Sara Haines Signs on for The View

The reporter – who had been serving as lifestyle anchor for Good Morning America Weekend and also as a correspondent for ABC News – has officially signed on as the latest panelist on The View.

She will make her debut this September as the newest member of an ever-rotating cast of occasionally funny characters.

Earlier this month, Whoopi Goldberg signed a new deal to remain lead emcee of the program, which will also bring back Joy Behar and Paula Faris.

Michelle Collins only lasted one year on the series, while it’s unclear at the moment whether Raven-Symoné or Candace Cameron-Bure will be retained.

So, what do we know about Sara Haines?

She was born and raised in Newton, Iowa and she’s the second of four kids.

A 2000 graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, Haines has a degree in Government and actually played both basketball and volleyball for the school.

Haines kicked off her reporting career as part of NBC’s Page Program, eventually becoming Today’s fourth hour contributing correspondent, a role she departed in 2013.

This is when she joined ABC.

On a personal level, Haines lives in Brooklyn… has two chihuahuas … is married to Max Shifrin … and welcomed a son into the world this March.

Lamar Odom to Die Within Three Months, Friends & Family Reportedly Fear

According to a shocking new tabloid report, things aren’t looking good for reality star and beleaguered former NBA star Lamar Odom.

At. All.

The 37-year-old athlete is out of control again, showing zero signs of turning his life around since he nearly died in a brothel last fall.

In fact, things have gotten consistently worse since his initial rescue and recovery from the overdose that nearly took his life in Nevada.

No matter what Khloe Kardashian does, or how well intentioned Lamar’s family intervention is, nothing can save him from himself it seems.

And for those in Lamar’s camp, time may be running out.

Friends fear that Odom is back on crack again, and they have good reason to worry, given his track record – near-term and long-term.

He was reportedly kicked out by Khloe after a relapse, and when she found a crack pipe inside the house that she was renting for him.

No one has seen him smoke crack, but he was recently kicked off a Delta flight for drunkenly vomiting in the cabin. He’s clearly well.

How will this saga end? Badly, and soon, friends fear.

Sources close to Odom say he has merely three months to live, though it’s entirely unclear what they’re basing that tragic estimate on.

“He’s gone back to partying, drinking and doing drugs,” a source tells In Touch, always the beacon of trusted journalism in the mid-2010s.

“His kidneys never fully recovered from the overdose, and doctors have told him that going back to his old lifestyle will guarantee his death.”

Basically. But will he get the message?

Estranged wife Khloe has reportedly begged the star to go to rehab several times, as has Liza Morales, the mother of his two children.

No dice. On the contrary, in fact.

A source adds that Lamar “stormed out” of an intervention held by Liza, whose ongoing beef with Khloe has also escalated in recent weeks.

When Liza learned that Kardashian took Lamar off her health insurance, she reportedly blew up her phone with angry calls and texts.

In Khloe’s mind, she’s done all she can, and unless he agrees to face his demons an overcome his problem, no one can help Odom.

“His body just can’t take much more of the abuse he’s putting it through,” the source lamented, hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

“It’s like Lamar has a death wish.”

Around this time, Buckingham Palace gave a refresher course on protocol and rank within the royal family. Tabloids took this to mean that the Queen was getting revenge on Catherine for being popular. Her punishment required her to curtsy to Prince William’s cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie of York. HOWEVER, she only has to curtsy to the York girls if Prince William is not with her, because William outranks his cousins.

3. Star – September 2012

Oooh, Star was so close to finally hitting its target. Prince George was presumably conceived in November of 2012, just two months after Star’s claims.

Yes, William and Catherine announced that she was pregnant around this time, but Catherine was only carrying Prince George. Just one prince. Single rider.

News is slow, everyone loves a holiday pregnancy announcement. And yet…no baby.

Her Majesty was not “dying” at the time. In fact, she went on to break Queen Victoria’s record for longest reigning British monarch in history in September 2015.

Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood Season 3: First Look!

Will they or won"t they?!?

That"s one of the main questions on fans" minds heading into Season 3 of VH1"s non-critically-acclaimed reality series, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

We"re referring, of course, to Ray J (best known as the partner in the Kim Kardashian Sex Tape) and Princess Love, who got engaged on Season 2.

Will they walk down the aisle this summer?

The official VH1 press release says "a few dissenting figures will stop at nothing to prevent their trip to the altar."

Elsewhere, Safaree Samuels will join the cast, looking to move on from his past romance with Nicki Minaj.

A1 and his fiancé, singer/songwriter, Lyrica will be new to the cast. The long-time collaborators will see their own upcoming nuptials possibly derailed by their high-maintenance mothers, Lyrica G and Pam, as these two vie for control over the young couple’s life.
