Tragic Details Emerge After Minnesota Father Kills Wife, Three Children, & Then Commits Suicide

So scary and sad.

Brian Short, a father in South Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota, allegedly murdered all three of his teenage children, and his wife, before turning the gun on himself in a suicide at their home earlier this week.

Short, a nurse by trade who also founded a popular nursing website, apparently grabbed his shotgun, walked into the rooms of his children Cole (17), Madison (15), and Brooklyn (14), and shot them one by one.

Then, he turned the gun on his wife Karen, 48, who had grabbed a cell phone and was calling 911 after hearing the first gun shots inside the house. He killed Karen in a separate bedroom of the home, and then went to the garage, where he shot and killed himself.

Authorities only found the bodies several days later after Short failed to show up to work.

Though the family lived in a $ 2 million, 5,600-square foot mansion, Short allegedly found himself with both financial and mental health problems, and sources alleged that police suspect those contributed to Short’s decision to kill his entire family, and then himself.

Obviously, the community has been rocked by the murders. Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the Short family as they deal with the fallout from this terrible tragedy.

Floyd Mayweather -- I Like My Gloves Just Like My Money ... GREEN!!

Z STAFF

0912-floyd-mayweather-tmz-02Floyd Mayweather has picked the gloves he’ll use to pummel Andre Berto tonight, and just like his favorite thing in the world, Champ’s goin’ green.

We’re told Mayweather picked the pair this morning and they run around $ 2,500 for the average joe. Champ will be rockin’ the gloves for free from his sponsor Grant Worldwide — but it’s not like the price would have been a problem.

Our Floyd sources say he went with the gold and green because they represent both money and the colors of the MGM Grand where tonight’s fight will take place.

May the best dressed man win.

Garner was part of the Think It Up telecast in El Lay on Friday, a show trying to raise money and awareness for improving education in California, and Garner was joined by many other celebs at the wonderful event.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Biel, Justin Bieber, Kacey Musgraves and many more all joined Garner on stage at various points throughout the night — including the last two performing for the event — and a good time looks like it was had by all!

Garner, pictured above with Bieber, was all smiles at the event, though of course she was not wearing her wedding ring. Considering all that she’s been through the last several months, at least she was happy on Friday night!

Posting a throwback pic of the two of them together during her early childhood (above), Meadow reflected on what her daddy meant to her in a very touching memoriam. Here’s what she wrote (below):

Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The#PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood

Awwww!! So sad, but so meaningful, too.
