Grey"s Anatomy Season 14 Episode 12 Recap: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Who won the surgical competition?
That was the big question on Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 Episode 12, as the doctors inside Grey Sloan Memorial went out of their way to level the playing field and emerge with a win.
If you watch Grey’s Anatomy online, you will know that April has been struggling to keep the faith after three of her patients died in one day.
This has resulted in viewers getting to see a different side of the character, and it’s obvious she does not care about the way people view her any longer.
This new April has been sleeping with an intern, and even struggled to find a way to deal with the all of the doctors who showed up late to the big meeting.
“Good God, I’ve created a monster,” Webber said as he realized the severity of what April was going through. Maybe he should have dealt with the competition on his own instead of delegating his tasks.
April was not the only one struggling with losing patients. Arizona’s heart was also feeling heavy, and it sent her back to her ex-girlfriend, Carina DeLuca.
Arizona wanted to find a way to reduce mothers dying during and after childbirth, and given Carina’s experience, she asked her to partner with her for the contest.
Carina accepted, and the two women wound up making out later in the episode. They are a breath of fresh air.
Then there was Bailey, who was still coming to terms with her ordeal at the hands of downright terrible doctors on Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 Episode 11.
While she was under strict orders to rest up, she tasked Levi with bringing her things from the hospital to conduct a study of her own.
However, the intern was not allowed to tell anybody about it because Ben and everyone in the hospital wanted her to recuperate following her ordeal.
“What happens here, stays here. No one needs to know what we do in this room,” Bailey said to Levi.
The intern thought Miranda was coming on to him and you could tell he felt strange about everything. Yeah, keep dreaming, Levi.
Finally, Jo Wilson was feeling happy because she could enter the competition with Meredith and not worry about her name being featured in the press.
This was a big contrast from earlier in the season when Meredith had to keep Jo’s name and picture out of the paper because she was living in fear that Paul was going to return.
Thankfully, Paul is gone, and he will never harm her again.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 1 Recap: Stronger Than Ever
Over the last few years, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has gotten a bit long in the tooth. The arguments have revolved around the silliest of things, and it’s been a chore to watch.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 1 was all about fresh starts, and it appeared that all of the women were intent on moving on from the convoluted drama. That’s not to say the developments were all that exciting.
There was a new housewife. Her name is Teddi Mellencamp, and she seemed a little subdued in all of her scenes. Maybe she had the jitters because these were her first days of filming, but it looks like all she wants to do is chant that she may have money, but she does not act as though she was born into it.
While that may be a good thing to do, she came across as very unlikable, and that’s not a good first impression to get from one of the newer additions to the cast. Time will tell whether she can emerge with some storylines that will change things up for her.
The ladies were all building towards a birthday event in Las Vegas, but that meant Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi and Dorit Kemsley were all going to need to be in the same vicinity, and that’s not happened in a long time.
If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online, you will know that they have been against each other in the past, so it was always going to be a tough move.
Lisa Vanderpump invited Teddi along in one of the most contrived scenes of the series to date. Would it be out of the realm of possibility that the producers only added her to the cast because it was her birthday and it would be the perfect opportunity to introduce her on the Vegas trip?
Dorit was apprehensive about going along on the trip because of everything that transpired between the ladies. PK, surprisingly, managed to keep his mouth shut about the women.
His mouth got him in a lot of trouble during the most recent reunion, so we can’t blame him. The first meeting between Erika and Dorit in the departure lounge of the airport was a complete and utter dud.
The promos implied they were going to be icy as hell to one another, but they were actually very close. Did they not get the memo that they are supposed to create a whole lot of drama for the viewers?
Lisa Rinna was nowhere to be seen, and everyone thought the was a no-show. This was music to Dorit’s ears who did not want her around. Her smile quickly turned to anguish when Lisa Rinna announced she would be joining them later that day.
Also strange: Camille Grammer was back hanging around with the ladies and even accompanied them to Las Vegas. Who would have thought she would ever return to hang around with the ladies?
It all seems a little too convenient, but the drama failed to pick up in Las Vegas and the episode closed with Lisa Rinna walking in the room and Dorit looking like she wanted to jump through the window to make a quick getaway.
The only remotely interesting thing was that Kyle admitted Harry Hamlin told her she had to get Kim away from the group of ladies after throwing the gift at Lisa Rinna during the reunion show.
The episode was not that great. There needs to be some more new cast members, and some of the others need to make way for them. The show is running on fumes at this stage, and that’s not a good way to start the season.
No amount of high fashion is going to save it. These women have simply run their course, and unless they find a way to right the ship, there’s a possibility the series could cease to exist in the next few years.
What did you think of the opener? Are you tired of these ladies?

Scheana Marie: My Split From Mike Shay Has Made Me Stronger!
A new season of Vanderpump Rules is upon us, and while we"re sure to see plenty of new beefs and breakups among the staff at SUR, at least one cast member has been enjoying a steady upswing in recent months.
After enduring a painful divorce from Mike Shay, Scheana Marie has moved on and found love again with actor Robert Valletta.
Those who know her best say they"ve never seen Scheana happier, and they claim this new relationship couldn"t be more different from her short-lived marriage.
But while Scheana is understandably eager to leave the past in the past, she"s also admirably candid in discussing the ways in which she"s been changed and strengthened by the struggles that brought her to where she is today:
1. The Newcomer
2. Scheana and Shay
3. A Memorable Wedding
4. A Secret Addiction
5. Toughing It Out
6. An Example to Others

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 1 Recap: Stronger Together
Returning to the airwaves after what seems like an eternity The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 1 featured familiar faces.
The long awaited premiere also revealed a new house guest of Lisa Vanderpump’s — one with a strong celebrity connection, no less.
Who could that be?!
If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online, you know there’s no shortage of star power with this posh crew from the 90210.
However, lots of people were calling the first episode of the brand-new season a snooze-fest, and a slow starter.
When you’re on RHOBH, you’re supposed to crank up the drama to at least 14 — and this is one of the many reasons we miss Brandi Glanville so much.
This season introduced new cast member, Dorit Kemsley, who hails from both New York and London, along with her husband, Paul Kemsley.
Dorit and her husband, randomly, live with Brit sensation, Boy George, and to be honest, bringing BG onto the show — Boy George, that is; not Brandi Glanville — would make things a lot more interesting.
The lovely Yolanda Foster is also gone from the show, and to be honest, it didn’t look like the other Housewives were mourning her absence too hard.
Another cast mate missing from this season is the remaining six feet of Kyle Richards’ hair, which is probably sitting at the bottom of a garbage bag somewhere, crying over its loss.
Kyle chopped her ‘do back in August, but it was still a shock to see the new style during production.
The premiere basically centered around Erika Jayne’s 45th birthday party, which was like a Sex and the City meets Studio 54 meets Boogie Nights redux (without Mark Wahlberg’s penis, sadly).
For her birthday, Erika received a pricey Marc Chagall painting — somewhere in the ballpark of 80k — and a black panther Cartier ring among some other crazy gifts.
The ladies and company gathered at Pump to kick off the celebration with some libations, and truly the only drama we think we’re going to see this season is the fight brewing between Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna.
After sniffing out the dramatics, the new kid on the block, Dorit, said, “I don’t like the idea of women treating women terribly and bullying.”
Honey, do you know where you are?
You’re in the jungle, baby.
The party moved back to Jayne’s house, where she was very inappropriately dressed for a Studio 54-themed party.
Erika was bedecked in a full-length black gown, which doesn’t exactly scream Disco Ducklips.
The dress itself might’ve been the most interesting bit of the party, however — because Jayne was wearing a diamond-encrusted thong underneath.
That’s how you do 45, friends.
The only real drama that occurred — this episode! — was when Rinna and Vanderpump slightly faced off on the dance floor because of last season’s carryover drama.
It’s a brand-new season, ladies … better start churning out some brand-new drama!
