Kendall and Kylie Jenner: SLAMMED by Notorious B.I.G."s Mom!

Sometimes, every once in a great long while, a story comes along that is just so wonderfully weird, so bizarre and beautiful that it scarcely makes sense.

And today seems to be one of those days.

OK, so Kendall and Kylie Jenner, right?

They’ve been selling their own clothing lines for years now, to various amounts of success. They’ve had collections with other designers, and items for sale on their own site.

But yesterday, they released some new shirts that have a whole lot of people talking.

The shirts feature photos or famous album covers from a wide variety of recording artists, including Pink Floyd, Metallica, Tupac, and the Notorious B.I.G.

But laid over those images are photos of Kendall and Kylie.

Here’s an example:

It’s really, really stupid, right? It’s not cute, it’s not fashionable, and it’s $ 125.

They’re also ruining perfectly good band t-shirts with their dumb faces.

It’s just a really strange item to sell, especially since they apparently want to push a whole line of these with several different bands and singers.

The thing is, though, that no one wants to buy the shirts.

Least of all Voletta Wallace, mother of the late, great Biggie Smalls.

When Voletta heard of the shirts, she took to Instagram to make a post about the issue, and she seemed pretty upset.

“I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this,” she wrote.

“The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me.”

“I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt,” she continued.

“This is disrespectful, disgusting and exploitation at its worst!”

The photo she shared along with her post featured the Biggie shirt with an ‘x’ marked through it beside the message that “THIS PRODUCT HAS NO AFFILIATION TO THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. ESTATE.”

Voletta sounds serious about how offended she is by the shirt, and she has every right to be.

And for what it’s worth, Twitter is also very upset by the whole thing.

“Kendall Jenner selling a shirt with her face overlayed on top of Tupac is literally racism and I won’t stand for it,” one person wrote.

Another asked “Why tf has Kendall Jenner stuck her face on top of Biggie & Tupac on a shirt? Classless, disrespectful. All the hallmarks of the Kardashians.”

“Has anyone ever said damn I wish I could wear a Kylie Jenner shirt and Tupac shirt at the same time like who is this being marketed to?” one critical thinker questioned.

As of now, all of these shirts are no longer available for purchase on Kendall and Kylie’s site.

It’s unclear if they pulled them after the backlash began or if they somehow sold out in one day.

For the sake of maintaining what little hope we have left in humanity, let’s go ahead and hope for that first thing.
