Sister Wives Season 11 Episode 2 Recap: Who is to Blame?

Last night on TLC’s Sister Wives Season 11 Episode 2, Janelle and Meri Brown went to a therapist in an effort to mend their relationship.

Easier said than done, as you might expect.

Those who watch Sister Wives online know that while the wives have their issues, Kody Brown is at the root of all the family drama.

How did he respond here?

We picked up with Janelle, who was planning a bridal shower for her daughter, Maddie.

In true Sister Wives fashion, she had no idea about modern bridal showers, but that did not mean she was without help.

Maddie’s best friend and Robyn’s sister joined in the fun as they had some great ideas that would make sure Maddie had the best bridal shower.

When Janelle learned that some of the people were going to bring lingerie for Maddie, she made her feelings known as she believed it was not appropriate with all of the family being there.

The plan?

Two tables. One with classy gifts and one with not so classy gifts.

It was the best way to make sure things went to plan and there was no drama.

The sister wives were nervous at the prospect of the lewd gifts, mostly due to the fact they had all raised her at some point or another.

Meanwhile, Kody Brown was not impressed at the prospect of Mykelti getting married so soon after Maddie because he worried about what affect the wedding would have on his finances.

Coupled with the fact that Mykelti has barely dated Tony, Kody believed there was something not quite right about what was going on with in the relationship.

Elsewhere, Mariah was worried about what was going to happen to her in the wake of Meri’s catfishing situation.

Surprisingly, Kody spoke to her about it in detail.

Kody then said it would make sense for Mariah and Meri to hit therapy in order to try and hash things out.

Mariah was defiant and we got a resounding no from her, but Kody knew she would cave eventually.

After all of that, Mykelti and Tony decided to have a longer engagement to ensure things were going to be good in their relationship before getting married.

Janelle was worried Mykelti’s looming wedding could overshadow Maddie’s, so she was happy it was put on hold.

When will they get married?

Mariah"s World Recap: A Vision of Love, British Accents

Mariah’s World, which premiered last night, sought to answer a time-honored question pondered by generations of music and gossip fans:

What is it like to live in Mariah Carey’s world?

Well, on Mariah’s World Season 1 Episode 1, viewers witnessed the pop singing great and renowned diva grapple with many hurdles.

Professionally, and obviously, personally.

We kicked things off with Mariah introducing us to her world in the most bizarre fashion. Seriously, it was awful.

She dressed up as “Bianca Storm” and started lifting the lid on the life of the singing sensation, while speaking in a British accent.

“I can’t describe Mariah…. The world doesn’t know how awful she really is.”

As we all know already, Mariah and James Packer are no more, but the episode was showing us just how the cracks started to appear in the relationship.

Their schedules were just all over the place, so it’s clear the show was always going to foreshadow the end of the relationship.

Mariah was vocal to her management about having a lot on her plate with her tour and wedding. It was clear Mariah was probably going to have to delay the wedding to be able to do the tour.

It sucks, but that’s just what happens sometimes.

If you thought things could not get anymore ridiculous, Stella interviewed someone to join Mariah’s team and made the woman promise not to be in a relationship for the first year.

The woman was in a relationship.

Yikes.

A very odd thing about the episode was that Mariah reconnected with Bryan Tanaka, who just so happens to be her current boyfriend.

Mariah and Bryan were spotted getting hot and heavy in Hawaii days ago. It’s great we’re getting to see how their relationship started and all, but it kind of sucks there’s going to a lot of focus on her ill-fated relationship with James in the mix, too.

Hopefully the James stuff is over with in the next few weeks, so we can move on and get to know what’s the script with Mariah and Bryan.

They seem like a much more interesting pairing. Right?

Mariah’s tour then kicked off in not so stellar fashion. Her nanny packed her passport in a suitcase, causing a three-hour delay for the opening of her tour in Glasgow, Scotland.

“I’m very, very, very stressed about this whole thing.… We don’t have costumes, we don’t have a rehearsal.”

The new assistant then struggled to get Mariah’s Apple TV working, forcing Mariah into floods of tears.

Yeah, we’re sitting here wondering what the heck we just watched, too.

“Mariah’s World” was an apt title for the series. People have been wondering what her life is like, so she’s giving them a first hand account of it.

It’s as ludicrous as you would expect!

What did you think of it all?

The Mummy Trailer: Mission Impossible Goes Supernatural!

Mission: Impossible is about to head to Egypt.

Sort of.

Universal has released the first official trailer for The Mummy, a follow-up to the four-film franchise that starred Brendan Fraser between 1999 and 2008.

And while many are wondering what the heck Cruise is doing resurrecting this mostly-ridiculed set of movies, one look at the following trailer reveals the answer:

The Mummy is basically Mission: Impossible, just set in the world of the supernatural.

This preview opens with the sort of action sequence Cruise fans have come to expect and love from his blockbusters, while all associated with the movie have gone to great lengths to emphasize that it really is NOT related to those Brendan Fraser films at all.

In this case, an ancient princess (played by Sofia Boutella) is awakened from her crypt beneath the desert, brings with her extreme malevolence and serious terrors that endanger all modern-day people.

GULP.

Russell Crowe somehow also stars in the movie, along with Courtney B. Vance, Annabelle Wallis, and Jake Johnson. That"s a pretty solid cast.

And Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek Into Darkness and Transformers) is directing!

Look for Gods and monsters to make appearances on Earth, along with Cruise’s character traveling to different parts of the world; such as London, Egypt and Middle East.

The Mummy comes out on June 9, 2017.
