Jessa Duggar Reveals Favorite Sibling, Shocks Fans

Shortly after we learned that Jinger Duggar is engaged to Jeremy Vuolo, the new couple was flooded with congratulatory tweets, texts and Instagram comments from all corners of the Internet.

Naturally, many of those congrats came from members of Jinger’s sizable family, with all of her siblings who are allowed to have social media accounts giving her heartfelt shout-outs.

For the most part, the messages (which, of course, Jinger can’t see, as she’s not yet permitted to use Instagram, Twitter or Facebook) have consisted of the usual gushing about what a great couple JinJer make, and what great parents they’ll be to their 47 children.

But one comment in particular has raised questions amongst fans for an interesting reason.

Jessa Duggar posted the awkwardly screenshotted pic above, along with a caption reading:

“Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!! My best friend (aka little sister) is engaged!!!! Congrats, Jinger and Jeremy!!!!!!!!”

As Duggar obsessives know, Jessa is most commonly associated with her sister Jill.

Not only did the two of them get married and start families around the same time, but their bond is such that the family’s spinoff reality show is named after the two of them!

Yes, the other Duggar siblings (well, the ones who weren’t involved in multiple sex scandals) are also on the show, but it’s titled Jill & Jessa: Counting On for a reason.

Those two were always widely believed to be best friends who just so happened to be sisters.

So it comes as a bit of a surprise to see Jessa referring to her lil sis Jinger as her bestie.

Could be that she’s cheating and she’s just one of those people who calls everyone her best friend.

Either way, we’re guessing Jill feels a little cheated today.

Bow Wow Announces Retirement, Internet Users Wonder If It"s 2007

Bow Wow has decided to bow out.

Taking fans by surprise (for contrasting reasons, as you’ll read about below), the 29-year old rapper announced today that he’s set to call it a career.

As the told his 3.16 million Twitter followers on Monday morning, the upcoming album “NYLTH” will be his last.

Ever.

“I always said years ago i’d retire from music before 30,” the musician wrote. “I just cant see myself at 30 years old rapping.”

Bow Wow is the nephew of Snoop Dogg.

He came into the rapping world as Lil Bow Wow back in 2000, dropping his debut album at the age of 13.

In a series of tweets, Bow Wow recounted all the success he’s gone on to enjoy since then.

“Over 10 million sold, 6 arena tours, 10 top 10’s, a few number 4 platinum albums, 2 gold albums. I’M DONE,” he wrote.

He continued:

“Retirement only means that it is time for a new adventure.’ over 10 million sold. This the last one. THANK YOU. Made over 20 million off rap. Why be greedy?

“I’m good with everything i accomplished. I made it to the White House.”

Shifting over to Instagram, Bow Wow gave his fans a tease of what’s on tap:

“My last album will be executive produced by my uncle Snoop and myself.

“Since he brought me in the game, its only right i involve him and end it with him. ITS OFFICIAL!!!! THIS S–T BOUT TO BANG ON MOMMAS!

“And we aiming and im talking RECKLESS on this album. NOBODY SAFE #DPG #ATK THE TITLE OF MY FINAL ALBUM ‘NYLTH."”

Bow Wow, who has gone by his birth name (Shad Moss) since 2014, is best known for such singles as “Bounce with Me,” “Bow Wow (That’s My Name),” “Puppy Love,” “My Baby” and Let’s Get Down.”

In addition to music, he’s found success on the big and small screens, appearing in All About the Benjamins, CSI: Cyber, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Like Mike, Roll Bounce, Smallville and Ugly Betty.

You can expect to see plenty more of him in an acting capacity down the line.

After one follower said he thought Bow retired in 2007, the artist got angry.

“Just decided to get movie and tv money. Crazy how when JT did what i did NO ONE hated. I do it, its he fell off etc,” the 29-year old wrote.

He later referenced Justin Timberlake in yet another tweet Monday, writing;

“When i decided to take years off to do tv and film, they said i fell off. When JT did it, nobody questioned that.”

Bow Wow said he’ll be barking (get it?!?) up the “acting and hosting” tree going forward, in addition to producing a pair of television shows.

“Its a blessing to have made millions and can retire before 30,” he Tweeted. “I mean im extremely happy.”

There you have it.

Annemiek van Vleuten: Dutch Cyclist Wipes Out During Olympic Race

Nothing is worse than training for the most important race of your life, only to fall victim to the elements and land in a ditch.

Dutch cyclist Annemiek van Vleuten was taking part in the women"s road race at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, when her bike lost its grip on the slippery road and sent van Vlueten crashing over the curb.

She was just six miles from the finish line when the accident occurred, and video shared by betting site, Spread Ex shows van Vlueten lying on the side of the road.

While she was rushed the hospital, her teammate, Anna van der Breggen was able to cross the finish line first and clinch gold.

Former cyclist and BBC commentator Chris Boardman expressed his outrage over the crash.

"I’m actually quite angry because I looked at the road furniture and thought nobody can crash here and get up,” he said, according to the Daily Mail.

“This was way past technical, this was dangerous.”

After watching the footage, it"s hard to believe that van Vlueten would be OK.  Fortunatley, she was able to tweet an update to concerned viewers.

"I am now in the hospital with some injuries and fractures, but will be fine. Most of all super disappointed after best race of my career."

van der Breggen recalled the series of events that occurred, and how she focused on winning gold not just for herself, but for her friend and teammate.

"We saw Annemiek at the side of the road; it was very strange because it just looked not good," the gold medalist said, according to the Guardian.

"That shocked me and I think it shocked us all. It was difficult to carry on from there. Afterwards Emma [Johanssen, Sweden] said – just do it for Annemiek and I thought – yeah, that’s right. We took turns from there and got ourselves into race mode.”
