Hayden Panettiere: Friends Blame Her Boozing on Loser Boyfriend
Last month, we reported on the sad news that Hayden Panettiere has been drinking so heavily that family and friends are worried she’s putting her life in danger.
The latest reports about the actress not only confirm that she’s been partying hard in recent months, but also reveal the presence of a troubling new figure in her life.
According to Radar Online, Hayden is in a serious relationship with 34-year-old actor Brian Hickerson.
Friends and family first became concerned when Hickerson was photographed standing next to Panettiere while the actress was vomiting over a railing during a wild night out.
They became even more worried when he “joked” on Instagram about stealing Hayden’s credit card out of her wallet while she’s sleeping.
“They are deeply concerned,” says one insider, referring to Hayden’s family and friends.
“They do not approve. They are hoping that this is something that she is going to evolve from.”
The source adds that Hayden has been charmed by Hickerson and doesn’t see that she’s being taken for a ride by a skilled conman.
“A relationship isn’t helpful for either of them. He’s funny and charming and good-looking, but he’s not bringing out the best in her,” the source adds.
“Sometimes we all do what makes sense for the moment. And let’s hope that is what it is – a moment.”
The insider goes on to say that Hayden went through a difficult time just before meeting Hickerson, which made her especially vulnerable.
“She’s come through a lot of things, she’s been on hit shows, lived in a town that she fell out of love with and that was a difficult pocket of time, and she wanted to leave Nashville sooner,” added the source.
“The cumulative effect probably makes her feel now that she wants to take a break, enjoy life, have fun, and have some laughs.”
Adding to her stress is the fact that Hayden is a mom, but her daughter Kaya currently lives in Ukraine with her father.
Speaking with Radar, Hayden’s mother confirmed that she is wary of Hayden’s relationship but downplayed concerns about the actress’ drinking.
“You just never know what people want,” Lesley Vogel told the outlet.
“You don’t know if you can trust anyone. I don’t trust his intentions. People can use her.”
We wish Hayden all the best during this difficult time.

Hayden Panettiere: Still Engaged, Despite Missing Ring
Everyone relax. She’s still in love.
On July 5th, Hayden Panettiere was spotted in New York sans engagement ring.
Of course, everyone and their mother assumed that she had called off her engagement to Russian boxer Wladimir Klitschko, with whom she has an 18-month-old daughter, Kaya.
Today, Panettiere put those rumors to rest on Twitter.
“Missing rings don’t mean the end of relationships,” she wrote, adding a black-and-white photo with Klitschko and Kaya.
“Blessed to be with my beautiful family.”
Panettiere recently finished holistic treatment for postpartum depression. She first sought professional help back in October and spoke openly about it on Live! With Kelly and Michael.
“It’s something a lot of women experience,” the Nashville star explained.
“When [you’re told] about postpartum depression you think it’s ‘I feel negative feelings towards my child, I want to injure or hurt my child.’ I’ve never, ever had those feelings.
“Some women do. But you don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.”
In a way, Panettiere has become sort of an unofficial spokeswoman for Pospartum Depression education.
“There’s a lot of misunderstanding. There’s a lot of people out there that think that it’s not real, that it’s not true,” Panettiere said.
“That it’s something that’s made up in their minds, that, ‘Oh, it’s hormones.’ They brush it off.
“It’s something that’s completely uncontrollable. It’s really painful and it’s really scary and women need a lot of support.”
Panettiere is still ready to have more babies with Klitschko, 40.
She’s referred to both the boxer and the daughter as the loves of her life, and hasn’t let PPD hijack her happiness.
And for those who question PPD, Panettiere has this to say:
“If you think for one second that a mother wants to feel that way toward her child, you’re outta your mind. It is one of the most debilitating, scary, guilty feelings that you can ever feel.”

Hayden Panettiere Seen Without Engagement Ring: Is She Single?
She sought treatment for post-partum depression a second time in May, and judging from yesterday’s photo, Hayden Panettiere has made some changes.
The most obvious? A bare left hand that was missing a six-carat engagement ring.
Panettiere, 26, was photographed in New York City on July 5th in a plaid shirt and blue leggings.
According to People Magazine, the Nashville star was sitting on a stoop and smoking a cigarette while reading Underboss: Sammy The Bull Gravano’s Story of Life in the Mafia.
Panettiere’s fiance, Russian boxer Wladimir Klitschko was not present, nor was their 18-month old daughter, Kyra.
Back in October 2015, Panetierre sought professional help for post-partum depression.
She sought treatment again in May, updating fans with this tweet:
“The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life,” she wrote.
“Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life.”
Panettiere and Klitschko, 40, started dating in 2009, but broke up in 2011 before reuniting in 2013.
During a beach vacation in March, Panettiere referred to both the boxer and her daughter as the “loves” of her “life.”
The actress has been open about her struggle with post-partum.
“I’m really happy that I can stand up for the women who are out there suffering from this and let them know it’s okay,” Panettiere told People back in January.
“They’re not alone. It doesn’t mean they’re weak. It doesn’t mean they’re a bad mom. It doesn’t mean they’re strange.
“They can get help if they need it, and that’s okay.”
Panettiere admitted keeping it to herself was unhealthy.
“Honestly, when I said [I had PPD] the first time on Kelly and Michael I didn’t plan on it,” she says.
“We talked about it for a second, but it was just like a conversation, and I was like, ‘Why should I be ashamed or hide when it costs so much?’ It costs me so much to hide.
“It costs you so much to lie.”

Hayden Panettiere Enters Rehab for Postpartum Depression
Hayden Panettiere is seeking treatment once again for her longstanding struggle with postpartum depression.
On Thursday, the actress took to Twitter to inform fans that she’ll be taking time off to deal with the issue.
“The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life,” she wrote.
“Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life. Wish me luck!”
Sources told Us Weekly the Nashville star is seeking treatment in Utah.
Panettiere welcomed daughter Kaya with fiance Wladimir Klitschko in December 2014 and suffered from depression in the months following.
Last October, she sought help at an inpatient treatment center and her condition improved for a time, but as is common with depression, she relapsed.
She has been open about her battle with postpartum, hoping to destigmatize the disorder that affects so many women.
“You don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on,” Hayden said during an interview on Live! With Kelly & Michael.
“It’s something that needs to be talked about,” she continued.
“Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.”
In March, Panettiere shared a sweet photo of her fiance with her daughter on the beach:
“The loves of my life,” she tweeted, along with a red heart emoji.
We’re sending Hayden and her family good vibes in her journey toward recovery.

Hayden Panettiere Enters Treatment for Postpartum Depression
Back in December Hayden Panettiere welcomed a baby girl.
It was the first child for both Hayden and her boxer fiance, Wladimir Klitschko, and the couple gushed with pride as they shared the first photos of baby Kaya.
Unfortunately, it now seems that Hayden;s well-publicized struggles with postpartum depression have shown no sign of relenting, and sources confirm she recently decided to check into an in-patient therapy center to receive treatment.
“Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression,” says a statement issued by reps for the actress.
“She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time.”
Hayden has been remarkably candid about the emotional difficulties she endured in the months following her daughter’s birth:
“You don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on,” Hayden said during a recent appearance on Live! With Kelly & Michael. “It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.”
In recent weeks, it looked as though Panetierre was beginning to overcome her depression, as she frequently posted upbeat tweets, such as, “I feel like I’m finally coming into my own body!”
Sadly, as anyone who’s life has been touched by depression knows, and upswing can be followed by an abrupt downturn.
Interestingly, Hayden’s character on the ABC series Nashville also suffers from postpartum depression. Panettiere has stated that she drew from personal experience in depicting her characters emotional struggles.

Hayden Panettiere -- Shelling Out Loot for Both Parents During Divorce War
Z STAFF
Hayden Panettiere is a dream daughter, helping both her mom and dad who are locked in a bitter divorce fight … seemingly without taking sides.
Hayden’s mom says she’s virtually destitute with no place to live in L.A., and were it not for the generosity of her daughter she could be homeless. Lesley Panettiere claims in legal docs her estranged husband Alan has paid her only 4 months worth of spousal support since 2012.
Lesley says Hayden is letting her stay in the actress’ West Hollywood condo for free, until she can get back on her feet.
But Hayden’s generosity doesn’t stop there. According to the docs, Hayden gave Alan a $ 100,000 gift just this year.
Lesley was making money by managing Hayden when she was a minor, but when she turned 18 she got a professional agency. That left Lesley without work, though she’s trying to become a producer.
Lesley and Alan have a difficult past. In 2008 Alan was criminally charged with misdemeanor battery for striking Lesley in the face. He pled no contest.
