Donald Trump to Royals: Remember When I Tried to Bang Princess Di?

Someday in the near future, when you and your family are gathered around a flickering Coleman lantern, digesting the golden retriever you enjoyed for dinner in the nightmarish hellscape that was once America, your children will ask you how Donald Trump came to be president in the first place.

As you have so many times before, you’ll explain that it all started in the Eighties — a time when the country was rich, the clothing was hideous, and douchebags reigned supreme.

While the Donald was writing checks to the guy who wrote The Art of the Deal and plastering his name all over Manhattan, another blonde icon of the era was charming the masses half a world away.

Yes, although her marriage to Prince Charles was already crumbling, in 1987, Princess Diana was still “the people’s princess,” the most beloved royal in recent memory.

Lady Di had poise, grace, and the adoration of millions.

In other words, she was the polar opposite of the man who was not-so-affectionately dubbed “the Donald.”

So it should come as no surprise that when she and Charles finally called it quits, Trump swooped in and attempted to seduce Diana.

And in the predatory fashion he’s become known for, Trump wouldn’t take no for an answer.

This week, Trump will visit the UK for the first time as president.

And his past behavior and comments toward the royal family are very much on the minds of many Brits.

Members of the British media have been particularly fixated on a 2015 report from a BBC journalist and longtime friend of Diana’s named Selina Scott.

“Trump clearly saw Diana as the ultimate trophy wife,” Scott wrote.

Scott says Trump flat-out stalked Princess Di, to the point that his lavish presents became a source of great concern:

“As the roses and orchids piled up at her apartment she became increasingly concerned about what she should do. It had begun to feel as if Trump was stalking her,” Scott claimed.

“‘What am I going to do?’ she asked. ‘He gives me the creeps.’ ‘Just throw them in the bin,’ I advised. Diana laughed.”

Trump later admitted to being rebuffed by Diana and referred to her as “the one regret in the women department.”

Trump enjoyed a perverse sort of revenge in the years after Diana’s death, boasting that he “could have slept with her” in interviews, even though there were “times when she didn’t look so great.”

After placing Diana on his top ten list of women he would like to sleep with during an interview with Howard Stern, Trump added:

“She was crazy, but those are minor details.”

And Diana’s not the only female royal to capture the Donald’s creepy attention.

Whan topless photos of Kate Middleton made the rounds back in 2012, Trump tweeted that it was Kate’s fault the pics went public.

“Kate Middleton is great–but she shouldn’t be sunbathing in the nude–only herself to blame,” he tweeted at the time.

“Who wouldn’t take Kate’s picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing. Come on Kate!” 

Needless to say, all of this might make for a very awkward official visit.

Fortunately, the new generation of female royals are not easily intimidated by Trump — and at least one of them has already experienced his creepiness head on.

Sources say Meghan Markle “avoided” Trump when she was a model on Deal or No Deal and he made a guest appearance on the show.

If only we could all take that approach.

Ray J and Princess Love Welcome First Child!

In the Kim Kardashian sex tape, the world’s most famous reality star figuratively referred to Ray J as her “daddy.”

But now a different female will be making this reference, in a far more official capacity.

That’s right, folks, Ray J is a father!

The former adult film director and occasional hip hop artist confirmed this exciting news on Tuesday night, writing the following message on Instagram:

“ITS TIME!! @rayjnprincess #GODISAMAZING #BABYGIRL #LOVEWINS.”

Those words accompanied a video that documented his unique and sometimes tumultuous love story with Princess Love.

Ray J (whose real name is William Norwood Jr. and who is the brother of singer Brandy Norwood) announced the fashion designer’s pregnancy in November of last year.

“Love is on my mind. Love is on my heart,” he gushed while cohosting The Real, explaining his mood as follows:

“Princess and I are expecting. I’mma be a dad. I’m nervous, excited. It finally happened, My first one.”

He then told viewers that he hoped to welcome a daughter:

“I want to have a little girl first because it’s like daddy’s little girl.

“A little boy is probably going to be a little aggressive, so I just want to be able to have some peace first. But whatever God blesses us with, I’m happy.”

God, of course, has blessed Ray J with an unusual way of making a living.

Yes, he records the occasional song.

And, yes, he earned a salary from his role on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

But Ray STILL makes money off the sales of Kim Kardashian Superstar, which hit the market back in 2007, but which is still popular to this day.

Said the D-Lister upon introducing himself as a Celebrity Big Brother UK contestant in early 2017:

“You might know me for a lot of things – music, reality TV, oh, and you might also know me for my dick.”

He isn’t exactly ashamed of having filmed a raunchy sex act with Kardashian. He continues to promote the video any chance he gets!

“People wanna know about the sex tape with me and Kim Kardashian,” he added during his appearance on the aforementioned reality show, continuing:

“Order it, put some money in my pocket … Y’all still jerking off to the sex tape? Enjoy.”

How can anyone not love Ray J?!?

In a bit more of a serious note, however, Ray J talked on his episode of The Real about how he and Princess Love struggled to conceive.

“I don’t know the process of it – when it actually happened, what night – but it was special because we was trying for a while,” the VH1 alum said a few months ago.

“It’s not as easy as people think. For some people, they just go on tour and get everybody pregnant.

“But for me, it was love. We took our time, and as we were taking our time, it just took a little while.”

Once again, for Ray J, is all comes down to sex.

Meghan Markle: How Did She Honor Princess Diana at the Royal Wedding?

As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in an unforgettable ceremony at Windsor Castle this morning.

At this point, virtually every aspect of the royal wedding has been dissected on social media and in the tabloids.

There have been in-depth discussions about Meghan and Harry’s celebrity guests; the moving ceremony that incorporated elements of the cultures in which both newlyweds were raised; and of course, the fabulous dress worn by the new Duchess of Sussex.

But some of the more subtle details of the ceremony have been largely overlooked.

For example, there’s been little coverage of the moving ways in which Meghan and Harry paid tribute to his late mother, Princess Diana.

The most poignant tribute to the late Princess Di may have been the inclusion of her most beloved flower in Meghan’s 16-foot veil.

“The spring blooms include Forget-Me-Nots which were Diana, Princess of Wales’ favorite flower,” a statement from Kensington Palace read.

“The couple specifically chose them to be included in Ms. Markle’s bouquet to honor the memory of the late Princess on this special day.”

For her second outfit of the day (pictured above) Meghan combined her something borrowed with her something blue by sporting an aquamarine ring from Princess Diana’s private collection.

Meg also kept an unofficial British tradition alive by collaborating with a female British designer to craft the perfect dress, just as Di and Kate Middleton did.

As for Harry, his signals that his mother was on his mind were a bit more subtle but no less potent.

Royal watchers believe Harry’s tendency to bite his lower lip was inherited from Diana:

“This is a micro-expression,” human behavioral expert Susan Constantine tells Good Housekeeping.

“In this deeply personal moment, Harry is trying to conceal his emotions.”

And that’s not the only way in which Harry’s body language spoke volumes, as royal experts noted that he flouted custom by watching Meg walk down the aisle:

“At a British wedding, the groom and his best man (or supporter) will face the altar as the bride walks down the aisle,” says Myka Meira of Beaumont Etiquette.

“He won’t turn to look at her until she is beside him.”

Those Brits, they’re an understated bunch.

Princess Charlotte Kisses Prince Louis and the Internet Collectively Melts

Simply put, photographs may not get any more adorable than this.

On Saturday afternoon, Prince William and Kate Middleton surprised their many millions of fans by sharing two new photos of their precious new bundle of joy.

In the first image, Prince Louis is being cradled and kissed by big sister Charlotte and the resulting image is nearly too cute to handle:

Right?!?!?!?!?!

Little Louis, of course, came into the world on April 23.

Following months of excitement and even speculation that Middleton was pregnant with twins, the Royal Couple announced on a Monday morning that Charlotte and Prince George now have a brother.

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101 hrs,” read the official Kensington Palace statement at the time.

It then added two key pieces of information:

“The baby weighs 8 lbs 7 oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.”

Louis was born in Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London – where the couple’s other kids were also born – and is dressed in all white for his pair of new photos.

In the one below, Louis is on his own, giving social media users their first true and clear glimpse and his angelic face:

This second photo was reportedly snapped on April 26, when Louis was just three days old.

(And on which Charlotte turned three years old.)

In the past, William and Kate waited about a month before dropping similar professional pictures on the world of their children.

“Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank members of the public for all of the kind messages they have received following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday,” Kensington Palace announced this week.

Back in early June of 2015, Kate and William unveiled this snapshot of George and Charlotte in a similar pose.

Seriously, do these two know how to make beautiful babies or what?!?

In a brief statement to the media shortly after his second son was born, William said Louis is sleeping about as strongly as one could expect and that his mother was doing pretty “well.”

We’re so very glad to hear it.

Along other Royal lines, we recently learned that Pippa Middleton is also pregnant; while Prince Harry will marry Meghan Markle on Saturday, May 19.

It is unlikely that we will see Prince Louis in public until his christening, however.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that the newborn royal will not be attending the royal wedding.”

Still: Wow, huh?

Talk about crazy and exciting times for all involved.

We wish the very, VERY best to Kate, William and their three kids.

“I don’t know how I’m going to cope with three. I’m going to be permanently tired,” William has said prior to Louis’ birth, echoing the sentiments of nearly every parent out there.

But if anyone can do it, we think he and Kate can pull this off.

Kate Middleton: How Did She Pay Tribute to Princess Diana with Third Baby Debut?

On Monday morning, Kate Middleton gave birth to her third child.

Perhaps you heard!

The baby was a boy… he entered the world at 11:01 a.m. local time… and he weighed eight pounds, seven ounces.

Oh, and he’s also adorable, as evidenced here:

Indeed, a mere seven hours (seven hours!) after becoming a mother once again, Middleton got all dolled and all made up in order to present her son to the world.

We’ve collected a fair share of these indelible images below.

But while they make clear just how happy Prince William and his lovely Duchess are to have a bundle of you to care for, there’s one important aspect to these photos that is not evident at first glance.

And that is this:

Middleton actually paid homage to Princess Diana during the memorable public appearance.

How so?

Nearly 34 years ago, when the late and great Princess Diana presented son Prince Harry to the universe, she also wore a red outfit featuring a white Peter Pan collar.

There’s just no way this was a coincidence.

The new mother’s dress – a red ensemble from Jenny Packham (who designed all three of Kate’s post-birth ensembles) – was undoubtedly a nod to the new baby’s maternal grandmother, who, of tragically, died in a car crash in 1997.

And we weren’t the only people who noticed this, either.

At least one Twitter user believes Kate paid homage to Diana with the outfits she wore for the presentation of this child and of Prince George:

When she gave birth to George in 2013, Middleton rocked a blue polka-dot Jenny Packham dress at his unveiling, invoking the same print that Diana herself wore to present William to the world in 1982.

Pretty cool, right?

Awfully special, no?

The Royal Couple is yet to announce the name of its third kid, but William and Kate and now at home in Kensington Place, trying to get as much sleep as possible while caring for him.

“It completes them,” royal biographer Ingrid Seward tells People Magazine, while a friend of the tandem notes that Kate “is one of three siblings, and it’s a good family size.”

What about four-year old George and big sister Princess Charlotte, who turns 3 on May 2?

The toddler “are so excited,” says another friend, adding:

“Kate’s worried that Charlotte will feel it the hardest as the youngest, but she’s such a confident little girl and growing up so fast, Kate is hoping she will adjust.”

That’s a normal concern, of course.

There’s bound to be some jealousy when the kids see Mommy paying attention to another tiny human all of a sudden.

But it will surpass. And sleep will come again someday for the baby’s parents.

Until then, it’s just important that they savor every second they have with their newborn.
