At some point in the past couple years, the balance of power within the Kardashian-Jenner clan shifted.
Sure, Kim still reigns supreme in terms of Instagram followers (the best measure of a celeb’s popularity in 2016), but Kylie is nipping at her heels, and her runway-walking sister Kendall is not far behind.
So it’s no surprise that the KJ’s are beginning to form their own careers and public identities, separate from those of their famous siblings.
These days, Kendall is one of the most in-demand models in the fashion world, and Kylie’s lip kit is one of the most successful Kard clan business ventures since Kim’s sex tape (though, granted, it’ll never sell nearly that well).
Naturally, the E! network, Ryan Seacrest, and other authors of the Kardashian’s mega-popularity want a piece of Kendall and Kylie’s success, and it was only a matter of time before someone approached the sisters about starring in their own reality series.
There’s just one problem: according to a new report from Radar Online, Kylie does not want to share the spotlight with Kendall.
“Kylie wants her own spin-off show” one insider tells the website. “[She] no longer wants to do one with Kendall.”
This isn’t the first time that there have been reports a sibling rivalry between Kylie and Kendall, but as their Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff has reportedly been in pre-production for over a year, Kylie attempting to kick Kendall off the project may be the harshest blow yet.
“She just wants to have a show on E! that is all about her, that will focus mainly on her journey of building her own empire,” says the source.
If E! execs are anything like us, the fact that Kylie and Kendall aren’t getting along will make them want a reality show starring both of them even more!
