Becca Kufrin as The Bachelorette: First Promo Pic!

After getting her heart shattered into a gajillion pieces on national television, Becca Kufrin wants the world to know that she’s back.

With vengeance.

The scorned winner of The Bachelor Season 22, Kufrin was dumped by Arie Luyendyk Jr. mere weeks after he proposed to her on the show’s emotional finale.

It was a stunning and horrific development for the franchise, but fans at least had their concerns over Becca eased a little bit upon learning that she had been chosen as the next Bachelorette.

Her journey to happiness (we really hope!) gets underway on May 28at 8/7c, with host Chris Harrison teasing Kufrin’s season on Twitter this week via her very first promotional photo.

It features Becca in a beautiful gold gown, a red rose in hand… and a straightforward tagline plastered across the front.

Let’s Do The Damn Thing.

It’s pretty clear Kufrin is not messing around, isn’t it?

This is a woman ready to find love on her terms for once, and she doesn’t plan on letting anyone stand in her way.

The slogan seems to has become somewhat of a mantra for Kufrin, who actually used it when she was announced as the show’s lead back in March.

“Words can’t express everything I’m feeling tonight, but I’m so beyond grateful for the love, support and well-wishes,” Kufrin wrote on Instagram alongside a slideshow of images from After the Final Rose.

She then added:

“I’m beyond excited for this next chapter of my journey and to have shared the start of that all with you tonight.

“Now we’re doing the damn thing.”

Yes you are, Becca.

Kufrin handled her very public embarrassment about as well as anyone could possibly expect.

She really only called out Arie one time, shortly after he tried to claim that he dumped her in front of ABC cameras specifically because he wanted to turn her into a sympathetic figure and, therefore, prompt the network to make her The Bachelorette.

That was a crock of nonsense.

“I don’t think he ever expected me to be [the Bachelorette], or how everything played out,” Becca said in response to this assertion.

And that was basically it.

Becca has had a chance to slam the living heck out of Arie and has constantly chosen to mostly take the high road.

She isn’t looking for attention in this manner, a source recently told Entertainment Tonight.

She’s really just looking for a loving husband.

“She’s not one of those people who went on the show for Instagram followers,” the insider told this outlet, adding of the 28-year old Minnesota native:

“She’s got a killer job, she’s a good person and she really wants to find somebody.”

We sincerely hope she does.

Based on a recent set of The Bachelorette spoilers, we have a clearer idea of who this somebody could be.

And we also know he will come from the following pool of suitors.

3. Ryan Peterson

Ryan Peterson is a 27-year-old who is originally from Boston, currently lives in Manhattan, and has previously lived on a boat. He has a BS in business management and previously worked at a fertility agency. He’s also worked as a landscape designer and contractor, but he’s known for being a free spirit. Again, he lived on a boat.

4. Darius Feaster

Darius Feaster is a 27-year-old with an intensely impressive body. Yes, he played football in college at the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated with a BA in Business Management. Now he’s a sales rep for Allergan and lives in L.A.

5. Blake Horstmann

Blake Horstmann is a 28-year-old sales rep for Coors. He has a degree in marketing and communications. The Bachelor Nation may know him best from his first impression — when he showed up with a horse. Like ya do.

6. Clay Harbor

Clay Harbor is a 31-year-old football player. Currently a free agent with the NFL, he has played for the Eagles, Patriots, and Lions. He is from Illinois and played college football at Missouri State.

The Bachelorette Spoilers: Who Made Becca"s Final Six?!

Filming for the upcoming season is still underway, but The Bachelorette spoilers have already begun to reveal details of Becca Kufrin’s journey.

With another month to go until the season premiere, the beautiful brunette has narrowed her list of suitors to six. And we know which ones!

Thanks to a little luck, and mostly Reality Steve – who else – we are all over The Bachelorette spoilers almost as they happen these days.

The man is a god, we’re telling you.

According to Steve’s Twitter, Becca’s final six men are in the Bahamas, where the final dates before her hometown visits take place. 

Obviously, he’s been wrong before, and you never really know the full story until the show airs, but this is likely accurate. Very accurate.

Without further ado, let’s get to it:

Kufrin’s top six bachelors are:

Blake Horstmann, Colton Underwood, Garrett Yrigoyen, Jason Tartick, Leo Dottavio, and Wills. Guess Steve doesn’t have his last name yet.

Hey, 11/12 names isn’t bad.

Indeed, the Bachelorette and Bachelor spoilers guru hasn’t released much about Wills, so his life story may just be harder to hunt down.

In any case, the rose ceremony – if everything follows the franchise’s typical order of things – should send two of the six packing.

Meanwhile, Becca will pack up her things and travel to the hometowns of the final four men, followed by three fantasy overnight dates.

There, Chris Harrison will invite Becca to the Fantasy Suite … with each of the three lucky gents. If she, and they, desire this, of course.

Then it will be time for the final two to meet Becca’s family, and for her to choose one at the final rose ceremony in an exotic location.

Two weeks later, Kufrin will proceed to break up with the winner, dump him with cameras rolling, then secretly get back with the runner-up.

Just kidding. Too soon.

In truth, Becca’s odds of finding lasting love may not be great, despite what we’d like to believe. The show’s track record is just bad.

On the flip side, The Bachelorette has produced more success stories than The Bachelor in recent years … and the bar is very low.

After winning Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s final rose and engagement ring, only to be stripped of both and humiliated on live TV, you can only go up.

Also in Becca’s favor? She’s Becca.

Beautiful, confident, authentic, sweet and smart, she may be the single most popular lead in the history of the franchise. That can’t hurt.

The Bachelor & Bachelorette Couples: Who"s Still Together?

The Bachelor"s 2018 season came to a close with Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Becca Kufrin engaged and totally, utterly, blissfully in love.

Or something. According to The Bachelor spoilers, that relationship would end and he would spurn Becca for runner-up Lauren Burnham.

This turned out to be correct.

Arie and Becca lasted a matter of weeks, and his breakup with her was filmed for the world to see. Raw. Unedited. Uncut.

Didn"t see that twist coming, though Arie"s reputation preceded him, and we can"t say this bodes well for Lauren B. either.

Will they be a new golden couple for the show, a la Trista and Ryan, Ashley and J.P., Jason and Molly and Desiree and Chris?

Or another Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi? Or … Arie and Becca?

Sorry, too soon.

The point is, we can"t help but wonder as we ponder the future: Who is still living happily ever after at this point? Who is not?

You don"t need The Bachelor or The Bachelorette spoilers to tell you that the "made it" list is a lot shorter than the other.

Take a look at notable duos from The Bachelor and Bachelorette and see whether they"re still together since the show:

1. Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham

Yes, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are still together. Right now. For the moment. As of this report. It’s only been a few weeks since they’ve gone public, however, and needless to say, the consensus is that Becca Kufrin dodged a bullet and that Lauren might have her heart broken next. We’re not rooting for that sad outcome, but just saying … it’s Arie.

2. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are a match made in heaven … or are they? Bachelor Nation seemed to prefer runner-up Peter Kraus, but Rachel went with the smooth (too smooth for some fans’ liking) doctor from Miami at the last minute. If Bryan didn’t watch the finale, which centered primarily on Peter waffling over his willingness to propose and Rachel being hung up on him? Then they might be alright.

3. Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi

Look … we wished Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi all the best. That was just the least inspiring public debut from a Bachelor couple since Juan Pablo and Nikki, and it never got much better before they eventually broke up. Come on, people. We were talking about Nick Viall, who was clearly bitten hard by the fame bug, and fell for a girl who didn’t want to be in the “business” or leave Canada, where he had no interest in moving. Just saying. The odds made them a definite underdog from the start, and their five-month relationship proved skeptics correct.

4. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are an interesting case, both seemingly over the moon in love and behind the proverbial eight ball since day one. They certainly seem to have weathered whatever storms have been in their path thus far, but it’s still in the “honeymoon” phase, and we can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to Aaron’s little brother than we know – or that JoJo does at this point. Chances they’ll make it to the altar? 50-50.

5. Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell

It was a good year, closer to a year and a half actually, which is a long time for any relationship, and Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell recently called out what they deemed as “fake news” that said they had broken up … but they canceled their wedding and just admitted that they broke up. #realnews

6. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth have looked the part of the happy couple ever since they got engaged in August 2015. But will their engagement actually last and stand the test of time? The show’s track record suggests otherwise … but here we are a year and a half later, so the joke’s on us?

Kate Middleton to Meghan Markle: Get Ready For a Baller Bachelorette Party!

We’re just two months away from the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Obviously, at this stage in the game, the preparations have kicked into high gear, and we assume guys carrying scrolls and rocking powdered wigs are scurrying all over Buckingham Palace at this very moment.

But it’s not all boring stuff like creating A-list table arrangements and coordinating the traditional Beheading of the Exes.

A royal wedding is still a wedding, which means Meghan’s bridesmaids are in charge of planning a regal bachelorette party. 

And it seems none other than the Duchess of Cambridge is in charge of stripper selection!

“Kate is determined to make it an unforgettable occasion,” a royal insider tells In Touch.

“There will be no expense spared. She wants Meghan to be reminiscing about it for years to come.”

Okay, so maybe there won’t be any Chippendale scepters flopping about, but that doesn’t mean the festivities won’t resemble your typical bachelorette party in other ways:

“Those close to Meghan are already betting that the queen will surprise Meghan with some sexy underthings” says the source, noting that other guests “will surprise Meghan with fun presents, including sexy Agent Provocateur lingerie and X-rated baked goods.”

Sigh.

Look, as much as we’d love to think the queen is gifting people with crotchless thongs and furry handcuffs just to see the looks on their faces, there’s no way in hell that’s actually happening.

We’ve seen The Crown, okay?

Prince Philip had to promise a small island to an Estonian ballerina if he wanted to get freaky.

That’s just the price of royalty, folks.

Anyway, there are parts of this report that we actually believe.

For example, despite the initial, inevitable reports of a Kate and Meghan feud, it seems the next generation of royal ladies are getting along famously.

“Kate has taken Meghan under her wing and is really looking out for her,” a source told Life & Style back in January. 

“She’s advising her new BFF on how to deal with what lies ahead. They’ve become super close.”

Which is a very good thing. 

It’s hard enough when someone you’re not crazy about marries into your family.

It’s far worse when you have to spend half the year traveling the world together with convincing smiles plastered on your faces.

The Bachelor and The Bachelorette: The Most Stunning Exits Ever!

In the past 15 years, The Bachelor & Bachelorette have given us plenty of shockers, from emotional meltdowns to twists we never saw coming.

Usually, these events result – or stem from – an elimination.

Or a dramatic departure of one"s own volition. Or someone being asked to leave by the show itself. Or just a really, really bad breakup.

With the TV cameras rolling to document it all, obviously.

Suddenly it"s no surprise that this franchise has left a mark on the genre, airing for more than THIRTY-FOUR seasons, with no end in sight.

The men, women and moments featured on this list made their way onto it for very diverse reasons. Often through no fault of their own.

All provided images we won"t soon forget, however … at least not "til the next season airs on ABC and we update this list once again.

Where does this week"s two-part shocker – which saw Becca Kufrin win The Bachelor, only to be dumped for Lauren Burnham – rank?

The one that started it all: Brad Womack rejected Jenni Croft on his season finale, and looked poised to propose to fan favorite DeAnna Pappas … who he ALSO rejected! No matter what stunners took place in subsequent years – and we’ve seen a bunch, including the most recent finale – walking away with nothing and breaking two hearts AT THE FINAL ROSE CEREMONY remains the least expected (and least popular) move in franchise history.

2. Becca Kufrin

It wasn’t just that Arie Luyendyk Jr. got engaged to Becca Kufrin on the finale, then broke it off within a matter of weeks. We’ve seen that many times before. It wasn’t even that he went back to Lauren Burnham, his season’s runner-up, in the wake of that broken engagement. Jason Mesnick (scroll down) pulled that one off too. But the way in which Arie ended things with Becca – blindsiding her with cameras rolling, and ABC airing the 40-minute scene uncut – nearly took the top spot on this list. Just savage. Fortunately for Becca, she’ll have a chance at love again as The Bachelorette this summer.

3. Jason Mesnick

DeAnna Pappas became The Bachelorette, and threw fans for a loop by rejecting beloved single father Jason Mesnick, who was so smitten with her, in favor of Jesse Csincsak … who she stayed engaged to for like two weeks.

4. Melissa Rycroft

Jason Mesnick upped the ante on both Brad and DeAnna in the finale night shocker department. After getting engaged to Melissa Rycroft on his season finale, he dumped her … on the After the Final Rose special, in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney! At least this one had a happy ending, though: Jason and Molly are happily married, and have a beautiful daughter.

5. Reid Rosenthal

Reid Rosenthal bolted The Bachelorette of his own volution during the final three … then returned to propose to Jillian Harris on the finale after a change of heart … only by then she had already chosen Ed Swiderski to be her fiance.

6. Ed Swiderski

Ed, too, left in the middle of that same season of The Bachelorette … only to return and WIN Jillian Harris’ final rose. His shady, cheating ways soon caught up with him, however, and the lovable Canadian decided to List It, Not Love It … see what we did there?! Because she hosts Love it or List it on HGTV. Nevermind.

Becca Kufrin is The Bachelorette! And These are Her Suitors!

You can do SO much better, Becca Kufrin.

This was the general response across the Internet after this Bachelor suitor was scorned in unique and awful fashion by Arie Luyendyk Jr. on the stunning Season 22 finale.

Becca accepted Arie’s proposal on the episode…

… only to then be dumped about a month later on national television.

Kufrin handled the disrespectful snub as well as anyone could, but viewers learned on Tuesday night that she will, at least, have a chance to do SO much better than Arie.

Because Becca Kufrin has been named The Bachelorette!

Chris Harrison made this mostly expected announcement on yesterday’s After the Rose special, as Becca sat across from the host and admitted her breakup with Arie was “hard.”

HOWEVER…

“It was easy [to say yes], once I got past the initial heartbreak,” she said of becoming The Bachelorette. “I have so much love to give.”

Kufrin then added: 

“I want to be the best damn Bachelorette I can be. I want to find love. I’m ready to do this.”

Twitter seems pretty psyched over Becca’s selection, as does ABC itself.

“She’s just been so incredibly strong,” network executive Robert Mills told Entertainment Tonight, continuing:

“She really knows how to handle herself, and she’s taking this in stride and you can’t help but love her.”

Producers, meanwhile, wasted no time in throwing Becca to a bunch of horny and handsome wolves.

That’s right: a handful of suitors came right out on stage and introduced themselves to the new and excited Bachelorette!

First up? Some dude named Lincoln.

“I have to say, you are absolutely glowing tonight – you look magnificent,” he told her.

“This is a special night. It is all about you tonight, but I have another twist. Tonight is also my birthday, so I can’t ask for a better birthday present.

“I’m really looking forward to going on this incredible journey with you.”

And then there was Chase.

“I saw what you went through as well and my heart goes out to you,” he said of how Arie played Becca.

“I think that everyone agrees with me here that you deserve better than that. When one door closes, another door opens and I hope to be that open door.

“That smile is beautiful and I can’t wait to see it when I walk out of the limo for the first time!”

Your turn, Darius!

After making a point to “formally apologize on behalf of my gender,” this hopeful husband looked Becca in the eyes and said:

“I’m here for one reason. … I’m here for you. I’m excited for this journey with you, and you are beautiful.”

Dude is good, huh?

And easy on the eyes!

What about being easy on the ears?

That was Brian’s hope, as this future contestant arrived with banjo and song in hand.

“I want you to know how incredibly brave I think it is that you’re standing here right now,” said Brian, expounding as follows: 

“I really respect that a lot and I can’t wait to get to know you.”

And, finally, Becca met Blake… who came out with a horse and message.

“As the saying goes, when you fall off the horse, you’ve got to get back up again,” he explained.

“So I’ve brought you this horse, and I want to be the man to help you get back up again.”

Dude is absolutely getting at least one rose, wouldn’t you say?

So there you have it.

Eff you, Arie. And go you, Becca.

“I’m not afraid to date these guys and find the one who is the best fit for me,” Kufrin tells People in its latest issue, concluding:

“I want to keep in mind, the people who I really do fall for and have strong feelings for, if was them how would I want to be treated?

“And I want think about the bigger picture and the outcome. Is it best to say ‘I love you’ to two people? I don’t know. If I do feel that need, I want to make sure I’m 100 percent sure and keep in mind their feelings.

“I want to keep their needs and emotions at the forefront.”

Look for Becca to debut as The Bachelorette later this year.

Who… will… it…be?!?

This is the question on the minds of all ABC viewers at the moment, as we near the end of Arie Luyendyk Jr."s Bachelor season, which means we"re about to embark on a new Bachelorette season.

Will the star of the latter in 2018 be a woman we"ve met previously on this network? A woman Arie scorned? A fresh face entirely?

3. In a Word?

No, Arie will dump Becca after just a few weeks, making her our top contender to be The Bachelorette. Makes for a pretty endearing backstory, right?

4. What About Lauren Burnham?

She’ll finish second on the finale, according to various reports, but will actually win Arie’s heart in the end… in controversial, possibly cheating fashion. So we can remove her name from The Bachelorette list.

Absolutely. Tia Booth, for example, finished fourth on Arie’s season, but won over many viewers in the process.

Tia Booth: Will I Be The Bachelorette? Well ...

Maybe you"re completely hooked on Arie"s season of The Bachelor … or whether you"re just watching to see if The Bachelor Spoilers hold true.

Either way, you had to be captivated by Tia Booth"s heartbroken farewell and her deeply emotional exit.

In the video below, she"s opening up about that experience, everything that she said, and … whether she would star on The Bachelorette if asked. Her answer was refreshingly honest.

Tia Booth won over many fans with her Arkansas charm.

If you read our The Bachelor recap, you know that Arie"s narrowed down his choices to the final three.

Before that, however, it was time for hometown dates.

Everyone"s families tend to have concerns, but Tia"s families had done a little internet sleuthing (okay, you don"t really need to be a sleuth to type Arie Luyendyk Jr"s name into the search bar), and found out about Arie"s reputation.

As a playboy. As a womanizer. As possibly someone who"s on the show to improve his brand rather than to find love.

(Do you think that they read that Arie is allegedly great in bed?)

In the end, though, Arie was able to charm Tia"s concerned loved ones and assure them that he"s not some sort of snake in the grass.

Tia"s family may have accepted Arie, but Arie sent Tia packing. Her sobs really tugged at your heartstrings.

Because rumors have been mounting that Arie has broken off his engagement already, maybe it"s a good thing that Tia got her heart broken here and now.

A devastated Tia moved audiences with her tears as she said farewell to Arie Luyendyk Jr.

And then, in the car, she admits that she"s tired of feeling like she isn"t good enough.

So … how"s she feeling now that the dust has settled?

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Tia Booth says that she"d jump at the chance to become the leading lady on The Bachelorette.

"I think it would be an amazing experience getting to be the Bachelorette and to get to meet some amazing men."

A lot of people are coy about their desire to fill that roll. Not Tia.

Good for her.

She also says that it would probably present different but interesting challenges.

"I know it would be tough, but I would kinda be in control and in charge."

She thinks that she could really benefit from being the Bachelorette.

"I think it would be another learning and growing experience, and I"m all for that."

She has the same rationale for being all for that experience as she did for going on The Bachelor, pretty much.

"Thirty years from now, I don"t want to say, "Well, I turned that down because I was scared or nervous.""

Hey, that"s a great way to live if you want to seek out new experiences.

Even if Tia doesn"t end up becoming the leading lady, we could still see more of her and her journey for love.

"I would love to be in Paradise. I would love to continue on this Bachelor journey."

More than many, she knew what she was getting into before the joined the show, since Raven Gates had already been on that adventure.

Even if Tia isn"t the next Bachelorette, Arie Luyendyk Jr. is evidence that she could always be called back — even years from now.

Meghan Markle Speaks on "Fun" Bachelorette Party to Come!

Meghan Markle is not about the late some ignorant and cruel racists get her down.

Far from it, in fact.

On the heels of an elected official official being a stupid and awful A-Hole when it comes to Markle marrying Prince Harry, the future Royal spent time in Scotland this week.

According to various outlets, the beloved twosome arrived around lunch time yesterday to the Esplanade outside Edinburgh Castle, where they were welcomed to the city by the Royal Marines Scotland Band.

Markle, meanwhile, was asked a very important question by a native of this region, as someone named Tom Martin wanted to know if the ex-actress had her bachelorette party planned.

“We asked them what they were doing for their stag and hen dos,” Martin told People Magazine, adding:

“Meghan said, ‘I’m not sure – it’s sorted but it will be fun.”

It’s sorted, huh?

Sounds like Markle already has some British vernacular down.

Either that, or she’s been watching a lot of Harry Potter of late.

Many Internet users are likely wondering just who will be invited to Markle’s big party, and also what her definition of “fun” is exactly.

The star does have sort of a wild past, having posted in scantily-clad outfits often over the years.

In the case of this trip, however, the beloved couple had fun by hanging out with the mascot of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, a Shetland pony named Cruachan.

They had a chance to pet the horse in adorable footage actually captured by Kensington Palace.

Harry, for his part, also has a bit of a crazy past.

There are plenty of photos of him online that feature the Prince partying and drinking; nothing too out of the ordinary and certainly nothing illegal.

He remained mum on his stag party plans, however, Martin told People, simply relaying to the publication:

“I’m sure William’s got something up his sleeve,” Martin said.

Onlookers in Scotland said last night and this morning that Markle was a natural while interacting with them.

She’s getting more and more used to being on the public stage, joking with one woman how she loved the color of her nails and telling another that she really liked her purse.

The arrival of Markle and Harry kicked off a day of pre-Valentine’s events in the Scottish capital.

Once inside the castle, the celebrities will observe the firing of the One O’Clock Gun, a tradition that began in 1861.

After visiting this legendary castle, Harry and Meghan will head over to Edinburgh’s New Town to visit Social Bite, a café that gives out food and hot drinks to the homeless.

Pretty cool, huh?

Also, for their final event of the day, the engaged pair will attend a reception at the Palace of Holyroodhouse to celebrate youth achievements in Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018.

Finally, one more note about their wedding, which is scheduled for May 19, 2018.

Sources tell Entertainment Tonight that Markle wants Ed Sheeran to perform at the reception.
