Tennessee Congressional Candidate Busted for Growing A TON of Weed

Flo Matheson wants to be elected to the 6th District congressional seat in Tennessee.

She also wants to smoke a $ hit ton of marijuana.

So now the question raised by Matheson is this: Can she have it both ways?!?

On May 20, police officers in Crossville, Tennessee, raided the home of Matheson, a Democrat who is running in that state’s Congressional primary.

According to authorities, they became aware of an indoor pot-growing operation on Matheson’s property and therefore obtained a search warrant that covered her residence and a barn on her land.

The investigation turned up more than 180 marijuana plants and various kinds of equipment, says Steve Harrington, someone who lives on Matheson’s property and admitted to growing the drug.

Crossville cops confiscated guns, cash and the pot in their search.

Matheson and Harrington also say the police took a generator, weed eater, pressure washer, TVs, a computer, van and a four-wheeler off the property.

The New York Daily News reports that Harrington and Matheson have both been indicted for running a grow operation…

… but don’t think this means Matheson is dropping out of her race.

“I really don’t regret that this happened,” she told a local NBC affiliated, explaining:

“It’s been a life-changing experience for me in that it has made me more defiant and determined to try and get these laws changed.”

Matheson – who owned up to the two ounces of marijuana found inside her home, but who says she was unaware of the giant operation out back – added:

“I smoke marijuana. I’m guilty. I did it… I guess I would say I smoke it about two or three times a week.”

Tennessee’s congressional primaries are scheduled for August 4.

We know of at least a few celebrities who would vote for her if they could…

Amy Duggar & Dillon King to Work Out Marriage Troubles on Couples Therapy?

Amy Duggar has always been known as “the rebellious Duggar,” but while she’s butted heads with her strict Uncle Jim Bob many times in the past, her latest business venture could be her biggest act of defiance to date.

Recently, several media outlets reported that Amy and husband Dillon King were filming scenes for an unspecified project in California.

Amy confirmed the news with an Instagram selfie, taken in SoCal and captioned, “#filming.”

Obviously, the Duggars film their TLC series in Arkansas, so the location raised a lot of eyebrows.

Clearly Amy and Dillon weren’t shooting scenes for Counting On, and even if the network gave them their own spinoff, it would probably shoot in Arkansas so that Amy’s more famous cousins could participate.

So what were the Kings doing in Los Angeles, and why did they have a camera crew with them?

Well, there’s reason to believe that Amy and Dillon decided to branch out on their own by filming a season of Couples Therapy for VH1.

Dillon posted the above photo earlier this week, along with a caption reading:

“Headed back home! LA was good to us but were ready to be back on AR soil @amyrachelleking #offset #home #goodtimes #safetravel”

Interestingly, Mob Wives star Renee Graziano commented on the pic wishing Amy and Dillon a safe flight.

So the Kings spent a full five weeks filming in LA, and they happen to make friends with another reality star.

You can see why fans think it’s no accident that their trip happened to coincide with the Couples Therapy filming schedule.

Of course, if you’ve seen Dr. Jenn Mann’s celebrity therapy-fest, you know it features some deeply troubled couples.

So does this mean the Kings are having trouble already?

Amy and Dillon just got married last year, and there haven’t been any reports of problems.

Of course, it’s worth noting that there have been rumors that Dillon is in massive debt, so he and Amy may have participated for purely financial reasons.

Gwen Stefani: Freaked Out Over Age Difference With Blake Shelton?

Maybe it was the KFC bucket?

Last week, a report claimed that Blake Shelton, 39, proposed to Gwen Stefani, 46, by hiding a $ 1.2 million Tiffany & Co. ring at the bottom of a KFC bucket.

“Gwen was very touched, but said she had to wait to make sure it was right for the kids,” a source told Radar Online.

Translation: “Why the f*** did you put a million-dollar ring in a bucket of KFC?”

JK, I’m sure she thought it was adorable, BUT THERE ARE REAL FEARS TO TALK ABOUT HERE.

“Gwen fears their age will get in the way of long-term happiness,” a source told the tabloid of the couple’s 7-year age difference.

Not only that, but Stefani’s age could very well prevent her from giving Shelton a child.  Rhe No Doubt frontwoman already has three boys with ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.

Because she’s a woman, and because a woman’s mind automatically goes right to the ex-wife and what made her different, Stefani is a little freaked out that she’s “14 years older than Blake’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert!”

Listen, sister – it’s not your fault he married a youth (no offense to Lambert.  She’s super.).

There’s also the issue of trust; Stefani was hit with rumor after rumor about Rossdale’s infidelities throughout their entire relationship.

“Gwen wants to trust Blake, but she fears it could come back and bite her,” the source said.

“She’s worried Blake won’t be happy in a marriage where he might never be a father.”

Perhaps these two lovebirds will take a page from their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” and take a risk in the name of love!

Or they could approach a potential engagement like two grown adults and determine if marriage is something they could commit to forever.

Take the plunge, Gwen.  Your fans want you to be happy.
