an obvious attempt to get press.

Luckily, Chyna never responded and the story died quickly, but another controversy soon arose, shockingly not initiated by Farrah herself.

Earlier this week, a Jonathan Lee Riches claimed that he was the true father of Farrah’s daughter Sophia. But that’s not the best part.

He also revealed that he impregnated the star when she was a minor at the behest of his mentor, Josh Duggar.

There’s no doubt a reality show about Farrah would be entertaining, but for the sake of this country’s integrity, we hope it never comes to fruition.

Bam Margera: Back to Boozing After Family Therapy

If you watched the first season of Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn, which wrapped up its run on VH1 last night, then you’re probably aware that former Jackass star Bam Margera isn’t doing so well these days.

It seems Bam has spent his years out of the spotlight struggling with a serious alcohol addiction triggered in part by the death of his friend Ryan Dunn in 2011.

Sources say Bam agreed to do the show largely because the dry environment, along with the presence of his mother and a dozen television cameras would force him to dry out.

But even with those sobering influences, Bam snuck booze into the treatment facility, but he eventually came clean and dumped it down the drain.

The 36-year-old former skateboarder sobered up (with the help of Michael Lohan, no less), but it seems his resolve weakened shortly after he finished filming.

VH1 recently caught up with Bam’s mother, April Margera, to see how her son is holding up.

As always, April put a positive spin on things, but it’s clear from her remarks that Bam’s sobriety didn’t last long:

“We have a much better level of communication,” April told the network.

“I’m not afraid to say things to him when he’s messing up. I’m not afraid to come right out and say, ’Look, you need to start thinking about this again.’”

She clarified that he’s “messed up” a few times since leaving treatment, most recently when a friend gave him a bottle of booze as a gift.

“I’m not saying that he’s not taking responsibility for himself. I feel like he’s right on the edge of it,” April says.

“He want to build a new skate park and he’s going to go do it but we’re trying to work really hard with each speed bump trying to get through it.”

“Is he the guy to go to rehab now? No, but he is considering it. We’ve talked about it. I think the lines of communication are much better and he’s starting to figure out why he’s doing all of these things.”

Sigh. April, no one’s the “the guy to go to rehab” until they go to rehab.

We know being the sweet, permissive mom is your thing, and you’re great at it, but it’s sounding like some tough love is in order here.
