Blake Heron Dies; Troubled Actor Was 35 Years Old
Blake Heron, a former child actor best known for his role of Marty Preston in the 1996 film Shiloh, was found dead on Friday morning.
He was 35 years old.
According to TMZ and other outlets, Heron’s body was discovered by his girlfriend inside the actor’s Los Angeles area home.
After a call to 911 was placed, paramedics reportedly spent 40 minutes trying to revive Heron, but it was too late and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department tells E! News that the aforementioned call came in around 7:05 a.m. regarding an unidentified man who was not breathing.
In the ensuing hours, Heron’s rep confirmed Blake’s passing to multiple websites and television stations.
Heron had been sick for the past few days and had also battled a heroin addiction.
He just completed a stint in rehab mere days ago.
TMZ writes that responders did not find illegal drugs or evidence that alcohol had been consumed.
Prescriptions for the flu were found at the scene, but it’s unclear at the moment whether anything Heron ingested contributed to his death.
Following Shiloh, Heron landed bit roles in movies and television projects; including We Were Soldiers, Boston Public and 11:14.
He recently co-starred in A Thousand Junkies, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2017.
“I started doing drugs when I was about 12, typical smoking weed at first and drinking and what not. It quickly progressed,” Heron said this past April, adding at the time:
“I lost everything. I lost my career, I lost all of my money, I lost possessions, and most importantly, I lost myself. I felt like I lost my soul.
Our thoughts go out to the loved ones of Blake Heron.
May he rest in peace.

Chris Soules Criminal Record: An In-Depth Look at His Troubled Past
In the most stunning celebrity news story of the week, Chris Soules has been arrested for leaving the scene of a fatal car crash that left one individual dead.
As previously detailed, the Season 19 Bachelor was driving his pickup truck on Sunday night when he rear-ended a tractor on a road near his farm in Iowa.
Soules dialed 911 and reported that a man had been thrown out of the tractor and was now lying in a ditch, bleeding from the mouth…
… but then he drove away and refused to let police officers into his home until they obtained a search warrant.
Several hours after he crashed into 68-year old Kenneth Mosher and killed him, Soules was finally taken into custody and charged with the aforementioned crime.
Authorities say cans of beer were found in Soules’ car, although it’s probable that too many hours elapsed between the time of the accident and the time of his blood test for the latter to turn up positive for alcohol.
Still, pending an investigation, Soules may also be charged with involuntary manslaughter at some point.
For now, he’s free on $ 10,000 bond.
This incident, of course, is as serious as it gets; through his actions, whether by complete accident or whether his judgment was impaired in some way, Chris Soules took a life.
However, if you watch The Bachelor online and/or have followed Soules’ reality TV career ever since his days as a contestant on Andy Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette, you’re likely aware that Soules has frequently run afoul of the law.
There’s nothing in his past this severe.
But there’s enough on record that could impact how this case is handled going forward.
Let’s take a look at all Soules has allegedly done, shall we?
In 2001, he was charged on two separate occasions for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
In January of 2002, he was cited for unlawful use of a license.
Later in 2002, he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after running a stop sign. (NOTE: this incident was eventually amended from leaving the scene due to defective brakes.)
In 2005, he was charged with Operating While Intoxicated (Iowa’s term for DUI), after which he was fined $ 500; given a 60-day jail sentence; a 58-day suspended jail sentence; and a year of probation.
Moreover, between the years of 2000 and 2012, Soules received a total of seven speeding violations.
On their own, of course, none of these arrests or run-ins with the law are all that serious.
But that’s a pretty long list for one individual to have accumulated, let alone one individual whose history of driving, drinking and irresponsibility may have finally caught up with him.
In deadly fashion.
E! News spoke to legal expert Troy Slaten to determine what sort of legal ramifications Soules could face in light of his latest charges and his lengthy criminal record.
“What it looks like right now, he is facing what is called a Class D felony, which is leaving the scene of an accident causing death,” Slaten says.
“Leaving the scene of an accident causing death is, in and of itself, a felony.”
What if tests do come back that show Soules was over the legal drinking limit? What if his blood-alcohol content is above .08?
“When somebody has a prior conviction for DUI, that can mean a couple of things,” Slaten explains, going into detail as follows:
“It can change a case of vehicular homicide or vehicular manslaughter into murder, and here’s why: Normally when we talk about murder, there has to be some sort of malice or evil intent.
“Getting in an accident is usually not evil… but when somebody has been convicted of DUI [in the past], they’re under a greater understanding of the dangers of drinking and driving because [they’ve] been through DUI classes and special alcohol education.”
Makes sense, right?
And it’s hard to argue with the logic behind these guidelines, no?
The Iowa State Patrol is looking into whether alcohol played a role in the fatal crash.
If so, prosecutors may cite “malice” due to Soules’ perceived knowledge of what happens when you drink and drive.
They could say Soules showed an “indifference to human life” by once again getting behind the wheel after imbibing, according to Slaten, would could result in a MURDER charge.
Soules was arraigned (see photo above) on Tuesday, which confirms he’s facing criminal charges.
He also could face civil liability on behalf on the victim’s family.
Mosher was a father of two and is also a grandfather.
Sources say these relatives do not blame Soules for what happened, but that opinion could change if they learn alcohol was in his system.
For now, Soules has simply issued a very straightforward statement through his spokesman. It reads:
Chris Soules was involved in an accident Monday evening (April 24) in a rural part of Iowa near his home. He was devastated to learn that Kenneth Mosher, the other person in the accident, passed away.

Beyonce & Jay Z: Hoping Twins Will Help Save Troubled Marriage?
If you were anywhere near an Internet-capable device last week, then you almost certainly heard the news:
Beyonce is pregnant with twins!
And, of course, she made the announcement in the most Beyonce-esque fashion possible with about a dozen artsy Instagram pics.
Obviously, it’s joyous news for the Carter clan, but in the months leading up to the announcement, things weren’t so sunny for the first couple of hip hop.
Rumors of Jay Z cheating on Beyonce circulated throughout 2016, helped along in part by Bey’s Lemonade album, which seemed to be her way of publicly confronting her husband about his infidelity.
Naturally, news of the couple’s forthcoming bundles of joy has sparked an increase in the public’s interest in the state of their marriage.
Usually when a publicly troubled couple decides to have more kids, there’s talk of “Band-Aid babies” or unexpected “surprises,” but when it comes to Jay and Bey, sources say they’re doing well, and they’ve been planning to expand their family for quite some time.
“[Beyonce and Jay] have been trying for some time,” an insider tells E! News.
“And it has not been very easy conceiving this time around, so when they did it was a miracle. They always wanted more kids, and they are doing really well as a couple so the timing is on point.”
The insider is probably someone in the Carters’ camp, so they probably wouldn’t tell the world if Jay and Bey were just staying together for the kids.
Still, the fact that they’re talking to the press about it at all seems to be a way of acknowledging that they went through a rough patch and sending the message that they’ve put that behind them.
As for how Bey is handling her second pregnancy physically, the source says doing as well as can be expected:
“Beyonce is feeling OK,” the source reveals.
“She had some morning sickness early on and her energy level is slower than usual, [but she] is taking good care of her body and has good doctors that are making sure she is on track.”
No rumors about Beyonce faking her pregnancy yet, but we’re sure they’re coming.
After all, if she and Jay really aren’t breaking up, the peasants will need something else to gossip about.

Tristan Thompson: Troubled Past... Revealed!
Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend, Tristan Thompson was a hot headed teenager.
Well, at least according to the latest reports over at OK! Magazine.
The magazine has some questionable words from people who were apparently associated with the NBA star when he was in high school, but is there any truth to them?
“Back in high school he was known for his fiery temper on the court — once he even walked out on the coach in the middle of a game,” a source revealed.
It is very convenient that these reports are materializing as his relationship with Khloe heats up.
He and Khloe have had their fair share of ups and downs, but it seems like the pair are actually really happy together.
The report even went as far as stating that Khloe’s new man was in so much trouble in school that he was kicked off the team.
Who revealed this?
Tristan’s former coach, Dan Hurley. Maybe there is something iffy about Tristan after all.
He was allegedly kicked off the team for “public insubordination.”
Yeah, we’re taking all of this with a pinch of salt until we hear more from Tristan’s camp on the matter.
One part of the report we can definitely get on board with involves Kris Jenner apparently having Thompson investigated.
We all know that Kris likes to make sure her kids are with people for the right reasons.
“Khloe has no idea Kris is doing this, but her sisters do—and they approve. They think Khloe picks losers and needs all the protection her family can give her!”
It does make sense that the family would want to make sure Khloe has a man on her arm that is not just after the fame and money that comes with being part of the Kardashian family.
Basically, they’re trying to make sure he is not another Tyga.
Yeah, Tyga’s the guy who Kylie Jenner always seems to be bailing out.
The dude seems to buy cars all the time and forgets to pay them.
There was reports recently that Thompson has Jordy Craig pregnant and left her for Khloe Kardashian.
There have also been reports that Khloe has a bun in the oven, too, so he may well have two newborn babies before he knows it.
Considering Thompson allegedly left an Instagram model for Kardashian, could he still be harboring a mean streak?

Ariel Winter Addresses Troubled Family Life With New Tattoo
If you follow her on Instagram, you probably already know that Ariel Winter has many tattoos.
Ariel posts bikini selfies on a regular basis (and for that, we thank her), so her inkwork is frequently on display.
Her latest tatt, however, isn’t someplace where it would normally be hidden by clothes, but it’s drawing a lot of attention nonetheless.
Ariel’s sister, Shanelle Gray, posted the above photo to her Instagram account.
She captioned the image:
“1st tattoo matching sister one of the most important people in my life with a matching tattoo of a very special date. tattoo #2 pics soon.”
While Gray didn’t offer any info on the date or its significance, Ariel has spoken about it in the past.
It seems Ms. Winter has had ink there for quite some time, and her sister just decided to match her over the weekend.
Ariel revealed the meaning of her tatt in an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month:
“This is October 3rd, 2012, which is the day I moved in with my sister, and it kind of started a new chapter in life for me, so it was really important,” the actress said.
She added:
“My sister’s one of the most amazing people in my life. She’s my best friend. She’s really the most important person to me. She has done so much for me, and has taught me so much.”
In 2012, Winter was legally emancipated from her mother after several years of turbulence and abuse allegations.
Gray was granted temporary custody by the court.
So it seems the ink was a way to commemorate a major turning point in both their lives.
It also seems Ariel decided that while she was at the tattoo shop to support her sister, she would also go under the needle herself:
Winter posted several pics on Snapchat that seem to show her getting some kind of tattoo on her wrist.
Unfortunately, she didn’t share the finished results.
Her sister mentioned on social media that she also got two tattoos that day, so did the sisters get two sets of matching ink?
We imagine we’ll find out soon enough.
It’s not like wrist tattoos are very easy to conceal.
And as Ariel so frequently reminds us on the ‘Gram, it’s not like she’s big on concealment, anyway.

Jordan Cashmyer: Troubled 16 and Pregnant Star Checks Into Rehab
While it’s all well and good that 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom have reduced the rate of teen pregnancy, they can also exacerbate pre-existing issues.
One star from the former franchise has been on a downward spiral battling her own demons ever since.
Jordan Cashmyer appeared on season five of the groundbreaking documentary. She and her then-boyfriend, Derek Taylor got pregnant, and Cashmyer gave birth to a daughter, Genevieve.
Now, TMZ reports, Cashmyer has entered a rehab facility in Baltimore after coming home to her mother’s house so drunk, she fell on the floor and gave herself a concussion.
Cashmyer reportedly realized she had to “get her life together.”
The former reality was a stripper for some time in Baltimore. After wanting to improve her life, she was hired to work at a gym.
It’s believed she was fired from the gym for being drunk on the job.
Back in February, Cashmyer updated fans on her struggles.
“I suffered from very bad post-partum depression. While trying to get this issue under control, I started working at a [strip] club, a place that would completely alter my life in ways I never thought,”Cashmyer wrote in a blog post.
“For the past two years I have struggled with addiction…I practically used my body as a trashcan and would put whatever was given to me in my body.”
At the time, Cashmyer insisted she was sober.
“I have been clean for a little over five weeks and see a substance abuse counselor every other week to prevent relapse,” she wrote. “I have also not set foot in a club since two days after my first first full day of being clean.”
Taylor spoke out about Cashmyer, claiming that she never sees their daughter, Genevieve, who lives with him and his family.
“…realistically it makes no difference because Jordan isn’t a mother and she never will be!” Taylor tweeted.
“Not to mention Genevieve doesn’t even know who Jordan is.”

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 8 Photos: Tyrion Looks Troubled
We"re officially in the homestretch for Game of Thrones Season 6, and if even one of the fan theories about the upcoming episodes is accurate, we should be in for quite the finale.
Folks are predicting the deaths of hated villains, and unexpected returns for characters long thought dead. (Why not? We already had one of those on last week"s episode!)
Clearly, anything goes in this post-book world we"re living in, so we"ll limit our speculation to Sunday"s episode, "No One."
Tyrion will return after a two week hiatus, and he"ll look vaguely troubled about something. Call us psychic!

Rob Kardashian: Family Holds Intervention For Troubled Reality Star
It’s been almost a month since Rob Kardashian was diagnosed with diabetes, and by all accounts, the troubled 28-year-old has shown little interest in abandoning the habits that cost him his health.
Rob has refused rehab and is reportedly engaging in the same behavior that landed him in the hospital over the holidays.
Sources say Kris Jenner has bribed Rob in hopes of getting him to seek help, but as he already has everything he wants, the offer held little appeal.
The Kardashians are said to be out of their minds with worry for Rob, and Radar Online is reporting that they recently held an intervention for the reclusive former reality star.
As with everything else they do, the Kards decided to film the encounter – which may be why it failed miserably.
“Kim thought if the intervention was filmed, Rob would be more responsive to it,” says one insider.
“There was a therapist to guide the family. This was coming from a place of love. Initially Kris was hesitant, but was desperate to do anything.”
Not surprisingly, Rob – who has refused to participate in recent seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians – wanted nothing to with the intervention:
“As soon as Rob walked in Kris’ house, he realized what was about to go down and just walked right out the front door,” says the source.
“He just got in his car and drove away. He refused to pick-up his phone for several days, and nobody knew where he was.”
Fortunately, for the sake of Rob’s dignity, the awkward interaction will never be televised:
“Khloe will make sure the footage of the failed intervention won’t air,” says the source.
Sounds like the Kardashians are finally coming around to the idea that not all drama is fit for TV.

Scheana Marie Asks Fans Not to Bash Her Troubled Marriage
If you watched Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 4 last night, you know that there’s some serious trouble in paradise for newlyweds Scheana Marie and Doormat McGee Mike Shay.
Just months after walking down the aisle, Scheana tearfully confessed to her co-workers (and boss, because traditional workplace rules don’t apply at SUR) that Shay moved out of their apartment and hadn’t spoken to her in days.
Sadly, it seems as though Shay is suffering from serious substance abuse issues, as Scheana revealed to Lisa that he drinks heavily and pops up to five Vicodin pills a day.
We imagine it was a difficult episode for Scheana to watch, and before it got underway, she asked that fans refrain from any sort of haterism:
“Tonight is a very emotional #PumpRules episode for me,” Scheana tweeted. “I ask that you kindly keep your negative opinions to yourself.”
A reasonable request, but that didn’t stop folks from accusing Scheana of pretty serious hypocrisy:
As you may recall, Scheana slept with Eddie Cibrian while he was still married to Brandi Glanville.
There have been no rumors of infidelity in Scheana and Shay’s relationship, but it is a bit ironic that Scheana is pleading for sympathy and compassion when it comes to her own marriage, despite having fairly recently played an active part in destroying someone else’s.
Perhaps it would be different if Scheana had apologized to Brandi, or even shown the slightest remorse for sleeping with her husband, but instead she’s gloated about it on several occasions.
None of that means that Scheana deserves her current situation, but hopefully the image of a smugly grinning Brandi briefly flashed through Mrs. Shay’s mind as she composed that tweet.
