Actor Jack Riley Dies; The Bob Newhart Show Star Was 80
Jack Riley, who played the loveable neurotic patient Elliot Carlin on The Bob Newhart Show and Stu Pickles on Rugrats, has passed away.
Riley’s wife, Ginger Lawrence confirmed to Deadline that the 80-year-old actor died of pneumonia and infection.
The couple met on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In in the 60s, where Lawrence worked as a producer’s assistant.
Riley also starred in several of Mel Brooks’ movies, including High Anxiety, Space Balls and History of the World, Part 1, as well as Boogie Night.
Riley was born in Cleveland, Ohio in December 1935. After serving in the U.S. Army, Riley started a career in radio, where he became quite popular in his home city.
In the ’60s, Riley moved to Los Angeles where he honed his comedic chops by writing and acting.
Riley was perhaps most famous for his role on The Bob Newhart show, in which his character was described as “neurotic, sour and selfish patient” Elliot Carlin.
Riley also guest-starred on popular shows of the past twenty years such as Seinfeld, Friends, and Night Court.
Many who grew up watching Rugrats on Nickelodeon will recognize Riley’s voice, since he played Tommy Pickles’ dad, Stu in 143 episodes of the iconic cartoon series.
Those in the entertainment industry who worked with Riley remembered the comedian fondly on Twitter.
“What a lovely man. Proud to have known him,” composer Steve Orich wrote.
“#RIP Actor Jack Riley, the eternally morose Elliot Carlin on ‘The Bob Newhart Show,” The Hollywood Reporter‘s Mike Barnes tweeted.
RIP, one of my favorite actors, Jack Riley. He was such a great person, nothing at all like the mean guy he played on he Bob Newhart Show,” actor Fred Stoller wrote.
“Group is cancelled today. Mr. Carlin is unavailable,” writer Bill Chuck tweeted. “The great Jack Riley has died at age 80.”
Soulja Boy Threatens to Murder Nia Riley: WATCH!
Soulja Boy has uploaded a rather disturbing video to the Internet.
In the following 10-second clip, the rapper seemingly calls out ex-girlfriend Nia Riley and her new boyfriend, threatening their lives while brandishing a gun.
We"re not making this up.
Says the rapper in this footage:
“Hey dude, f-ck you and f-ck Nia Riley. Stop playing with me for some shooters be outside your house.
"Kill you bitch and n-gger, stop playing with me.”
Sources seem to think Soulja Boy is directing this message at some dude named Skrill Dilly, who got into an exchange this week on Twitter with Riley.
Dilly pleaded innocent on his social media account, asking:
“Who is @NiaRiley. Never met her b4 but she’s gorgeous. I haven’t spoken to any media."
But Riley then fired back, not admitting to any kind of romance with Skrill Dilly, but Tweeting:
“You BEEN following me! Don’t be lame."
Soulja Boy and Nia Riley"s relationship was featured prominently on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood in 2014.
According to the Jasmine Brand, Soulja Boy and Nia have been going back and forth on social media ever since she posted a meme saying that she was “halfway into another relationship.
With Skrill Dilly?
He dared to address Soulja Boy recently on Twitter, writing:
“@souljaboy gon quit playin with my f-cking people @NiaRiley. He know wtf is real out here.”
Soulja Boy responded to the post telling Skrill Dilly that he would “kill” him.
The tweets were eventually deleted, but this video is now making the rounds on the Web.
It"s worth mentioning that Soulja Boy is on probation for weapons charges. He was arrested for gun possession in early 2014.
The guy is not very smart.

Amber Riley TELLS OFF Fat-Shamers While High on Meds: WATCH!
Whatever Amber Riley"s on, we want some.
After undergoing oral surgery, Riley took to Instagram and totally went off on anyone who might think to body-shame her, and she does NOT hold back.
"You know, there are just some things which my sober mind keeps me from sharing," she starts.
"That ends tonight. I"ve got some things I need to get off my chest."
DO IT, GIRL.
"Why does me being fat offend so many people?" she continued. "Is it because I"m confident and I"m fly and I"m sexy?"
"Do my thighs offend? Does my stomach offend? Does my big, juicy ass offend? Why?! Why?!"
Good question.
The Glee actress goes on to say she doesn"t discriminate, so why should you?
"Let my big ass live. I let you all live. I love all colors, shapes and sizes," she reasoned. "So, just so you know, when you come on here and you call me fat, it"s not an insult, dummy."
"My ass is fat, and the fellas love it. And so do I. So eat it."
Oh, hell yeah! Eat it, indeed, dummies.
The actress shared several more funny videos of herself, capping it off with a good night message saying she was having some fun.
"I wasn"t joking about the meds, though. I really am high," she admitted.
Riley"s not the only celeb to lay into body shamers in the past couple weeks.
Model Tess Holliday shared a nude pregnancy pic and told haters to STFU about her physique.
"What I"ve had to be learn to be okay with (WHICH IS NOT COOL) is the fact that people still think it"s okay to comment on my body," she wrote.
Riley and Holliday join a number of fed-up celebs who have spoken out against body shaming, including Demi Lovato, Ashley Graham, Melissa McCarthy and Blac Chyna.

Tom Hardy & Charlotte Riley Welcome First Child Together!
For an actor with a string of blockbusters under his belt and an army of obsessive female fans watching his every move, Tom Hardy has demonstrated a remarkable knack for keeping his private life private.
Hardy married Charlotte Riley last year, but we only found out about it a few months after the fact.
Now, it seems Tom and Charlotte have welcomed a baby – and not surprisingly, they’re keeping all the details to themselves.
Forget about a name and photograph; we don’t even know if the kid is a boy or a girl!
We do know that it’s the first child for Riley and the second for Hardy, who has a 7-year-old son from his previous marriage.
We’re sure Tom will be forced to answer questions about his new offspring in the near future, as he’s gearing up to do press for The Revenant, his heavily-hyped awards season contender co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Birdman auteur Alejandro Inarittu.
Yes, it seems that Tom has a good deal on his plate these days.
We just hope his new marriage, new baby and first real shot at an oscar nomination won’t distract the dude from doing what he does best: lip-syncing to pop hits on Instagram.
