Tyra Banks has had a healthy career in the spotlight, but she’s not one to talk much about her family.
She’s one of the celebrities who likes to keep her personal life separate from her professional life.
Even though she blessed Instagram with a picture of her son, York’s head in February 2016, she apparently wanted to keep her little bundle of joy under wraps for a bit longer.
No one can blame her. Not everyone wants their family paraded in front of the cameras.
That all changed on Father’s day when the America’s Got Talent host took to Instagram to show a picture of her son of to the world.
“To all the amazing daddies out there that love their kids unconditionally like my mommy’s daddy and my daddy, too … HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! -York💛,” the supermodel shared.
Erik also shared the picture Tyra posted. The photographer has four other kids from a previous relationship.
Tyra confirmed the baby news in late 2016 in a sweet Instagram post.
“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin,” she shared.
“As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
Tyra met Erik while working on America’s Next Top Model three years ago and the couple has been going strong since.
Tyra is slated to return to America’s Next Top Model later this year after taking one season off when it moved from The CW to MTV.
