Jana Duggar: Wedding Dress Shopping!! (For Joe & Kendra)

Jana Duggar is forever a bridesmaid, never a bride … and boy will she have a lot of bridesmaid dresses by the time all is said and done.

The next member of the Duggar family to tie the knot will presumably be Joseph, who is eyeing this fall for his wedding to Kendra Caldwell.

Just minutes after Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s wedding, Joseph popped the question to Kendra to become next in line.

Previously, Joe bumped out Jedidiah Duggar – his own brother – to make a move on Kendra, but that’s neither here nor there right now.

In any case, they’re looking into October for their wedding date, and naturally, they’ve enlisted Jana Duggar to help with the preparations.

You’d think that between doing Michelle’s housework, taking care of her siblings and Jana raising Josh Duggar’s kids, she’d have a full plate.

Might as well pile more on though, right? She lives for this!

Jana and her twin, John David Duggar, accompanied the future newlyweds to Kentucky to score a dress for Kendra’s monumetal occasion.

Jana, John David (their personal pilot) and their mother Michelle Duggar all joined in to help a girl out, and pose with some fans of course.

The eldest daughter of Michelle and Jim Bob, 27-year-old Jana has never been engaged, despite being engaged in all the family activities.

Recent rumors of Jana Duggar courting a family friend got the fan base all kinds of fired up, but both families actually shot that one down.

You know Jana’s love life is a topic of great interest when people actually go on record talking about it. That’s not likely to change, either.

Just because she’s single doesn’t mean it’s for lack of interest, and the fact that Jana has rejected multiple men simply adds to the mystery.

For now, though, she’s back in a familiar spot.

You can expect Kendra’s wedding dress shopping will be front and center when you watch Counting On online this fall on TLC.

Jana, a fan favorite, obviously doesn’t have a wedding of her own to plan, or a relationship to devote time to, so she’ll be there.

Fans were happy to see her on social media.

“Jana is beautiful,” one fan said beneath the photo above. “She always looks great. John David looks more out [sic] together than usual.”

Another wrote, “Jana knows how to dress.”

Yes. Yes she does. And to bite her tongue. One can only imagine what she must be feeling given her role in this famous family and in life.

As always, she will assume her usual place on the back burner for the most part as Joseph and Kendra prepare to tie the knot.

“We are super excited,” the couple said to People earlier this summer. “It’s great to not be courting anymore, now we’re engaged!”

Joseph described his proposal thusly:

“I was definitely nervous going into it, but I wasn’t afraid that she was going to say no, because she has said, ‘I’m just waiting on you!’”

Many members of Duggar Nation also thought they might receive news of a Joy-Anna or Jinger pregnancy on the September 11 premiere.

So much for that. Joy-Anna is pregnant with her first child, she announced yesterday, just three months after marrying Austin Forsyth.

With Jessa and Jill both welcoming their second kids within the past year, there will be no shortage of storylines for producers this fall.

Poor Jana.

Joy-Anna Duggar Got Pregnant Before Marriage, Doctor Claims

If you’re a fan of the Duggar clan, then you’ve likely heard by now that Joy-Anna Duggar is expecting her first child.

We don’t know Joy-Anna’s due date, but there’s been plenty of speculation based on the below photo of her rather sizable baby bump.

Joy-Anna married Austin Forsyth back in May, and many fans have conjectured that she got pregnant during her honeymoon in Switzerland.

But not surprisingly, there are those who believe Joy-Anna is keeping mum about her due date because she’s farther along than she’d have us believe.

The Duggars, of course, take a hard line stance against premarital sex, forbidding unmarried couples from engaging in any physical contact beyond hand-holding.

Reports about Joy-Anna and Austin breaking the rules of courtship cropped up several times during the early days of their relationship, and now Joy-Anna’s bump is being cited as proof that the Duggars aren’t practicing what they preach.

Of course, every pregnancy is different, and in any case, it’s difficult to tell how far along an expectant mother is on the basis of a single photo.

So the folks at Radar Online took the investigation into Joy-Anna’s pregnancy a step further by consulting with National Enquirer Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Stuart Fischer.

After examining the photo for himself, Dr. Fischer decisively concluded that Joy-Anna is “four or five months pregnant.” 

It’s important to point out that Dr. Fischer has never treated Joy-Anna, and his observation is based only on the image she posted to Instagram.

Since Joy-Anna and Austin tied the knot on May 26, if she’s as far along as Dr. Fischer claims, the Duggars would certainly have some explaining to do.

In all likelihood, most of the family’s fans don’t care if young people engage in premarital sex, and they’ve already demonstrated a willingness to forgive the family for some pretty egregious misconduct.

(It’s hard to imagine any other famous family surviving something like the Josh Duggar sex scandal.)

But another instance of the Duggars misleading their fans in order to maintain their wholesome image could still prove damaging.

By now, we’re well aware that version of the Duggars that appears on television is only loosely based on the reality of their day-to-day lives.

Still, like professional wrestling fans, reality television viewers want the illusion to be maintained as convincingly as possible.

If the Duggar slip-ups keep piling up, at some point ratings will decline right alongside the family’s credibility.

Aaron Rodgers FINALLY Talks About His Olivia Munn Breakup!

Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn broke up earlier this year, and just when rumors were circulating that the two might become engaged after dating for three years.

The two have been reluctant, at best, to talk about the reason behind the split.

But Aaron Rodgers gave an interview and he talked about relationship struggles. And yes, he even talked about why he and Olivia Munn split.

Aaron Rodgers is a sportsball player — a football quarterback, specifically.

He became part of the Green Bay Packers about a decade ago and led his team to victory at the 2011 Superbowl.

Normally, we’d refer to the Superbowl as “that big football game before and after [whichever celebrity]’s concert,” but the Black Eyed Peas played at Halftime that year.

So it wasn’t a Left Shark situation where the Superbowl was super memorable. No wardrobe malfunctions and no Beyonce.

Anyway, Olivia Munn actually drew criticism during her relationship with Aaron for “distracting” him and this impeding his performance on the field.

That’s absurd, obviously.

Those rumors died down when Aaron Rodgers’ performance improved on the field and people could no longer blame Olivia Munn for, like, leeching his strength through sorcery or whatever it is that they thought was happening.

Olivia Munn is an actress, perhaps best known for portraying fan-favorite mutant Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse last summer (the film was entertaining and beautiful but not … not good, but we’d say that Olivia Munn did a more than decent job in the role).

She was also a correspondent on The Daily Show for a while, back during the Jon Stewart days.

The two broke up in April and basically said nothing except that the split was amicable.

With no solid answers or official statements to explain what happened to the couple that had seemed on the cusp of marrying, what were people to do but speculate?

Some wondered if Aaron Rodgers may have cheated on Olivia Munn.

Honestly, a lot of relationships end because of cheating.

Aaron Rodgers’ estrangement from his family became well-publicized after his brother, Jordan Rodgers, appeared on and then won JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette.

Though fans of that couple worried that they’d split after JoJo and Jordan briefly unfollowed each other on social media, they are still together.

Just this week, JoJo surprised Jordan for his birthday.

Some of Aaron Rodgers’ family believed that Aaron was distant from them because of Olivia Munn — because, again, people want to see her as some sort of sorceress responsible for everything about Aaron that they don’t like.

The truth is more complicated and involves “family issues,” according to Aaron, who has always seemed reluctant to go into detail. That could mean all sorts of things, but … a lot of families are screwed up.

So one point of speculation about his split was that perhaps Aaron Rodgers dropped Olivia Munn to reunite with his family. That doesn’t appear to have been the case.

Now, at least, Aaron is willing to talk about it.

In an interview with ESPN The Magazine, Aaron Rodgers discussed the problems with dating while famous.

And yes, Olivia Munn came up.

First, though, they eased him onto the topic by asking about the challenges that come with dating while famous.

“Decreased privacy. And increased strain or pressure or stress associated with relationships. Friendships and dating relationships.”

That sounds about right.

It’s good that he mentions that it’s a burden on friendships as well as romantic relationships.

“When you are living out a relationship in the public eye, it’s definitely … it’s difficult.”

Yep.

Then they asked Aaron, point-blank, if all of that was in play with his breakup with Olivia Munn.

And he answered.

“It has some extra constraints, because you have other opinions about your relationship, how it affects your work and, you know, just some inappropriate connections.”

It sounds like part of that, at least, is a jab at his fans — who seemed to blame Olivia for all that ails the world.

Part of that might also be a jab at his family, because whatever the extent of Aaron’s issues with the Rodgers family, Olivia Munn was a sore point for some of them involved.

We’ll probably never know the whole story. Aaron kept that vague and very general on purpose.

Maybe one day, when they’re both feeling less raw about it, they’ll tell their story.

For now, it sounds like a factor behind their split was just the constant chatter about them.
