90 Day Fiance: Meet the Season 6 Couples!

Season Six of 90 Day Fiance is upon us, and the new couples bring something new to the table: babies.

Some couples on this series will make you believe in love again. Others will make you plead with your screen for them to break up.

Quite frankly, some of the more toxic couples might just deserve each other.

We"ve already seen the 90 Day Fiance Season 6 trailer, but now we"re learning a lot more about these couples.

1. Jonathan and Fernanda

90 day fiance jonathan and fernanda

Jonathan is a 32-year-old native of Lumberton, North Carolina, but when he met 19-year-old Fernanda in a club in Mexico, he extended his vacation to spend more time with her. Three months later, he proposed.

2. But . . .

90 day fiance jonathan and fernanda

They have a 13-year age gap and one of them is literally a teenager. They’re both adults, but hooking up on vacation is very different from getting married. Fernanda’s youth definitely comes up, while Jonathan is learning to leave behind his bachelor lifestyle.

3. Ashley and Jay

90 day fiance ashley and jay

Ashley (32) and Jay (20) met while she was in Jamaica for a friend’s wedding. They struck up a conversation on social media afterwards, and then she went back to visit him again. He proposed to her after only 8 days.

4. But …

90 day fiance ashley and jay

On top of the age difference between these two, there are concerns by Ashley’s loved ones that Jay may be a cheater. He certainly seems crazy about Ashley, but is it love or lust?

5. Colt and Larissa on 90 Day Fiance

90 day fiance colt and larissa

Colt is a 33-year-old Las Vegas native who hasn’t had the best luck with the ladies. Then he met 31-year-old Larissa of Brazil on social media. They met up in Mexico, where Colt proposed after only 5 days together.

6. But …

90 day fiance colt and larissa

In the nicest terms possible, Colt has been single for so long for a reason. Part of that is that he is a grown man who is accustomed to being taken care of by his mother. Will Larissa get along with his mom? Also, at least some of those closest to him think that Larissa has an ulterior motive.

90 Day Fiance Season 6 Trailer: See the New Couples!

90 Day Fiance is coming back!

The series that brought you Jorge and Anfisa and Danielle and Mohamed is returning for its sixth season.

Take a look at the explosive trailer and get to know the new couples. Which will make it, and which won"t even last the 90 days?

90 day fiance kalani and asuelu

First up, we have Kalani and Asuelu.

Kalani is 29 and comes from Orange County, California. Asuelu is 23 and is from Samoa.

This photogenic couple met when Kalani was on vacation in Samoa. One thing led to another, and the Mormon woman ended up losing her virginity to him.

She also got pregnant, and now the two of them have a 5-month-old.

Kalani"s family has their doubts, and it looks like cultural differences are going to play a huge role as they try to make this work.

90 day fiance jonathan and fernanda

Now, let"s talk about Jonathan and Fernanda.

Jonathan is 32, and comes from Lumberton, a small and very old city in North Carolina.

Fernanda is 19 years old and comes from Mexico.

The two met in a club in Mexico, and now they are engaged. Their age difference is raising some eyebrows — they"re both adults, but marriage is not the same thing as a hookup.

They got engaged only three months after meeting, but it looks like Fernanda may have some jealousy and maturity issues for them to work out.

90 day fiance colt and larissa

Next, there"s Colt and Larissa.

Colt is a 33-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Larissa is a 31-year-old from Brazil.

Colt began looking for a woman internationally after having a run of bad luck in searching for a partner while in the U.S. Some would consider that a huge red flag.

He is very close to his mother and hopes that his new bride will make a good impression with her.

It looks like others in Colt"s life are concerned that Larissa is just after his money.

90 day fiance ashley and jay

Ashley and Jay are definitely causing a stir among Ashley"s friends and family.

Ashley is 32, and comes from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Jay is only 20, and comes from Jamaica.

The two of them met in a club in Jamaica while Ashley was in town for a friend"s wedding. Now, they"re engaged.

These two have the exact same age gap as Jonathan and Fernanda, but since no one is a teenager, it doesn"t look like that will be the focus.

It looks like Ashley"s loved ones are concerned that Jay is a womanizer or even a cheater. Fans hope, of course, that their suspicion is not fueled by racism.

90 day fiance eric and leida

Eric and Leida are certainly putting a fun twist on the kinds of stories that we expect to see.

Eric is 40 and comes from Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Leida is 29 and comes from Indonesia, where she lives with her son and with her wealthy family.

The fun twist that we mentioned is that Leida, though not American by birth, is accustomed to living with a certain degree of wealth.

Eric, in the mean time, lives … a little like a college student. And it looks like Eric"s children aren"t certain of Leida"s intentions.

90 day fiance steven and olga

Steven and Olga seem like they might be the most toxic couple of this new season. At least, that"s the impression that we"re getting from the trailer.

Steven is 20 and comes from Bowie, Maryland.

Ogla is also 20 and comes from Moscow, Russia. They met when she was vacationing in the U.S.

She quickly became pregnant when they hooked up, and are now raising their baby in America.

From the trailer, it looks like Steven takes a harsh view of their relationship and of Olga, which she finds very hurtful. These two could be painful to watch.

All the Teen Mom Couples: RANKED From Worst to First!

Ranking Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 couples through the years is a challenging, arduous task, but one The Hollywood Gossip is up for.

Hey, someone"s gotta.

If you"re a fan of the MTV franchise, you"ve seen quite a few significant others come and go, while some have been longtime staples.

Some relationships have been terrific, while others were (or are) utter train wrecks. Here, we break them all down from worst to first.

NOTE: Due to his tragic death before Farrah Abraham gave birth to their daughter Sophia, Derek Underwood has been left off this list.

Also notably absent is Andrew Lewis, the father of Jenelle Evans" son Jace, and a man of whom almost nothing is known to this day.

Everyone else, however, is fair game … from the present to the distant past! Who do you think ranks number one? Do you agree?

25. Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers

Courtland and jenelle

The worst of the worst right here. Even by her standards, Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers were a total and complete disaster … worse than any couple in franchise history. Multiple arrests, massive drug abuse, one long stint in prison and a pregnancy that ended in an abortion tell you all you need to know. Jenelle, who has kids by three other sketchy dudes, would not go there with Courtland. Enough said.

24. Jenelle Evans and Kieffer Delp

Jenelle evans kieffer delp pic

Jenelle Evans and Kieffer Delp weren’t much better. It’s really amazing that she survived some of these toxic relationships to become as stable as she is today (which is relatively unstable by regular person standards, sure, but much improved). Delp, to his credit, did give us Barbara Evans’ hilarious pronunciation of his name during her frequent rants to Jenelle at least. YA HIGH! YA BOTH HIGH! I SEE YOU WIFF KIEFFAH!! Classic.

23. Amber Portwood and Matt Baier

Matt baier and amber photo

Where do we even begin with this disaster? Amber Portwood’s boyfriend/fiance/Deadbeat Dad Extraordinaire Matt Baier has the dubious distinction of being SO BEYOND BAD for her that we’re ranking her relationship with her high school boyfriend – who she beat on camera – much higher on this list. It’s frankly amazing that Amber and Matt lasted as long as they did, considering how he hit on other Teen Mom cast members, had betweeen 7-9 kids from previous relationships, was never fully honest about his addiction issues, is 20 years her senior, and failed a lie detector test.

22. Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards

Maci bookout ryan edwards and bentley

Ryan Edwards, for a time, competed for the title of the worst of the worst, the absolute lowest guy on the Teen Mom ladder. He’s still battling drug abuse, if you believe his exes (including Maci Bookout). He has made some strides in the parenting department, and is married to what seems like a nice girl in Mackenzie Standifer (more on that later), but Maci and Ryan were not a good match and have feuded for years. Years. He’s got a plethora of issues, too.

21. Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith

Nathan griffith photo

Yes, Evans is in a league of her own with these winners. This one fathered her second child and is engaged in a never-ending battle for custody of Kaiser. Nathan is no prize himself, of course, so that’s tantamount to a war of attrition. Por Kaiser. This list is not all Jenelle, we swear. Eventually, the couples improve somewhat.

20. Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez

Chris lopez on teen mom 2

Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez dated for like a few weeks, and he wouldn’t even show his face on Teen Mom 2, but they were a couple at one point, and she did have his baby, so … he’s been around a little bit here and there since she had his child and hopefully will take to fatherhood more than it initially seemed. Kail likes to complain that he’s just an “Instagram dad” but at least he’s shown some effort at all, and he and Kail apparently still bone from time to time, so there’s that. Not a healthy or normal situation at all, but he still has so much opportunity to prove himself as this relationship plays out, so here’s hoping.

The Bachelorette Couples: Ranked By Relationship Length!

If The Bachelorette spoilers are any indication, Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen from Season 14 may have a real shot at love that lasts.

Specific issues regarding Garrett"s social media history aside, the two seem head over heels in love, so the odds of a wedding are good.

Or at least better than average.

If you just look at the venerable franchise"s track record, Becca and Garrett"s chances for long-term success are mixed at best.

Why do we say that?

Isn"t it obvious? This is a dating competition throwing two people together under a pretense that is literally impossible to sustain.

Can they transition into real life, establish a new normal and make it work? They can, but often times, they fall short of that goal.

We have ranked the 14 stars of The Bachelorette based on who was most successful at finding love during her stint as ABC"s queen.

See how they stack up from worst to first, and tell us whether you think Barrett will end up a success story or cautionary tale …

1. Jen Schefft

Jen schefft

Bachelorette Jen Schefft broke up with winner Jerry Ferris on the After the Rose special because she just “wasn’t feeling it.” Not even making it to the day after the finale? That’s a low bar set for everyone else.

2. Emily Maynard

Emily maynard bachelorette photo

Emily Maynard and Jef Holm broke up just a few months after his proposal in 2012. He was never the right guy anyway. Should’ve picked Sean Lowe. Not that she or Sean (who is happily married to Catherine Giudici, who he met on The Bachelor) are overthinking it right now. Emily has since married and had a bunch of kids with Tyler Johnson.

3. Becca Kufrin

Becca kufrin and garrett yrigoyen engagement pic

It’s too soon to tell how long Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen will last, but they’re off to a good start? They’re one of seven Bachelorette couples still together, by our calculations, including the last three.

4. Andi Dorfman

Andi dorfman and josh murray on the bachelorette

Andi Dorfman found love with Josh Murray on The Bachelorette. Unfortunately, their engagement ended after only six months or so.

5. DeAnna Pappas

Deanna pappas stephen stagliano picture

DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak broke up seven months after their finale aired. She went on to marry Stephen Stagliano, a high school teacher and the twin brother of former Bachelorette contestant Mike Stagliano!

6. Jillian Harris

Bachelorette jillian harris

Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski broke up one year after their finale aired. Swiderski later appeared on Bachelor Pad. Jillian now appears on HGTV’s Love it or List it Too.

90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days - Meet the New Couples!

90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days is back with its second season.

This reality series follows international couples before they begin the 90 day K-1 visa process. Some of them meet for the very first time on camera.

Some relationships are clearly built to last. Others don"t even make it to American soil.

Some of the couples that you"re about to see are familiar, while others are new.

Take a look and decide for yourself who will make it.

1. Season 2 is here!

90 day fiance before the 90 days

Some of these names are so familiar that they’ll make your blood boil. Others are so new that we’re not even sure if both people involved are real. …

2. Tarik and Hazel

Tarik and hazel

Tarik (42) is an American father. Hazel (23) lives in the Philippines. The two met on an Asian dating app. Tarik’s brother is heavily skeptical of Hazel’s true motives, while Tarik is eager to get married — though a little hesitant about cultural differences, because he is not religious.

3. Daya

Daya from 90 day fiance

This is Daya (26). He is from Algeria. He hails from a strict Muslim family and does not speak English, but he loves Marta.

4. Marta

Marta on 90 day fiance

Marta (30) is a stripper from WIsconsin who supports two children. She and Daya have been calling each other “husband” and “wife,” but can he really accept her career?

5. Angela and Michael

Angela and michael

Angela (52) is American, while Michael (30) is Nigerian. Angela has six grandchildren (yes, at only 52), but was inspired when Michael reached out to her. Some of her family are suspicious of his motives.

6. Darcey and Jesse

Darcey and jesse

Darcey (42) and Jesse (24) are, of course, infamous. She’s from the US and he is from Amsterdam and these two seem to be constantly arguing. Sometimes, those squabbles spill over onto social media.

Derick Dillard to Bakers: Don"t Make Cakes for Gay Couples!

Derick Dillard is celebrating what he believes to be a victory for religious freedom.

And what others believe to be another example of persecution against the LGBT community.

On Monday the United States Supreme Court ruled in favor of a Colorado baker who had refused to create a wedding cake for a gay couple.

By a 7-2 margin, the Justices sided with Jack Phillips, who argued that his religious objection to same-sex marriage provided him with the First Amendment right to turn down the request of these patrons.

However, rather than determine whether religious artisans and businesses have a right to discriminate based on their beliefs, Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote a majority opinion that focused SOLELY on the case at hand.

He specifically stated that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission had not treated the baker fairly because various commissioners had made disparaging remarks about his religious beliefs.

In other words:

Phillips was actually discriminated against by a board that proved to be hostile toward religion.

This may not be the case if another baker refuses another gay couple and the debate once again finds its way to the Supreme Court.

But this was a nuanced point very much lost on Dillard.

“Today’s 7-2 Supreme Court decision is a huge victory for religious freedom,” he Tweeted last night, adding:

“Government cannot and should not discriminate against religious faith; it is a constitutional right.”

Again: this is not what the Supreme Court just decided.

But whatever.

The more relevant celebrity gossip fact here is how this message is yet another instance of Dillard slamming the gay and trans community.

In May, Dillard said trandgender individuals are mentally ill.

Last August, Dillard said the entire concept of transgender is a myth, Tweeting in regard to the reality show I Am Jazz, which chronicles the life of a transgender teenager:

“What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God.”

Dillard eventually got fired by TLC for these kinds of controversial comments.

He also got destroyed by a distant cousin named John Andrew Studdard.

“Derick needs to keep his mouth shut,” this astute person recently said, adding:

“We don’t have to agree with someone’s life, but don’t speak out publically when you know you’re already disliked by half of America. As a public figure, he should stop being so harsh.”

As a human being, he should stop being so hars.

But this is still a pretty solid statement.

For what it’s worth, Justice Kennedy explained that this Colorado baker case was not mean to set national policy or a national agenda when it comes to the topic of religious freedom or gay rights.

“The outcome of cases like this in other circumstances must await further elaboration in the courts,” he wrote, elaborating as follows:

“All in the context of recognizing that these disputes must be resolved with tolerance, without undue disrespect to sincere religious beliefs, and without subjecting gay persons to indignities when they seek goods and services in an open market.”

Hear that, Derick?!?

Sigh. Why do we feel as if you definitely did not?

The Bachelor & Bachelorette Couples: Who"s Still Together?

The Bachelor"s 2018 season came to a close with Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Becca Kufrin engaged and totally, utterly, blissfully in love.

Or something. According to The Bachelor spoilers, that relationship would end and he would spurn Becca for runner-up Lauren Burnham.

This turned out to be correct.

Arie and Becca lasted a matter of weeks, and his breakup with her was filmed for the world to see. Raw. Unedited. Uncut.

Didn"t see that twist coming, though Arie"s reputation preceded him, and we can"t say this bodes well for Lauren B. either.

Will they be a new golden couple for the show, a la Trista and Ryan, Ashley and J.P., Jason and Molly and Desiree and Chris?

Or another Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi? Or … Arie and Becca?

Sorry, too soon.

The point is, we can"t help but wonder as we ponder the future: Who is still living happily ever after at this point? Who is not?

You don"t need The Bachelor or The Bachelorette spoilers to tell you that the "made it" list is a lot shorter than the other.

Take a look at notable duos from The Bachelor and Bachelorette and see whether they"re still together since the show:

1. Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham

Arie luyendyk jr and lauren burnham in iceland

Yes, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are still together. Right now. For the moment. As of this report. It’s only been a few weeks since they’ve gone public, however, and needless to say, the consensus is that Becca Kufrin dodged a bullet and that Lauren might have her heart broken next. We’re not rooting for that sad outcome, but just saying … it’s Arie.

2. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo

Rachel lindsay engagement ring

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are a match made in heaven … or are they? Bachelor Nation seemed to prefer runner-up Peter Kraus, but Rachel went with the smooth (too smooth for some fans’ liking) doctor from Miami at the last minute. If Bryan didn’t watch the finale, which centered primarily on Peter waffling over his willingness to propose and Rachel being hung up on him? Then they might be alright.

3. Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi

Nick and vanessa on atfr

Look … we wished Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi all the best. That was just the least inspiring public debut from a Bachelor couple since Juan Pablo and Nikki, and it never got much better before they eventually broke up. Come on, people. We were talking about Nick Viall, who was clearly bitten hard by the fame bug, and fell for a girl who didn’t want to be in the “business” or leave Canada, where he had no interest in moving. Just saying. The odds made them a definite underdog from the start, and their five-month relationship proved skeptics correct.

4. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers

Jordan rodgers and jojo fletcher after the final rose

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are an interesting case, both seemingly over the moon in love and behind the proverbial eight ball since day one. They certainly seem to have weathered whatever storms have been in their path thus far, but it’s still in the “honeymoon” phase, and we can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to Aaron’s little brother than we know – or that JoJo does at this point. Chances they’ll make it to the altar? 50-50.

5. Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell

Ben higgins and lauren b

It was a good year, closer to a year and a half actually, which is a long time for any relationship, and Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell recently called out what they deemed as “fake news” that said they had broken up … but they canceled their wedding and just admitted that they broke up. #realnews

6. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth

Kaitlyn bristowe and shawn booth

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth have looked the part of the happy couple ever since they got engaged in August 2015. But will their engagement actually last and stand the test of time? The show’s track record suggests otherwise … but here we are a year and a half later, so the joke’s on us?

Little People, Big World Couples (Sort Of) Clash, Awkwardness Ensures

Last Friday night should have been an occasion to celebrate for the Roloffs.

As documented on Instagram, family-member-to-be Isabel Rock was fortunate enough to have some of her work included in an art show, which prompted nearly the entire Roloff clan to stop by Abbey Creek Vineyard & Winery in Portland in a show of support.

But this was the entire problem:

Nearly the entire Roloff clan stopped by Abbey Creek Vineyard & Winery in Portland in a show of support.

Those in attendance included Isabel’s fiance, of course, Jacob, along with the relatives from whom he is no longer estranged.

Audrey Roloff was on hand. So was Tori Roloff. And so were Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff, the anchors of TLC’s Little People, Big World who got divorced in May of 2016.

Both Amy and Matt have moved on to new significant others and they get along pretty well on camera.

However, Amy made it pretty clear last season that she doesn’t want her boyfriend, Chris Marek, to ever have to mingle with Matt’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler.

It would just be very awkward, you know?

But this unwanted situation couldn’t be avoided over the weekend, as you can see in the photos above and below.

Way up top is a picture of Matt, Caryn, Jacob and Isabel.

Immediately above is a picture of Amy, Chris, Jacob and Isabel.

Sources say the couples didn’t really interact much, keeping their distance from each other for most of the night.

But have you ever been to an art gallery?

It’s not typically a very large space, meaning there must have been at least a few instances in which small talk had to be exchanged.

Which is a shame, really, because this evening really should have been all about Rock. Her dad even stopped by!

“I am just so abundantly grateful for the opportunities that art has given me,” Rock wrote on Instagram, adding:

“Also the outpouring of love and support from my friends and family. This feels right. I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

While Amy and Matt have always said the right things about each other in public, there have been Internet rumblings that tension does exist, largely because Chandler knows Amy pretty well and has for awhile.

She met Matt because she formerly worked as a manager at the family farm.

Back in October, Chandler hosted a party for her boyfriend and allegedly snubbed Amy, causing a near-riot among fans online.

So, again, we can only imagine how awkward things were late last week when everyone came together.

Fortunately, it does seem as though all Roloffs absolutely adore Isabel, who confirmed her engagement to Jacob in January.

She fits right in with the family and we’d have to assume most members put aside any differences in order to celebrate this pretty cool milestone with her.

At least we hope that was the case.

In related news, TLC made it official this week: Little People, Big World returns with new episodes on April 3!

Michelle & Jim Bob Duggar: Slammed For "Ditching" Kids For Couples Vacation

This may come as a surprise, but in the Duggar family, Valentine’s Day is a very big deal.

It’s more than a little counter-intuitive – after all, one doesn’t think of a family that bans all forms of premarital physical contact as being big on romance.

But the Duggars have their own take on the original Hallmark holiday.

Instead of viewing it as a celebration of love between a man and a woman, they view it as a time to renew their relationship with God.

Of course, the Duggars basically see everything as a time to renew their relationship with God, so we guess that should come as no surprise.

Anyway, the whole family usually gets together to celebrate Valentine’s Day on the Duggar compound.

But it seems this year, Michelle and Jim Bob will be breaking with tradition and getting away just the two of them.

It’s probably the most normal thing they’ve ever done.

So naturally, fans are all freaked out about it.

Yes, it seems JB and Michelle will be jetting off to beautiful St. Johns Michigan for an exotic “date night” on the shores of Lake … oh, it seems St. Johns is right in the center of the state.

Um … maybe they’ll spot a moose?

Anyway, the couple shared their plans on their website today, because just as they see every special occasion as a religious rite in disguise, they also see every holiday as a money-making opportunity.

The Duggars will apparently be speaking at a church in the area, and as with all of their speaking engagements, tickets are going fast.

“You don’t want to miss this great event!” an ad on their website teases.

In the past, the Duggars not only celebrated V-Day as a family, they also threw a banquet for single moms, which is actually a really nice gesture.

“It’s a really special time with the whole family getting around the table and spending time together,” Michelle wrote of the holiday in a 2010 blog post.

“It was our way of expressing our gratefulness and our love for each other and the family, and celebrating how much family means to us,” she added.

“It’s so important to nurture that relationship.”

Emphasis on “was,” we guess.

For reasons that aren’t entirely clear, there was a rumor circulating that this year, the family would announce that Jana Duggar is courting.

She has been spending a lot of time with Caleb Williams lately, but we’re not sure why Duggar obsessives thought her family would break the big news on Valentine’s Day.

Guess they’ll just have to wait another year for that relationship confirmation.

Unless, of course, Jana and Celeb decide to just announce their relationship whenever, which would make perfect sense.

Watch Counting On online for more bizarre Duggar traditions.
