Jodie Sweetin Finally Responds: Did She Sleep with John Stamos or What?!?

John Stamos sky-rocketed to fame on Full House for often saying the phrase have mercy.

But a certain question has been making its way around the Internet for the past few years, one that can be summed up as follows:

Did Stamos also have his way with co-star Jodie Sweetin in bed?

That is, have Stamos and Sweetin slept together?!?

Yes, this really has been a topic of speculation among social media users, despite the fact that Sweetin is 36 years old and Stamos is 55 years old and has spent a portion of his career portraying her uncle on screen.

And the subject was raised again on Monday after Sweetin jumped on Instagram to wish Stamos a very happy birthday.

Along with the throwback photo featured below, the actress wrote the following cute caption:

“Happy Birthday, Uncle J! My, my… we’ve made quite the memories these last 30+ years!

“I can’t believe you’re about 10 years younger than I am currently in this photo!! We were babies! (Well, I actually was… haha).

“Love you so much.”

Pretty sweet, right?

Not to one commentator, who responded to the birthday wishes as follows:

“How can you still say uncle to him when it’s been reported that you slept with him?! That’s just nasty.”

Sweetin seemed taken aback by the inquiry and the remark, replying as best she could in the moment:

“Hahahah…um…what?! Yeah…that’s def not true.”

Not only are Sweetin and Stamos 19 years apart in age (which is nothing, if you were to ask Dane Cook), but they’ve known each other for decades.

They played Stephanie Tanner and Uncle Jesse, respectively, on Full House from 1987 to 1995; and then reprised their roles in Netflix’s revival/reboot Fuller House.

So, Stamos has known Sweetin since she was five years old, making the mere suggestion that he did anything with her sexually to be gross, disgusting and totally abhorrent.

Seriously, Internet, where do you come up with this stuff?!?

Sweetin, meanwhile, is currently dating some guy named Mescal Wasilewski. They’ve been together since November.

The actress previously was married to Shaun Holguin from 2002 to 2006; and to Cody Herpin, with whom she shares nine-year-old daughter Zoie, from 2007 to 2010.

The star is also mother of daughter seven-year Beatrix with ex-husband Morty Coyle, from whom she separated in 2013 after two years of marriage.

Stamos, for his part, is mad crazy handsome.

He welcomed a son named Billy in April with his wife, model Caitlin McHugh.

Jodie Whittaker Announced as First-Ever Female Doctor Who; Sexist Internet Loses Its $hit

The new Doctor is in.

And the Internet is, naturally, very pissed off.

On Sunday morning, BBC and BBC America announced via video and via press release that Jodie Whittaker has been named the 13th person to be cast as the title character on Doctor Who.

It’s notable every time a new actor takes on this iconic role.

But it’s especially notable in Whittaker’s case because she’s an actress.

Yes, Jodie Whittaker is a woman. She’s the first woman to ever be cast as Doctor Who and she will officially take over for the departing Peter Capaldi on the Doctor Who Christmas special.

Said new head writer Chris Chibnall of the casting decision:

After months of lists, conversations, auditions, recalls, and a lot of secret-keeping, we’re excited to welcome Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor.

I always knew I wanted the Thirteenth Doctor to be a woman and we’re thrilled to have secured our number one choice. Her audition for The Doctor simply blew us all away.  

Jodie is an in-demand, funny, inspiring, super-smart force of nature and will bring loads of wit, strength and warmth to the role.

Whittaker, meanwhile, has the following to say:

I’m beyond excited to begin this epic journey – with Chris and with every Whovian on this planet.

It’s more than an honor to play the Doctor. It means remembering everyone I used to be, while stepping forward to embrace everything the Doctor stands for: hope. I can’t wait.

Whittaker is probably best known for having played Beth Latimer on the British crime show Broadchurch … where she co-starred opposite David Tennant, who previously played the lead role on Doctor Who.

She’s a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and appeared in the short film Wish 143.

It centered on a 15-year-old boy with cancer and it was nominated for Best Live-Action short at the 2011 Academy Awards.

Says Capaldi of the woman to whom he will be bequeathing this highly-sought-after part:

Anyone who has seen Jodie Whittaker’s work will know that she is a wonderful actress of great individuality and charm.

She has above all the huge heart to play this most special part. She’s going to be a fantastic Doctor.

Despite the positive reaction from those associated with the series, this is the World Wide Web.

A whole bunch of idiotic trolls out there are taking issue with the casting of a woman as Doctor Who (“What will be next, Jane Bond?” one of them asked), despite the fact that this is a time-traveling, shape-shifting alien with two hearts.

If you somehow think the Doctor’s gender has any impact on his or her realism, well… just keep that sexist and ridiculous opinion to yourself, okay?

Thankfully, the excitement on Twitter over Whittaker’s casting appears to be far louder than the criticism.

To wit:

Jodie Sweetin Dancing With The Stars Injury: I Didn"t Want To Be Done!

Stephanie Tanner will dance another day.

Jodie Sweetin and partner Keo Motsepe were rehearsing for week six, and then things went south.

The Fuller House star rolled her ankle mid-dance, but that’s not the worst part.  Motsepe then fell on on his partner.

“I was in SO much pain,” Sweetin, 34, told Us Weekly.

“I thought for sure, with the way I rolled my foot and [Keo Motsepe] fell on the outside bone, that that was it. 

“I was in so much pain I thought there was no way that the bone couldn’t be broken.”

After taking X-rays, the technician told Sweetin that things weren’t nearly as bad as she had imagined.

“She said, ‘I don’t see anything broken!’ Sweetin recapped.

“I was like, ‘Oh my god!’ Just the amount of relief I felt when she said that.

“I was so scared. I didn’t want to be done!”

Sweetin and Motsepe performed Pink’s “Try,” a big challenge for the star.

And even though doctors instructed Sweetin to rest, she found herself back at the studio that very same day.

“I went back to the studio, not to dance on it, but to finish up a couple of things, and the executive producers were like, ‘Why are you here!?"” 

Though she did go back home to rest, Sweetin was back at it the very next day.

“You push yourself this much, and especially with a dance like we did this week, there’s no way you’re not going to hurt yourself somehow,” Sweetin said.

“This is as athletic as playing a sport and if you push yourself to that extreme, you hurt things.”

Before last night’s competition, Sweetin sent an Instagram to fans.

“@keo_motsepe and I are so happy to be back dancing with each other, even though our dance looked so intense!! Haha!” she wrote.

“We really channeled some strength! I also want to thank ALL of you for so much incredible love and support this week!

“I couldn’t have kept dancing without your well wishes!!”

OUCH.

This looks (and sounds) excruciatingly painful.

Yesterday, we reported that Jodie Sweetin was rushed to the hospital.

The actress was rehearsing a routine for Dancing With the Stars when she suffered an injury to her foot.

Today, video was released of the move Sweetin was attempting when things went awry, and her pain is absolutely palpable.

The Fuller House star is seen letting out a piercing scream and cries out after collapsing on the floor.

She and her partner, Keo Motsepe, were recreating a dance move once executed by Pink for the upcoming DWTS episode "Famous Dances Night."

As part of the act, Sweetin attempts to balance all of Motsepe"s weight on her legs and torso.

Unfortunately, she pushed her body too hard and she toppled backwards onto the floor with her partner on top of her.

Yesterday, Sweetin"s rep confirmed that she was in the hospital and being treated for an injury to her left foot.

"Earlier today, Jodie Sweetin injured her left foot during rehearsals for Dancing with the Stars," her spokesperson said in a statement.

"She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and she is awaiting her official diagnosis," the rep added.

"She is in good spirits while she waits and Keo, along with her fiancee Justin Hodak, are by her side."

So far, Sweetin has not commented on her condition, but she did express her grief about the death of Prince.

"Wow. I cried today when I heard," she wrote yesterday alongside a photo of the Purple One on Instagram.

"He was my all time favorite," she added.

We still have not heard news on an official diagnosis or if Sweetin will be able to return to perform on next week"s DWTS.

Sweetin was addicted to cocaine, meth and alcohol before finally committing to sobriety in 2011.  The Dancing With The Stars competitor recently admitted to Us Weekly that she drank while pregnant with her oldest daughter, Zoie, 7.

“There were a couple instances of me drinking,” Sweetin revealed.

“Those things I never thought I would do, I did.  I was living a double life.”

Sweetin’s “rock bottom” moment came after she drank two glasses of wine and drove with her daughter in the car.

“I not only put myself in danger, but also my daughter, who I loved more than anything,” she said. 

It wasn’t until an emergency custody hearing was called in response to her drinking that Sweetin “threw herself” into a 12-step program.

Now, Sweetin is engaged to boyfriend Justin Hodak, and ready to walk down the aisle for a fourth time.

In the premiere episode of this season’s DWTS, Sweetin got emotional during a rehearsal, saying she didn’t want to let anyone down.

“I’m worried about what other people think,” Sweetin told her partner, Keo Motsepe.

“When I was a kid I didn’t care if I looked stupid. Now as an adult I have this fear.”

She’s been doing well on the ABC series, and is grateful for the life she’s built.

“With each day, I have opportunities to have more and more amazing things come into my life,” Sweetin told the publication.

“I have so many bright moments, I keep pinching myself.”

Last weekend, Miley Cyrus angered many fans by posting a racy photo of actress Jodie Sweetin back in her partying days.

No one really understood what the singer’s motive was, but the pic featured Jodie straddling a man while wearing a low-cut black tank top and was captioned, “Current Mood #fullerhouse.”

Jodie has been open about her past addictions to drugs and alcohol, but has been sober for some time and is making a comeback by starring in Fuller House and as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars.

Fans took Miley to task for her irresponsible post and scolded her for throwing shade at Jodie after she’s cleaned up her life.

“She’s moved on from that life, but obviously you haven’t,” wrote one commenter.

Today, Jodie responded to the ordeal, and is clearly taking the high road.

“I don’t pay attention to negative stuff,” she told E! News. “I have so much good stuff going on in my life right now that I try not to pay attention.”

She also added that it’s “not worth it” to focus on the less-than-favorable comments of others.

Someone tell that to Kim Kardashian. (And Kanye West, for that matter.)

Good on you, Jodie. The best revenge is living well, and clearly, you are.

Seeing bizarre, inexplicable photos on Miley Cyrus’s Instagram page is about as commonplace as seeing a flower with petals – it’s just the way of the world.

But when the singer shared a throwback photo of former child star Jodie Sweetin back in her partying days, fans were not pleased.

No one understands the message Miley was trying to send, but the composite photo depicts Sweetin straddling a tatted-up man, possibly her ex Cody Herpin, in one shot and another with her breasts in the man’s face as two other guys observe.

Herpin’s face is covered up with a blurry image of what appears to be Sweetin’s current fiance, Justin Hodak.

“Current Mood #fullerhouse,” Miley wrote in the caption.

Sweetin has openly discussed her years of addiction but now maintains a completely sober lifestyle. In her sobriety, she even worked as the director of operations at a drug and alcohol treatment center. 

Now, Sweetin is engaged and making a name for herself again in Fuller House, Netflix’s reboot of the popular 90s sitcom Full House.

She most likely would like to put her past behind her, so why did Miley have to put this photo back out in the ether?

Numerous fans came to Sweetin’s defense.

“She’s moved on from that life, but obviously you haven’t,” wrote one commenter.

“This isn’t nice. @JodieSweetin has a much more better life Miley. Don’t ruin her life okay?” wrote another.

Jodie Sweetin: Engaged to Justin Hodak!

It looks like Jodie Sweetin’s house is about to get fuller.

People magazine is reporting today that the 34-year-old actress is engaged to boyfriend Justin Hodak.

Sweetin hasn’t announced the engagement publicly yet, but she reportedly told family and friends last night.

Hodak hinted at the big news earlier this week when he posted the photo above in honor of Sweetin’s birthday:

“To my one and only @jodiesweetin,” he captioned the pic. “I love you more than anything. Happy Birthday. May we grow together for many more to come.” 

This will be the fourth marriage for Sweetin, who filed for divorce from Morty Coyle in 2014.

Sweetin and Coyle have one child together.

After gaining fame at the age of 5 with her role on Full House, Sweetin struggled with addiction and substance abuse for several years.

She’s now sober and looking forward to returning to television on the Netflix sequel series Fuller House, which is set to premiere next month.

While Sweetin has certainly struggled over the years, co-stars say she remains an eternal optimist and a joy to work with.

We wish her luck in her career comeback and hope for many years of happiness for her and Hodak.
