Yesterday, cops were called to the home of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott in response to what appeared to be a domestic disturbance.
Shortly police arrived, sources say, Spelling suffered a nervous breakdown and was removed from the scene.
It is now believed that she’s receiving treatment in an area hospital.
Portions of the police report that have been released thus far make no mention of Tori entering treatment, but do confirm that 911 was called due to an apparent domestic incident.
“At 7:17 this morning, there was a domestic incident that occurred in the 21200 block of Mulholland Drive,” the report confirms.
Sources say police arrived on the scene to find Spelling behaving erratically.
At one point, she reportedly became aggressive toward McDermott, who was also on the scene.
The night before, Spelling called police herself to report what she believed was an intruder.
It was later revealed that the noises that aroused her suspicion were made by McDermott.
While details are scarce, sources say Spelling’s deteriorating mental state was exacerbated by a blowout fight with McDermott.
At least one insider says the fight was caused by the couple’s mounting financial difficulties.
Spelling has been sued by creditors several times in the past year, and she was recently forced to relocate her large family to a much smaller home.
Sources say she blames her financial woes largely on Dean’s continued joblessness.
“Tori’s put up with his slothfulness for long enough, and now enough’s enough,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online yesterday.
In 2017, McDermott was nearly arrested for unpaid child support after missing several payments to the mother of his first child.
Spelling and McDermott welcomed a fifth child in March of last year, and they had reportedly hoped the change in their family situation would bring about an improvement in their relationship.
We think it’s safe to say that hasn’t happened.
While some sources say Tori remains hospitalized, others – such as best friend Megan Farhart – claim the actress was never taken in for treatment at all.
Whatever the case, we wish Tori all the best and we hope she’s able to receive the help she needs.
