Dwayne Johnson Pays Tribute to Fan Who Died of Cancer

Dwayne Johnson has given us yet another reason to fall totally and completely in love with him.

Although we wish this reason never had to be.

The action star took to Instagram on Tuesday in order to pay tribute to Gabriel “Tater” Singleton, a seven-year old fan of Johnson’s who had bravely been battling cancer.

Sadly, Singleton recently lost this battle.

“Many of you know the story of strong lil’ Tater who’s wish it was to meet me,” the actor began his message.

Because Johnson had invited Singleton to the set of Johnson’s latest movie, a big screen version of the TV show Baywatch, many followers out there were familiar with his story.

Johnson continued:

“We go thru life and work hard, enjoy some successes, learn from our mistakes, provide for and protect our families – as a man there’s some things I’m 100% certain of. Those are things I/we can control.

“Then there’s some things, as much as it pains me, we just can’t.”

Johnson went on to question why such terrible things sometimes happen to such great people.

“I don’t know why this lil’ 7yr old boy was chosen to battle cancer. Fighting it hard core daily. Was it so his fight could inspire everyone around him?

“Was it ensure we would wake up everyday with a greater gratitude for life and hug our loved ones that much stronger?

“I believe everything happens for a reason – but sometimes it requires us to have faith to look deeper to know what they are.”

How very true.

After informing fans that “a few days ago, Lil’ Tater passed on, earned his angel wings and is no longer in pain,” Johnson concluded as follows:

Our strength and love go out to Tater’s mom, dad and sisters whom I had the privilege of spending time with on our set of Baywatch…

We can’t control what’s around the corner, but we can ALWAYS control our effort and how we choose to LIVE and LOVE in this unpredictable, crazy and amazing thing we call life.

After writing this post I’m counting my blessings and motivated to be productive today and run thru a wall like a maniac.

Which would DEFINITELY make Tater laugh.

Well, you just made us cry, Dwayne. But for all the right reasons.

Earlier this year, Johnson stopped production on Baywatch to meet with another special young fan.

The stories of these children are heartbreaking.

But it helps to know there’s someone like Dwayne Johnson out there to make them feel better.

Jordan Rodgers Finally Breaks Silence on Aaron Rodgers Feud: It"s Not My Focus!

Watching JoJo Fletcher get engaged to Jordan Rodgers last night on the season finale of The Bachelorette, all we could think of was:

What does Aaron Rodgers think about all this?!

While we’ve heard Aaron Rodgers comment, basically via “no comment,” last night was Jordan’s first night in public with his new fiancee.

In other words, the first time someone could hit Aaron’s little brother with the million-dollar question of what the hell is up between them.

It’s been a weird confluence of factors for weeks: Jordan’s lack of relationship with Aaron has become a major focal point of his story.

This has been the case on and off the reality show on which he’s starring … and he seems incredibly uncomfortable talking about it.

They don’t speak (the last known photo of them together, below, is 4-5 years old and also features Kevin from The Office for some reason).

Jordan simultaneously loves the position he’s in, and attention he gets, from being Aaron’s brother, yet wishes he weren’t at the same time.

In a way, it’s the perfect contradiction, and summation of the season:

From the onset, JoJo seemed both intensely drawn to and turned off by Jordan, fittingly the subject of major tabloid speculation throughout.

The handsome, smooth-talking jock, Jordan was an early favorite.

But … he was also the bad boy that the other guys loved to hate, whose ex put him on blast, and whose famous brother won’t talk to him.

Despite a late charge by Robby Hayes – whose downfall may be that he shares many of Jordan’s bad boy qualifies – JoJo picked Rodgers.

Is she now regretting it? She’s putting on a good front, but …

On the After the Final Rose special airing immediately after the finale, Fletcher spoke about the hard times she and Jordan have endured.

Facing claims from tabloids that couldn’t be refuted without giving away The Bachelorette spoilers, JoJo and JoRo were in a tough spot.

They were not, however, in a new one whatsoever.

This happens every season, it’s just that Jordan Rodgers’ personal drama is SO BAD that it became a national story in and of itself.

If anything, the fact that they’re struggling with it is either an indication of that, or the relative strength of their relationship (or lack thereof).

But we digress. Back to the subject at hand here:

Regardless of how long for this world these two hotties may be as the franchise’s new Golden Couple, host Chris Harrison finally went there.

“About the rift with your brother Aaron, has anything come of that?” Harrison said, putting it all out there point blank as Jordan squirmed.

As you can see above, their faces said it all.

Jordan tried to dodge the subject, which he clearly doesn’t want to touch with a ten-foot pole, talking about how he’s moving to Dallas for JoJo!

Pressed a second time, a visibly awkward JoJo shot daggers at Harrison with her eyes and said simply, “It’s not the focus for us right now.”

And there you have it. It being jack s–t.

Why did JoJo pick Jordan Rodgers (hopefully not for the Packers tickets)? Will the love these two share last a lifetime, or fizzle fast?

And … again, what in the heck played out between Jordan and Aaron Rodgers, and what does the Super Bowl MVP think of all this?

The Bachelorette: All 12 Stars Ranked By Relationship Length!

If The Bachelorette spoilers are any indication, JoJo Fletcher and her final rose winner on Season 12 of The Bachelorette are in trouble.

We"re not saying we wish anything negative, or that we have inside knowledge of their personal lives … but the rumors aren"t great.

Specific issues regarding Jordan Rodgers aside, even if you just look at overall odds, her prospects for long-term success are mixed.

At best.

Why do we say that? Isn"t it obvious? This is a dating competition throwing two people together under a pretense that is hard to sustain.

We have ranked the 12 stars of The Bachelorette based on who was most successful at finding love during her stint as ABC"s queen.

See how they stack up from worst to first, and tell us whether you think JoJo and JoRo will end up a success story or cautionary tale …

1. Jen Schefft

Emily Maynard and Jef Holm broke up just a few months after his proposal in 2012. He was never the right guy anyway. Should’ve picked Sean.

3. JoJo Fletcher

Jo squared

She’s engaged to Jordan Rodgers and sure seems happy about that for now. But will the Season 12 star of The Bachelorette continue her rise to the top of this list … or quickly tank to the bottom? Or somewhere in between? TBA, Bachelor Nation. T.B.A.

4. Andi Dorfman

8-Year-Old Pens Letter To Beyonce, Declares Singer "Shoots Out Sparkle"

The future of America has the spirit of a unicorn.

An 8-year-old student in summer school was asked to write a letter to the person she admires most, and that person just so happened to be Beyonce.

“One of my girlfriend’s 8-year-old summer students wrote a letter to ‘a person you admire,"” a Reddit user shared.

“You are the best you are a rare rose in a garden of blooming flowers but your the only one who shoots out sparkle and lite up the sky,” the student wrote.

“My favorite song is Sorry that song be poppin I be turnt up.”

In other cute news, Beyonce’s four-year-old daughter, Blu expressed her concern for grandma, Tina Knowles yesterday when Knowles decided to jump into the ocean from the second floor of a yacht.

“Do you really know how to swim?” Blu was heard (off-camera) asking her grandmother, who was getting ready to make the big jump.

“She does,” a man reassured the little girl.

Knowles told Instagram followers her jumps into the ocean represented a “leap of faith” that she hoped would inspire others.

“This is my first jump from the second story . Which gave me the courage to go up higher,” Beyonce’s mom wrote.

“I took a leap of faith , by jumping off the highest third story , on a boat into the ocean.”

Beyonce and Co. are in the South of France, where they are taking a break in between shows on the singer’s “Formation” tour.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been fighting off divorce rumors for months, and a source recently told Radar Online that this particular trip has made them stronger.

“They know that everyone wants them to break up, but this has only made them stronger because Beyonce refuses to fail as a wife, or mother,” the source said.

The woman shoots out sparkle.  She’ll be fine.
