What divorce and depression rumors?!?
As previously reported, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West jetted off to the Bahamas over the weekend, taking a much-needed vacation in the wake of ongoing rumors surrounding the couple.
Is the couple really headed for a split?
Is Kanye really still down in the major dumps after last November’s mental breakdown?
It doesn’t appear that way, not after Kim shared a number of photos from the trip and sources say Kardashian and West enjoyed such an amazing adventure that they didn’t even want to come home.
“It was incredibly therapeutic for them and much needed,” an insider told Hollywood Life, adding:
“Kanye is still battling anxiety and stress so Kim knows he needs trips like this for him to disconnect.”
Based on the pictures Kardashian just posted to Instagram, it looks as if she needed the vacation as well.
“I know Cindy drinks this so I’m in!!! #Casamigos,” wrote the reality star to the image above, which features her taking a rare shot of tequilla.
Kim has often said she isn’t a big drinker.
But one wouldn’t know that if one were to peruse these pictures.
“Cheers,” she wrote as a caption to the sexy snapshot above.
Kardashian and West rented out a private island to celebrate the rapper’s 40th birthday last week.
Kanye hasn’t said anything in public about the outing, but Kim is clearly making a statement about the state of her marriage with these photos.
The same anonymous source cited above, meanwhile, says the star is hoping to make this sort of a trip a part of the couple’s routine going forward.
“She’s making sure they go on at least two ‘breaks’ a year just the four of them,” this person claims of Kim, Kanye and their two kids, North and Saint.
(Editor’s Note: Can you believe they actually named their kids North and Saint?!?)
“Contemplating,” wrote Kardashian as a caption to this totally not staged photograph.
It’s been a rough few months for Kim. We totally understand why she needs these breaks.
First, of course, she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
Then, her husband broke down mentally and was hospitalized for nine days.
Then, she sat back and watched as Keeping Up with the Kardashians faltered in the ratings, sparking talk of cancelation and leading to E! handing sister Kylie Jenner her own reality show.
Is it possible that the days of Kim being the biggest star in her own family are over?
And would she even care at this point if that were true?
Or might Kardashian be satisfied to take a step away from the spotlight, considering all she’s been through?
“Almost your birthday,” added Kim of this kind of romantic picture.
Tough questions, all. We can’t answer them with any certainty at the moment.
But we can say that Kim looks darn good in a bikini and that we’re glad she had fun with her husband. They’ve definitely been in need of this kind of care-free vacation.
As for what’s next for the famous couple?
Kanye may soon release a new album. Kim may soon push for a third child again, by surrogate or by adoption.
And if things get really stale between them… and if Kardashian really feels a need to recapture the headlines… they may make a sex tape and put it up for sale.
You just never know.
