Apollo Nida to Phaedra Parks: Tear Up Our Prenup! Gimme Some Loot!

Every reality series thrives on drama, and Real Housewives is no exception.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is getting her share of drama … but it’s of the courtroom variety.

That doesn’t always translate well to reality TV’s ever-present cameras, especially when one of the parties is behind bars.

But legal drama is always a treat to follow.

Even if we don’t know how much of this can make it onto the small screen.

Apollo Nida and Phaedra have a prenup, but we can get to that in a moment because that is its own thing.

So, just a few days before the couple got married back in 2009, Apollo and Phaedra signed a prenup. Apparently, in addition to an agreement on how to divide their shared property, the prenup specified that neither of them would receive alimony in the event of a divorce.

Sounds simple, right?

We don’t have the luxury of looking over their detailed financial histories, but it stands to reason that, when they got married, Apollo was confident that he’d be the one paying alimony if the two of them ever split.

The guy’s in prison for money fraud, so he probably believed all sorts of things about wealth.

As it turns out, crime doesn’t always pay. Who knew?

Well, now TMZ reports that Apollo Nida wants his and Phaedra’s prenup voided. Because of course he does.

It sounds like Apollo legal troubles — to put it mildly — have adversely impacted his finances, and like he’s hoping to be supported by his ex, Phaedra.

It wasn’t long at all after their marriage that Phaedra was cast on RHOA, and that must have turned their financial situation on its head in the best way.

Except, of course, Phaedra’s not interested. Just because she became the breadwinner while his life collapsed doesn’t mean that she owes him a thing, and she wants the prenup upheld.

Obviously.

We have to talk about prenups themselves, though.

Sometimes they’re a great idea — to prevent, like, nightmare universe versions of Cinderella from marrying rich and then filing for divorce in a quick grab for half of somebody’s assets.

They’re usually assumed to be legal tools to “protect” husbands from manipulative femme fatales, but that’s because men are generally valued by their success while women are in so many cases still valued by their looks.

Isn’t sexism fun?

But it looks like those sexist stereotypes and how they must have influenced his own assumptions are coming back to bite Apollo Nida in the you-know-where, because Phaedra’s the one rolling in dough.

There’s no sure way to know how this case is going to end — there’s some extra drama around Phaedra spelling Apollo’s name wrong on the prenup, so for the first time ever, your kindergarten teacher’s insistence that correct spelling matters is actually sounding kinda real.

But it seems to us that a prenup is a binding contract. Unless it was made under duress or false pretenses, and it doesn’t sound like either of those were the case, shouldn’t it be every bit as ironclad as Phaedra believes it to be?

Legal cases can surprise you, though. We may never know the whole story with this messy pair of exes.

Maybe if Apollo had spent less time on money fraud and more time working on his relationship with his wife, he wouldn’t need a court battle to enjoy some of her wealth.

Safaree Samuels Sues Nicki Minaj: Gimme the LOOT!

Nicki Minaj is about to get sued by her former longtime boyfriend, alleged rapper Safaree Samuels, and he’s gunning for some major loot.

Why does he think he has any kind of claim to it?

As the biggest female name in the rap game, Nicki has made a fortune from albums The Pink Print, Pink Friday and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

A fortune Samuels feels she should share.

Samuels believes he was integrally involved in Minaj’s work, and hugely influential in shaping who she is today, and he plans to make a legal case.

From videos of them working, voice memos from recording sessions, hours of footage from studio sessions, and witnesses, he cites evidence galore.

Safaree Samuels believes this is already acknowledged by Minaj, albeit implicitly, by her giving him executive producer credit on her first two albums.

Sources say Safaree feels Minaj treated him like an employee, then cast him aside without due compensation, and that his lawsuit is “imminent.”

He also wants a cut of singles including “Only” featuring Chris Brown, Drizzy and Weezy, “Flawless” with Beyonce and “Feeling Myself” with Bey.

Nicki has yet to respond to the allegations.

Ryan Sweeting to Kaley Cuoco: Gimme Some LOOT Baby!

Ryan Sweeting has responded to Kaley Cuoco’s divorce filing, and in court papers, he seeks spousal support from his famous, soon-to-be ex-wife.

Sweeting, who was married to the actress for a whole 21 months before they called it off, cites the generic “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.

The documents show that Ryan wants spousal support and to terminate the court’s ability to award support to Kaley, who may take issue with that.

In her papers, Kaley stated spousal support was payable and terminable as set forth from the duo’s prenuptial agreement, which they signed in 2013.

Ryan is also asking Kaley to pay for his legal fees, something The Big Bang Theory beauty listed would be paid by both parties, per their prenup.

“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,” Cuoco’s rep said last month. “They ask for privacy at this time.”

“No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”

Cuoco recently took to social media to shoot down reports that her marriage failed because she “never got over” her love for co-star Johnny Galecki.

Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki dating rumors hit the web hard and fast almost as soon as the ink was dry on her divorce filing. But they’re just that:

Rumors.

“So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here,” she captioned a black and white photo fist bumping Galecki on Instagram.

“Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds,” added the 29-year-old. “Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!”

Oh well.

Hayden Panettiere -- Shelling Out Loot for Both Parents During Divorce War

Z STAFF

EXCLUSIVE

0910_hayden_Panettiere_parents_gettyHayden Panettiere is a dream daughter, helping both her mom and dad who are locked in a bitter divorce fight … seemingly without taking sides.

Hayden’s mom says she’s virtually destitute with no place to live in L.A., and were it not for the generosity of her daughter she could be homeless. Lesley Panettiere claims in legal docs her estranged husband Alan has paid her only 4 months worth of spousal support since 2012.

Lesley says Hayden is letting her stay in the actress’ West Hollywood condo for free, until she can get back on her feet.

But Hayden’s generosity doesn’t stop there. According to the docs, Hayden gave Alan a $ 100,000 gift just this year.

Lesley was making money by managing Hayden when she was a minor, but when she turned 18 she got a professional agency. That left Lesley without work, though she’s trying to become a producer.

Lesley and Alan have a difficult past. In 2008 Alan was criminally charged with misdemeanor battery for striking Lesley in the face. He pled no contest.
