Joel Silvius: Get to Know Molly Roloff’s Fiance!

For the most part, the Roloffs are as open as any family on reality television.

Ever since welcoming their son into the world last month, for example, Zach and Tori Roloff have shared numerous photos of their baby, while also talking at length about his dwarfism.

Then there’s Audrey Roloff, who is due to give birth in September and who has been keeping fans well apprised of her growing baby bump on a nearly weekly basis.

Heck, even when Jacob Roloff quit Little People, Big World last summer, he did so in candid and honest fashion, confessing that he believed the show (and even members of his own family) to be phony and fake and scripted.

All of this is a rambling preamble to bring up Molly Roloff.

She’s on perfectly good terms with her parents, Amy and Matt.

But she’s scarcely seen on their TLC reality show.

And while we know that Molly is engaged, and we even know when she’s getting married, we know very little about the man to whom she’s set to get married.

Just who are you, Joel Silvius?

It is believed that Joel met Molly when both were undergraduate students at Whitworth University.

They currently live in Spokane, Washington, which is where Whitworth is located and which is many hours away from Molly’s family’s farm in Oregon, which mostly explains why she never appeared on Little People, Big World any longer.

It’s simply a matter of logistics.

Silvius will exchange vows on August 5.

They are registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond, along with Crate & Barrel, asking for such items from the latter store as white salad plates, blue serving bowls and other things listed below:

registry

Joel asked Molly to marry him last December.

It’s unknown exactly when the two started dating, but there are photos on Instagram of Silvius and Roloff that date back to 2015.

It’s also pretty clear that Joel gets along very well with his future in-laws.

Just consider the following photo and the caption Amy Roloff wrote underneath it on December 22, 2016:

My baby girl. My best birthday gift ever (we share same bday) My Molly girl… is home for Christmas AND she is engaged to be married. Woohoo! So happy for her.

Joel is one lucky man to capture her heart. Yes he’s a great guy. Love Love her forever & always #secondact #shesgettingmarried #mybabygirl #awedding #mollyandjoel

Little People, Big World will return with new episodes in September.

We doubt we’ll see Molly or Joel on any of these Season 14 installments. They value their privacy and we respect that, of course.

But we do hope a few of their loved ones share a few wedding photos this summer. We’d love to see the bride and groom on their big day!

And we wish them nothing but a lifetime of happiness, of course.

90 Day Fiance Recap: Prenups and Punishments

So… are they all living happily ever after?

On Monday night, TLC premiered the latest season of 90 Day Fiance, giving viewers an update on the couples it has introduced over the years on this controversial reality show.

90 days

Which relationships are in great shape? Which are in tatters? And which has one half hoping the other side gets deported?!?

Let’s find out, shall we?!?

Jorge and Anfisa:

The premiere opened with Jorge complaining because Anfisa doesn’t have a job.

Shockingly, it turns out that Jorge isn’t exactly as rich as TLC has hyped him up to be; the guy can’t even afford to move the couple out of their tiny apartment.

In response to her partner complaining, Anfisa says she won’t cook. She’d prefer if they just went out to restaurants all the time… but that’s expensive.

The issues simply extend from there.

Jorge swears his medical marijuana business has a bright future, but Anfisa feels that he hasn’t delivered on the financial promises he made back when the two met online.

Jorge thinks she’s controlling. He says she’s broken his phones and the key to his car and it sucks that she can’t drive as a result of green card status.

“I hate being married to Jorge,” Anfisa says at one point.

Once she gets her green card? “I’ll be free,” she adds.

After Jorge finally admits that he’s $ 30,000 in debt, blaming his fiscal difficulties on all the time he’s spent with his new wife, Anfisa demands a post-nuptial agreement and storms out.

Chantel and Pedro:

On the flip side, these two are in a great place.

Chantel is getting better at cooking and Pedro, who recently was granted a green card, has found work both in a warehouse and as a dishwasher.

Chantel would like the couple to spend some more time with her family is all, although Pedro makes it clear he isn’t all that comfortable around Chantel’s parents.

What about a wedding in the Dominican Republic to bring both families together, she suggests?

Oh, and how about a pre-nuptial agreement? They tallk to Pedro’s mom about that on the phone… and she does not have nice things to say about Chantel in response.

Loren and Alexei:

Coming off of their wedding in Israel, these two meet up with Loren’s parents for lunch.

Loren says she’s been having a challenging time finding a job and wishes that she’d moved Alexei to New York.

However, Alexei is perfectly content to remain in Florida and thinks that she his wife is a tad bit selfish because he was the one that moved for her already.

She has to make the most of where they are not somehow make Alexei feel like the couple made a mistake.

Loren says that she hasn’t seen Sarah in about a year too and wants to spend a weekend with her in New York.

Fortunately, Loren does get a chance to speak to Sarah later on and plan a trip to The Big Apple. But she’s still suspicious of Alexei’s bachelor party.

Danielle and Mohamed:

With the Internet abuzz over Mohamed’s whereabouts, Danielle made it pretty clear she’s only interested in payback.

I want to get him deported,” she said on the premiere, explaining:

“It’s been months since I’ve seen him, and I am starting to move on from him.

“I’m going back to college, and I’m looking for a nicer home for me and my daughters, and I even have a new boyfriend.”

Mohamed, meanwhile, says that after Danielle found his address. he knew he had to get the heck out of Miami. Therefore, he moved to Port Richey and has been working as a driver.

In the most dramatic scene of the premiere, Mohamed was served papers for annulment.

If this goes through, he really could get deported, prompting Mohamed to call his estranged wife. But what does Danielle say in response?

Basically: Tough luck, loser!

Paola and Russ:

We end on Paola and Russ.

She’s still living in Miami and he’s still in Oklahoma, with Paola meeting with her agent at one point to see how she can further her career.

Go blonde is the response, which leads Paola to get a $ 450 dye and style job that she loves.

She later meets up with Juan, a friend of hers from childhood, and his boyfriend, talking to them about how she felt depressed in Oklahoma.

Juan isn’t a big fan of Russ’ and says that just hearing him speak makes him tired.

Paola finds out that friends in Colombia discuss how she and Russ simply don’t fit together, causing her to question their relationship.

She eventually calls him and he tells her that he misses her, but Paola doesn’t seem to reciprocate this feeling. Will these two still be together when the season concludes?!?

90 Day Fiance: ANOTHER Couple is Pregnant!

We talked about how 90 Day Fiance star Mohamed Jbali may have been deported, but not all of the news coming out of the series and its upcoming season is quite so distressing.

Some couples on that show seemed to enjoy those 90 days of engagement … and even the marriage itself.

Something must have been in the water on that show, because another couple from the series is pregnant!

Yes, that’s the distinctively named Kirlyam, and she’s carrying the couple’s first child.

They’re expecting a boy in September, whom they plan to name Liam.

Her husband, Alan Cox, is positively beaming in every photo that we could find.

Seriously, his every recent photo looks like he’s just seen a baby sloth and also been kissed by a shy puppy.

We think that it’s safe to say that he’s pretty pumped.

Just look at how thrilled — seriously — he is to go shopping for baby clothes (several months early, no less!).

So, Alan Cox is from LA.

He’s a Mormon missionary, and he and Kirlyam met when he was on a mission in Brazil — which is where she’s from.

And where her family still lives.

Missionaries can be controversial because, you know, their whole purpose is telling other people what to believe, and there’s a whole lot of cultural and historical baggage behind that.

But … even I have to relax about this couple, because they’re precious.

90 Day Fiance deals with all sorts of drama, from the regular details of a relationship to outside perceptions.

You can imagine how, to some of Alan’s peers, Kirlyam must have seemed like a mail-order-bride.

Honestly, the most “dramatic” thing about their relationship and eventual wedding was that her family couldn’t make it up from Brazil, so they watched a livestream of the ceremony.

That and the tidbit that, although they lived together on the show, neither of them had engaged in any sort of sex before their wedding night.

So rare, right? But that’s their choice.

And clearly they’re no longer, um, stranger to each other’s bodies. Because pregnant.

They say that greater height differences in straight couples are predictors for longer-lasting relationships.

We know that that sounds like the fakest thing ever, but blame the scientists who studied it.

Point is … these two might be in for the long haul.

And we’re not getting a “green card marriage” or “mail order bride” vibe from these two.

Not even a little bit.

And Kirlyam is actually still in the process of acquiring her green card.

Because no, the US government doesn’t just mail you a green card in an envelope labeled “congrats!” after you tie the knot with a US citizen.

There’s a lot of paperwork, and you even have to apply for renewals after, like, a decade.

You can’t start applying for citizenship until you’ve been here for 5 years. It’s a whole thing.

But, even in today’s nightmarishly xenophobic political climate, we fully expect to see Kirlyam pull it off.

These two aren’t the only 90 Day Fiance couple with good news, as Melanie Bowers and Devar Walters are expecting.

Reality couples don’t usually last all that long, especially when the reality show focuses on the fact that they’re a couple.

Like, think of how The Bachelor usually works out.

But these guys are escapting the reality television curse — appropriate, since Kilyam and Alan are huge Harry Potter fans (relatable, right?).

All told, though, there are bound to be a lot of surprises on the new season of 90 Day Fiance.

90 Day Fiance: Has Missing Star Mohamed Jbali Been Deported?

90 Day Fiance star Mohamed Jbali is missing — or, at the very least, has been uncharacteristically absent from social media for, like, a month.

Fans are fearing the worst — that his online disappearance means that he’s been deported back to Tunisia.

Ex-wife Danielle Mullins has opened up on the subject.

90 Day Fiance is a reality series that’s all about people who, through the normal visa process for non-Americans who are marrying US citizens, essentially have 90 days to reside legally in the country with their spouse.

After that, they either get married or allow their K-1 visas to expire and have to leave.

To be clear, that’s not the show’s invention — that’s how the system works.

Basically, it’s to keep people from staying in the US for, like, 8 years while “engaged” to a US citizen.

But we guess that lawmakers also didn’t want to force people to marry, sight unseen — like, FaceTime hadn’t been invented back when these laws were written.

And somehow three months is supposed to be enough.

The show itself just follows couples during their 90 days.

They have to deal with the usual engagement stuff, plus a deadline … and friends, family, and neighbors who see it all as a mail-order-bride situation.

“He has not been deported, it takes years before someone is deported,” Danielle Mullins says of Mohamed Jbali’s whereabouts to RadarOnline.

“He’s probably trying to make people wonder what is going on.”

That was something that we’d wondered.

After all, a social media absence isn’t the same thing as a missing person’s report.

And it would be a great PR stunt for the show, right?

That’s what Danielle thinks.

“Give him time, he will resurface when show starts airing.”

She, uh, doesn’t really gloss over her opinion of him.

“He will want to defend himself and blame everyone else.”

Tell us how you really feel, Danielle.

But we may need to take Danielle’s words with a few grains of salt.

Mohamed Jbali and Danielle Mullins have been a major source of drama for the show, and that’s not all just in the editing.

And they’re a couple who did get married.

Mutual accusations of cheating would normally be the height of drama for an engaged or newly married couple.

Instead, for these two, the alleged adultery barely scratched the surface.

They had both lied to each other before getting married.

Mohamed about having a job, Danielle about some low-level financial fraud.

Mohamed complained about Danielle’s hygiene and reported that she had a “horrible smell.”

He finally left her — not long after their wedding — after she kept threatening to “have him deported” for not having sex with her, which is pretty effed up.

Their divorce went through last March.

So, Danielle doesn’t like Mohamed — clearly — and so she’s dismissive of, well, anyone worrying about his well-being.

It would totally make sense to share her attitude, since a mysterious absence to drive up fan interest could work out well for ratings.

But at the same time, like, every day you hear another story about someone — sometimes even teenagers who’ve lived here as long as they can remember — getting deported from the US.

It’s easy to imagine an adulterous reality star winding up in someone’s crosshairs for deportation.

We guess that we’ll all find out.

90 Day Fiance Mystery: Where the Heck is Mohamed Jbali?!?

Forget Carmen San Diego and Waldo for a moment.

The Internet has been abuzz of late with questions surrounding the whereabouts of someone who actually exists:

Where, many fans of 90 Day Fiance are wondering, is Mohamed Jbali?!?

The 28-year old rose to reality television fame on the latest season of the aforementioned TLC series.

But his marriage to 43-year old Danielle Mullins did not work out in the end.

In October of last year, Danielle filed for an annulment on the grounds of fraud and adultery.

A few months later, on March 22, Judge Tygh Tone of the Erie County Common Pleas Court announced that the “annulment was changed to a divorce and the divorce was granted.”

Later that same day, his marriage legally over, Mohamed said on a Facebook live video:

“I did not talk to Danielle, all I know is I got my divorce. She had a lawyer talking for her. The judge said it’s done and that we’re divorced. They asked if I want a divorce or annulment, I said it’s the same for me.”

Jbali added that the two paid all their bills together prior to splitting and that there was “no fighting” over any of their divorce details.

That was a positive sign. It appeared as if each side could move on and live their own lives.

Which Danielle has done, keeping fans apprised of this or that on social media.

But Jbali has gone silent. No one seems to know where he is… including his ex-wife.

On May 1, a Twitter follower told Danielle she deserved “happiness” and also asked about her former husband’s whereabouts.

“I don’t know, have not heard,” the reality star Tweeted. “I am doing well.”

After his marriage came to an end, Mohamed reportedly moved to Florida and found work as a driver. He was allegedly spotted in a Target star just a few weeks ago.

However, his social media accounts have not been updated in about a month.

What might this mean, if anything?

Last fall, a Change.org to deport Mohamed back to his native Tunisia actually garnered over 6,000 signatures, as critics called Jbali out for cheating on Danielle and for using her simply to gain citizenship.

Has he taken the hint and finally left the country?

Or has he maybe been deported?

“He’s on a two-year conditional green card,” Danielle said early last year, explaining why her ex could soon be in trouble with the law if he remains in America:

“He needs my signature or some other kind of proof to show he didn’t violate the conditions. They don’t usually accept anything unless it has both signatures.

“So I don’t know how he’s going to prove it, because they won’t take any of the past paperwork that’s already been done.”

There is another, perhaps simpler theory, however:

This is all a hoax. It’s a PR move by TLC.

The network has told Mohamed to remain quiet in order to build anticipation for the next season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After.

According to a press release for new episodes, which kick off on June 25, Mohamed and Danielle will be featured.

We’ll get a close look at their relationship prior to their divorce and how Jbali was pushing for the couple to defect to Canada or Qatar.

These episodes were filmed many months ago, so the inclusion of Jbali doesn’t necessarily mean he’s still in the country or that anyone even knows where he is at the moment.

After tying the knot in July 2014, Mohamed called the cops on his then-wife for opening a DirecTV account in his name, destroying his clothes and stealing money from him.

She was also accused of dating multiple married men at the time.

Danielle, in turn, said that Mohamed had been cheating on her with various members of the opposite, including Luisa Berry.

In other words: these two have always been relied upon for some serious drama.

And this is why we’re guessing TLC wants to keep Jbali in the picture as often as possible.

We’re betting producers told him to remain off the radar for awhile in order for websites such as this one to write articles such as this and basically promote his upcoming appearance on 90 Day Fiance for free.

Darn. We fell for it, didn’t we?

This 90 Day Fiance Couple is Expecting a Baby!!!

Who says that every couple on 90 Day Fiance is miserable and headed for a break-up?

Not Melanie Bowers and Devar Walters!

With about two weeks to go until a new season of this controversial reality show airs, the couple announced on Facebook that they’re expecting their first baby together.

(Melanie does have a son from a previous relationship, FWIW.)

Bowers and Walters broke this very exciting piece of news by simply sharing a photo of the latter’s latest sonogram on social media.

They didn’t even include a caption with the snapshot, but certain pictures really do say one thousand words.

And we’re pretty sure this one qualifies.

a sonogram

Melanie and Devar quickly became fan favorites on “90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After.”

They met while Bowers was on vacation in Devar’s native country of Jamaica.

After Walters worked to secure a temporary U.S. Visa, they had about three months to make a marriage work in the United States, lest he be forced to return to the nation of his birth.

This is basically the premise behind one of TV’s more unusual dating/romance shows.

But Melanie and Devar represent one of the more unusual couples to be featured on reality television… because they seem to actually be happy and in love!

And we’ll get to see even more of their relationship on 90 Day Fiance: What Now?, a special spinoff that will be available on the TLC Go app.

Here’s what promotional material for this program says about the stars:

Separated by work and school, Melanie and Devar don’t get a lot of time together.

Devar attends school for underwater welding while living on campus in NJ four nights a week, while Melanie has been promoted at work and is traveling more than ever.

The only time they have together is on the weekends which proves difficult on their relationship.

In the midst of all the changes, they reveal some huge news to Mel’s sister Beverly.

We think we now know what that huge news will be.

90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? returns on June 25 at 8/7c to TLC.

The network is yet to announce when the Web spinoff will air, but we’ve gotta imagine it will coincide with this premiere.

Congrats to Melanie Bowers and Devar Walters!

90 Day Fiance Spoilers: What Will Season 5 Bring?

In just 17 days, viewers will be treated to a new season of 90 Day Fiance.

The TLC series has been both successful and controversial ever since its premiere in early 2014, as it didn’t merely attempt to create long-term relationships under strange circumstances, such as The Bachelor.

90 day pic

Instead, it brings in foreigners to the United States on a Visa and introduces them to American citizens.

We’re basically talking about mail-order spouses here.

These Visas expire after 90 days, meaning the country’s guests must make a marriage work or be sent back to the nation of their origin.

It’s pretty cold and calculating and cynical and really just all around ridiculous.

But, hey, TLC has aired four seasons to date and season number-five kicks off on June 25.

What can viewers expect to take place on new summer episodes?

First, it’s worth noting this scoop from The Futon Critic:

On television over the next several weeks, fans will tune in to watch “90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?”

But they will also have a chance to go behind the scenes of the show online (and on the TLC Now app) via a program titled “90 Day Fiance: What Now?”

So there’s something to keep in mind.

As for the content of the dual approaches to Season 5?

90 Day Fiance will be checking in on a handful of couples who did walk down the aisle and exchange vows.

From Danielle and Mohamed … to Loren and Alexei … to Russ and Paola … to Jorge and Anfisa … to Chantel and Pedro, we’ll find out what happens when these twosomes are handed a dose of marital reality.

Look for major cultural differences and clashes to become issues for the husbands and their foreign wives, along with stress from financial difficulties and disapproving family members as well.

Mohamed, for instance, doesn’t want to stay in the States; he wants to defect to Qatar or Canada.

Chantel will bring the drama with Pedro, while Jorge and Anfisa will deal with all the ways in which the latter is trying to milk her newfound fame by breaking into the modeling business.

Also, according to one insider, “juicy tidbits about Jorge’s marijuana business” will come to light.

Well… okay then!

We may need to tune in after all this summer.

According to TLC, the new digital series will center on what life has been like for several fan-favorite 90 Day Fiance couples after they made their romance official and legal.

The couples returning for “What Now” will include Narkyia and Lowo; Melanie and Devar; Josh and Aleksandra; Alan and Kirlyam; and Matt and Alla.

What do you think of the concept behind 90 Day Fiance?

Have you been a fan for awhile? Will you be tuning in for Season 5?

Or are you beyond stunned and disgusted that this show even exists?!?

Debra Danielsen: Did Her Fiance Try to Date Farrah Abraham First?!

Earlier this week, we reported that Farrah Abraham and Debra Danielsen haven’t spoken in over six months,

If you watch Teen Mom online, you know that Farrah and Debra have never gotten along, but they’ve always stuck it out.

So the news of their estrangement left many fans wondering what could have happened to cause them to go their separate ways.

Now, it looks like we may know exactly what prompted the mother-daughter rift, and like every detail that’s deemed too disturbing for the Teen Mom cameras, it’s more than a little nauseating.

As you may already know, Danielsen recently got engaged to a medical professional referred to on the show as “Dr. David.”

The relationship between Farrah and Doc Dave has always been strained, and most fans assumed that Farrah was just taking out her barely concealed contempt for her mother on the new man in Deb’s life.

But while it’s true that Farrah didn’t live David from the start, it now looks as though she may have had good reason for her snap judgment.

As first reported by In Touch, Farrah’s boyfriend, Simon Saran, has made a shocking allegation on Twitter.

Saran claims that David romantically pursued Farrah before he had any contact with Debra.

When Farrah shot him down, he allegedly turned his attention to her mother, and the rest is history.

It’s a fan theory that’s been circulating for several months, but Saran confirmed during a recent Twitter conversation with a Teen Mom fan page.

“Is it true David tweeted [Farrah] first, but settled for Deb when she didn’t respond?” the admin asked Simon.

“I’m afraid so!” Simon immediately replied.

Now, Simon loves him some online trash talk, but his relationship with the truth isn’t always the greatest.

So everything that he says should be taken with several grains of salt.

It’s interesting, however, that no one involved in this incredibly awkward situation has refuted Simon’s claim.

Farrah loves drama and borderline hates her parents, but she’s neither confirmed not denied Saran’s accusation.

She just quietly cut off contact with her mother – right around the time Debra and David got engaged.

For many, the situation brings to mind allegations that Matt Baier hit on Farrah and several other Teen Mom stars before eventually getting engaged to Amber Portwood.

We might be witnessing the beginning of a truly gross new trend.

Austin Forsyth: Joy-Anna Fiance, Family Even More Strict Than the Duggars?

If you’re a card-carrying member of Duggar Nation, you know that Joy-Anna just got engaged to Austin Forsyth after a whirlwind courtship.

And we mean whirlwind. Even by Duggar standards, Joy-Anna and Austin are moving this courtship thing along at a breakneck pace.

Those who watch Counting On online were introduced by the 19-year-old Joy-Anna to boyfriend “Austin” on the season finale last fall.

Incredibly, as more information about the Forsyth family comes to light, it appears that they may be even more strict than the Duggars.

His family runs the Fort Rock Family Camp in Arkansas, and has been acquainted with the Duggars and their church for many years.

(This appears to be a familiar pattern; As with Joseph Duggar courting Kendra Caldwell, her family attends the family’s church as well.)

“We are extremely happy to announce the courtship of our son, Austin,” parents Terry and Roxanne wrote on their Christian retreat’s page.

“He and Joy have honored the Lord and will be a great testimony for his goodness and provision for a spouse. Congratulations to Austin & Joy!”

After almost 15 years of friendship, it appears that Joy-Anna Duggar has already become a part of Austin’s family, or close to it.

A quick look at the retreat’s site shows Joy-Anna posing next to Austin, now believed to be 22, and his family in a “camp staff” photo.

Joy’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, are well aware of this, of course; They frequent the Forsyth’s family camp in St. Paul, Arkansas.

The Duggars last visited in October, speaking at the 5th annual fall marriage retreat (yes, Jim Bob and Michelle offer marriage advice).

“We’re so thankful for Austin,” Michelle gushed of her daughter’s new beau last fall. “He is a great guy and we’re excited about the future.”

Not only are the Forsyths’ members of the Duggars’ inner circle, they’re not new to the whole reality TV scene themselves.

It’s this fact that has some fans worried about Joy-Anna.

In 2009, when he was 15, he starred alongside his parents and sister Meagan on Season 1 of CMT’s World’s Strictest Parents.

No, we did not invent the existence of that show, as much as you might think so. It was actually a thing and they were on it.

The series, which was what it sounds like, united troubled teens with strict parents in hopes of helping them turn over a new leaf.

Whether it achieved that goal or not, it certainly gave viewers some insight into Austin’s family and their extremely rigid belief system.

The Forsyths place a heavy emphasis on modesty, homeschooling and staying “pure” until marriage, which likely sounds pretty familiar.

Not unlike the Duggars, that includes saving your first kiss for your wedding day (suffice it to say, premarital sex is out of the question).

In one particular scene, it was revealed to viewers that during a Sunday school lesson, the Forsyth’s guests were taught about dating.

Specifically, the dangers of dating, which “leads to divorce.”

To our knowledge, the Duggars have never used wording that strong.

However, we all know how seriously regimented they are, and how courtship has been called “dating with a purpose” or a pre-engagement.

In any event, it’s no wonder that we’ve heard talk of Joy-Anna’s courtship rules being the strictest ever enforced by the famous family.

Critics will likely talk about how unhealthy this all is. Maybe they’re right, or maybe it’s exactly what these two young people want and love.

All we can tell you is that they look happy as a pair of human beings can be, and that by all accounts that matter, it’s a match made in …

… somewhere in Northwest Arkansas, nestled among the Ozarks.

God’s Country in more ways than one. Even a little slice of heaven.

At least if you can describe a pair of repressed, sheltered, virginal 20-somethings running around in layer upon layer of denim as heaven.

If anyone can, it would be Joy-Anna and Austin, and we are so excited for them as long as they’re happy in taking this next big step.

Ditto Joseph and Kendra, whose romance was announced today.

We just hope that they’re doing it for the right reasons, and chart their own course in life, rather than living wholly in their families’ shadows.

Having core beliefs and values and sticking by them is good, but so is getting out there and trying new things. Just some food for thought.

Taylor Lianne Chandler"s Alleged Fiance: We"re Not Even Dating!

Earlier this week, we reported that on New Year’s Eve, Taylor Lianne Chandler got engaged to an Air Force major, whom she claimed to have been dating since October.

The information came to us via an anonymous email and seemed to be confirmed by posts on Chandler’s verified Facebook and Twitter pages:

Now, however, we have ample reason to believe that Chandler is intentionally misleading her followers as part of a bizarre effort to upstage the man whose coattails she rode to a modicum of ill-gotten fame, Michael Phelps.

As you may recall, Chandler first made a name for herself by boasting to the media that she had dated the swimmer and was with Phelps the night he was arrested for DUI.

She went on to build a career for herself out of what now appears to have been a one-night stand, even going so far as to star in a Phelps-themed porn produced by Vivid Entertainment.

Phelps married Nicole Johnson back in June in a small private ceremony, and the couple celebrated their nuptials over the holiday weekend with a larger and more public reception.

That same day, Chandler posted a Periscope video in which she admitted to being in a “really bad mood” due to news she received about an ex.

Shortly thereafter, the anonymous source began spreading the word that Chandler’s Air Force major boyfriend had surprised her by popping the question at a New Year’s Eve party.

This morning, we received an email from the major (whose name we’ve chosen not to repeat for the sake of his and his children’s privacy) describing the news of his engagement to Chandler as “very, very incorrect.”

He later clarified:

“I am not engaged to her and we were not even bf/gf.

“I only went on a couple dates with her before Christmas and then stopped talking to her. I did not know her before I met her on Dec 9th and she has never met my children.”

Were it not a figment of her imagination (which is almost certainly the case) the forthcoming marriage to the major would be Chandler’s seventh.

She seems to have a particular affinity for military men, as just last month, she revealed in a blog post that a judge had issued an order of protection to a Marine who claimed she had been stalking him.

In what’s likely to be the closest she’ll come to a confession, Chandler hinted in a tweet yesterday that the recent marriage talk was her way of drumming up publicity for her ailing career as a social media personality:

As for Chandler’s promise to clear the air and expose Phelps as a fraud in December …

… well, we’re still waiting.

We’d say she might not realize that it’s now January, but how could she forget a major life event like getting engaged on new Year’s Eve?

We’re eagerly awaiting an email from an anonymous source explaining why those receipts have yet to be made public.
