Prince Harry and Prince William: Our Wives Are Tearing Us Apart!
Even though even Prince Charles knows Meghan Markle is cooler than Kate Middleton, both Duchesses and their Princely husbands are as thick as thieves.
But that may be about to change after Meghan gives birth.
Apparently, Prince Harry and Prince William are drawing up plans to divide their joint “court” and have separate offices.
Prince William and Prince Harry are very close, even for siblings, but they’re looking to create some distance.
According to The Sunday Times, William and Harry are considering separating their joint “court” at Kensington Palace.
They would instead go on and create two separate offices.
These alleged plans would only be implemented this spring or later, after Meghan Markle’s due date.
That is, of course, if they follow through with it at all.
We know that it’s always tempting for people to suspect some sort of secret family rift as the culprit.
That’s always interesting a juicy, but only rarely true.
The Princes have an actual purpose for dividing into separate offices, and it’s because they have different royal destinies.
William will one day be Prince of Wales. He is his father’s heir.
And it seems likely that William will one day be king, barring a bizarre set of circumstances.
Harry and Meghan will very naturally want to forge their own path, according ot insiders.
Sally Bedell Smith, author of Royals, spoke to People on the subject of this potential separation.
“The arrival of Meghan has changed the dynamic of the relationship in a fairly significant way,” Smith reports.
That makes a lot of sense. Harry was the center of attention for something other than international thirst.
“It is inevitable and practical,” Smith says of the move for separate offices.
Smith says it will happen “because it gives Harry and Meghan some freedom to build up their own collection of interests and charities.”
Meghan is a passionate, caring person.
“Meghan has very strong views on what she is interested in,” Smith affirms.
“And,” Smith notes. “That may be what Harry shares.”
That wouldn’t be a surprise. They dated for a long time before they married.
It would only make sense for them to have a lot of shared passions.
“But,” Smith admits, Meghan and Harry’s charitable interests may be “not what William and Kate share.”
“They have brought many charities working in the same sector together to empower them and lend their positions,” Smith says of the Princes.
“But,” Smith continues. “They will increasingly follow their own respective interests.”
A report has claimed that Prince Harry’s friends don’t like Meghan’s Left-leaning views on topics such as animal welfare.
They allegedly consider such views “trendy,” which is exactly what you’d expect from terminally British aristocrats.
“I think it really is just a shift in priorities and interests,” Smith suggests.
“William is a husband and father of three and his focus is primarily on them,” Smith notes. “And Harry will soon be a father.”
In Sally Bedell Smith’s estimation, both Princes will more or less go on as they have.
“Each of them will continue [to be] the very strong representative of the Queen,” Smith says.
Smith says that they will do so “in carrying out tasks and assignments that she, and probably their father, wants them to do.”
Royal duties don’t go away, even when you’re a parent.
And separate offices won’t change that.
“They are going to be sharing in this diffusion of activities on behalf of the Queen,” Smith affirms.
That said, the palace had no official comment on this story. The princes may go in another direction.

Kate Middleton and Prince William Christen Louis, Light Up London
Kate Middleton has taken a break from trash-talking Meghan Markle to focus on what’s really important:
Family.
The Duchess of Cambridge arrived on Monday at the Chapel Royal in St. James’s Palace in London alongside Prince William and her three precious children in order to Christen the youngest of these children.
Indeed, it was quite a big day for 11-week old Louis, who was accompanied for this major occasion by his four-year old brother, George, and three-year old sister, Charlotte.
This was actually the first time all five members of this beloved immediate family were photographed in the same place.
Middleton, as we’ve come to expect at all times, looked elegant and gorgeous in a cream suit dress from Alexander McQueen (her wedding dress designer) and a matching headpiece from Jane Taylor.
Take a look at the ensemble here:
Louis was born on April 19 and, within hours, Middleton was all dressed and made up and debuting her child for the public.
Since then, the global icon was spotted at the annual Trooping the Colour even on June 9; and a day later, she and her two older kids were on the sidelines of Prince William’s polo match.
That’s been about it for Kate Middleton appearances since she became a mother for the third time.
We’re obviously not blaming her or judging her here. She has a newborn at home!
Following in the adorable footsteps of his siblings, Louis’ service was conducted this morning by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, who christened George in October 2013 and Charlotte in July 2015…
… and most recently officiated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding.
(That Royal World really is a small one, isn’t it?)
Charlotte, meanwhile, was Christened at Sandringham’s St. Mary Magdalene church in Norfolk, which is also where her late grandmother Princess Diana was Christened.
As for George?
His ceremony was held at St. James’s Palace‘s Chapel Royal.
For those wondering, Kate and William selected two hymns for this big event:
O Jesus, I Have Promised and Lord of All Hopefulness.
Moreover, Godparents Lucy Middleton and Guy Pelly each did a reading.
And, as if all this wasn’t exciting enough, Pippa Middleton was on hand for her nephew’s special day.
She attended alongside husband James Matthews, and with a baby in her womb.
How exciting, right?!?
We can’t make out a bump just yet, but Pipppa can be assured that the paparazzi will be looking closely for many weeks to come.
She can also turn to her sister any time she needs advice, especially considering what Kate recently said about parenting.
“Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life,” Middleton wrote in a letter for Children’s Hospice Week, adding:
“It is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish.”
Amen. We totally agree!

Kate Middleton and Prince William Announce Son"s Christening Date!
For the record:
Meghan Markle is not pregnant. Do not believe everything that you read.
But this doesn’t mean there isn’t some major Royal Baby news to announce.
Prince William and Kate Middleton confirmed on Wednesday that their eight-week-old son will be christened on Monday, July 9.
Remember Prince Louis?!?
His exciting birth has almost been forgotten about amidst the excitement of Prince Harry getting married and Pippa Middleton telling the world that she is pregnant with her first child.
But he’s still here, still adorable and about to take a significant step in his life.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce that the christening of Prince Louis will take place on Monday 9th July at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, London,” Kensington Palace said in a statement this morning.
Following in the very cute footsteps of his brother and sister, Louis’ service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, who christened Prince George in October 2013 and Princess Charlotte in July 2015.
This same man most recently officiated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding on May 19.
Three-year old Charlotte was christened at Sandringham’s St. Mary Magdalene church in Norfolk.
This is the the same church where her late grandmother, the beloved Princess Diana, was also christened.
The ceremony for four-year old George, meanwhile, was held at St. James’s Palace‘s Chapel Royal.
The Chapel Royal, where Louis’ service will also be, also happens to be where the Duchess of Sussex had her own baptism earlier this year.
Don’t worry. There won’t be a quiz on this later.
At the moment, no further details are known about the christening, but you can expect the Royal Family to release some lovely portraits from the happy day.
Kate and William presented their third child’s name to the world in late April.
He is officially His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge, with Louis having been the middle name of Queen Elizabeth II’s youngest child, Prince Edward (otherwise known as Edward Antony Richard Louis).
We haven’t heard a whole lot from William and Kate about their son since they welcomed him into the world, not since William said that the newborn was sleeping relatively well.
That must be quite the relief.
This may be the last update we receive for awhile, though, as William and Middleton have done an outstanding job of shielding their kids from the public.
It’s always a huge deal when one is born and we get to enjoy a number of photos such as the ones above and below.
But then Kensington Palace works with the couple to make sure no paparazzi have access to various private family areas and the proud parents themselves do everything possible to ensure this same sort of privacy.
They only choose occasions such as this christening to share news with their millions of fans around the world.
Which is how it should be, right?
We’d love to have new Louis photos everyday, but the kid should absolutely grow up in as much peace as possible, given his circumstances in life.

Prince Louis: What"s Behind William and Kate Middleton"s Baby Name?
Earlier this week, Prince William and Kate Middleton introduced their third child to the world.
But early on Friday, Prince William and Kate Middleton truly introduced their child to the world.
Because now that child has a name!
Indeed, the newborn pictured above is SO gosh darn cute!
But he’s also named Louis Arthur Charles, we can now confirm, courtesy of a Tweet today from Kensington Palace.
To be exact (and formal), he’ll be called “His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.”
It’s better than True, Stormi or Chicago, right?
But from where did this name come? Why did William and Kate go with Louis as their son’s first name?
For starters, a multitude of British royal family members have used the moniker as a middle name, including William himself (whose full name is William Arthur Philip Louis), and also big brother Prince George (whose full name is George Alexander Louis).
Louis also happens to be the middle name of Queen Elizabeth II’s youngest child, Prince Edward (otherwise known as Edward Antony Richard Louis).
In all likelihood, this is who the name is meant to honor.
Philip’s grandfather was Prince Louis Alexander of Battenberg.
The name holds significant meaning to William’s own father, too, Prince Charles, whose great-uncle and mentor, Earl Louis Mountbatten, was actually killed by the IRA in 1979.
For what it’s also worth, notes CNN, Louis stems from the name Ludwig, which can be interpreted as “renowned warrior.”
That’s a pretty nice term/noun to be affiliated with, no?
“Louis is obviously a favorite name and an indirect nod to the Duke of Edinburgh and his side of the family,” Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine, tells People, adding:
“I did think that Philip might have appeared in there somewhere.”
So did we. Alas.
As for Arthur and Charles?
Both names are shared by the baby’s grandfather, whose full name is Charles Philip Arthur George.
Here, once again, William shares Arthur as a middle name.
Moreover, Charles is a middle name of the child’s uncle Prince Harry, whose full name is Henry Charles Albert David.
There’s a lot to consider here, people. Many Royals across many generations come into play.
The important thing overall right now, of course, is that the baby is doing well.
Now that they are back home in Kensington Palace with their new baby boy, Prince William and Kate Middleton have started life as a family of five.
It’s all worked out so well for them.
“It completes them,” royal biographer Ingrid Seward tells People in this week’s cover story.
Elsewhere, a friend of the couple notes that Middleton “is one of three siblings, and it’s a good family size. Boy-girl-boy is pretty cool as well.”
We agree!
Congrats to everyone involved!

Kate Middleton and Prince William Reveal Royal Name... Finally!
The wait is over.
The anticipation can end.
The rumors can be put to rest.
The Royal Baby? He finally has a name!
Five days after Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their third bundle of precious joy into the world, the world’s favorite couple has at last come out and made it possible for us to refer to their baby as something other than “that kid.”
Instead, we can now call him…
… LOUIS ARTHUR!!!!!
It’s not True Thompson and it’s not Stormi Webster, but it’s the name of the fifth heir to the British throne.
Isn’t that right, Kensington Palace?
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles,” reads the official Tweet making this announcement.
Along with an adorable picture of Mommy, Daddy and Louis, the social media confirmation added:
“The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.”
Well, sure. But only when his parents are really angry with him and want to use his full name.
Louis was among the leading contenders for the Royal Baby name, as various casinos and online gambling destinations actually accepted wagers on what the moniker would be.
Prince William had tried to throw fans off the scent in a brief chat with the media on Wednesday, joking at one point that he liked the name Jerry.
He also said at the time that his son is sleeping “reasonably well” and behaving himself, while adding that his wife is “doing very well.”
The beloved couple’s latest addition was born at 11:01 a.m. local time on Monday.
Just a few hours later, the traditional ceremonial easel was placed in front of Buckingham Palace, while Kate and William debuted the boy a short time after that.
He’s pretty darn adorable, isn’t he?
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.,” the palace tweeted for this major announcement.
It added on Monday:
“The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
William and Kate, meanwhile, chose traditional names that honored their family members for their first two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The former shares a name with six former kings of England, including Queen Elizabeth II’s late father, King George VI.
As for Charlotte? Her middle name is Diana, which is self-explanatory, right?
Middleton actually paid tribute in moving fashion to Princess Diana with the dress you see her wearing above.
In related news:
Prior to the baby’s arrival, various reports have come out that Kate’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, is pregnant with her first child.
And then, on May 19, Prince Harry is set to marry Meghan Markle.
It’s quite a time to be a fan of the Royal Family… or a member of the Royal Family.
Welcome to the world, Louis Arthur!
You’re a cutie patootie!

Prince Harry to Prince William: Will You Be My Best Man?
Is it getting a little dusty in here, or is it just us?
As you’re no doubt aware, Prince Harry is set to marry Meghan Markle next month, and the final preparations are taking place at a frantic rate.
Harry and Meghan’s invitations have been sent out, and the gown has been designed by some fashion world luminary and hand-stitched by a dozen peasants working in shifts (we assume).
Even Meghan’s bachelorette party has been arranged for by none other than Kate Middleton.
But what about Harry?
Who will order the most talented exotic dancers from each corner of the British Empire so that they might have the honor of twerking for the Ginger Prince?
Well, we know how the answer to that question thanks to this totes adorbz announcement from Kensington Palace.
The palace’s official Twitter account tweeted that photo along with this not-so-surprising announcement:
“The Duke of Cambridge is honored to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St. George’s Chapel,” palace officials tweeted.
So Kate is Meghan’s matron of honor and Will is Harry’s best man?
We guess this is further evidence that the Markle family isn’t terribly close-knit.
Obviously, Will has a good deal on his plate these days, what with Kate Middleton having welcomed her third child earlier this week.
But the royal hustle never stops, and so, Will was spotted alongside Harry and Meghan at the Anzac Day Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving on Wednesday
William was overheard talking about the new #royalbaby and assuring a loyal subject that his three-day-old child is already comporting himself in a princely fashion.
“Sleeping’s going reasonably well so far, so he’s behaving himself, which is good,” Will was overheard saying.
We assume he then looked around and asked, “Hey anyone else got any more royal stuff for me to do? I can’t go home yet. You can’t make me!”
Royals – they’re just like us!

Prince William Confirms Royal Baby is Sort of Sleeping, May Be Named Jerry
ROYAL BABY UPDATE ALERT! ROYAL BABY UPDATE ALERT!
Mere days after Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their third child into the world, the Duke of Cambridge attended an Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey in London.
This was an event meant to honor the military.
After paying his respects (along with future sister-in-law Meghan Markle), however, William spoke to reporters briefly and answered a few questions about his son’s first few days.
“Sleeping’s going reasonably well so far,” the Royal Hunk told The Daily Mirror’s Victoria Murphy, quipping as a follow-up:
“So, he’s behaving himself, which is good.”
LOL. We’re glad to hear that a three-day old is on his best behavior.
William also said that his son and his wife are “doing very well,” prior to touching on the only subject matter anyone cares about right now.
What will he and Middleton name their kid?!?
When Australian High Commissioner Alexander Downer asked William if he’s considered the name Alexander for the little one, William responded:
“Well, it’s funny you should say that. It’s a good name.”
Alexander actually is a leading contender for the baby’s name.
From there, The Dean of Westminster joked that Sir Jerry Mateparae, New Zealand’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, would like the baby’s name to be Jerry.
How did William reply to this suggestion?
“Jerry is a strong name, absolutely.”
(Yes, this was a joke. Ain’t no way we’ll soon be greeting Prince Jerry.)
Based on William and Kate’s first two kids, we can expect to learn the child’s moniker by the end of this week. Maybe even by the end of today!
Middleton, of course, gave birth to the fifth heir to the throne at St. Mary’s Hospital in London on April 23. Kensington Palace announced the news on Twitter as follows:
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.
Upon debuting the infant to the public on Monday (below), Middleton paid tribute to her late mother-in-law by wearing a dress similar to the one donned by Princess Diana back when she debuted Prince Harry.
Pretty cool, huh?
As for how four-year old brother George and two-year old sister Charlotte are responding to the arrival of their small sibling?
“Will and Kate [are] making sure [the children] felt included in everything,” an insider tells Us Weekly.
Of course they are. We’d expect nothing less from such amazing parents.
We continue to send our best wishes to Kate, William and all their kids.
We cannot wait to watch them all grow up!
