Earlier this week, Dr. Luke, the music producer who has been accused of sexually and physically abusing Kesha, took to Twitter to defend himself, claiming he never raped or had sex with the singer.
“It’s sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue,” he tweeted.
So his next move on Twitter has got to make one wonder…
Why would he delete a photo he posted of Kesha sleeping in 2009??
It’s true, in October of that year, at 3:21 a.m., Luke shared a photo of the “Tik Tok” songstress in her slumber, tweeting “Damn my artists work hard!!!!!!!!”
But it’s gone now. We can’t imagine why.
Kesha’s fans have also taken Dr. Luke to task for another peculiar tweet from 2010, which still remains in his Twitter history:
“@keshasuxx … I’m worried about what THEY gonna do!!!!… from me you just your usual spanking for being bad!!!! :-P”
Now, neither of these tweets are a silver bullet that proves he abused Kesha, but they certainly don’t look good. And removing one he may have thought would incriminate him… well, that could be seen as a bit incriminating itself.
Last Friday, Kesha suffered a harsh blow in her legal battle against Dr. Luke when a judge denied her request to be released from her recording contract with him.
She broke down sobbing in court and many stars, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson, tweeted their support while Taylor Swift donated $ 250,000 toward Kesha’s legal fees.
