Troian Bellisario and Patrick J. Adams: Expecting First Child!

A pretty celebrity has some non-little news to share with the world…

… and this is no lie:

Troian Bellisario is pregnant!

The Pretty Little Liars alum and her famously handsome husband, Suits actor Patrick J. Adams, are expecting their very first child together, E! News has confirmed.

Word of this nature started to spread in late May after the 32-year-old was seen on the beach in Mykonos, seemingly with a just-developing baby bump protruding out of her swimsuit.

Since then, Bellisario has kept a fairly low profile… and neither she nor Adams has actually confirmed that their family of two will soon become a family of three.

But multiple reliable outlets are now reporting this as fact.

Bellisario and Adams, meanwhile, were most recently seen out on public in London on May 19, showing support for a certain former Suits actress who was marrying a certain gorgeous prince.

Indeed, the two were prominent guests at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Royal Wedding!

Adams and Bellisario met in 2009 while starring in a play; they got engaged in 2014. 

From there, the actor and the actress tied the knot in a beautiful wedding in Southern California in December 2016.

They took their honeymoon in Australia.

“What’s not to like about working with Patrick? He is talented, intelligent, funny, handsome, so that makes my job across from him easy to do, and he is my best friend so every day was a blast,” Bellisario told The New Potato in 2017.

For his part, Adams left the USA Network hit Suits after Season 7, the finale of which featured his character marrying and going elsewhere with Markle’s character.

He made headlines shortly afterward by addressing Prince Harry in a funny and sweet Tweet that read as follows:

Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this:

Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.

At the time of his departure, Adams gushed a bit over Bellisario in explaining this professional decision, telling The Hollywood Reporter:

“After seven seasons – really, eight years of being away from home and away from my now-wife and there was that pressure.

“At the moment, I’m interested in taking a break.

“It’s nice to be home. It’s really nice to be with Troian, our dogs and to take the time to figure out exactly what shape I want to take my career after this.”

Adams now has time to ponder this, it’s true.

He’ll also soon have time to change diapers and help around the house with the baby.

Patrick J. Adams Apologizes for Perceived Bullying Attempt

Patrick J. Adams is typically a social media superstar.

The former Suits star is usually applauded for his sweet and/or funny messages, such as what he wrote to/about Meghan Markle the day before her Royal Wedding to Prince Harry.

This is what he said:

Going to bed now and thinking a lot about the strange surreal and wonderful day my friend Meghan is going to have tomorrow.

Meghan – wherever you are – we are so grateful to be here to watch you both take this monumental step together. Love deeply and live well.

Like we said: totally sweet, right?

(Adams starred for seven seasons on Suits opposite Markle; he played her love interest, Mike Ross, and his character married her character on the latest season finale.)

Now, however, Adams has been forced to issue an apology after an unusual incident that took place while he was in England for his good friend’s nuptials.

It’s a bit confusing, but follow along below…

Over the weekend, following the lovely ceremony and reception, Adams and his his wife, Pretty Little Liars alum Troian Bellisario, headed to the airport to catch a flight out of London.

While there, the actor shared a photo on Instagram of a sleeping woman who he says body shamed him and Bellisario, including with it the following caption:

“She reads her paper. See’s picture of me and Troian from wedding. ‘My God. What a terrible photo of you.’ I look over. ‘Really. I kind of like that photo. What do you think is wrong with it?’

“She pauses. ‘Well, you’re just so….chunky."”

“She laughs and falls asleep. I photograph her sleeping. And….scene. #royalwedding.”

Sort of a weird exchange, but the woman is the one who body-shamed Adams and Bellisario, right?

We suppose Adams could have taken the highest road and simply ignored the insult, or at least not made it public, but we didn’t interpret this caption as an attempt to bully the woman.

Others, however, did.

The USA Network star has therefore deleted the post and issued a lengthy Mea Culpa.

“Yesterday I posted a photo of a woman who did some casual body shaming of my wife and I in the airport,” Adams began his caption, which went along with the following image.

“My intention was solely to put a face to the people who think that sort of glancing commentary is necessary, helpful or funny. Some of the comments on the post instead said I was being a bully and should have taken the ‘high road’ (some also doubled down on the body shaming. Thumbs up guys!)

“I thought it over and agreed and took it down, not because I felt the woman was right or fair or undeserving of being called out but because any sense of being a bully or lashing out felt wrong.”

Adams had A LOT more to say on the topic.

He was understandably upset about the way he was being labeled and felt a need to respond in detail.

So we’ll hand the floor over to the actor…

I’m no bully. What that woman said to us was offensive and unnecessary but I should have told her she was rude and out of line and left it at that. I’m sorry I didn’t.

I was too shocked and annoyed and Canadian – so I avoided the confrontation. Again, I’m sorry. Now if you see the original post on any media outlet just know that they are choosing to take a relatively small indiscretion and make it worse. Not for me.

Because I promise you once I hit post on this message it will be out of my mind forever. But it will make whatever bullying or embarrassment I might have caused for that woman far worse for a far wider audience.

Now -this has obviously taken up far too much of our time and of the precious internet space that we need so much. Sorry about that. But let’s just finish with a quick summary.

1. Don’t talk shit about the way people look. You have no idea what’s going on with them and your commentary will always make their day worse not better.

2. If someone does. Don’t use the internet to settle scores. Tell them right to their face and in public that they’re part of the problem and not the solution.

3. Believe pretty much nothing you read in magazines. Good or bad. The machinery runs on misfortune and oversimplification.

4. Be cool to yourself and others at every opportunity. Life is too short for all of this. Thx for reading. Now back to our lives…

Pretty much the perfect reply, right?

Aside from not understanding this woman’s “chunky” comment (just look at the lovely couple above), we don’t really understand why Adams received grief for his post on the matter.

But he likely made the right choice here to just end the debate and be the bigger man.

Kudos to you, Patrick.

Stephanie Adams: Former Playmate and Young Son Plunge to Their Deaths

According to reports, early Friday morning, a 47-year-old woman and a 7-year-old boy were found dead after an apparent jump from a Manhattan building.

This is a grim story, no matter what transpired before they plummeted to their deaths below.

And now multiple news outlets believe that they have identified the woman as a former Playboy centerfold model.

First, what we know with relative certainty.

According to Lieutenant John Grimpel, a 47-year-old woman appears to have jumped from the 25th floor of the Gotham Hotel in Manhattan.

Police indicate that this occurred at around 8:15 AM on Friday morning.

Reports say that the two bodies were found on the second-floor landing of the Gotham Hotel’s courtyard.

Police were not initially willing to confirm or deny the identities of the deceased, for obvious reasons.

One, identifying them may have been challenging if normal identifiers were not available.

Two, as is always important, police needed to notify the family.

There’s no good way to learn that you have lost a loved one, but learning from the news would have to be one of the worst.

Multiple media outlets, including The New York Post and NBC News 4, are reporting that this woman was Stephanie Adams.

Stephanie Adams was a former Playboy model.

In fact, she was the November centerfold in 1992.

Which would make the 7-year-old boy Vincent, her son.

She shared Vincent with her estranged husband, Charles Nicolai, the owner of of Wall Street Chiropractic & Wellness.

Staff at that practice have declined to comment.

Reports say that Stephanie and Nicolai were engaged in a fierce court battle over custody of their son.

Things were allegedly so contentious between them that handovers of Vincent took place at a NYPD precinct, allegedly to “prevent violence” from occurring.

Stephanie filed for divorce from Nicolai in 2017, and she was currently seeking child support from him.

As is often the case during divorces, she owed money to her attorneys.

Adding to this, The New York Post reports that Stephanie had become distraught because she would not be able to take her son on a trip to Europe over the summer.

She and her estranged husband fought over this and, ultimately, a judge sided with Nicolai — and ordered Stephanie to surrender Vincent’s passport.

Stephanie Adams, who claims to be a descendant of John Quincy Adams and who entered the modeling profession at age 16, had a history of both civil rights advocacy and of troubled lawsuits.

But none of this explains what could have led her and her son to plunge to their tragic and premature deaths on Friday morning.

Our sympathies go out to their loved ones as they struggle with this loss.

We hope that investigators are able to provide answers.

Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams: Dating! See Their Stranger Things Costumes!

Early this year, Sarah Hyland and Dominic Sherwood celebrated their second anniversary as a couple. But, like all relationships, it did not last forever.

As it turns out, the Modern Family actress has found a new man, and he’s also from television. Specifically, from The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise: Wells Adams.

And they are already rocking some pretty epic couples’ costumes, Stranger Things style.

We’re glad that Sarah Hyland had such a lengthy and presumably healthy relationship with Dominic Sherwood of Shadowhunters.

(Relationships don’t always end in a big blow-up — sometimes people just grow apart, folks)

After her absolutely horrific relationship with Matt Pokop ended with a three-year restraining order against him after he’d allegedly been violently abusive, she deserved good things.

And she still does.

Wells Adams is not dating Danielle Maltby, even though sparks flew between the two of them while Wells was tending bar on Bachelor in Paradise.

(Seriously, those two were acting like main characters in a romance film — but he’s clearly moved on)

Not only are Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland dating, but they are rocking some absolutely incredible costumes for Halloween.

If you don’t watch Stranger Things, Wells Adams is dressed as Eleven.

Sarah Hyland is not dressed as a Pokemon master but, rather, as Dustin.

Wells Adams had recently admitted on his podcast with Brandi Cyrus that he had been spending a lot of time with a special someone in L.A.

Clearly, Sarah Hyland fits the bill.

Us Weekly‘s source reveals that Sarah and Wells have been seeing each other for months.

It seems that they only decided to take things public for Halloween.

And looking at their costumes, how could you blame them?

Squad costume goals, right?

Wells and Sarah had been a little flirty over social media, which caused fans to first suspect that they might be an item.

Just little in-jokes, complete with @-ing each other.

But until we saw them all Instagram-official like this, we knew that they might have just been friends.

(Yes, men and women can absolutely be friends, folks — even celebrities)

We’re glad that they decided to go public so that we can all share in their joy (and appreciate their costumes)

Also, clearly these guys are having fun, because they shared one of their whackier photos.

(We’ll admit to not being completely caught up on Stranger Things yet, but … we don’t think that Wells’ Eleven is particularly in-character)

For anyone worried about their age differences, remember that Sarah Hyland just looks young.

She’s 26 years old.

And while plenty of the guys in the Bachelor franchise tend to be a bit on the older side, Wells Adams isn’t too old at 33, right?

That’s only a 7 year age difference and they’re both adults.

We guess that this means no more Bachelor shows for Wells Adams, since those shows are usually just for the single folks.

But he’s dating the super hot Sarah Hyland.

That sounds like a more than fair trade to us.

Wells Adams and Danielle Maltby: Dating?

Bachelor in Paradise has had its fair share of drama so far this season, and there is one couple who may become the next Carly Waddell and Evan Bass. 

If you watch Bachelor in Paradise online, you will know that Wells Adams is the bartender this time around. He was a contestant on last summer’s edition, and he has had his eye on one of the contestants all season long. 

That contestant is Danielle Maltby, and it turns out, they actually go way back. They apparently went on a date several years ago and have been “just friends” ever since. 

The plot thickened when Danielle realized that the love of her life was not in Mexico and set off to help children in Kenya. But, in true rom-com fashion, Wells laid a big kiss on her before she departed. 

With one big kiss in the can, Danielle seemed happy by all of it, noting that it was “a good kiss.” With her revealing that there was the possibility of a pairing down the line, the internet immediately started shipping them. 

You could say it’s an unfair advantage because the duo already knew each other, but it’s not like they were dating on the show. Wells was behind the bar most of the time pouring drinks and doling out some good advice. 

With Carly and Evan being the surprising relationship of last year’s edition of the series and returning to paradise earlier this year to get married, could Wells and Danielle return next year?

Well, we have no idea, but the internet sure wants it to happen. 

Word on the street is that they have been spending a lot of time together since Danielle returned from Kenya, and even Carly and Evan seem to be shipping them. 

Carly shared the above picture with a surprisingly telling caption. 

“We love love!!! Here’s to hoping it works out for everyone like it did for us!!!” Carly captioned a photo which also included Derek Peth and Taylor Nolan. 

With Carly endorsing the couple, it was only a matter of time before Evan chimed in. 

“DANIELLE AND WELLS FOR EVERYTHING LOVE IS REAL AND I AM HERE FOR IT,” he tweeted to his followers. 

E! contacted representatives to get clarification on the status of the relationship. 

“Everyone wants them to be together and thinks they would be the cutest couple,” the source revealed.

“They are just friends at this point, but we all got so excited when we heard about the kiss. I think they will end up together eventually.”

That’s probably as good an answer we are going to get, but we can dream.

Dan Haggerty Dies; Grizzly Adams Star Was 74

Dan Haggerty – star of the beloved film and television series The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams – has passed away at the age of 74.

Haggerty had reportedly been battling cancer for several months at the time of his death.

After getting his start in the industry as an animal handler and stunt expert, Haggerty made the transiition to acting in the late ’60s, appearing in such classic films as Easy Rider.

Haggerty’s famous beard and thousand-watt smile helped him land his most iconic role when he was hand-chosen to appear in the Grizzly Adams film, which became a surprise box office smash in 1974.

The movie spawned a television series and two made-for-TV movies, all of which starred Haggerty in the role of the iconic mountain man.

For a period of time in the late ’70s and early ’80s, Haggerty was one of the most recognized faces in American television.

In addition to his role in Adams, he made guest appearances on such hit shows as CHiPs and Charlie’s Angels.

Sources say doctors discovered a tumor while Haggerty was undergoing surgery for back pain less than a year ago.

The actor passed away at his home in the San Fernando Valley, surrounded by family and friends.

Taylor Swift is Basically Shakespeare, Ryan Adams Says With a Straight Face

Ah, Shakespeare. Willy Shakes. Poet, playwright, subject of countless half-assed term papers, possible stoner, and arguably the most celebrated figure in the history of literature.

The Bard’s got quite a few achievements under his foppish Elizabethan belt, but has he ever released a multi-platinum album? Did even have a squad? We doubt it. So maybe Ryan Adams is on to something when he says Shakespeare and Taylor Swift are basically in the same boat. Or maybe he’s just being a total dumbass.

Adams recently covered Swift’s 1989 in its entirety, and while we – like most people – initially dismissed it as part of his ongoing attempt to remain relevant and sell some records to people who aren’t confused about the absence of “Summer of ’69” on the tracklist, it turns out Ryan actually has a ton of respect for Taylor.

Like, “thinks she’s on par with the greatest geniuses the Western world has ever produced”-level respect.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Ryan compared covering Taylor’s songs to “being in Ghostbusters or something, and then all of a sudden I have to go do Shakespeare.”

When the interviewer pointed out that that’s a bit of an “overgenerous analogy,” Adams replied, “Well, look, those songs are popular for a reason. She’s a popular artist for a reason.”

He may be onto something there.

Guys, we recommend you take your girlfriend to McDonald’s instead of a fancy restaurant for your next anniversary, and if she questions your decision, simply point out that Mickey D’s is more popular than any French eatery on the planet, and there must be a reason for that, non?

Then, when she dumps you, you can write an album of sad breakup music, and Ryan Adams will cover it the next time he’s out of ideas. It’s the circle of life.
