It’s been almost two years since we first learned that Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are dating, and during that time, the rappers have seen more than their share of ups and downs.
They’ve endured blistering Drake diss tracks and rumors that their relationship is some sort of publicity stunt, but it seems that it all the scrutiny and turmoil has only made their relationship stronger.
Until now, that is…
Just months after rumors that Nicki and Meek are engaged began to circulate on social media, their relationship has begun to unravel in public fashion.
At least, that’s what seems to be taking place based on their latest Instagram posts:
“Never help an ungrateful person get on their feet,” Nicki wrote yesterday.
“It’s like telling a wolf that you’re a sheep.”
Obviously, that could be directed at anybody.
It’s what Meek posted minutes later that’s got some folks thinking there may be trouble in MIllaj World:
“Some of y’all need to learn to enjoy your man’s company instead of picking fights with him 24/7,” he wrote.
“Don’t act like you played a part in nothing I got going on when I’m doing my thing.”
Hmmm … we don’t want to jump to too many conclusions, but when both halves of a couple are simultaneously pissed off, it’s not too much of a leap to think they might be pissed off at each other.
All of this comes just weeks after Meek allegedly referred to Nicki as a “temporary girlfriend” during an interview.
It’s anyone’s guess as to what Nicki and Meek might be fighting about, but the leading theory is that it has something to do with Drake.
As you probably know, Drake and Meek have been feuding for months.
Nicki seems to have her man’s back, but she’s also made it clear that she has no hard feelings toward her friend and former collaborator Drizzy.
Needless to say, that probably makes for some awkward conversations before bed.
So did Drake finally come between these two?
We probably won’t have to wait long to find out, as dude is certain to boast about it in a verse if the rumors are true.
