Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie Welcome Baby Girl!
It’s a girl for Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie!
The Gotham co-stars announced last night that they had welcomed a bundle of joy with a mouthful of a name:
“Morena and Ben are so happy to welcome baby girl Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan on March 2,” reps confirmed to USA Today. “All are happy and healthy and appreciate the well-wishes.”
It’s the first child for McKenzie and the second for Baccarin, who has a son from her marriage to Austin Chick.
Interestingly, the characters played by McKenzie and Baccarin on Fox’s Batman prequel are also expecting a child.
Shortly after Baccarin announced her pregnancy back in September, she assured fans that the similarities between her character’s situation and her real-life relationship with McKenzie were “totally coincidental.”
They were already planning on doing that with (our) characters when I got pregnant. When I told them they were like, ‘Okay, great!’ and I was like, ‘What?’ It worked out perfectly,” Baccarin said in a recent interview.
In addition to Gotham, Baccarin also battled supervillains in the recent box office smash Deadpool, and she’s reportedly already signed on for a sequel.
Our congrats go out to the happy couple! Sounds like little Frances will grow up surrounded by quite the cast of characters.

Baccarin is in the middle of a nasty divorce with director Austin Chick. According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Baccarin says she got pregnant with Ben’s baby in June, which she claims was after she separated with Chick. The estranged husband begs to differ and says she got pregnant while they were still together.
Chick filed for divorce, and Morena has already planned her next move. In her legal docs, obtained by TMZ, she says, “Today, I am in a new committed relationship. I am planning to re-marry. Also, I am 3 1/2 months pregnant.”
Morena’s divorce is bitter. As we reported, Chick says he came to their house in June, only to find Ben freshly showered and playing with their 1-year-old son.
And Morena included texts in her docs to show how bad the situation is … she texted to Chick, “I’d like to be there alone with Julius [their son]. Please Friday all day and night through Sunday morning.”
He responded, “I’d like to run Fox Studios and remake The Sound of Music w an entirely black cast of hip hop artist.”
She tells the judge, “This entire situation is not funny to me.”

Gotham co-stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin have been hot and heavy in a very controversial relationship for a while, but now apparently they are going to take their relationship to the next level!

According to reports, Baccarin and McKenzie — who are now expecting a child together — are planning on getting married!
In court documents filed earlier this month, Baccarin, who was previously married to Austin Chick before abruptly asking for a divorce, wrote:
“Today, I am in a new committed relationship. I am planning to re-marry. Also, I am three-and-a-half months pregnant.”
Wow!! Chick, as you’d expect, has been completely leveled by the news, with an insider saying of his reaction to all of this:
“Austin was totally shocked when he found out about the affair. Totally blindsided. When Morena left him for Ben, Austin was devastated — completely shocked.”
No kidding.
What do U think — is a marriage at this point for Baccarin the right move, especially considering the child her and McKenzie are now expecting?? Or is it all too much, too soon?!

Has Gotham Star Morena Baccarin"s Baby Bump ALREADY Popped?! See The Telling Snap HERE!
Well that popped fast!
ICYMI: On Thursday, we reported that Morena Baccarin was pregnant with her Gotham co-star Ben McKenzie‘s baby!
In fact, even though the world just caught on to Borena (got to come up with a better couple name!) the brunette beauty was snapped while filming the hit FOX TV show in NYC with a relatively pronounced baby bump last week!

Though we have a feeling the starlet’s character on the show may be the one expecting since she was recently photographed at the 2015 Emmy Awards where she displayed a far less prominent belly. Hmm, very inneresting!
Things are a little tricky right now for the expectant parents, as Miz Baccarin is currently wrapped up in the middle of some divorce drama with her estranged husband Austin Chick.
“Men” (nope, going with Borena) didn’t even confirm their relationship until they debuted as a couple at the Emmys’ red carpet!
Currently, Morena is trying to get custody of her 23-month-old son Julius as she lives in the Big Apple and her ex is in El Lay — and obviously the bun in her oven will eventually prevent her from flying.

Still, the 36-year-old can’t be further along than her first trimester — so we have a feeling the Baccarin/McKenzie baby was conceived not long after the Homeland performer’s divorce paperwork was filed. Well, well!
Nonetheless, we wish only the best for Morena, Ben, and their unborn, inevitably gorgeous baby.
