Kardashians Speak on Lamar Odom, Temporarily Shut Down Websites

After individually sending their thoughts and prayers to Lamar Odom via social media this week, the young members of the Kardashian-Jenner family have released a joint statement.

With Odom allegedly brain dead and with hope tragically running low, the sisters gave fans a brief update on their personal status, while also touching on their latest business ventures.

Via a message posted on the new websites of Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, the siblings wrote:

“As a family, we’ve decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time.”

(Kourtney Kardashian does not have an app.)

Following a weekend of partying at a brothel in Nevada, Odom was found unconscious on Tuesday afternoon.

Tests have revealed both cocaine and a dangerous herbal supplement were in his system at the time of the incident, with Khloe, Kim and Kris Jenner flying to Lamar’s hospital bedside as soon as they learned the news.

Other family members later joined them, although everyone except Khloe has now headed back home to California.

Odom, however, remains in a coma. His prognosis has not improved and some outlets have reported that, even if Lamar survives, he will be brain dead.

The two-time NBA champion has battled substance abuse for many years.

He fell off the wagon after about four years of marriage to Khloe Kardashian, disappearing for a time and eventually admitting to infidelity during his drug binge.

Khloe as left with no choice but to divorce Lamar, although they are still legally married and she is therefore in charge of his medical decisions.

Since the couple’s split, she has also been very open about her strong feelings for her estranged husband.

According to a People Magazine insider, Odom is on his “last leg.” He’s hooked up to ventilator and the family is “preparing for the worst.”

Adds this source:

“Khloé has always loved him. And that has never changed and if he didn’t have issues, they would be together. She’s devastated.”

The Originals Recap: Everybody Loves Hayley

Jackson made his return on The Originals Season 3 Episode 2, which highlighted how dangerous the sire war can be to the Mikaelson clan.

It also showed us how Davina, Hayley, Klaus, and Lucien are all making moves that could seal their fates in what looks like an epic season.

The episode, titled “You Hung the Moon,” began with Davina explaining more about the plan she has for Hayley in order to break the curse.

Because she wasn’t present during the full moon, Elijah and Jackson realize that Hayley, who is being held by Davina, may be in danger.

Hayley is upset with Davina keeping her from Hope on the one night of the month she can hold her in her arms, but Davina won’t relent.

Jackson won’t stay in the woods as Elijah tries to find Hayley, while they discuss with Klaus the poachers they encountered in the bayou.

Klaus speaks of Lucien and his prophecy, after which Elijah and Jackson leave to go see Lucien, with potentially disastrous consequences.

Thinking he’s safe thanks to the boundary spell keeping vampires of any different sire line (other than Klaus’) out of his penthouse … he isn’t.

Elijah throws a stake through his throat from outside the boundary, while Jackson attacks him, leaving Lucien in need of Klaus’ blood to live.

Davina begs for aid from the spirits when, midway through trying to free the Crescent wolves from the curse, begins bleeding out the eyes.

Immediately, both Jackson and Hayley stop transitioning … but as she completes her task, a host of witches flood the scene, setting her off.

In a blinding rage, she goes OFF on Klaus, describing how she just wants a better life for Hope than either of their parents provided for them.

Sensing an impasse, Elijah suggests that Hayley and Jackson move into the apartments across the street so that both can remain with Hope.

DASH Dolls Season 1 Episode 4 Recap: Mama Drama, Baby

It was hard not to feel for Malika Haqq on DASH Dolls Season 1 Episode 4 … though suddenly, perhaps her DUI arrest last week makes more sense.

On DASH Dolls Season 1 Episode 4, Malika wondered wondered why she so often finds herself in these kinds of unhealthy relationships.

What’s that saying about the definition of insanity?

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? Something like that … although driving drunk is a close second.

Hopefully, the Malika Haqq DUI is something she can learn from, and she doesn’t get fired by Kris Jenner before her career takes off.

It remains to be seen if DASH Dolls can retain enough of Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ audience to become a hit show in its own right.

Or, conversely, whether it will be a one-season flop.

Anyway, as you’ll see when you watch DASH Dolls online, Caroline had some unresolved issues to work through concerning her mother.

How did she go about trying to handle that situation?

How to Get Away with Murder Season 2 Episode 4 Recap: 52 Stabs in the Dark

Are Caleb and Catherine telling the truth?

Annalise opened How to Get Away with Murder Season 2 Episode 4 by sending Michaela on a mission to come up with an answer to this question.

So Michaela ends up at a hospital with the twins because Catherine is at the doctor to prove she’s actually a virgin, flirting a bit with Caleb and then learning that Catherine is at least telling the truth about this aspect of her life.

At trial, Annalise is thrown off her game a bit after Nate’s wife, Nia, asks her to kill her.

“Just be a good person for once and get me the pills,” she screams/begs/urges.

And Annalise does get the little orange bottle, but she doesn’t give it to Nia in the end, telling her instead that everyone is ultimately on his or her own path anyway… so suck it up, basically. (We’re paraphrasing there.)

Let’s now talk about Asher: he calls in sick as a guise because he’s spending with his judge of a father, striking an immunity deal with a certain prosecutor who we know will be dead in four weeks.

He agrees to testify that Annalise has Nate kill Sam for her, with Emily Sinclair saying she’ll get the deal signed officially in the morning… only for Bonnie to show up.

She had Asher’s phone tracked and she’s there to falsely confess to Sam’s murder. Whoa! We know this will cause Asher to take back his side of the agreement because he’s still smitten with his Bonbon.

Case of the Week time: It centers on a woman named Zoe accused of stabbing her victim 52 times in the woods.

She has an amazing blowup toward the end of the hour, referring to Annalise as a “bitch” and a “whore,” but an actual video on her phone of her bragging about slaughtering her friend is her undoing.

And, finally, Flash Forward time:

Four weeks from now, Annalise is flatling in an ambulance and flashing back to all the nuttiness from the Hapstall case, from Nia’s death and more.

Elsewhere, Laurel, Wes, Connor and Michaela are fleeing the mansion in Nate’s car… when Michaela received a phone call and must act as casual about whatever is said during it.

When she gets dropped off at her apartment, who is there but Caleb?!?

“How is she?” he asks, to which Michaela answers “Good” and to which we respond:

Is it next Thursday yet?!? Where could all this possibly be going on How to Get Away with Murder Season 2 Episode 5?
