Good Samaritan Single Mom Falls To Her Death After Stopping To Help Car Crash Victim

This is just unbelievably sad.

A good Samaritan met a tragic fate early Saturday morning as she died trying to help a car crash victim.

Jessica Nicole Smith was driving along Interstate 385 in South Carolina over the weekend when she noticed a truck involved in a single-car wreck on a bridge.

Being a registered nursing assistant, the 29-year-old immediately jumped into action to attempt to save the man who was ejected from his vehicle.

Unfortunately, Jessica somehow lost her footing on the bridge while trying to help and fell 22 feet to the ground, suffering a fatal head injury when she landed.

The driver is still in critical condition at the hospital, but what makes this story even more upsetting is that Jessica was a single mother and leaves behind a 9-year-old son Isaiah.

Out thoughts are with Jessica’s friends and family at this terrible time. We hope she is remembered for her kindness, and we wish the absolute best for Isaiah.
