Sydney Holland: Sumner Redstone"s Ex Joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

She’s philanthropic! She’s a working woman! She wants to be a Housewife!

Meet Sydney Holland, a gal who bills herself as a producer, but is more well-known for dating studio executive Sumner Redstone, 93.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news that Holland, 44, had pitched herself to producers to the join the cast of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Holland and Redstone – who is chairman emeritus of Viacom and CBS – were set up by Patti Stanger on The Millionaire Matchmaker.  They dated for five years before Redstone broke it off after Holland had an affair with former actor, George Pilgrim.

When Redstone found out that Holland and Pilgrim were shacking up in her Sedona home, he kicked her to the curb.

“He exploded and told Holland to ‘get the fuck out of my house’ and within two days every trace of her was gone, including Holland’s two-year-old adopted daughter, Alexandra Red, whom Holland has described as delighting Redstone, toddling around the house and sitting on his lap,” a source told Vanity Fair.

“‘Sydney is out of his life,’ explains the source, who is familiar with the situation. ‘It’s now, ‘Sydney who?’ There’s no fucking with this man ever. As Ace Greenberg [the late former chairman of Bear Stearns] used to say, ‘If you mess with Sumner you are going to lose.’”

Holland also flips houses (reportedly with money “given” to her from Redstone), according to Variety.  She purchased homes owned by Jessica Simpson, one leased by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, and has managed to make a profit on most, if not all, projects.

Holland’s reps reportedly sent a “sizzle reel” to producers to show that she can hold here own against Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson, Erica Girardi (Erika Jayne), Yolanda Foster, Kathryn Edwards and Lisa Vanderpump. 

Though rumors have made the rounds about casting decisions for season seven, neither Andy Cohen nor Bravo have made any official statements about who is leaving, and who is staying.

While we wait for word on whether Holland is a go or not, let’s dream us some tag lines!

How about: “I dig for gold, then turn a profit.”

Or, “Live with a rich old man long enough, and your investment just might pay off.”

Mark Salling: Cut from Miniseries Due to Child Porn Charges

Mark Salling’s professional career is essentially over.

That’s what happens when you’re supposedly into child pornography.

A few days after Salling was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography (GROSS!), the actor was axed from the upcoming miniseries Gods and Secrets.

Not that he even needed to explain his decision, but director Adi Shankar issued a lengthy statement nonetheless.

Gods and Secrets will be moving forward without Mark Salling, he wrote. He has been cut from the mini-series, I will personally be paying for the reshoots, and I hope that Mark finds inner peace.

Furthermore, a percentage of profits from the project will go to a charity for abused children.

Pretty awesome, huh? Above and beyond for sure.

Back in December, Salling was arrested after police executed a search warrant and found endless images on his computer of underage children in various states of undress.

Salling is best known for his long-running role as Noah Puckerman on Glee.

Shankar continued:

Child abuse is a cultural cancer whose tentacles penetrate far deeper than a single celebrity caught with illicit images on his computer, just as date rape is a is a far more prominent issue than the repeated transgressions of one mediocre entertainer from the 1970’s.

Child abuse is a democratic disease existing across socioeconomic lines affecting every walk of life. It affects all of us, and more importantly, its existence needs to cease to exist. Period.

Amber Heard: Cops Are LYING to Protect Johnny Depp!

Last week, we learned that Amber Heard had requested a restraining order against Johnny Depp after accusing the actor of physically assaulting her during an altercation at the estranged couple’s home.

Heard was granted a temporary order of protection, but the situation only got more complex from there, as reps for both actors insisted that the other side was lying.

After friends of Depp’s accused Heard of blackmail, the actress decided that she wanted to do more than just make her ex pay in civil court.

Yesterday, lawyers for the 30-year-old revealed that Heard intends to file assault charges against Depp, a move that could carry major legal consequences for the beloved actor.

Unfortunately for Heard, she may have a tough time making her case, as the police that responded her friend’s 911 call on May 21 say they saw no signs of abuse.

The cops who responded to the call say they didn’t even realize that Heard was Depp’s wife (apparently Amber never mentioned her famous husband by name).

In their report they say they saw no signs of physical injury.

They also say Amber was reluctant to let them inside the apartment she shares with Depp.

Once they were inside, they saw no signs of destruction, which is interesting, as Heard claims Depp trashed the place during his drunken tantrum.

Now, TMZ is reporting that Heard believes the cops either didn’t do their job properly or they’re lying to protect Depp.

She says she can’t imagine how they missed the signs of injury to her face.

As for the destruction to the apartment, Heard claims she spoke with police in an adjoining unit, not the room where Depp became violent.

Thus far, Heard is the only one to provide sworn testimony regarding the events of that night.
