Azealia Banks to Elon Musk: Sorry! You"re Not Really a Balding Drug Addict!
One of the most amusing gossip items of August had to do with the highly unexpected feud between Azealia Banks and Elon Musk.
In case you’re unfamiliar with those names, they perfectly represent the two main archetypes of American egomania:
Banks is the gifted artist whose rage over the fact that she still has to ride the subway like a plebe has driven her to repeatedly sabotage her own career.
Conversely, Musk is quite successful financially but is consistently driven mad over the world’s unwillingness to recognize him as the heir to Einstein, Edison, Henry Ford, and Jesus H. Christ.
In other words, they may not seem to have much in common — Banks is a self-made creative, whereas Mush is a left-brain cyborg who could’ve spent his entire life blowing his family’s emerald mine fortune.
But at the end of the day, Banks and Musk are just two sides of the same narcissistic coin.
Perhaps that’s why they clashed upon first meeting, then later realized they were destined to join forces.
Allow us to explain:
Earlier this month, NYC-based Banks spent some time in LA with the intention of collaborating on a song with Musk’s girlfriend, Grimes.
So she paid a visit to Musk’s sprawling mansion and found it to have less of a “Tony Stark” vibe and more of an “Allison Williams’ parent’s house in Get Out” feel.
In addition to comparing her experience to Jordan Peele’s horror classic, Banks says she witnessed a wealth of appallingly self-destructive behavior from both Musk and Grimes.
Banks referred to Musk as a “giant d–k” and a “beta male who took steroids and hair plugs to convince himself he’s alpha.”
She also accused Musk of conducting business while tripping on LSD, and Grimes of being a meth addict.
She later alleged that Musk had stolen her phone so that he could “delete evidence” of their encounter.
Needless to say, after all that it was quite a surprise to see that Banks had issued a public apology to Musk:
“I feel terrible about everything,” reads the now-deleted open letter that was posted to Banks’ Instagram page.
“Over the time spent liaising said collaborations [with Grimes], I was welcomed to a lot of personal information about you,” Banks wrote.
“The stuff made me feel awkward and uncomfortable about being privy to you, yet I never had the intentions of ever using the information against you.
She added:
“What started off as a cat-fight lead to some seriously unexpected consequences and I seriously apologize.”
Interestingly, Banks’ refused to use Grimes name throughout the letter, referring to her would-be collaborator only with a pair of empty quotation marks.
After posting the letter, Banks deleted her Instagram account, but now appears to have re-instated her account.
We’ll continue to monitor this weird-ass situation and let you know if it gets any weirder.

Azealia Banks: Elon Musk Is a Druggie and Grimes Is White Trash!
Folks, as you probably know, it’s been quite a big news week.
No, we’re not talking about the fact that Trump supporters are getting locked up at such an alarming rate that you’d think they were black teens with half a gram of marijuana in their glove compartment.
We’re talking about the excitement of yet another Azealia Banks beef!
As you may recall, Ms. Banks is a gifted rapper and singer who keeps torpedoing her own career, largely by engaging in ugly high-profile feuds with better-known celebs.
Though she’s emerged victorious on multiple occasions (see: Azealia Banks vs. Iggy Azalea), generally the one to suffer most in the aftermath is Banks herself.
Whether that’s the result of her being treated unfairly in the press or simply a consequence of continually throwing shots at powerful and influential people is still a matter for debate.
What’s not up for argument, however, is the fact that picking a fight with a budding supervillain who seems hell-bent on being the first man to conquer space probably isn’t the best decision Azealia ever made.
As you may know, Elon Musk is currently dating Grimes, a Canadian singer who apparently knows Banks in a professional capacity.
Grimes recently invited Banks to Musk’s mansion to discuss a collaboration, and based on Azealia’s social media updates on the situation, we think it’s safe to say the visit didn’t go according to plan.
Banks compared the situation to the movie Get Out and claimed that Musk used LSD and steroids in her presence.
She even claimed that the Tesla CEO tweeted important news about his company while in the throes of an acid trip.
She went on to describe Musk as “a giant d—k” and accused him of using “a fake made up accent.”
Banks wasn’t much kinder to Grimes, whom she described as “white trash” and “a pathological liar.”
So that was last week.
This week, the feud was re-ignited by Banks’ claims that Musk stole her phone in order to “delete evidence” of their bizarre encounter.
Attorneys for Musk responded with a statement reading in part:
“Elon doesn’t know Azealia Banks. He doesn’t have her phone and neither do his lawyers.”
“Azealia Banks might be a lot of things, but one thing I am not is a liar. I’m not gonna be made to look like I’m some f—king crazed fan,” Banks fired back.
Azealia doubled down on her comments yesterday, writing in an Instagram story that she “didn’t come to L.A. to [have] some f—king alien orgy and some other crazy s—t.”
Musk has yet to respond, but we expect he’ll announce plans to launch Azealia Banks into orbit sometime this afternoon.

Cardi B Feuds with Azealia Banks, Deletes Her Own Instagram
Azealia Banks, a controversial provocateur who also does music, often gains attention by bashing people who are more culturally relevant.
Over the weekend, her unsurprising feud with Cardi B reached new heights as she took aim at the pregnant “Bodak Yellow” singer and summarily dismissed her as a talent and as a human being.
Cardi B responded … and then stunned fans by deleting her Instagram.
During part of a lengthy interview with The Breakfast Club, Azealia Banks mentions that she thinks that Cardi is making society worse.
“Two years ago, the conversation surrounding black women’s culture was really reaching an all-time high.”
Discourse about race and gender has been improving over the years, though there has been some backlash by people who feel threatened when marginalized voices are heard.
The hosts refer to Beyonce’s Lemonade, which came out in 2016 and was a huge part of the conversation.
“There was just this really, really, really intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed and then it was like Cardi B.”
She’s saying that Cardi is destroying America’s black women or at least the conversation that surrounds them, anyway.
“I’m just talking about this caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away with.”
Race is a social construct and therefore complicated, but Cardi’s parents are Dominican and Trinidadian, which many people consider to be black.
“Like, if my spelling and grammar was that bad, I’d be canceled. If Nicki Minaj spelled like that, we would be ragging on her all day.”
That’s an interesting thing to say, since Azealia Banks loves to rag on Nicki Minaj.
Though Azealia covered a number of other topics during her interview, her attack on Cardi gathered the most attention.
And Cardi herself responded.
“Beyonce? Wasn’t Beyonce the same woman she was talking s–t about and dragging all over the media?”
Yep.
“I’m from the hood. I speak how I speak I am how I am. I did not choose to be famous people choose me!”
Cardi did not have an easy youth.
“People followed me on Instagram and the people gave me a platform to introduce my talent.”
In other words, she’s saying that it was fans and admirers who thrust her into the spotlight.
“I never asked to be a example or a role model I don’t want to change my ways because I’m famous that’s why I just mind my business.”
She then points out the hypocrisy of Azealia trying to call her out.
“This is coming from a woman that bleached her skin but want to advocate. GOODBYE. I’m not apologizing or kill myself because of who I am.”
Cardi had more to say, however.
“A woman who constantly finds joy in belittling black women (Beyonce, Rihanna, Skai Jackson, Remy Ma), can’t try and stand for them because it’s convenient!”
Azealia can’t seem to resist hurling insults at anyone and everyone — including Cardi. Even though Azealia was caught on film dancing to “Bodak Yellow.”
“The difference between me and you, I’ve never pretended to be or represent someone I’m not!”
Cardi says that her authenticity should speak for itself.
“I’ve made it where I am for being myself and staying true to that. I’m not trying to represent nobody but myself”
She then points out how absurd it is for Azealia to advocate for anyone.
“You busy trying to be a voice of reason and a representative for women of color when you can’t even reason with yourself.”
Yep.
“You can’t understand where your insecurities come from and why your not happy in your OWN skin so you think because YOU can’t figure your s–t out that you can create confusion for me, make me unsure about who I am!”
Cardi does address the “controversy” surrounding her race.
“I know who I am! A daughter to a Hispanic father and a Caribbean mother and I’m proud of that! I’ve never dismissed my heritage or my culture.”
Most Caribbean communities include black and latine ethnicities.
“I’ve never pretended to sound like anyone or look like anyone for attention or to make me feel better about who I’m not! I’ve been this way, always!”
She then lays into Azealia for trying to go after her vocabulary.
“You think because someone uses a lot of big words and long sentences that makes them smart!?”
There are people in this world who believe that replacing random words by using a thesaurus will improve their writing. These people are mistaken.
“How smart are you if you don’t know that the meaning of illiterate means to not know how to read or write. I can do both, and speak 2 languages fluently.”
That’s a very effective way of shutting down Azealia’s attack.
“Just because I mix a few words up forget to use commas or misspell a few words doesn’t make me illiterate and doesn’t make me stupid.”
Truth.
“And because I laugh a littler harder or talk a little louder doesn’t make me a caricature!”
Cardi is absolutely right.
“You think your advocating for women and your doing the opposite!”
Azealia Banks has been noted for supporting Donald Trump. So yes, Cardi is correct.
“I pray you find peace in your own heart and reason in your own mind! Pray for your own success before you pray for the downfall of others!”
Azealia could not resist responding. And, to make herself sound as condescending as possible, she used Cardi’s birth name.
“Belcalis …… sis, give it up. You have a fever and are leaking breast milk everywhere trying to come up with a refutable comeback.”
That is … not how pregnancy works.
“Sis spent 12 hours proofreading a message while still COMPLETELY missing the point. You and whoever wrote this reply for you don’t have the intelligence to engage in this not-so-complex discussion.”
Azealia continues to be pointlessly rude.
“I spoke about it for all of two minutes in an interview and you respond by calling me unattractive .. mentioning my bleaching my skin and telling me to ‘suck your ass’. Immediately proving yourself to be exactly who I thought you were.. A bird.”
Is that a thread? We all know what Azealia Banks does to chickens.
“I suggest you leave these types of cultural conversations alone for now. You don’t have the range.”
Rude.
Many fans were heartbroken to see Cardi delete her Instagram, even if it was probably just a temporary measure.
They like staying connected to their fave on social media, after all. And they hate losing her because of an antagonistic maniac.
Others, however, think that Cardi did the right thing for herself.
Cardi is pregnant and she doesn’t need the stress. She said what she needed to say and she’s living her life.
At the end of the day, Cardi’s career is stable and on the rise. She doesn’t need bizarre feuds to stay relevant.

Cardi B Beefs With Azealia Banks, Internet Braces For Savage Clap Back
If you’re like us, you’re old, and uncool, and you get your news from a tattered parchment delivered to your door by a young lad in a jaunty cap whom you reward with a single shilling and some wise words about prudent spending each fortnight.
Because of our woeful lack of hipness, we only recently became familiar with Cardi B, the rapper whose debut single “Bodak Yellow” just dethroned Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” as the number one song in the country.
Cardi is an artist on the rise, and she’s been praised by some of the biggest names in hip-hop.
Of course, in 2017, you haven’t really made it as a rapper until you’ve feuded with Azealia Banks.
Banks has beefed with Nicki Minaj, Jay Z, Eminem, Iggy Azalea, that Soundcloud rapper who’s always posting links to his new sh-t along with a bunch of fire emojis on your Facebook page …
Basically, if you’ve ever rhymed two words, Banks doesn’t like you, and she wants the world to know.
Predictably, Azealia has now set her sights on Cardi B, going off on the Bronx native in a since-deleted Twitter rant in which she attributed Cardi’s success to music industry racism.
“Black industry men are too hype for this Latina girl I’ve never seen them jump like this for remy [Ma] or nicki,” Banks wrote.
“Charlemagne [Tha God] and black men in hip-hop should have gotten me, remy AND nicki a number one before they gave cardi or iggy [Azalea] one.”
This is Azealia Banks we’re talking about, so it only got worse from there.
Cardi is of Trinidadian and Dominican descent, and for reasons that remain unclear, Banks feels she should have tailored her public image accordingly:
“She’s only black when black want to include themselves in a success story,” Azealia wrote.
“I thought she was gonna be a Latina hottie and not a poor mans Nicki Minaj,” she added. “It went the other way and now I’m over it.”
On Instagram, Banks was even more savage, calling Cardi “a f-ck toy” who is “super inarticulate,” and accusing her “suck[ing] d-ck for raps.”
Fortunately, Cardi knew just how to respond:
That’s a clip of Banks singing along to “Bodak Yellow” in the club.
Cardi posted the image to Instagram with a caption reading:
“One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1! Cuz even the HATERS love it!”
Banks has yet to respond to that burn, but something tells us her response will be nuclear.
The weird thing is, before Cardi became only the second solo rapper to ever reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100, Banks had nothing but praise for the 24-year-old:
“I always thought she was funny, and when she started rapping, I was like… what is she doing? Then I heard ‘Foreva’ and I was like, Okay, this is really f-cking good, she’s not playing,” Banks told XXL.
“Then I heard a couple other songs and I was like, Oh shit, Cardi’s not playing! And now I’m a fan of Cardi B’s music and her personality.”
So what happened?
It couldn’t be that Azealia’s bitter about Cardi’s success because shot her own career in the foot years ago, could it?

Tyra Banks Shares Photo of Son: See It Here!
Tyra Banks has had a healthy career in the spotlight, but she’s not one to talk much about her family.
She’s one of the celebrities who likes to keep her personal life separate from her professional life.
Even though she blessed Instagram with a picture of her son, York’s head in February 2016, she apparently wanted to keep her little bundle of joy under wraps for a bit longer.
No one can blame her. Not everyone wants their family paraded in front of the cameras.
That all changed on Father’s day when the America’s Got Talent host took to Instagram to show a picture of her son of to the world.
“To all the amazing daddies out there that love their kids unconditionally like my mommy’s daddy and my daddy, too … HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! -York💛,” the supermodel shared.
Erik also shared the picture Tyra posted. The photographer has four other kids from a previous relationship.
Tyra confirmed the baby news in late 2016 in a sweet Instagram post.
“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin,” she shared.
“As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
Tyra met Erik while working on America’s Next Top Model three years ago and the couple has been going strong since.
Tyra is slated to return to America’s Next Top Model later this year after taking one season off when it moved from The CW to MTV.

Tyra Banks to Host America"s Got Talent
America has talent. This much we’ve known for years.
But America now has also a brand new reality host, someone who is ready to introduce said talent to the NBC viewing public.
One month after Nick Cannon shocked the world by resigning as host of America’s Got Talent, producers have found his successor as host.
In a very irritating Tweet that referred to herself in the third person, Tyra Banks Tweeted the following last night:
“Surprise! TyTy is the new host of #AGT,” Banks tweeted.
The former America’s Next Top Model host went on to say she “Can’t wait 2work w/new fam,” tagging judges judges Mel B, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell.
Not long after Banks’ confirmation, Mandel welcomed his new colleague with a GIF “introducing our new host.”
In recent years, the ex-supermodel has shifted her focus from on-camera television roles to the expansion of her personal brand across the professional sector.
For example, Banks debuted her Tyra Beauty cosmetics line in 2014 after completing Harvard’s Owner/Presidential Management certificate program two years before.
She’s also remained an executive producer on America’s Next Top Model… stopped by ABC sitcom Blackish… and served as an advisor on numerous episodes of the Arnold Schwarzenegger-hosted Celebrity Apprentice.
She will be taking over on America’s Got Talent for Cannon, who engaged in a public spat with NBC executives in February.
The actor and comedian said he got in trouble for joking during a stand-up routine that emceeing America’s Got Talent was calling his “black card” into question.
Cannon went on to rant about how producers considered firing him for this remark, a near-decision that caused such outrage, Cannon went ahead and resigned in response.
“I find myself in a dark place having to make a decision that I wish I didn’t have to, but as a man, an artist and a voice for my community, I will not be silenced, controlled, or treated like a piece of property,” Cannon wrote on Instagram.
He continued:
“Not to get too detailed but this isn’t the first time executives have attempted to ‘put me in my place’ for so called unruly actions. I will not stand for it.
“My moral principles will easily walk away from the millions of dollars they hang over my head.”
While Cannon was considered popular as host, initial Twitter reaction to this Banks news has been positive.
“@tyrabanks is going to do a great job hosting @nbcagt!” wrote one Twitter user, while Another fan added:
“She is perfect!!! She’s going to KILL it!!”
Other Twitter responses include:
