Jordan Cashmyer: Troubled 16 and Pregnant Star Checks Into Rehab

While it’s all well and good that 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom have reduced the rate of teen pregnancy, they can also exacerbate pre-existing issues. 

One star from the former franchise has been on a downward spiral battling her own demons ever since.

Jordan Cashmyer appeared on season five of the groundbreaking documentary.  She and her then-boyfriend, Derek Taylor got pregnant, and Cashmyer gave birth to a daughter, Genevieve.

Now, TMZ reports, Cashmyer has entered a rehab facility in Baltimore after coming home to her mother’s house so drunk, she fell on the floor and gave herself a concussion.

Cashmyer reportedly realized she had to “get her life together.”

The former reality was a stripper for some time in Baltimore.  After wanting to improve her life, she was hired to work at a gym.

It’s believed she was fired from the gym for being drunk on the job.

Back in February, Cashmyer updated fans on her struggles.

“I suffered from very bad post-partum depression. While trying to get this issue under control, I started working at a [strip] club, a place that would completely alter my life in ways I never thought,”Cashmyer wrote in a blog post.

“For the past two years I have struggled with addiction…I practically used my body as a trashcan and would put whatever was given to me in my body.”

At the time, Cashmyer insisted she was sober.

“I have been clean for a little over five weeks and see a substance abuse counselor every other week to prevent relapse,” she wrote. “I have also not set foot in a club since two days after my first first full day of being clean.”

Taylor spoke out about Cashmyer, claiming that she never sees their daughter, Genevieve, who lives with him and his family.

“…realistically it makes no difference because Jordan isn’t a mother and she never will be!” Taylor tweeted.

“Not to mention Genevieve doesn’t even know who Jordan is.”

Courtney Stodden: Naked and Pregnant on Instagram!

As you may have heard, Courtney Stodden is pregnant with her first child.

As you might also be aware, the girl loves getting naked on the internet, and she clearly has no intention of allowing impending motherhood get in the way of her one true passion.

Courtney posted the above photo yesterday because … Oh, like she needs a reason!

The sight of Courtney Stodden naked is nothing new, and in a way, it’s comforting to know some things will never change.

Court captioned the post simply “#VideoOfTheDay,” and she followed it up with this pic:

Which was captioned – you guessed it! – “#PicOfTheDay.”

We hate to let an a–hole with a gun affect our enjoyment of something as pure and natural as Courtney’s latest round of racy Instagram posts, but there’s an elephant in the room here that must be addressed:

Court posted these pics not long after the horrific news of the Orlando nightclub shooting spread across social media, and the comments reflect a deep confusion over her timing.

To be clear: we’re not accusing Courtney of being insensitive to tragedy.

In fact, she’s been an outspoken LGBT advocate throughout her career, and it’s entirely possible these pics were set to post well before she received word of the tragedy.

We’re just saying that Courtney – or whoever manages her social media account – might want to do more to ensure that her posts “#OfTheDay” aren’t confusingly inappropriate.

The comments on both of the above posts are mostly related to the Orlando shootings, and some of them give Courtney credit for spreading some joy on a day in which reasons to smile were in short supply.

“You’re adorable,” one fan wrote. “And make me smile even thought the world is a mess. Bless Orlando!”

Maybe that was Courtney’s intention.

Or maybe she takes a “set and forget” approach to her social media pages.

Whatever the case, she now has a pair of racy posts with comments about the worst mass shooting in U.S. history – and that’s just bizarre.

J.K. Rowling Mourns Orlando Victim with Harry Potter Connection

Luis Vielma was one of 50 people who was killed Saturday night inside Pure nightclub.

Along with numerous other patrons, Vielma was enjoying an evening out when Omar Mateen used an assault rifle to gun down as many gay customers as he could.

It was the largest shooting massacre in U.S. history.

Because Vielma worked at Universal Studios’ Harry Potter World, his death was acknowledged by author J.K Rowling in the aftermath of this despicable tragedy.

“Luis Vielma worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal,” the Harry Potter scribe wrote on Twitter. “He was 22 years old. I can’t stop crying.”

As you can see below, Rowling include with her message a photo of Vielma in his work attire:

Rowling also shares memories from Vielma’s friends, loved ones and those who met him at Universal Studios.

“@jk_rowling Trust me, you would have loved him. He was the guy in the breakroom you liked four seconds after walking in,” one user wrote, while another added:

“@jk_rowling @JMuniz822 had the pleasure of meeting him last week on my holidays, he was SO nice to my son, such a lovely guy.”

Reaction continues to pour in from the Orlando shooting.

From what we’ve gathered so far, it appears as if Mateen acted alone.

His father claims his son was spurred on to horrible action by the sight of two gay men kissing a couple months ago.

Mateen, a U.S. citizen born in New York, called 911 at one point during his attack and bragged about all the American lives he was taking.

He also aligned himself with ISIS, the terrorist organization that later took credit for the attack.

We can also confirm that Mateen’s ex-wife says he abused her during their marriage and that Mateen had been interviewed on two separate occasions by the FBI because they suspected he had links to terrorist activities.

Nevertheless, he was able to purchase multiple firearms legally.

Orlando Shooting: 50 Killed in Massacre at Gay Nightclub

Shortly after Rowling paid tribute to Vielma, meanwhile, Universal Studios Orlando released a statement regarding his death.

It reads as follows:

“We are deeply saddened over the loss of our team member. We are working to support his friends and colleagues here at Universal Orlando.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Luis, his family, and all the victims of this tragedy.”

Tennessee Man Arrested For DUI While Wearing Chastity Belt

A drunk driver in Tennessee got pulled over this weekend, at which point officers observed that the dude was wearing an actual chastity belt.

Tennessee Highway Patrol officers pulled over Curtis Eidam on suspicion of drunk driving, then realized this wasn’t a standard DUI.

Bobby Joe Higgs, an investigator for the Anderson County District Attorney General’s office, described it to the Knoxville News Sentinel. 

The 35-year-old suspect was wearing “some kind of red mesh see-through hose” with a ribbon tied in his goatee and “some kind of little skirt.”

Need we say more? Actually, yes we need to.

Eidam also sported a chastity belt around his private parts, though cops were focused on his alcohol-tinged odor and bloodshot, watery eyes.

The belt was not revealed to them until later.

Eidam allegedly admitted drinking 4-5 shots in the preceding four hours, according to media reports, putting him over the legal limit.

A breathalyzer test of his blood-alcohol level backed up his claim – .117 is legally drunk, but we’ve seen worse – and he was detained.

Officers – who also noticed a handgun in the center console – didn’t discover the aforementioned chastity belt until booking Eidam, however.

The suspect mentioned that he really needed a key … that was in his vehicle, because it unlocked a “device” he was wearing at the time.

Eidam said one key was in his car and the other around the neck of his driving companion, who was also visibly intoxicated but not arrested.

They djd retrieve the key for him. All in a day’s work.

After many raised eyebrows and probably a few laughs, Eidam was charged with charged with DUI and gun possession under the influence.

He was taken to the Anderson County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court July 12 … hopefully without the chastity device this time.

A chastity belt, if you’re unaware, is defined as a garment or device worn around the pelvic area to prevent a person from having sex.

Such things were originally used by strident Christian parents looking to literally lock down their kids’ feverish masturbatory tendencies.

According to the Internet, they are also used as pleasure denying tools in BDSM relationships, which sounds like the dumbest thing ever.
