Big Brother Season 18: Cast Revealed!

Big Brother Season 18 premieres in just one week and CBS has finally lifted the lid on the latest batch of houseguests.

My first thought is that there"s not enough people to fill the 99 day season.

Considering two of the cast are siblings of former houseguests, might there be some sort of twist involving the previous players coming back into the fold?

We have the cast for you below!

1. Bridgette Dunning

Bridgette dunning from big brother

Bridgette is 24-years-old and lives in Fresno, California. She’s a traveling nurse. Bridgette thinks that people underestimate her, but maintains that they don’t bank on her being extremely smart.

2. Bronte D’Acquisto

Bronte dacquisto

Bronte is 23-years-old and lives in Denver, Colorado. She is currently a student and thinks that Derrick Lavasseur played a great game. She wants people to say that during her time in the house, she was like a female version of Derrick. Okay then.

3. Corey Brooks

Corey brooks

Corey is a 25-year-old baseball coach from Dallas. He thinks his game play will be similar Season 16’s Cody Calafiore. Maybe he’ll like one of the other houseguests a little too much.

4. Glenn Garcia

Glenn garcia

Glenn is a 50-year-old dog groomer from The Bronx, New York. He is a former police detective. Will he conceal his former career, or will he use it to his advantage? He likes to live every like it’s his last.

5. Jozea Flores

Jozea flores

Jozea is a 25-years-old who lives in Los Angeles. He is a makeup artist and loved Frankie Grande from Big Brother 16’s game play.

6. Michelle Meyer

Michelle meyer

Michelle is a 23-year-old nutritionist from Washington Township, Michigan. She currently works as a nutritionist and finds Season 14’s winner, Ian Terry very attractive. She also thinks he played the same type of game she would play.

Sal Valentinetti Earns Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent

Sal Valentinetti has advanced on America"s Got Talent.

And for very good reason, as you"re about to find out.

As viewers of this NBC reality competition know by now, each judge is permitted to use his or her Golden Buzzer just one time. This act directly sends the contestant to the live performance round.

On last month’s premiere, Melanie Brown chose a young opera singer named Laura Bretan.

And, last week, Howie Mandel went with Grace Vanderwaal, who Simon Cowell predicted could be the “next Taylor Swift." High praise and expectations, we know.

On Tuesday evening, meanwhile, it was time for Heidi Klum to step up.

Enter Valentinetti, an American Idol cast-off from Season 14.

“I wanna make something of myself. I want to bring back those Dean Martin-style roasts.” Valentinetti told the panel prior tp performing.

“I’m gonna entertain you like you’ve never been entertained before. As a matter of fact, I didn’t come here to try out. I came here to win."

We love the confidence.

And we also love what Valentinetti did from there.

He received a standing ovation for his version of Frank Sinatra"s "My Way," with Cowell gushing:

“Sal, when you want to sing this kind of music you can’t fake it. It’s either in you or it’s not. You’re an old soul."

Klum proceeded to give him a hug before adding:

"Do you wanna know how I feel about you? I’ll tell you right now!”

BOOM! Golden Buzzer time!

What did Valentinetti do to earn this distinction? Watch and find out below!

Mara Wilson Comes Out as Bisexual, Shows Support for LGBT Community

As previously detailed, there have been a slew of inspiring celebrity reactions in light of this weekend’s horrific shooting in Orlando.

But none along the lines of what Mara Wilson just did.

Following Sunday’s tragic massacre at a gay club in Orlando, the 28-year old actress took to Twitter and confirmed to followers that she is bisexual.

She did so in a series of Tweets that include a photo of her 18-year old self at a gay club (below).

“Me at a gay club when I was eighteen. I feel embarrassed looking at it now…,” Wilson wrote as a caption to the following image, kicking off her announcement.

“Being a ‘straight girl’ where I clearly didn’t belong, but I will say, I felt so welcomed there,” she added.

“I have never had a better experience at a club than I did then. Great music and people. And one of my friends met his partner that night.”

Soon before writing that, yes, she is “bi,” Wilson Tweeted:

“I haven’t been to one since college, except once when a friend brought me along. I didn’t feel like I belonged there.

“But the LGBTQ community has always felt like home, especially a few years later when I, uh, learned something about myself. So thank you.”

Of course, because this is the Internet, critics jumped all over Wilson.

They accused her of exploiting the Orlando shooting for a personal reason, despite her simple desire of wanting to show support to the LGBT community.

“Apparently admitting to something personal in a reply on my own Twitter makes me an “attention whore” “co-opting a tragedy,” she wrote in response to these terrible people.

Wilson, who added links to President Obama’s recent speech on gun control and to a GoFundMe page created in honor of the shooting victims, said she has no plans to give interviews… and isn’t looking for any real attention.

“Can I go back to tweeting about Hamilton and cats now? Please,” she wrote, prior to concluding:

“I think I’m going to stay off Twitter for a few days. I had no idea this would be such a thing, but I guess it’s flattering.”

We salute Wilson for her courage.

Omar Mateen Sent Pictures of His Penis to Men Online

New information has surfaced about Omar Mateen that paints the mass murderer as a sexually confused individual.

Mateen, of course, is the 29-year old mad man who entered a gay nightclub in Orlando on Saturday night with an assault rifle and killed 49 innocent patrons.

He even took several individuals hostage before police entered the establishment and killed Mateen in a shootout.

In the days that have followed this horrific event, we’ve learned that Mateen was born in New York to Afghan parents.

He called 911 during his attack and bragged about what he was doing, aligning himself with ISIS in the process.

He had also been investigated by the FBI in 2013 and in 2014 for possible terrorist ties, based on conversations he had with co-workers and other suspicious activity.

Mateen’s father, meanwhile, has speculated that his son’s fatal actions were based on Mateen being grossed out a few months ago upon seeing two gay men kiss.

But a former classmate of the murderer’s says Mateen himself used to frequent gay clubs in Florida.

He even says Mateen was a semi-regular at Pulse, the gay club at the center of his heinous actions over the weekend.

This classmate says Mateen was, indeed, gay and that “he just wanted to fit in and no one liked him. He was always socially awkward.”

TMZ, meanwhile, has spoken to a man named Cord Cedeno.

He claims he connected with the killer on Grindr a few years ago, although the two only exchanged brief pleasantries.

Cedeno explains that he eventually blocked Mateen, but four of his friends have confirmed that Mateen remained active on other dating apps.

He goes on to say that Mateen used Adam4Adam to send photos of his penis to men, never showed his face while doing so.

Mateen’s ex-wife is also on record as saying he showed “homosexual tendencies” during their marriage.

Elsewhere, TMZ also spoke to a female Plenty of Fish user, who says she met Mateen about 18 months ago on the Internet.

He seemed “nice and normal,” she says, telling her that he was “looking for a good woman to marry.”

She adds that he would rant about critics misunderstanding Islam and that she blocked him after awhile because he came across as “emotionally unstable.”

All that really matters in the end is that Omar Mateen killed 49 people and wounded many others in a nightclub over the weekend.

His apparent sexual confusion is obviously no excuse for what he did.

But perhaps getting inside the head of someone who would do this can help us stop someone in the future from taking a similar action.

May the victims rest in peace and may their families someday find peace.
