Josh and Anna Duggar SLAMMED By Critics: This Family is a Cult!

Yesterday, a People magazine profile of Anna Duggar earned a surprising amount of attention online. 

The magazine has always taken a more favorable stance on the Duggar family than most media outlets, and their depiction of Josh’s long-suffering wife was predictably glowing.

But the descriptions of Anna’s “fun” personality are not the reason that the piece gained so much traction on the Internet.

In fact, it seems the article was circulated largely by Duggar detractors who were harshly critical of Anna on the People website.

Some of the more scathing comments include:

“Anna is the poster child of why a woman needs to have an education, or something to fall back on, so they don’t find themselves trapped in a marriage, because they have no where to go.”

“This entire family is gross! They are nothing but a family cult! I stopped watching TLC because I was tired of seeing this family promoted. They just need to move on and go away!”

“Oh she’ll be pregnant again before this article is off the news stand.. All faith will be restored.”

The article contained insiders’ accounts of Anna’s childhood, but while her family has been described as even more devoutly religious than the Duggars, the author mostly glossed over the strict nature of Anna’s upbringing.

Many commenters took notice of this and pointed out that understanding Anna’s past is important to understanding why she’ll never divorce Josh Duggar, despite his many transgressions.

From a young age, Anna was taught that marriage is for life and wives are to stick by their husbands even in cases of infidelity and abuse.

It seems to be a belief that she’s carried with her into adulthood.

As for the comment suggesting that Anna and Josh are likely to expand their family soon, it looks as though it may be dead-on.

Reports that Anna is pregnant with her fifth child began to circulate shortly after Josh left rehab.

The Bachelorette Spoilers 2016: JoJo Fletcher Final Four, WINNER Revealed!!

Filming for the upcoming season is complete, and The Bachelorette spoilers have revealed who JoJo Fletcher selects as her final rose recipient.

Moreover, we can tell you why the winner is like a walking red flag.

JoJo doesn’t even debut in the lead role until Monday, May 23.

Naturally, then, ever since Ben Higgins rejected JoJo for Lauren Bushnell on The Bachelor finale, speculation turned to Fletcher’s season.

Always at the center of it all, the man, the myth, the Dallas blogging legend is all over this season like Tyga on underage Instagram models.

Unsurprisingly, he pegged Fletcher’s favorite from the beginning – and has now confirmed the 2016 winner as that early frontrunner.

As previously reported, Wells Adams, Luke Pell, James Taylor, Jordan Rodgers and Robby Hayes make it to JoJo’s coveted final five.

Wells got the boot before the hometown dates, leaving four.

Kind of hilarious that brothers of NFL signal-callers have won two of the past three seasons (Josh Murray is the brother of Aaron Murray).

Will Jordan’s engagement fare better than Josh’s to Andi Dorfman? We can tell you that he got down on one knee on the finale, and …

JoJo said yes! She and Jordan are totes engaged!

Again, those who read The Bachelorette spoilers on a regular basis know how Steve said Jordan was THE one to watch this season.

This was, like, months ago. Dude is good at his job.

Similar to last year’s season starring Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth, she had her mind made up early and she stuck to her guns.

But back to JoJo’s final two: Expect to see producers depict Robby Hayes as the villain and Jordan Rodgers as the All-American hero.

There are a number of rumors going around that will immediately make you question whether this engagement is basically DOA though:

1. The couple was actually talking to one another before the show began, a la Kaitlyn Bristowe and eventual runner-up Nick Viall last year.

Producers allegedly ignore this completely, to boot. Shady.

2. Even worse, though, are rumors Jordan is a big-time player … and we don’t mean football (though he did star in college at Vanderbilt).

Apparently, he was seriously dating another girl until the night before he left for the show, and told her he wanted to be with her afterward.

He called The Bachelorette a “business decision.” For real.

Allegedly, he’s an aspiring sportscaster’s whose goal – as stated openly to friends – was to become The Bachelor Season 21 in early 2017.

So … by winning the final rose, he actually lost the “game”?

Maybe something changed and he really fell in love with JoJo Fletcher, but needless to say, this does not bode well on its own merit.

3. Jordan Rodgers went through an ugly breakup a few years ago with ex-girlfriend Brittany Farrar … and there’s a twist to that, too. 

Farrar (above, left) is still the trainer and close friend of Olivia Munn … the gorgeous actress and model who is also Aaron Rodgers’ girlfriend!

Yes, it’s all pretty incestuous and bizarre at this point.

Interestingly, and perhaps upsettingly for Jo down the line, Aaron and Olivia are tighter with Brittany than they are with his own brother.

“Aaron and Olivia know what happened with Jordan and Brittany,” Steve writes, and while we don’t know why they split, he adds ominously:

“Needless to say, the fact they remained friends with her and Aaron and Jordan don’t have much of a relationship pretty much gives you the answer you need.”

Damnnnnn! Sorry in advance, Joelle.

Who knows, maybe this is true love at its finest and they will walk down the aisle and live happily ever and make beautiful babies together.

Given the show’s track record – and what we’re hearing about this guy before the season even begins – would you wager on that, however?

Kate Middleton: Who Just Threw Major Shade At Her?

Who is upsetting the royal apple cart?  Is is Fergie?  Prince Philip?  One of the corgis?

Truthfully, no one is, but one site believes that creating a rumor out of absolutely nothing is a perfectly good use of one’s time.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the Queen’s daughter-in-law, Sophie, Countess of Wessex has taken subtle digs at the Duchess of Cambridge:

Is Kate Middleton emulating a young Queen Elizabeth’s fashion sense in a desperate attempt to win favor with Her Majesty? Have the put downs from Sophie Wessex thrown the Duchess of Cambridge into a tailspin? Is that why Kate Middleton wore a red Zara blazer that is suspiciously similar to one worn by Queen Elizabeth in her younger years?

On May 15th, the royal family attended the final night of the Royal Windsor Horse Show, celebrating Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.

Catherine wore a red coat by Zara over a white Dolce & Gabbana lace dress, which CDL took to mean she’s not only doing everything humanly possible to emulate the Queen’s traditional fashion sense, but she’s also trying to win the monarch’s approval.

Sophie recently told the BBC that up until recently, her 12-year-old daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, had no idea her grandmother was the Queen.

“Well for Louise, actually, it was much more of a shock to the system,” Sophie explained.

“It was only when she was coming home from school and saying, ‘Mummy, people keep on telling me that grandma is the queen."”

Sophie said that Louise couldn’t quite wrap her head around granny’s job and what it meant.

“I don’t think she had grasped that perhaps there was only one queen,” Sophie said.

Louise and her younger brother, James spend a lot of time with the Queen, often riding their horses with the monarch.

Louise and her dad, the Earl of Wessex, took part in May 15th’s festivities, along with the Queen’s daughter, Princess Anne, and granddaughter, Zara Tindall.

The Queen and Sophie have a warm relationship, and enjoy spending time together.  

CDL alleges that Sophie thinks Catherine is too wrapped up in the spotlight to develop such a bond with the monarch, and that her children spend too much time in front of the cameras.

When it comes down to it Kate Middleton is nothing but a superficial commoner who brings George and Charlotte out for convenient photo opportunities. Sophie Wessex, on the other hand, keeps Lady Louise and young son James out of the public eye as much as possible.

An odd theory, given that the Cambridges go out of of their way to keep Prince George and Princess Charlotte away from cameras.  

In fact, they controlled a photoshoot this winter where only one photographer was present.  

Historically, a pack of photographers would be invited to such an engagement, but since William has said he doesn’t wish to put his children on parade, he and Catherine have taken precautions in protecting their kids.

What’s more, George and Charlotte are third and fourth in line to the throne, respectively.  No offense, but Sophie is married to the Queen’s youngest child, so her family ranks pretty low on the totem pole of royal significance.

Therefore, it’s a bit easier for Sophie and Edward to raise their kids privately.

Kaley Cuoco Kisses Karl Cook, Flips Ex-Husband the Bird

As previously documented, Kaley Cuoco really stuck it to Ryan Sweeting in their divorce papers.

Just a few months after signing a deal with The Big Bang Theory that made her one of the richest stars on television, Cuoco arranged it so her ex-husband would not see a dime of that upcoming payout.

Harsh… but maybe fair?

We don’t know what actually went down between Cuoco and Sweeting.

After two years of marriage, the couple split in September, with Cuoco immediately scrubbing all references to Sweeting from her social media accounts.

That’s never a good sign.

Fast forward just a few months and Cuoco isn’t just dating Karl Cook… she’s fawning all over Karl Cook every chance she gets!

Check it, here she is nuzzling up to Cook, writing how “this is what happy looks like.”

And here’s a rumor that Cuoco and Cook may even get married soon.

A lot of it is speculation at this point, but there’s nothing to speculate over regarding the picture below:

It features Cuoco kissing Cook on the lips, that much is certain.

And it also features Cuoco raising her middle finger, clearly flipping someone The Bird.

Why do we believe that person is Sweeting?

For starters… who else would it be?!?

Also, Cuoco captioned the image with a single word: Finally.

As in… finally I found true love? As in… finally I’m happy and eff you to the dude who made me unhappy before and maybe even cheated on me?

Crazier assumptions have been made, right?

It’s too bad, Cuoco and Sweeting really did seem happy there for awhile.

But as long as we can watch The Big Bang Theory online and see Cuoco’s gorgeous face whenever we want, we’ll be happy. And that’s all that matters in the end.
