18 Celebrities Who Think #BlackLivesMatter

The recent killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile by police has re-ignited outrage, sorrow and frustration among many Americans.

The untimely, unnecessary deaths of these men are sadly just new additions to the ever-growing list of black individuals whose lives were ended too soon by people in authority because of racism.

Despite potential controversy, celebrities are using their voices to try and make a difference and insist that #BlackLivesMatter.

1. Beyonce

Beyonce is on fire

“We are sick and tired of the killings of young men and women in our communities,” she began a post on her website, entitled simply “Freedom.” She went on to say, “It is up to us to take a stand and demand that they ‘stop killing us.’ We don’t need sympathy. We need everyone to respect our lives.” The singer urged fans to use their voices and take action by contacting their legislators and provided links to their websites.

2. Justin Timberlake

“Couldn’t even sleep last night… First #AltonSterling and then this video of #PhilandoCastile being brutally killed. This. Must. Stop,” Timberlake tweeted, adding, “This IS systemic. We MUST DO BETTER. My heart goes out to the families of #AltonSterling and #PhilandoCastile. May they both Rest In Peace.”

3. Kim Kardashian

“I want my children to grow up knowing that their lives matter. I do not ever want to have to teach my son to be scared of the police, or tell him that he has to watch his back because the people we are told to trust — the people who ‘protect and serve’ — may not be protecting and serving him because of the color of his skin,” Kim wrote on her website, concluding with, “Hashtags are not enough. This must end now.”

4. Pink

“To anyone that has an issue with me saying BLACK LIVES MATTER…. Please unfollow AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Also, BLACK LIVES MATTER,” Pink shared on Instagram, along with a number of other posts about the victims and the movement.

Tyga shared the photo above to Instagram and wrote a lengthy invective that started, “Im no politician but I know right from wrong. What is it going take for innocent black people to stop being murdered by the police, we think this is bad if we don’t get out and vote and Donald Trump gets in office were really f**ked!! black lives matter!! all lives matter!! They don’t give a f**k if you innocent innocent innocent they’ll kill you and say you was guilty . there’s no justice being served.”

6. Drake

“It’s impossible to ignore that the relationship between black and brown communities and law enforcement remains as strained as it was decades ago. No one begins their life as a hashtag. Yet the trend of being reduced to one continues. This is real and I’m concerned. Concerned for the safety of my family, my friends and any human being that could fall victim to this pattern,” Drake wrote in an open letter on Instagram.

Ciara and Russell Wilson Wedding Photo: See It Here!

Ciara and Russell Wilson are officially Husband and Wife.

We know this because the famous couple has not been shy about sharing various developments related to the big news.

For example: we know Ciara and Russell Wilson had sex the night of their wedding.

This isn’t exactly news, of course, except it’s the first time the stars have ever had sex. Because they previous claimed God told them to remain celibate.

Moreover, the singer and the quarterback both shared the same photo from their nuptials on Instagram soon after they exchanged vows, writing as a caption to the following image:

“We are the Wilsons.”

Pretty sweet, no?

Now, courtesy of west2east Photos, we have a look (above) at an official photo from the duo’s big day.

It took place in front of over 100 family and friends on July 6 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England.

As you can see in both of the above pictures, Ciara donned a custom-made gown with a cathedral-length train; it was hand-crafted in Milan by creative director of Roberto Cavalli, Peter Dundas.

Not bad, huh?

Sources tell Us Weekly that the dress required a number of fittings to make sure every detail was ideally placed.

Ciara also finished off her wedding ensemble with an equally long, diaphanous veil and matching heels designed… personally by Giuseppe Zanotti.

There were eight bridesmaids overall, including La La Anthony and Kelly Rowland, each of whom wore their own custom-made gowns by designer Michael Costello.

“Every girl’s individual style is implemented in the design of their dress, as well as their personality,” Costello told Us Weekly in a statement, adding:

“Ciara made sure of that.”

Hey, it was her show!

It’s also worth noting that Earth, Wind & Fire played at the reception.

We’re very happy for Wilson and Ciara and we send them our best wishes.

Sadly, however, we can think of a certain little girl who does not share that same sentiment. Meet her below:

Ariel Winter Changes Hair Color, Remains Curvy

There are two big reasons why Ariel Winter has 2 million Instagram followers.

Obviously, we’re talking about her hair and her photographic talents.

So the Modern Family actress took a big risk when she decided to ditch the vibrant red locks she’s been sporting in recent weeks in favor of her natural hair color.

Ariel posted the photo above last night, along with a caption reading, “Back to black.”

Winter recently wrapped filming on Dog Years, in which she co-stars with Burt Reynolds, and the ginger locks may have been for her role.

The pic has led many to the conclusion that Ariel is preparing to get back to work on the sitcom that made her famous.

She’ll be attending UCLA in the fall, but plans to reprise her role as Alex Dunphy for an eighth season of MF.

The show is officially turning into one of those insanely long-running network behemoths that will litter the desolate wasteland of late night basic cable in syndication for centuries to come.

Archeologists of future millennia will study shards of clay pottery and reruns of Modern Family to piece together what life was like before the great ape uprising.

Anyway, back to Ariel’s hair.

Her selfie has only been up for 18 hours and it’s already racked up 133,000 likes.

Many are from Family fans who are excited the show is filming again.

And some of them are just enthusiastic about Ariel’s giant boobs.

Never change, Internet pervs. Never change.

Micah Johnson Identified as Dallas Sniper, Says He Wanted to "Kill White People"

Micah X. Johnson has been identified as sniper responsible for last night’s heinous incident in Dallas.

Police Chief David Brown confirmed this news at a press conference today, saying Johnson was the man who killed five police officers and wounded seven others in the deadliest attack on a police force since 9/11.

Johnson was a a 25-year-old who served six years in the Army Reserve.

He was killed early Friday when authorities deployed a robot to blow up an explosive device in the parking garage where the Johnson was taking cover.

This put an end to a horrific incident.

Just a few hours earlier, thousands of people had gathered at a protest in connection to a pair of recent deaths; those of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

Sterling was killed by police in Louisiana on Tuesday, while Castile was killed by police a day later in Minnesota.

Both men were African-American and both lost their lives to white officers, sparking a new round of outrage over across the country over the way black citizens are treated white members of the police force.

Learn more about the shooting in Dallas via this news report:

Said Brown at his press conference, discussing Johnson in more disturbing detail:

“The suspect said he was upset at white people. The suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.

“The suspect said he was upset about Black Lives Matter. He said he was upset about the recent police shootings.”

Johnson allegedly opened fire Thursday evening on what had been a peaceful demonstration; demonstrators were sent running for their lives as a result.

Police eventually cornered Johnson in a parking garage and attempted to negotiate with him before sending in the robot bomb to protect more officers from harm.

According to Brown, Johnson told officers at the scene that he had acted alone.

Still, Brown says there may have been other assailants.

He has not divulged any further details about them or about why he believes they exist.

The following collage, meanwhile, appeared on the Facebook page of Johnson’s sister, Nicole Johnson, today.

She shared numerous times on her account to express disbelief over her brother’s reported role in the tragedy.

“I keep saying its not true…my eyes hurt from crying. Y him???” Nicole wrote in a post. “And why was he downtown smh”

Johnson’s own social media accounts, meanwhile,  reveal he was a member of several Black Panther organizations, including The New Black Panther Party Houston Chapter.
