Michelle & Jim Bob Duggar: Slammed For "Ditching" Kids For Couples Vacation
This may come as a surprise, but in the Duggar family, Valentine’s Day is a very big deal.
It’s more than a little counter-intuitive – after all, one doesn’t think of a family that bans all forms of premarital physical contact as being big on romance.
But the Duggars have their own take on the original Hallmark holiday.
Instead of viewing it as a celebration of love between a man and a woman, they view it as a time to renew their relationship with God.
Of course, the Duggars basically see everything as a time to renew their relationship with God, so we guess that should come as no surprise.
Anyway, the whole family usually gets together to celebrate Valentine’s Day on the Duggar compound.
But it seems this year, Michelle and Jim Bob will be breaking with tradition and getting away just the two of them.
It’s probably the most normal thing they’ve ever done.
So naturally, fans are all freaked out about it.
Yes, it seems JB and Michelle will be jetting off to beautiful St. Johns Michigan for an exotic “date night” on the shores of Lake … oh, it seems St. Johns is right in the center of the state.
Um … maybe they’ll spot a moose?
Anyway, the couple shared their plans on their website today, because just as they see every special occasion as a religious rite in disguise, they also see every holiday as a money-making opportunity.
The Duggars will apparently be speaking at a church in the area, and as with all of their speaking engagements, tickets are going fast.
“You don’t want to miss this great event!” an ad on their website teases.
In the past, the Duggars not only celebrated V-Day as a family, they also threw a banquet for single moms, which is actually a really nice gesture.
“It’s a really special time with the whole family getting around the table and spending time together,” Michelle wrote of the holiday in a 2010 blog post.
“It was our way of expressing our gratefulness and our love for each other and the family, and celebrating how much family means to us,” she added.
“It’s so important to nurture that relationship.”
Emphasis on “was,” we guess.
For reasons that aren’t entirely clear, there was a rumor circulating that this year, the family would announce that Jana Duggar is courting.
She has been spending a lot of time with Caleb Williams lately, but we’re not sure why Duggar obsessives thought her family would break the big news on Valentine’s Day.
Guess they’ll just have to wait another year for that relationship confirmation.
Unless, of course, Jana and Celeb decide to just announce their relationship whenever, which would make perfect sense.

Amber Portwood: Mom-Shamed After "Ditching" Daughter!
Like pretty much every other year of her adult life, 2017 was a tumultuous one for Amber Portwood.
In the past 12 months, Amber broke up with Matt Baier, finally calling it quits after their relationship publicly self-destructed for like the 400th time.
These days, Amber is pregnant with Andrew Glennon"s baby, and the couple is reportedly considering marriage.
Portwood has so many storylines these days that Teen Mom: OG fans might forget that she already has a kid.

Portwood and Baier parted ways on the set of Marriage Boot Camp, and Amber immediately entered a relationship with Andrew Glennon, a producer on the show. These days, she’s pregnant with Glennon’s baby.

Things seem to have stabilized a bit for Amber in recent months, but a recent episode of Teen Mom: OG reminded fans that until very recently, her life was in a state of disarray.

Jenelle Evans: Ditching David Eason For Courtland Rogers?!
Rumors that Jenelle Evans and David Eason are headed for divorce have been circulating for several weeks now.
The couple insists all is well, but the fact that David recently changed his relationship status on Facebook before deleting his account entirely suggests something is amiss.

Kim Kardashian: Ditching Kanye West on Valentine"s Day?
Well, it’s Valentine’s Day, which means that if you haven’t already done something special for your significant other, either you’re a woman, so you don’t have to worry about it, or you’re a man, and you may want to start setting up a Tinder profile.
Of course, there might be extenuating circumstances.
You could be Kanye West, in which case you may not have shelled out for flowers and candy because you don’t where the hell your wife is.
Kim and Kanye are both in New York for the city’s Fashion Week, but sources say that unlike in years past, Kanye will not be doing any partying in the run-up to his latest Yeezy fashion show.
In fact, if Kim kad her way, he wouldn’t be in New York at all.
“Kim does not think that Kanye should be doing this and they had a huge fight about it,” a source told Radar exclusively.
“Kanye has disobeyed her because she told him he is not to be doing anything stressful and he continues to push her buttons.”
Yes, according to those closest to the couple Kim controls Kanye these days, and she’s apparently beyond pissed by the fact that he’s chosen to follow her to NYC.
As punishment or part of a compromise (depending on whom you ask), Kanye reportedly has to stay in the hotel when he’s not engaged in activities direclty linked to his fashion show.
Kim, on the other hand, is still free to party, and she’s reportedly planning on exercising that right tonight, romantic holiday be damned.
Insiders say Kim has no intention of spending the night with Kanye tonight, but she assumes he had nothing planned anyway.
“Kim does not think that Kanye is going to do anything special for her because he is so wrapped up in his show tomorrow.”
Sources say the rapper is all about reclaiming his independence through small, passive-aggressive acts of disobedience.
Going to New York against Kim’s wishes was one such act of rebellion.
And apparently, Kanye’s blonde hair was another.
“[Kim] hates his blonde hair so he goes and dyes his hair blonde,” a source tells Radar.
It seems Kim believes Kanye – who was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation in November – is still not stable enough to be back to work, and she’s afraid a public failure might crush him.
“She does not want him to be doing anything that will bring her bad press and she knows that this fashion show is going to tank and that he will be the laughing stock of NYFW,” the insider told Radar.
“But she has done all that she can to save him.”

Kylie Jenner: Ditching Family to Move to NYC?!
Kylie Jenner has done a lot of shocking things over the years.
We’ve watched the 18-year-old slowly transform into Kim Kardashian, date a creepy Z-list rapper, and treat her lips like some sort of science experiment.
But through it all, Kylie has had the full support of her family, having spent her life in the same Calabasas gated community that’s home to her mother and famous sisters.
Now, however, it looks as though Kylie may be ready to strike out on her own, as OK! magazine is reporting that the selfie queen is moving to New York City in order to put some distance between herself and the rest of the Kard clan.
Kylie recently bought a $ 2.7 million mansion (as one does at 18), but it even that didn’t bring the kind of privacy she desires.
“Kylie wants to escape,” an insider tells the tabloid. “She thought moving into her own house might make things better but it’s only gotten worse.”
Not surprisingly, Kylie’s desire to get out of Dodge is a result of the tension caused by Rob Kardashian’s relationship with Blac Chyna.
“Kim’s pressuring her to make peace with Blac while her mom’s pressuring her to keep hating on her because she wants Blac and Rob on the show,” says the source.
“She’s being used and no one’s thinking of her feelings as usual.”
And Kylie thinks she can extricate herself from all this just by moving 3,000 miles away?!
We imagine that when she proposed the idea to her mom, Kris just cackled maniacally and stroked a Persian cat like some sort of heavily-Botoxed Bond villain.

Scott Disick: Ditching Kourtney Kardashian For New Year"s Eve Party in Vegas?
It’s been over a month since Scott Disick completed rehab, and sources say the 32-year-old father of three is legitimately serious about staying sober this time.
Unfortunately, he’s also committed to making club appearances for cash, and many are worried that the Lord won’t be able to resist the temptation of VIP bottle service for much longer.
According to Radar Online, Disick is planning to hit Vegas for New Year’s Eve, and Kourtney Kardashian is worried sick that he’ll wind up falling off the wagon.
“He begged Kourtney to go,” a source tells the website.
The insider adds that Scott asked Kourtney to join him in Sin City in order to help him stay away from the sauce, but she refused, and has asked him to simply back out of the gig.
Sources say Chris Brown has been serving as Scott’s sober coach, but Breezy will be performing elsewhere on New Year’s.
“As of right now, Kourtney is not going to go with Scott to Las Vegas to support him,” the source says. “Honestly, she wants nothing to do with this party.”
Scott has reportedly attempted to guilt trip Kourtney, blaming his decision to go to Vegas on her plans to party with her friends.
“Kourtney and Scott have spent every single New Year’s Eve together since they became a couple,” the insider says.
“He told her that the only reason that he is doing this gig is because he could not stand to be at home while she goes out and has fun.”
Of course, after years of staying home with the couple’s kids while Scott traveled the world and partied with his friends, it’s not surprising that Kourtney was having none of that excuse.

Khloe Kardashian: Ditching Lamar Odom For James Harden?
In the weeks since Lamar Odom nearly died from a drug overdose, the former NBA star’s relationship with Khloe Kardashian has experienced many ups and downs.
First, it was reported that Khloe and Lamar had called off their divorce.
Shortly thereafter, there were rumors that Khloe stormed out of the hospital after Lamar received a visit from his drug dealer.
Not long after that, several sources claimed that Khloe is still dating James Harden.
Now, Radar Online is confirming the news with reports of Khloe traveling to Texas to spend some alone time with Harden.
“[Khloe and James} have been spending quiet time together this week in Houston,” says one insider.
Bizarrely, the source claims Odom is cool with James and Khloe’s “quiet time.”
“James gives Khloe the space to do what she needs to do,” the insider says. “He is comfortable enough with their relationship. Khloe had been in contact with James daily in the days after Lamar had overdosed and was in a coma.”
Apparently, Khloe initially decided to dump James and give Lamar another chance, but changed her mind after seeing that Lamar is still up to his old tricks.
“It became clear to Khloe very quickly after Lamar woke up, and the days went on, that he wasn’t going to be changing any time soon,” the source says.
“Calling his drug dealer to the hospital was the final straw for Khloe.”
The insider adds that Khloe plans to continue to be there for Lamar and support him during his recovery. She’s reportedly made it clear to him, however, that their relationship will remain purely platonic.
