Adam Lind: Did He Sign Over His Parental Rights for Aubree?

Adam Lind is … well, he"s not a good person, for a whole lot of reasons.

He has several problems, and don"t worry, we"ll do a quick review on them, but as a result of all of these issues, he recently gave up his rights to his youngest child.

It"s sad in many, many ways.

But what about Aubree?

1. Ugh

Adam lind and daughter aubree

OK, so Adam is doing so hot these days.

2. Well …

Adam lind muscles

He’s always been a jerk … remember when Chelsea had just given birth to Aubree and he texted her to call her a “fat stretch mark bitch”?

3. So Awful

Adam lind image

He also wrote “tell me where and when to sign the rights over for that mistake,” which is particularly heartbreaking, considering what just happened with his parental rights.

4. Hold Up

Hold up

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, all right?

5. Bad Boy

Adam’s been getting arrested for years now because he’s always had trouble with following the law and being a considerate person.

6. Why Though?

For a while, his arrests were mostly based on his complete inability to follow the rules of the road — rules like “don’t drive drunk” and “don’t drive without a license.”

Adam Lind Signs Over His Parental Rights, Is Really Just the Worst

OK, so Adam Lind is a truly awful person with zero redeeming qualities.

We all know this, and we’ve known it for a very, very long time.

It would take forever to list all the ways he is the worst, but let’s at least go through a rundown of his greatest hits, all right?

The world was unfortuantely introduced to him because he impregnated Chelsea Houska, who had her own episode of 16 and Pregnant and then went on to be one of the mothers featured in Teen Mom 2.

They shared an adorable daughter, Aubree, but it was clear from the beginning that he was not exactly the world’s best dad.

Or a dad at all, really.

He wasn’t around too much after Aubree was born, or ever, as far as we saw.

He and Chelsea broke up, then got back together, and so on and so forth.

He was really cruel to her and obviously wasn’t too interested in their kid, but still, she kept taking him back pretty much until she met Cole DeBoer, an actual good person and now, her husband.

At some point in that mess, he also began seeing Taylor Halbur, and he had a baby with her, too — a precious little girl they named Paislee.

Adam wasn’t around for her, either, and it’s since become clear why.

As it turns out, he has a pretty big problem with addiction and domestic violence.

He’s been arrested plenty of times for DUIs and driving without a license, that sort of thing, but last year, he failed a court-ordered drug test.

Because of meth.

Yep, Adam was doing lots and lots of meth, and although he’s not on Teen Mom 2 anymore and hasn’t been for a while, we really don’t have any reason to believe he ever stopped.

He was also arrested more than once last year on domestic violence charges — his most recent ex, Stasia Huber stated in court documents that he broke her arm when he was high, then locked her in the house and destroyed her phone.

In other court documents for another case, Taylor claimed that he once killed two of her puppies, and that on another ocasion, he knocked her to the ground when she was holding Paislee.

So meth, breaking girlfriend’s arms, killing girlfriend’s puppies … how can it get any worse?

Oh, just you wait!

In one of Adam’s earliest appearances on MTV, he sent a text to Chelsea, who had just given birth to Aubree, to call her a “fat stretch mark bitch.”

He also wrote “tell me where and when to sign the rights over for that mistake,” and by “that mistake,” he meant their baby.

Now, all these years later, he actually did sign his rights over.

Not for Aubree, but for his other daughter, Paislee.

Yesterday, Taylor took Adam to court to get things done, as reported by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.

It was hardly the first time Taylor took Adam to court — they’ve been many times to deal with custody arrangements, child support, visitation — but it was the last.

According to the report, Adam was asked several questions by the judge before everything was made official, and he was required to state that he knew his decision was permanent, and that from here on out, he’d have no rights to Paislee.

He did, and just like that, he signed away his rights to his youngest child.

As a bit of a happy ending to all of this, South Dakota state law requires that when parental rights are terminated, the rights get transferred to someone else, or to some authorized agency.

That was no big deal though, because Taylor’s husband adopted Paislee!

He’s been in Paislee’s life for a long time, and it seems like he’s been her dad during all that time anyway, it’s just official now.

Paislee Gets Adopted

Unfortunately, this doesn’t affect anything with Aubree.

If Chelsea wants Adam to terminate his parental rights to her, too, then she’ll have to get her own court date.

But in the past, she’s often followed Taylor’s lead — Taylor got a visitation center involved for Adam long before Chelsea did, for example — and they do speak with each other.

We have a feeling that if she wanted to do this, too, then Cole would happily adopt Aubree.

Honestly, it’s probably only a matter of time until that happens.

Can Adam get any lower than this?

Chelsea Houska: Adam Lind is an Irresponsible DICK!

So Adam Lind is just the absolute worst, right?

Like, we dare you to come up with a single redeeming quality he has.

And just think, as awful as we know him to be, we’ve only seen a very, very small part of his life on Teen Mom 2.

Imagine how bad it must be to actually know him in real life.

OK, and then on top of that, imagine actually sharing a child with him.

Poor, poor Chelsea Houska …

Chelsea made some poor decisions when she was young and dumb, and while we’re sure she doesn’t regret having Aubree even a little bit, she’s tied to Adam for the rest of her whole entire life.

Adam, who does meth, has multiple arrests for things like domestic violence and DUIs, was once accused of murdering puppies, and who refuses to pay child support for his two daughters.

It’s got to hurt. It just has to.

Adam hasn’t appeared on the past couple of seasons of Teen Mom 2, and in recent years, Chelsea’s been a little more private on the show, but we’ve still heard a bit about him lately.

Last week, we saw them go to court to make it so that Adam could only see Aubree at a visitation center, and also so that Aubree could have “DeBoer” added to her last name.

MTV cameras weren’t allowed in the courtroom, but we did see Chelsea cry from relief after everything was said and done, and we definitely can’t blame her.

Now, in a sneak peek from this week’s episode, we’re seeing that there was actually another matter she and Adam discussed at court that day: child support.

And if you didn’t despise Adam already, well, prepare yourself.

In the beginning, Chelsea explains in a voiceover that she’s in mediation with him because he’s trying to lower his child support, which is weird, because he doesn’t pay it anyway.

She leaves the courthouse with her friend, and on the ride home, she tells her all about what happened.

“OK, he has no bank account because that got closed,” she begins. “He has no vehicle, people are driving him around. He has his house and he paid in full, but when asked how he pays his bills, he says he doesn’t.”

“He has no job,” she added, and “he doesn’t want to apply for a job because as of today, he’s going to start his own business.”

And when asked what kind of business he wanted to start, she said that he admitted he “hasn’t gotten that far yet.”

So … that’s where Adam is right now.

No job, no car, no bank account, though he does own a house he was able to pay for with Teen Mom money.

If he doesn’t pay his bills, does that mean he sits in his house with no electricity or running water, are things that bad?

Because it kind of sounds like things are that bad.

Chelsea says that Adam confessed he hadn’t applied for a single job for months, and when asked about that, he “went on this rant, ‘I can’t get a job because the publicity against me from MTV is, like, negative."”

Yeah, that’s why he can’t get a job, because MTV portrayed him as a scumbag. Not because he actually is one.

“You’re not getting a job because you did that to yourself,” Chelsea says. “You’re a huge dick, so they probably don’t want to work with you. Because you’re a huge, irresponsible dick.”

Don’t hold back, girl!

She’s obviously justified in being so frustrated by Adam, and she’s also obviously not wrong about him.

He’s proved time and time again that he definitely is a huge, irresponsible dick, and he deserves to get called out for that on TV.

Will it do anything to change his ways?

Probably not.

But we bet it felt good for Chelsea to let loose with that real talk.

Adam Lind: Arrested! Again! For Maybe the 27th Time!

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before, but…

… Adam Lind is in trouble with the law.

Absolutely and totally stunning, we know.

According to Radar Online, the VERY often-troubled ex-husband of Chelsa Houska was arrested in South Dakota and placed behind bars for a “new violation of a stalking protection order.”

These were the words used by Officer Kastner of the Minnehaha County Jail, per the aforementioned celebrity gossip website.

“He had two warrants, both served on him. His court date will be tomorrow, Tuesday, May 29,” Officer Kastner added of Lind, who no longer appears on Teen Mom 2.

The rarely-law-abiding former MTV personality has far bigger things to worry about right now than camera time anyway, considering he was also arrested in January for drug possession.

Shortly after this incident, Houska was awarded sole custody of Aubree, the eight-year old daughter she shares (shared?) with Lind.

The Minnehaha inmate listing report says that Lind’s alleged charges include “violation of a stalking protection order,” “violation of protection or no contact order,” and “non-support of a minor child.”

No bond was listed in this document, meaning Lind cannot be released from prison until a bail amount is set by the assigned judge.

The guy could be in serious, serious trouble.

Details are scarce regarding what, exactly, transpired in this case — but Lind was taken into custody at 3:37 a.m. on Memorial Day.

Was his frequent ex-girlfriend Brooke Beaton the subject of Lind’s reported stalking?

We can’t say for certain, but she filed a restraining order against Lind several years ago and he’s been accused of stalking her in the past.

Due to his pending and numerous legal issues, Lind is not permitted to see Aubree at the moment outside of supervised visitation.

Based on court documents obtained by Radar in January, Lind’s parents are still allowed scheduled visits with their granddaughter, but their son most be monitored at all times when in the presence of his child.

We’re not sure of the status right now when it comes to Lind’s second daughter, a young girl named Paislee, who he procreated along with ex-girlfriend Taylor Halbut.

She has said in the past that Lind was rarely on time with his child support payments.

This is also not surprising.

Meanwhile, Houska has a career to worry about these days.

With Briana DeJesus and Kailyn Lowry hurling shade back and forth and allegedly getting into a fight during a recent reunion taping, this veteran reality star has threatened to leave Teen Mom 2 altogether.

Chelsa says the cast-on-cast violence is just getting to be too much for her.

Can you blame her if she really does quit the show?

After dealing with Lind for all this time, Houska must be ever so sick and tired of all the drama.

Adam Lind to Chelsea Houska: You Can"t Keep Me Away From Aubree!

The Teen Mom landscape is absolutely littered with young men who have outlived their purpose as unwitting sperm donors.

But for all the franchise’s deadbeat dads and loser boyfriends, perhaps no one has sunk to such appalling depths as Adam Lind.

(And yes we’re aware that Ryan Edwards got arrested the same week he got caught cheating on his pregnant wife. Believe it or not, Lind might actually be worse.)

Lind has always been an abusive boyfriend and a negligent father, but it’s only over the course of the past year that we learned just how low he’s willing to sink.

It all began when Lind tested positive for meth just moments before a scheduled visit with his youngest daughter, Paislee.

In the months that followed Lind was arrested several times, on charges ranging from domestic assault to possession to violating a restraining order.

These days Lind has lost all visitation rights and is not legally permitted to be in the presence of either of his daughters.

But it seems his casual disregard for the law continues unabated, as Radar Online is reporting this week that Lind spent much of Easter weekend with Aubree, his eight-year-old daughter by Chelsea Houska.

Sources say Houska was not aware of the situation until afterward and would not have given Lind permission to visit Aubree.

“Chelsea let his parents have her for a couple of hours. It wasn’t their time to have her,” a source tells Radar.

Adam apparently stopped by his parents’ house unannounced and even went so far as to taunt Chelsea by posting a Snapchat video in which he’s seen hanging out with Aubree.

Houska has apparently made it clear to Linds’ parents that by allowing their son to violate the law in their home, they’ve sacrificed the privilege of receiving future visits from their granddaughter:

“[Chelsea is] livid and won’t do that anymore. These grandparents haven’t learned a damn thing. [One] can definitely tell where Adam gets the rules and law don’t apply to him attitude.”

The insider says that Houska took immediate action and “e-mailed her lawyer to find out what the next step should be” as soon as she learned of Lind’s visit with Aubree.

Her attorneys have since reminded Adam’s parents of a clause in their visitation agreement, which reads:

“One weekend a month Aubree will be with his parents from Friday to Sunday. Adam may not be present when Aubree is with Donna [Adam’s mom].”

Stripping Linds’ parents of visitation rights may sound severe, but Chelsea is no doubt well aware that her daughter’s health and safety hang in the balance.

For the most part, Houska is one of the more even-tempered moms on MTV’s flagship reality franchise.

But clearly, if you mess with her kids, she will go full mama bear on your ass.

Adam Lind: Will He Ever See His Daughters Again?!

The Teen Mom franchise has seen plenty of awful parents, but it’s possible that Adam Lind is the very worst of the bunch.

Last we checked in on Chelsea Houska’s ex, a warrant had been issued for Lind’s arrest in response to various probation violations and a persistent refusal to pay child support.

As far as we know, Adam is not in jail, but you wouldn’t know it based on his relationships with his children.

Sources say Lind currently has no contact with either of his two daughters.

Restrictions on his custody rights necessitate that Lind spend time with his daughters either at an approved visitation center or at his parents’ house.

“One weekend a month, Aubree will be with his parents from Friday to Sunday,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.

During Aubree’s time at his parents, Lind can come and go freely and spend as much time with his daughter as he wants.

Apparently, he has not availed himself of the opportunity in over a month.

He can also spend time with Aubree at a supervised visitation center, but he would need to set up an appointment through the court.

And he reportedly has yet to do so even once.

“Adam has not taken the initiative to set up a visit with her yet,” says the insider.

The source says the situation is even worse with Paislee, Adam’s daughter with Taylor Halbur.

He reportedly has not seen the 4-year-old “since August.”

Fans chastised Lind for his absence at Aubree’s recent father-daughter dance, but the source says that situation is actually not Adam’s fault, as he’s not allowed to visit his daughters at their schools.

“He’s only allowed to see her at the visitation center,” says the tipster.

Fortunately, Chelsea’s husband, Cole De Boer, was able to attend the dance with Aubree.

The warrant for his arrest is the latest in a long line of legal troubles that began when Lind tested positive for methamphetamines just before a scheduled visit with Paislee.

His daughters may have dodged a bullet.

"Teen Mom 2" Star Adam Lind Wanted for Failure to Pay Child Support

Adam Lind: Warrant Issued For the Arrest of Chelsea Houska"s Ex!

Adam Lind is in deep trouble, even by Adam Lind standards.

Lind was arrested for domestic assault back in November, and that brush with the law seems to have set Chelsea Houska’s first baby daddy into a downward spiral that will likely have him serving hard time in the near future.

Shortly after that first incident, Lind was arrested again, this time for violating a restraining order against a second ex.

Needless to say, none of this did him any favors in his two simultaneous custody battles, particularly after it was revealed that Lind tested positive for meth just minutes before a scheduled visit with his youngest daughter.

For obvious reasons, Chelsea Houska was awarded sole custody of her daughter Aubree, a move she’s no doubt very happy about in the wake of recent developments in the life of Outlaw Lind.

According to Radar Online, a warrant has been issued for Lind’s arrest in response to his deadbeat ways:

“He has a warrant out for his arrest for being behind on child support,” a spokesperson for the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office in tells Radar.

“The warrant is for $ 2,025.”

Houska obviously makes much more money than Lind, who’s earninds probably hover near the zero range, so not surprisingly, the payments are owed to his second baby mama, Taylor Halbur:

“He owes her over $ 16,000 in child support,” a source tells Radar.

“Petitioner Lind was ordered to pay child support for Paislee Lind $ 500 per month,” the sheriff’s office spokesman confirms.

One insider adds that Lind has not only failed to pay child support, he’s also made no effort to spend time with his daughters.

“He hasn’t seen Paislee since August,” the source claims.

“He doesn’t call or check in. She doesn’t even see his family.”

It’s not illegal to be an absentee father, but it is strange that Lind has been battling both of his exes for custody and visitation rights, even though he seems to have little interest in being involved in his daughters’ lives.

“He has the potential to be a good dad when there aren’t obstacles in his way,” the source says in Lind’s defense.

“At the end of the day all that matters though is his actions and his effort and it’s just not there. He only works on his cars and sleeps a lot.”

We’ll believe that bit about his potential when we see it.

In the meantime, expect Lind to be taken into custody sometime very soon.

Watch Teen Mom 2 online to remind yourself of just how big of a bullet Chelsea dodged.

Chelsea Houska Obtains Sole Custody of Daughter Following Adam Lind Arrests

More bad news for the worst baby daddy in the Teen Mom franchise!

As you may have heard, Adam Lind has been arrested several times in the past few months in connection with a number of troubling incidents.

Chelsea Houska’s baby daddy stands accused of multiple acts of stalking, harassment, and domestic violence.

Needless to say, many fans have been curious as to what steps Chelsea is taking to protect 8-year-old Aubree, particularly following an incident in which Lind tested positive for methamphetamines just minutes before a scheduled visit with his other daughter from a different relationship.

The situation put Chelsea in a difficult position, as she hoped to protect her daughter, while at the same time allowing Aubree to maintain a close relationship with her father.

At first, she took steps to ensure Aubree’s safety–such as asking a judge to forbid Lind from driving with Aubree in the car–but did not request further limitations on Lind’s visitation and custody rights.

Now, it appears Chelsea has had a change of heart and decided that it’s simply not safe for Aubree to spend any time with Lind until he sobers up and gets his affairs in order.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online Lind will no longer be permitted to interact with Aubree, those his parents will still be allowed scheduled visits with their granddaughter.

“One weekend a month Aubree will be with his parents from Friday to Sunday. Adam may not be present when Aubree is with Donna,” reads a court document obtained by Radar Online.

The document states that Lind’s mother will also be permitted to have lunch with Aubree at her school every Tuesday.

The news comes on the heels of Chelsea’s decision to change Aubree’s name, reflecting both mother and daughter’s belief that Lind is no longer the central father figure in the girl’s life.

“Aubree is now Lind-DeBoer,” a previous court document states.

Those familiar with the case say acted Chelsea out of concern for her daughter’s safety.

The mother of two was said to be holding out hope that Lind would change his ways, but has now realized he’s making no effort to improve his behavior.

“He has the potential to be a good dad when there aren’t obstacles in his way,” a source tells Radar Online.

“At the end of the day all that matters though is his actions and his effort and it’s just not there. He only works on his cars and sleeps a lot.”

Chelsea Houska Changes Daughter"s Name, Visitation Schedule with Adam Lind

One of the most adorable kids in the entire Teen Mom universe has got to be Aubree Lind, right?!

(Actually, we don’t feel comfortable ranking the adorableness of the kids, because they are all as precious as can be, but let’s just go with it.)

Aubree is smart, sassy, funny, and so very, very cute. She’s a great big sister to Watson, and it’s clear from watching Teen Mom 2 that she’s a super sweet kid.

But there’s one thing that she’s not these days …

And that’s a Lind.

Yep, after years of talking about it, Chelsea Houska has finally made it happen: she’s gone to court to change Aubree’s name!

Last month, we discussed how Chelsea and Adam had a court date to go over the name change and a new visitation schedule, and that date was last week.

According to a new report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, the judge agreed to the name change, and now Aubree’s last name has gone from Lind to Lind-DeBoer.

As for the visitation issue … well, that’s a little more complicated.

If you’ve been keeping up with Adam for the past year or so, ever since he officially quit filming for Teen Mom 2, you know that things haven’t been that great for him.

Back in the spring, he failed a court-ordered drug test after having been found with a “substantial” amount of meth in his system.

The drug test was done shortly before a scheduled weekend with his youngest daughter, Paislee — meaning that he very well could have been high around his kids.

In addition to the drugs, Adam’s been arrested multiple times on domestic violence charges in the past few months.

His ex-girlfriend has even said that he’s not only been violent towards others — he’s also threatened to kill himself more than once.

He’s obviously not doing well in any sense, right?

Still, according to his agreement with Chelsea, he got visits with Aubree every other weekend. The visits took place at his parents’ home, where they supervised.

Yeah, as of this latest court date, that’s not happening anymore.

Now, Adam will only be allowed to see Aubree at an actual visitation center. She’ll still go see his parents, but it’ll only be once a month.

Adam will not be permitted to be around for those visits.

A source claims that “Adam’s parents were not happy about the changes made,” and that “they are very upset.”

Which is weird, because you’d think they’d be upset about their son being a violent meth addict, not about the court doing something to protect their granddaughter from that.

It seems that even Adam himself wasn’t all that upset about the new changes. He reportedly agreed to everything without anyone even having to testify.

And if you’d be curious to see an Adam who’s actually easy to deal with, don’t worry — MTV cameras were there in the courtroom.

The source says that “This was the first time Chelsea and members of the production crew have seen Adam in a long time, and they were shocked by his appearance.”

“He has lost a lot of weight, and appeared pale with dark circles under his eyes. He did not look like he’s in a good place.”

Apparently Adam didn’t hang around after the hearing at all, but during the hearing, “He told the judge that he currently has no job and hasn’t worked anywhere in a year.”

“He also confirmed that he has no vehicle.”

While it’s upsetting to see Adam in such a terrible place, it’s wonderful that Chelsea has taken these steps to protect Aubree, and to make her happy.

Also, it looks like the next season of Teen Mom 2 is shaping up to be pretty darn juicy …

Adam Lind: Buddy Arrested for Meth

Literally just yesterday, we talked about how Jennelle Evans’ ex Kieffer Delp was arrested for running a meth lab

Today, we’re once again talking about a man who runs in Teen Mom circles … and, in the same breath, we’re talking about meth. And getting arrested.

This time, it’s a friend of Adam Lind’s. In fact, the two are such good buddies that this guy appeared on Teen Mom 2.

Adam Lind testing positive for methamphetamines right before a scheduled visit with the child that he and Chelsea Houska share hasn’t done anything to clear his reputation of being a bit of a meth head.

It doesn’t help that Lind’s arrest for assault actually involved four charges of domestic assault and allegations that he was out of his mind on drugs during his alleged  domestic violence.

At the very least, the guy’s a mess. And based upon the charges and allegations against him, he’s a menace.

Everyone understands why Chelsea Houska moved to strip Lind of his visitation rights. When it comes to children, a child’s safety must always trump parental wishes.

Even if Adam totally manages to get clean and, you know, non-violent, he still might not be a safe person for Aubree to be around.

Because of the company that he keeps.

Justin Anderson has appeared on Teen Mom 2 more than once, thanks to his friendship with Chelsea Houska’s baby daddy, Adam Lind.

And now, Justin Anderson has been arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for possession or use of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest took place on Wednesday, January 10th. At the time, Anderson was already on parole for different drug charges.

A spokesperson for the Minnehaha County Jail told RadarOnline:

“Anderson remains in prison with no bond.”

Well, yeah. Drug possession isn’t the worst thing in the world, but if you’re on parole for drugs and you still can’t resist meth … that’s worrisome. Also, not a great idea, since your parole can be revoked at any time.

“His parole officer put a hold on him for breaking his parole.”

Yep.

“It is the parole officer’s decision on when he’ll be released.”

Justin Anderson was caught by, basically, having bad luck. And perhaps for having some terrible associations.

(And we don’t just mean Adam Lind)

See, police were serving a search warrant on a suspect in a double homicide.

And by “serving a search warrant,” we mean that SWAT was involved. We don’t know if they actually knocked before raiding the place.

They did not find the suspected killer. They did find Justin Anderson and, allegedly, Anderson’s meth.

Aside from the fact that this comes right on the heels of Jenelle Evans’ ex getting arrested for running a meth lab …

(If there’s such a thing as bad press for Teen Mom, this surely would be it, right?)

… What, you might ask, does this have to do with Adam Lind?

It’s simple. Even if Adam Lind can drop drugs and steroids and drinking and violence altogether, if he keeps associating with people like Justin Anderson, it’s very understandable for Chelsea Houska (and anyone worried about the safety of children) to have concerns about little Aubree’s well-being.

Does Adam want to be a parent, or do you want to be a ‘roided out meth head with meth head buddies?

This should be an easy choice.
