John David Duggar Goes Rogue, Ditches Family: Is Abbie Grace Burnett a Bad Influence?!

It’s been two months since we first learned that John David Duggar is courting Abbie Grace Burnett.

Some were shocked by the news, others not so much.

While it’s true that JDD is well past the age when most Duggar men begin courting, many assumed that — like his twin sister Jana — John David had simply decided to remain single.

While such a decision would likely outrage his father, John David had rebelled against Jim Bob Duggar several times in the past and seems to have no problem breaking with family tradition.

And it seems that John may have found himself a fellow insurgent in Abbie.

Ever since the two of them began hooking up (which in the Duggars’ world means making eye contact and occasionally holding hands for the allowable period of 15 seconds), John David and Abbie Grace have been throwing caution to the wind and shocking the locals with their behavior.

And what exactly have they been up to?

Well put on your pearls and get ready to clutch ‘em folks, because these two ne’er do wells are up to no good, and they don’t care who knows it!

And by that we mean John David and Abbie have been breaking courtship rules and skipping church.

Now, the first offense might just mean that John David and Abbie have engaged in the sinful practice of front-hugging.

Usually, premarital hanky-panky of any kind is the worst thing any Duggar couple can be accused of, but the church-skipping might actually piss Jim Bob off worse.

Sources close to the family say John David has been AWOL at Sunday services on multiple occasions, and those who know him best say it’s all because of Abbie.

“John David has not been at church,” one insider tells Radar Online, adding that JDD hasn’t been himself since “Abbie showed up.”

“They’re always missing from church when they’ve started dating,” another insider confirms.

Those who follow the family closely know that this is just the latest example of Jim Bob and Michelle’s offspring rebelling against their parents.

There’s been much talk about which of the Duggar kids will be the first to “break free,” and it now it looks as though several of them already have.

Jinger Duggar has been wearing pants in defiance of the family dress code, and it seems she’s inspired some of her sisters to follow suit.

Josiah Duggar has been rebelling against Jim Bob for years, and now that he’s married, he can really set out on his own.

Will mild-mannered John David be the rest to defy his father?

We never would’ve expected it, but it seems he’s well on his way!

Amy Duggar: Jim Bob & Michelle Think I"m a Bad Influence!

Amy Duggar has long been considered the black sheep of her family, thanks to her involvement in such banned activities as kissing before marriage and listening to music that’s not about Jesus.

The 29-year-old newlywed has spoken in the past about how her family’s ultra-conservative views have caused friction, such as when her husband, Dillon King, made the mistake of dancing the first time he met them, causing some of the more pious Duggars to avert their eyes.

Now, the outspoken cousin of the 19 Kids and Counting clan is opening up about more ways in which Jim Bob and Michelle’s beliefs have driven a wedge between her and the rest of the family.

Recently, an Instagram follower asked Amy if the girls ever spend the night at her house to get caught up on pop culture, since they’re not permitted to watch TV or listen to secular music.

“We’ve had a girls night before and have gone out to eat,” Amy replied.

“It’s a rule though that if I want to spend quality time with them I have to come see them. They don’t want me to influence them. So I respect their standards and I don’t fuss about it.”

Sounds like the sort of thing most people would be offended by, but Amy takes it in stride.

She’s spoken in the past about her refusal to be guilt-tripped by Jim Bob, and it seems she takes the judgment of her extended family in stride.

“It used to really bother me and then I realized that I just live knowing that God gives us grace,” Amy added on Instagram.

“I can only be myself and even though we don’t see eye to eye on every little thing we are still family and I do still love them.”

We guess, she can’t be too mad at them.

After all, Amy is trying to make it as a country singer, and if it weren’t for her family’s unusual belief system, she probably wouldn’t be enjoying the attention of half-a-million Instagram followers.

Farrah Abraham to Simon Saran: You"re a Bad Influence, B-TCH!

Farrah Abraham may have briefly gotten back together with BF Simon Saran, but from the looks of this clip, it did or (or will not) take.

The new season of Teen Mom OG premieres Monday night on MTV, and the network released this new sneak peek with a fitting title:

"Dinner Date From Hell."

We"ve already seen Farrah go off on a producer and Abraham berating mom Debra in previous clips from the much-anticipated premiere.

Now we get to see her in an even more uncomfortable back-and-forth as Simon suggests that the couple work on their erratic relationship.

“I think we need to kind of understand each other more,” he suggests, which out of context, seems reasonable … only she flips out.

Replies Abraham, with obligatory profanity:

“Wow, f–king open up your ears and understand and listen [to] what I’m saying. You ignore people’s feelings, then you want to move forward.”

Saran had a response, we think, but you can"t really hear him with Farrah constantly cutting him off. It"s awkward. Finally he says:

“I’m trying to explain something to you, but you come out with a hostile answer, and you just don’t listen … you don’t let me finish.”

“I’m sorry for interrupting, bitch,” Abraham snaps.

Simon then cuts to the chase in what may have led to the tension initially: “Don’t ever tell me that I’m a bad influence on your daughter.”

“You have been,” Farrah insists.

Incredulous, her beau likely wonders how he even got here. “I have no idea how I have been. I barely see the kid,” Simon Saran replies.

“‘The kid’?!” Abraham recoils, appalled.

“My daughter, her name is Sophia!”

That it is … and the poor thing will likely watch Teen Mom online one day. One can only imagine how she"ll react when she does.
