Kate Middleton"s Boyfriend: The Truth About Her Illicit Affair Revealed

Kate Middleton has been married to Prince William for over seven years, and the union has been relatively scandal-free throughout.

Sure, there were allegations of William cheating on Kate in 2017, but by royal marriage standards, these two have given the UK gossip rags very little to get excited about in the years since they tied the knot.

If asked to choose just one adjective to describe Will and Kate’s relationship, one might be inclined to go with dull — and that’s just how Buckingham Palace likes it.

These days, when there’s a new report on Will and Kate, it’s usually about their children or her fashion sense.

The whole thing almost feels perfunctory, as though the press is concerned that if they ignored the boringly stable couple altogether, it would confirm the public’s worst suspicions about tabloid journalism.

Prior to getting married, however, Will and Kate were a subject of international fascination.

Middleton was “Waity Katie,” forced to suffer the public humiliation of biding her time while Will took years to decide if she was worthy of a proposal.

At one point — possibly because of Kate’s frustration with this lengthy process — the couple even called it quits.

This was in March of 2007.

The official, Palace-approved narrative is that Kate spent that time traveling, spending time with her family, and engaging in a bit of much-needed soul-searching.

She even spoke about the experience shortly after getting engaged to Prince William in 2010.

“I think I at the time wasn’t very happy about it, but actually it made me a stronger person,” Kate said at the time.

“You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn’t realized,” she added.

“Or I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you’re younger. I really valued that time for me as well although I didn’t think it at the time, looking back on it.”

The statement was Will and Kate in a nutshell — elegant, poised and entirely free of impropriety.

But the actual story of Will and Kate’s hiatus is considerably more interesting.

And one aspect that’s rarely discussed these days is the fact that both parties dated other people.

Will briefly pursued Isabella Calthorpe — the sister of Prince Harry’s ex, Crssida Bonas — but insiders say nothing much came of the relationship.

Kate’s fling, on the other hand, was far more consequential.

The Duchess of Cambridge became romantically involved with a man named Henry Ropner, who was an Eton classmate of William’s.

And sources claimed the relationship advanced rather quickly.

“Henry is delighted to be there for Kate now that she’s split from William,” an insider told The Daily Mail at the time.

“They’ve been meeting up and enjoying themselves.”

Interestingly, Ropner’s ties to Will go beyond the fact that they attended school together.

Will had previously dated an ex of Ropner’s named Jecca Craig just weeks after she parted ways with Henry.

So was Ropner dating Kate out of a desire for revenge?

We may never know, but it’s worth noting that Will reportedly flew into a rage after seeing photos of his ex and his former classmate together.

Just weeks after those pics went public, Will and Kate reconciled, sparking rumors that it was Will’s jealousy that drew them back together.

In July of 2011, Ropner married Natasha Sinclair with the Duke and Duchess in attendance.

So it seems that these days all is well among the members of this short-lived love triangle.

But still, the whole situation serves as a reminder that even a couple as posh and put-together as Will and Kate is not above hiding a skeleton or two in their closet.

Prince Louis: What"s Behind William and Kate Middleton"s Baby Name?

Earlier this week, Prince William and Kate Middleton introduced their third child to the world.

But early on Friday, Prince William and Kate Middleton truly introduced their child to the world.

Because now that child has a name!

Indeed, the newborn pictured above is SO gosh darn cute!

But he’s also named Louis Arthur Charles, we can now confirm, courtesy of a Tweet today from Kensington Palace.

To be exact (and formal), he’ll be called “His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.”

It’s better than True, Stormi or Chicago, right?

But from where did this name come? Why did William and Kate go with Louis as their son’s first name?

For starters, a multitude of British royal family members have used the moniker as a middle name, including William himself (whose full name is William Arthur Philip Louis), and also big brother Prince George (whose full name is George Alexander Louis).

Louis also happens to be the middle name of Queen Elizabeth II’s youngest child, Prince Edward (otherwise known as Edward Antony Richard Louis).

In all likelihood, this is who the name is meant to honor.

Philip’s grandfather was Prince Louis Alexander of Battenberg.

The name holds significant meaning to William’s own father, too, Prince Charles, whose great-uncle and mentor, Earl Louis Mountbatten, was actually killed by the IRA in 1979.

For what it’s also worth, notes CNN, Louis stems from the name Ludwig, which can be interpreted as “renowned warrior.”

That’s a pretty nice term/noun to be affiliated with, no?

“Louis is obviously a favorite name and an indirect nod to the Duke of Edinburgh and his side of the family,” Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine, tells People, adding:

“I did think that Philip might have appeared in there somewhere.”

So did we. Alas.

As for Arthur and Charles?

Both names are shared by the baby’s grandfather, whose full name is Charles Philip Arthur George.

Here, once again, William shares Arthur as a middle name.

Moreover, Charles is a middle name of the child’s uncle Prince Harry, whose full name is Henry Charles Albert David.

There’s a lot to consider here, people. Many Royals across many generations come into play.

The important thing overall right now, of course, is that the baby is doing well.

Now that they are back home in Kensington Palace with their new baby boy, Prince William and Kate Middleton have started life as a family of five.

It’s all worked out so well for them.

“It completes them,” royal biographer Ingrid Seward tells People in this week’s cover story.

Elsewhere, a friend of the couple notes that Middleton “is one of three siblings, and it’s a good family size. Boy-girl-boy is pretty cool as well.”

We agree!

Congrats to everyone involved!

Kate Middleton"s Green Dress to BAFTA More About Pregnancy Than Time"s Up Snub

Isobel Kennerley: Kate Middleton"s Childhood Friend Dies at 34

Isobel Kennerley, a childhood friend of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, has died after a three-year battle against a brain tumor.

She was only 34.

Kennerley, who was a member of Kate’s Brownie pack, tragically suffered “utmost pain” and dignity in recent years, according to her family.

Her mother, Christine Eeley, hopes Isobel’s passing will ultimately result in a change in the nation’s law to enable terminally ill patients.

Those who are terminally ill should be be able to “control the manner and the timing” of their deaths, says the 65-year-old mother-of-two.

“Isobel became trapped in her body … She couldn’t move a muscle, couldn’t eat and couldn’t speak at the end.”

“She was bedridden for so long that she developed huge hideous, stinking bedsores on her back and buttocks.”

“She cried out endlessly in pain and when she was able to mumble a few words, begged her husband and me every single day to help her to die.”

Isobel, who had cerebral palsy, met Kate and her sister Pippa Middleton, in 1990, when they joined the 1st St Andrew’s pack of Brownies.

The trio slept in camp bunk beds in old RAF buildings, set in 17 acres at Macaroni Wood, in the Cotswolds, where they fed chickens.

Along with the other girls, they collected eggs, watched chicks hatch, bottle-fed lambs and kid goats and went for horse-and-cart rides.

“I really enjoyed it,” Isobel recalled later, adding that the Middletons and everyone were “really kind to me because I have a disability.”

“I remember going to Brownie camp at Macaroni Wood and coming back to find an owl at the end of my bed. I don’t remember what I did to deserve it.”

“I remember feeling really pleased.”

After Brownies, Kate and Isobel’s paths diverged as the two girls went to different schools, but those memories are vivid and lasting.

Isobel went onto become a teaching assistant at Newbury’s St. Bartholomew’s School, specializing in caring for autistic children.

It was while she was at Newbury College that she would meet her future husband Scott Kennerley, 33, who was working at a local hotel.

The couple married in 2010, and she had begun to work toward a Master’s Degree. Yet four years later, Isobel fell seriously ill.

“She started to get pains in the left-hand side of her body,” said her mother Eeley, who also has a son Alexander, 37.

“We all thought it was her cerebral palsy. She was really struggling. She gradually had to be in a manual wheelchair and then in a power chair.”

“We went back to the GP time and time again but nobody got to the bottom of what was causing her pain. In the end I insisted we saw a neurologist.”

Isobel was diagnosed with the tumor at Reading’s Royal Berkshire Hospital in September 2014, after being given an MRI scan.

It was discovered, after having a biopsy, that she discovered she had a Grade IV glioblastoma and there was no cure for it.

“We were just devastated,” her mother said. “You never imagine that your child will die before you. But Isobel was so brave.”

“She faced it head on.”

Over the next year, Isobel had six weeks of daily chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment before undergoing another six months of chemo.

That succeeded in shrinking the tumor, but by August last year she was unable to walk as her condition began to deteriorate.

She was awarded this year’s Sue Ryder Southern Woman of Courage Award for her bravery in fighting through the ordeal.

In March she went into Reading’s Sue Ryder Hospice where she was given days to live; Isobel lived another seven weeks.

“Isobel was the bravest girl imaginable,” said her mother.

“She was born with cerebral palsy and was paralyzed down the left side of her body, but she always pushed herself beyond her physical limits. “

“She never ever complained about what life had thrown at her and, even as a child and after many operations to help her mobility.”

“She just smiled her way through life.”

Meghan Markle: NOT Invited to Pippa Middleton"s Wedding?!

As you’ve probably heard, Pippa Middleton married James Matthews over the weekend, in a ceremony that was pretty low-key by the standards of a “semi-royal” wedding.

Clearly, Pippa wanted to keep the guest list small, and we’re guessing the reason for that wasn’t that she wanted to save some cash.

(Pippa has some well-off in-laws.)

No, what’s more likely is that Pippa didn’t want to be overshadowed at her own wedding, which is perfectly understandable.

Unfortunately, when your sister is married to a dude who’s gonna be a king someday, that’s no easy feat.

In addition to the media’s obsession with Kate Middleton, Pippa had to contend with a new up-and-comer in the form of Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle.

There were rumors that Meghan would not be invited to the wedding, but it was widely assumed that the Pipster would cave when the time came.

But in a move that proves once and for all that the Brits are the undisputed masters of passive-aggressive shade, Pippa stuck to her no MegMar policy … kind of.

Witnesses and photos from the big day show that Meghan was not in attendance at Pippa’s ceremony.

But she did attend the reception, showing up shotgun in Harry’s silver Audi.

So it sounds like some sort of royal compromise was reached, wherein Meghan would be permitted to sit through the awkward groomsmen toasts but not to watch Pippa and James exchange vows.

Meg made out like a bandit on this deal, as everyone knows the ceremony is just the boring part you have to suffer through in order to get to the open bar.

People magazine consulted an etiquette expert in order to determine if this is an unusual arrangement, because that’s the sort of thing People magazine does in this sort of situation:

“I would not be surprised if Prince Harry was not given a plus one, as the wedding guest list would have most likely been made in fall of last year when Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan was not as public,” the expert said.

“I typically recommend if someone is married, engaged, considers themselves to have a serious significant other, or is traveling in for the wedding, they should receive a plus one.”

So there you have it.

It’s acceptable to not invite any basic cable legal drama stars to your ceremony as long as you hit them with a free overcooked filet mignon afterward.

Valuable info just in time for wedding season.

Meghan Markle: FINALLY Invited to Pippa Middleton"s Wedding?!

In just two weeks, Pippa Middleton will marry James Matthews.

Usually, this close to a wedding (particularly a high-profile “almost royal” wedding), the guest list is pretty much etched in stone, but in this case it seems there’s a lot of last-minute tinkering going on.

In order to understand why the guest list is so important to Pippa, you have to remember that it was a wedding that made her a household name.

For much of the world, Kate and William’s wedding was the first time they laid eyes on the younger Middleton sister.

For reasons that remain unclear, Pippa’s butt became a worldwide trending topic, but the love affair between her pert backside and the public would prove short-lived.

After a few failed attempts at careers in the public eye, Pippa is mostly a footnote these days, but she reportedly sees this wedding as an opportunity to crawl back into the headlines, however briefly.

As such, the supporting cast that will surround her on the big day has to be meticulously curated.

Pippa is reportedly attempting a tricky balancing act – loading the guest with enough big names to ensure that her wedding is a star-studded affair, while at the same time avoiding being overshadowed by up-and-comers more famous than herself.

Obviously, Meghan Markle is the up-and-comer du jour, and Pippa is reportedly very concerned about being outshone.

As recently as last month, Meghan was not invited to Pippa’s wedding, a casualty of the “no ring, no bring policy” (guests who aren’t married or engaged aren’t permitted a “plus one).

After some cajoling, Pippa reportedly eased up and gave Harry permission to bring Meghan to the reception, but not to the ceremony.

Insiders say Harry made it clear that that wasn’t good enough, and if Meghan was not invited to the ceremony, he wouldn’t be attending either.

Apparently the ultimatum worked, because The Daily Express is reporting today that Pippa has broken down and offered Meghan a formal invitation to watch her say “I do.”

We imagine the evening will be more than a little awkward, as Pippa has indirectly made it quite clear that she doesn’t want Meghan there.

Of course, explaining to the press why Harry didn’t show up would be even more awkward.

Meghan Markle: BANNED From Pippa Middleton"s Wedding?!

Some claim that when Kate Middleton married Prince William back in 2011, Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, received more press coverage than press coverage than the bride.

Obviously, that’s an exaggeration, but Pippa did receive a lot of attention that day for reasons that still aren’t entirely clear.

It had something to do with Pippa’s butt and the fact that it’s apparently big by British standards.

We imagine the average Englishman pops his monocle and faints dead away if you show him a picture of Kim Kardashian.

Anyway, for whatever reason many believe that Pippa stole the show from her royal sister, and now it seems Pippa is doing everything she can to avoid a similar on her own wedding day.

Pippa will marry hedge fund manager James Matthews in May, and it was initially reported that her wedding would serve as a venue for the first official appearance of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Now, however, sources close to Pippa say she’s instituted a policy to ensure that she won’t be upstaged at her own wedding.

Since arguing with the bride-to-be in the weeks leading up to a wedding can result in instant death-by-eye-gouging, Pippa could have simply said she doesn’t want to see anyone who’s name starts with “M” and ends with “-eghan Markle” at the ceremony.

Instead, she kept up appearances by issuing a broader rule:

Tipsters claim Pippa has announced a strict “no ring, no bring” policy, according to which, no one guests will be permitted a plus one unless their married or engaged.

Hilariously, it would also mean that her fiance’s brother, Spencer Matthews, would not be permitted to bring his model girlfriend, Vogue Williams.

Apparently, that’s just fine by Pippa, as Williams is a somewhat of a celebrity in the UK, thanks to her role on the reality show Made in Chelsea.

So Williams is a potential spotlight-stealer, too, but sources say she’s a collateral damage bonus kill for Pippa, who mainly has her sights set on Meghan.

Of course, this whole thing could end up backfiring on Meghan.

There are already rumors that Harry and Meghan are engaged, and even if that’s not the case, Harry still has a few weeks left to pop the question.

Imagine the scenario:

Harry shows up with Meghan; Pippa approaches to give her the boot; Meghan flashes a ring, and says something badass like, “Butt out, Pippa.”

Ryan Murphy would have a Pips vs. Meg miniseries ready to go the next day.

15 Things You May Have Missed From Prince Will and Kate Middleton"s Royal Wedding

Happy 5th royal wedding anniversary!

Looking back on the events of April 29th, 2011, we vividly remember Catherine"s Alexander McQueen wedding gown (all that lace!), the Cartier Halo tiara she borrowed from the Queen (so much sparkle), and the two balcony kisses (bless you, Wills).

As with many whirlwind events, some things happen so quickly that they pass us by.

Check out the slideshow below to check out some of the royal wedding"s most memorable moments you may have missed.

1. You’ve Got Some Lint On Your Veil, Darling

2. SWOON

Prince harry leaves westminster abbey after the royal wedding

We were too buy oogling over Will and Kate getting into their fairytale carriage, to notice this smoldering photo of Prince Harry. He’s still single, ladies.

3. There Goes The Top Hat

Michael middletons top hat falls out of rolls royce

The man can be forgiven for allowing his jaunty hat to fall out of Her Majesty’s Rolls-Royce. He was likely more concerned with not getting sick in front of 2 billion people.

4. Stolen Moments

Doesn’t it feel like you’re invading the most private moment of all time? It’s just me? Nevermind…

5. Gentlemen Always Bow To Their Granny

Were this a less formal event, William and Harry would have first kissed Queen Elizabeth II on both cheeks, then bowed briefly from the neck. This occasion, however, called for a more ceremonial greeting.

Kate Middleton"s Eyebrows: Too Distracting! Too Thick!

If it’s not about her bangs, then it’s about the eyebrows.

On February 7th, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the 75th anniversary of the Royal Air Force Cadets service at the RAF St. Clement Danes chapel.

This marked Catherine’s first engagement as Honorary Air Commandant, a patronage handed over to her by the Duke of Edinburgh, who served as Air Commodore-In-Chief for 63 years.

However, the focus was less on the exciting new role (Prince William is a retired RAF Search-and-Rescue pilot), but on her eyebrows.

I’ve been waxing my eyebrows since the tender age of 12 (it was necessary, trust me), so I know a thing or two about how their shape affects one’s overall “look.

However, to point out Catherine’s (which, IMO, look perfectly fine) is a serious grasp for straws.

The Daily Mail accuses Catherine’s of looking waxy and “over-filled,” which makes the skin “around the eyes look hollow and saggy,” and emphasizes “crow’s feet and under-eye shadows.”

The DM, always kind when it comes to a lady’s appearance, claims that Catherine has be “so concerned about having thin, patchy eyebrows” that she bought Bobbi Brown’s “Brow Kit” ($ 48) back in 2012 to fill them out and “emphasize her green eyes.”

Natalie Plain, founder of the Billion Dollar Brows, told the Mail that Catherine used “way too much brow make-up without blending,” and that they distracted people from her “fine delicate features.”

I’m sure Her Royal Highness has taken your critiques into account, and will review them at her 10-bedroom mansion where she resides with her two beautiful children and dashing husband (who’s a prince, FYI).

That is, after she oversees the installment of a tennis court in her backyard.

K, bai.

Carole Middleton: Did Kate Middleton"s Mom Get Drunk at Rugby Match?

Anyone who’s ever been to an NFL game knows that Americans are no slouches when it comes to getting epically sloshed and rowdy at sporting events.

But believe it or not, we’ve got nothing on UK soccer and rugby fanatics.

These blokes earn the name “hooligans” at just about every match by guzzling pints and bashing their shaved skulls into one another regardless of whether their team wins or loses.

Needless to say, it’s not the sort of affair that’s necessarily fit for royals, or even royal in-laws, but that didn’t stop Carole Middleton from (reportedly) getting a little tipsy at the England vs. Australia Rugby World Cup match at Twickenham Stadium in London.

Maybe it was the fact that England was bounced out of the tournament after a 33-13 arse-whupping. Maybe it’s the fact that Pippa Middleton can’t hold down a job. Or perhaps she’s bracing herself Duchess Kate’s third tumultuous pregnancy.

We like to think that Carole just felt like tying one on, so she did just that.

The woman is forced to live her life in the public eye, and she has constantly has to worry about pissing off the Queen.

If anyone’s to entitled get proper pissed at a rugby match, it’s Carole.
